Apparently Spigot updated to 1.9 already but I'd wait for Optifine to update as well since a lot of people literally can't play without it
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to join this server. While I do not have more than 50 posts on the forums my account is over 10 years old. I haven't played minecraft in a while but I would love to try and get back into it

People who use Optifine can wait.
For whatever reason, on the test 1.9 server, I got upwards of 700 FPS, whereas on the normal 1.8 server, I get around 100 with optifine and far + chunks

probably because of 1.9 optimizations and the lack of entities
Most people have optifine configured with AA and other performance hitting things. It also does fuck all on some hardware for whatever reason.
I squeak maybe 15fps more out of Optifine, on an i7 and 560Ti with 16GB of RAM. I get about 140-180fps on average, locked to 70.
I'm fine if we just move to 1.9.
Okay I'll be honest, I didn't even test Minecraft without optifine. That was just a suggestion I didn't put much thought into. I say we move on but save some elytras for me :v:
I'll be testing plugins later today.
I fully expect something to be broken.

Welp I was whitelisted a long ass time ago and I'll finally be sticking my head in this week since I'm away from my desktop and MC runs surprisingly well on my 2008 Macbook.

Obviously its the servers super cool largest wooden bridge to the woodlands.
Although I can't help but harbor intent of burning it down with flint and steel because bridges without support makes my eye twitch.
