I need a landscaper. I have a lot of dirt that needs to be dug up and replaced. Literally an entire biome's worth.
Unfortunately I can only pay you in stacks of wheat and you have to walk to me on the overworld which will take at least 3 MC days :v:
Video cuts and flashes forward to 3 months time. The reporter (woolio) stands, dirty faced, torn clothes shouting frantically into the mic; the ruins of vozkal clearly visible in the background.
"2 days ago we saw the land mark event where a 3rd of the world was covered in -"
The camera sharply pans left toward a forest, a great billowing cloud of dust with trees collapsing, uprooting or bursting to splinters a faint golden glow from behind the dust.
"we have to move!" shouted the video editor (_incoming)
The camera sweeps round to the crew, hastily putting equipment into boxes and unplugging equipment. Sound from the video ceases as the cable is unplugged. A silent commotion of Woolio shouting into the wind at someone behind the camera. The camera is unsteady now and the hail of wood chippings obscuring anything but Woolio and the immediate vicinity. The camera is back on the forest, the gold more visible now, waist high around the shredded stumps of trees and covering what few fences remained. The video cuts out into static.
"At great loss we received this intel."
The man in the grey woolen suit paced articulating in a deep, authoritative voice, his peaked cap casting a stark shadow over his hooded eyes. (Usernamed I guess?)
With a click of the remote the static noise image projected onto the glushenko war room was replaced with a map of the known world. Golden yellow covered most of the map. Landmarks and towns were totally unrecognisable, even the water was patchy with it.
"We tracked wheat's origin to this farm here"
He gestures to the location that was once King_scorpions farm using his laser pen.
"From there it spread. He lost control of it, WE lost control of it. Field Marshal Kelvin tried resetting the chunks but it is was no good"
"Gentlemen. We're looking at a total world reset"
fuck it, i'm done
Really man?
What a wimp.

uhhhh......
I think i fixed this yesterday. Just checked the map, it is fine.
You all seem on tilt..
Anyway, I played on the old old old vanilla MC server. Might give it another swing, if you have your arms open
Can I be whitelisted, Ign: SilverThing
Apparently it happened again? I did it early yesterday but I haven't touched it since

I don't really care about the map, my whole house was hit again.
If you really want to piss somebody off flipping maps isn't the way to do it, just dismantle their house and rebuild it block by block but lowered/raised by a block, etc
Methylparaben hasn't been on the server in months, has he? I want to commandeer his house near Pikzal, so I can get started on that project.

Rebuild it upside-down.

I'll take it upon myself to untilt all your items, if you want me to.

Thanks, but I'll be fine. Still not exactly happy about it though. Joke's got REALLY old the 6th time around, guys. Don't want to ask to have this looked at if I don't have to.
-snip- nvm account isn't even 3 months old.
This mc community seems less terrible than others.
See all this plains biome, including that large island the bridge connects to? All wheat farms

How do you feel about terraced wheat farms
I visited Torinton and it's AMAZING. I want to live there now.
Not sure who to talk to about this but I'd like to build a house here:

It's by the public dock close to Eomstore, is it ok? I'll keep terraforming to a minimum.
Work on Pikzal is steadily progressing. We've got a basic road system set up in half the town, and a post office has already been built.
I've decided, at the request of several people I spoke with prior, to approach this from two perspectives: Art Deco and Mid-century modern. I'm trying to keep in the theme with Vokzal, but address some issues that we ran into in the later parts of that project.
I've also decided on some loose zoning laws:
A height limit of four stories, to prevent skyscraperification;
A recommended building style, although if you want to do something more modern or more traditional, that's fine too;
Smaller houses and buildings overall, to reduce build times and populate the area;
Designated districts for residential, commercial, and industrial.
But, if you've got an idea for a project that doesn't meet these, we can definitely talk it over. The whole idea behind Pikzal is that it's less managed than Vokzal, so these are more suggestions than rules.
If you're looking for a new start, or just a summer home, Pikzal is open for business. We're right off the rail from Wildeholt, straight down the Vokzal line.

I'm not sure what Fulsy or Eomsten wants to do there, you might want to ask one of them first before building. I know a spleef arena was talked about earlier.

I personally have no plans for this area, so I say knock yourself out. Not sure about Eomsten, but I'm willing to bet he'd be okay with it.
My plans for a spleef arena don't fit a spot like that.

Probably ought to be more specific with the height limit. Some people make one floor 3 blocks high while others have 4 blocks high, some maybe 5.
Conor's been threatening to take my house down for weeks
