I interrupt this debate to bring you pictures of the glamorous job that is the spawn terminal remodel.
It's probably more appropriate to start its own thread then leave a link to it in a post here.
I did start my own thread in the Videos section but heaven forbid I might want to show my friends what has been keeping me away lately. Sorry to offend your sensibilities. Woolio, thanks for all your helpful tips. I'm going to try on paring down future footage but that guy talked FOREVER. We really wanted to go in and have a video about searching for genesis stuff but he talked so long my camera almost died. I'll remember that 3-5 minute mark in the future.
I wasn't offended, all I did was point out that this is probably not the thread for that. No need to be an ass about it.
You do tend to come off as a bit abrasive sometimes, although I'm sure you're not trying to.
The autofarm has been more or less completed. Storage is on the left side of the iron farm. Chests contain wheat, wheat seeds, pumpkins, melon slices, sugar cane, potatoes, and carrots. There is room for beetroot materials as well. As with the iron, take whatever you want. There is nothing to replant (hence autofarm). When we roll to 1.9 I'd like somebody to get me some beetroot to throw in a couple autofarm layers. It will become effectively unlimited once I can get a couple stacks of seeds going. I only need 1 seed, and then I can let exponential growth and a few dozen stacks of bonemeal take care of the rest. Once that's rolling the farm will produce an unlimited number of beetroots, and beetroot seeds. [editline]27th February 2016[/editline] I should add that I'd like to work on breeding some perfect (or just good enough) villagers and trapping them somewhere near spawn. With the ridiculous amount of food mats being generated, emeralds are going to be relatively cheap to acquire. Not as trivial as iron to be sure, but getting a few stacks of blocks won't take too much effort.
Due to my studies and competing hobbies draining me of spare time, I've decided not to finish my current project at spawn (a small lot next to the grand rail station opposite from the side that's already been developed.) All materials on site can be used by whoever wants them.
So the famine is finally over?
Will the potatoes be pre-cooked?
No way to do that without fuel.
No way to do that without fuel.
So, set up a blaze-farm in there too! :v
So, set up a blaze-farm in there too! :v
Nothing in the overworld to use unfortunately. Not like cooking them yourself is a big issue. Nor is starving a big issue when you have so many of them.
Enjoy some top-down maps of the Server's three biggest cities: http://imgur.com/a/llEdN [editline]28th February 2016[/editline] My face is in the Spawn one :vs:
1.9 is out now. (Godspeed, Spigot)
Again, it will not be an immediate upgrade. There's plugin compatibility (specifically gliders) to worry about, and you can guarantee that there will be some not so minor bugfixes in the next week or two. If people want to dick around with 1.9 on a temp world I will throw up a test server (non spigot.) [editline]29th February 2016[/editline] Meh, went ahead and did it anyways. test.athousandpandas.club. There is no whitelist. This world is temporary. I will not keep it, and I will not move shit around for people.
Just remember to clear out the end on the main server, there's lots of stuff left in the enderman farm
The stuff worth anything has mostly been taken already.
Just remember to clear out the end on the main server, there's lots of stuff left in the enderman farm
I swear all my posts on the forum are ignored..
From what I understand (through reading/watching videos) is that you can spawn the dragon multiple times, and each time it is defeated a portal to the 'outer islands' is generated (which is where the new end related stuff is).
.. so, why are we removing the current end?
Because we want to. The dragon was defeated almost a year ago, long before most of us were on the server.
Because we want to. The dragon was defeated almost a year ago, long before most of us were on the server.
..but you can spawn the dragon as many times as you want. (And need to in order to open the portals to the further islands). I don't see why you feel the need to remove the existing end map?
Shhhhh.

Additionally, since it was requested, I spun up the TS3 server again. mc.athousandpandas.club pw Vidya.
Wait, we can get the new End stuff without resetting the End?
If it generates differently, might as well reset it.
Those are some... interesting people you have there on the test server Kelvin
Why is the test server on Spigot 1.8.7? Shouldn't it be on 1.9?
Why is the test server on Spigot 1.8.7? Shouldn't it be on 1.9?
u w0t?
The test server's showing up as a 1.8.7 spigot server on my end, and I can't join it in 1.9. It seems to redirect to the main server for some reason.
Flush your dns. Alternatively use athousandpandas.club:25566
