Having some hiccups with a few other things because of various reasons (mainly because I'm switching distros, so I have to retweak a fair number of scripts here and there). I'll probably do it around 12-3AM EST, and moving everything over will take a bit. I may not get to the map tonight.

I've been incredibly busy with random real life shit lately. The map render was throwing some bizarre combination of errors that I didn't have time to sit down and step through for several hours. Given my relative unfamiliarity with the more complicated side of python, it just wasn't something I could do in 30 minutes. I believe I have resolved the problem now (long story short, there was something weird as fuck where it was using both python 3, and 2.7 at once. How the fuck that happend I don't even want to know). I'm running a test run overnight on a small section of the world, and we'll see what happens.
Barring any issues with that, I will begin a full render in the evening (EST) tomorrow. It will just be one style (daytime) for now to reduce the render time on the initial run.
Real life stuff comes first man, same kind of shit going on with me. Thanks for the update though.

Oh man, I haven't played on this server in forever. Glad to see it's still here and everything I built is still okay. I'm on a Minecraft kick right now so I'll be online a bunch for the next few days.

I don't think it's occupied, but last I checked it was still there if that's what you're meaning.
Yeah, occupied is what I meant. I may return to it, to at least salvage my equipment and start anew.
Doubtful I'll open to a group build given how disastrous the dwarven hold became when we had so many people live there. The clash of ideas on what to do next just tore the place apart.
Shoulda stuck to my original plan to just include 2 or 3 other players, I think our maximum population was around 8 or 9.
When I quit playing, I was about 10,000 blocks away from home looking for a new place to build a dwarven keep of my own. I got back on and due to a lack of equipment on myself or surrounding me, decided to go back home.
I only had a very very [I]very[/I] vague idea of where home was since I've since lost all my written copies of coordinates down, so just headed in the general direction I knew it would be.
Traveled for about 6 in-game days until I came across a vast ocean. Wasn't sure I was in the right place as I didn't recall an ocean where I was, but seeing no other land route, I made a boat and sailed.
I [I]finally[/I] came across the first trace of civilization -the Grand Facepunch Cathedral in all its might and beauty. I immediately knew where to go from there - the dwarven hold was directly west across the ocean from the cathedral, and sailed home.
First thing I noticed was the remaining dwarves, before they all quit (I assume) had finished the port to the keep and I was able to smoothly sail in. From there, I was home and explored the hold I had built with almost 8 other members for nearly 6 months and all its grandeur.
There's so many projects to complete, I'm not sure I can really leave this place. I really would like to start anew and build a little castle but this dwarven hold was probably the greatest work I've built along with others in Minecraft, so I guess I'm staying for a while if to at least finish some of my personal projects on the place - if not begin to revive it once more.
So I guess the great Dwarven Stronghold of Mallen-Tol is back in business, is there any dwarves that dare help me continue on its growth?
