We could cover the floor in carpet and keep the Moody darkness. Grey or black wool could make a neato pavement texture. Green looks convincing as grass/astroturf

Maybe someone (I'm volunteering if nobody else does) could silk touch him some mycelium, then he can go and terraform somewhere else to his liking. All it would need is an enclosed area then hoe the entire thing at night and place some mycelium inside, then it would spread and he would have a mycelium zone all to him self. This would also have the advantage of being easy to get to, so he could work relatively close to spawn and perhaps sometime get himself added to that minecart rail system.

It feels like the server tries to kick me out everytime I try to load shitloads of chunk or use loads of bandwidth.

It is extremely doubtful that you are able to measurably impact the bandwidth in any meaningful way. Give me your ign and I'll check the logs to see what it's bitching about. It's probably anti cheat bitching about you having a lot of jitter, which causes you to send packets in large clumps. If that's the case there's not much I can do beyond loosening the restrictions a bit further. Do you get kick messages or are you just timing out?

Its saying something along the lines of "connection forcibly removed by host" (I don't remember the actual sentence) rather than "Timed Out" which I usually get on a bad internet day.
