As for the technical aspect of the Subway System, after experimenting I found that this is the simplest way to do it. It comes in, triggers a detector rail, waits until the signal triggers the powered rails, automatically continues. I think I'll skip out on the island map. I don't have a lot of time to play as it is, I don't want to split it between two different maps, especially when one is designated to be reset every once in a while. You'll find me building my castle on the original server soon enough.

Same here. I've claimed an island and I'll build on it when I can, but honestly the idea of islands in the first place for me just doesn't click. I'll still be working hard at Spawn on the old server. I've started the subway already.

I have still yet to claim an island for a similar reason: I'm just not sure I have the time to actually do anything meaningful with it, and I'd rather put whatever spare time I have (and choose to spend on Minecraft) towards building an underwater base in the original server.

If I end up becoming active on the island server, and if it's alright with you, I'd probably like to hook my island up (I'd do all the building, all you'd have to do is hook it up with your existing infrastructure)

I've given it a good thought and seeing that more people forgot to jump in on the Subway thing I will ditch my original central station design in favor of a less fancy but more expandable one. As for the straight tracks, I love the design I made after Duck told me to make it fancier but I will ditch that for just excavating a 3x3 tunnel through the ground, no design because the amount of work it takes to do that is huge. The Stations and Entrances remain unaffected however and will still get a fancy ass design.

For anyone not in the Discord: I am taking requests for map makers on server 2. Send me a PM here or on Discord with the coordinates, island name, and colour of flag you want. Colour choices are blue, yellow, red, orange, purple, pink, green.

Quick update on the Subway System I made a slight mistake and made a tunnel approximately where the green box is currently at. [t]https://i.imgur.com/DxRTnC4.png[/t] I have kept my progress there and have also made a tunnel east of my island, the tunnel I accidentally made to the North of me could (and will probably) be re-used for the Swynwater connection. Hence I will make a slightly updated version of the map soon.

Someone built a chest, a basic dock and flattened some ground on the island I claimed. I don't know if they moved onto it after I claimed it or I just never spotted that stuff prior to claiming it. Can someone confirm who was there first?

I wish I could announce the Subway was completely done but sadly we have experienced some troubles. Duck and me been thinking a lot about what would be the most efficient system as mine definitely had some flaws.

On one hand, no one knows who came to the island I claimed or whether they were there first or not. On the other hand, they haven't built anything else on it besides the chest of stuff and basic cobblestone dock. I still don't want to play on the island server until this is rectified. I don't want to move to another island just to find out that I could have the original, but I also don't want to start building to find out I have to move.
