Let me present to you all, the Isle of Life. Where I've built the Tower of Life(I know it looks like a penis, it wasn't intentional but I guess it's a happy coincidence.) Built in the middle of a large ocean relatively close to spawn.
Exterior:
It's decorated with a large variety of wildflowers and trees are blooming everywhere on this tiny island.

This is the dock on the island for easy arrival and departure(why would you ever want to leave?!) As you see I have already layed my beach towel ready for the morning. Off camera I got my cooler with mojitos(not really)

This is the path leading to my private garden. Not much to see there as it's not entirely done yet. But it's the place I go if I want to think about life's big questions.

Interior:
This is the current interior, I haven't had the time to decorate it yet but I want paintings on the walls on the second floor and maybe a throne. The bottom floor is just my essentials such as my mineshaft, crafting bench, chests and furnaces.

And at the top of the tower we have the tree of life. Some magic bullshit that keeps the entire island in harmony or something.

I fail to see why I was banned for improving the base, :/ CJ was even replacing the floor but then stopped since he didn't know what the floor design was going to be.
I was on the whitelist for quite a bit and did a decent bit by myself but when I decide to help I get banned :/

If you were to get re-whitelisted, I think given the animosity between yourself and some of the other 'dwarf' players will mean you'll have to move somewhere else.

Replaced some walls, added some cracked walls into walls that weren't cracked, made the potion wall be an actual potion wall, with some potions in the chest, added bits of details, not much really, couldn't think of anything to do at the fortress.

I haven't really done anything today except play Minecraft, so I've had time to work extensively on my island.
I've draped my tower in vines, they're still growing and it's not finalized yet. I've also built a balcony and a floating island with a "jump puzzle".

I also decided to add a farm to my island. I had limited land space so I copied a farm design I saw close to spawn, it's a platform made out of dirt and wood. I was tired off only consuming zombie flesh.

Oh that was CJ, Ya CJ died by fire as a joke really :/ . He didn't say to stop so I felt that he was find with it.
I know it's completely impossible to downgrade the server, but out of curiosity I installed an older version with two mods that I was really interested and messed around with them. MAtmos for environmental sound effects and Archimedes' Ships mods are both fantastic and address my two biggest problems with Minecraft.
The sound mod just makes everything feel so much more alive and immersive. It's hard to overstate how much of an effect this makes on the game. Meanwhile the ship mod fixes my other huge annoyance and it's how shitty the boats are. Not only can you now build your own boats (and air ships!) but they won't self-destruct the moment you look at them funny. It adds so much to the game for me because Minecraft is sorely missing more developed transportation options.

Dwarven Public Works Announcement:
In hopes of making the nether high way safer (Note: Safer, not safe :v:) I'm going to (eventually) exchange all roads with half slabs with stone from Mallen-Tol. This will greatly reduce the spawning of pigmen on the high way.

also put an IRL ruler and protractor against my screen and figured a properly placed station at this spot could service Mallen-Tol, the spawn village, the church of Garry, AND that desert city with the ridiculously long roads going everywhere
