Yeah, if I sprint and jump in 2 block high areas, the game stops me.
I think refreshing the server keeps it fresh and interesting. Having the same world forever is kind of boring. Not to mention there are so many abandoned cities and structures.
I'm fine with it either way, just saying my opinion.

Known issue with this particular plugin. There's not much I can do about it short of disabling multiple checks. It's odd that it even affects you though, as as far as I know it primarily triggers on people with high latency. Your latency is consistently quite low.

I'd really hoped to avoid doing this, but I'm doing some work that requires me to take down the map render for the time being due to disc space. (This is part of the reason why I'm moving to a dedicated box). I don't know if I will put it back up before I migrate. Even as a compressed archive we are looking at several dozen GB in size.
This does not have any impact on the server. It's exclusively the map render.

Also, could I eventually kill others if I wanted?
PvP has been enabled for a month or two now since some people wanted to duel.
If others want to fight you, then feel free. Harassing someone and or taking their shit/base wrecking is not allowed.
So essentially I build in the town or somewhere and just sort of make a little house and live? Nobody can rob me or anything?

A friend I had whitelisted also spawned underground. I had to go rescue him. World spawn needs to be reset probably.
No it's not normal.
Were you in the right spawn coords? I know some people were digging around there a few days ago and they might have accidentally dug under the exact spawn point and not patched it up sufficiently. I remember a few people were spawning in that boat tunnel a while back before I moved it over 2 or 3 blocks.
Worst case you can always /kill yourself. I'll look into patching it up in a bit, assuming this was actually at the spawn point.
It's definitely the spawn point. Like I said a friend of mine had the same issue and I had to dig him out because he was infinitely dying.
Oddly enough, /kill didn't work for him. It said he didn't have permission.

Nope.. still spawning underground, but now I'm just killed automatically. Can't use /kill either. Don't have permission.

Sort of messed with it, and once I died, I left the server, then joined back, respawned, left again before it reteleported me back underground, joined back, and I was fine.
I just made a hole from the surface to bedrock. Apparently the seed is trying to spawn at y=64, and for some reason it's occasionally not pushing people up to the surface like it should.
As a short term fix I've just made a tunnel underground. If it doesn't push you to the surface, you should spawn in it and be able to just walk out. I'll look into if this is a routine issue. If there's no easy fix we may want to just move remove a portion of that hill around spawn.
Its a shame the map render is down, its a good thing i have some maps of the area around me, including a super zoomed out max level map.
I'll try to have it back up within a week.
PSA, everyone should switch to athousandpandas.club as the server address. That way you wont have to change anything when I migrate to the new server. I'll just change where that points to.
I got ultra lost exploring and don't know where my camp was, great. I'll have to wait for the map to come back because I need to find unexplored territory anyway.

Update: Holding off on migration until I know how much my transmission is going to run me. Server remains up of course, but the map render may be on a hiatus till mid May - early June. Sorry, but this is a large unforeseen expense.
