I also unlocked the blacksmith's new trades, which are mostly crap except the coal one. 22 coal => 1 Emerald 4 Emerald => Unenchanted iron helmet 8 iron => 1 Emerald 3 diamond => 1 Emerald (lolfuckthat) 14 Emerald => Diamond chest piece with Fire Protect II There should be one or two more trades before he's all unlocked. Hopefully I can get diamond boots with feather fall or something of the like. Keeping villagers in water on top of half slabs should work as defence. IMO you make the breeder and have a seperate, ultra secure zombie siege proof vault for the high value villagers.

Slabs are transparent, so it passes the transparent check, and the block below is solid, so it passes the solid check. Theoretically a one-block air gap between the ground and the slabs could prevent spawns in a siege. From the wiki: Siege zombies won't spawn in water, so surrounding a village with bottom-half slabs over a pool of water will prevent spawning.

They can be difficult to handle if there is no server lag. Maybe keep your distance and shoot it with a good bow?

I purposely made a station next to it so I wouldn't ruin anything for the time being but did extend out the back, can easily tack onto that if you want.

Fuck this wither shit. It blew up 2 sets of my armor and equipment and the wither effect kills you even when you have rregen II potions. I give up

after it threw a few bombs at my railway and factory and i spent 2-3 hours trying to kill and lure it away in addition to getting killed loads of times and losing a whole bunch of stuff i kinda lost my appetite

I agree. Pretender mentioned glitching onto the nether roof for the next fight. If someone has the dragon egg I could make a small hole in the roof to make it less of a pain to get up there.
