can I get a whitelist? IGN: cowtippinsloth
I already have you whitelisted under the name "ArcNovaFP". Do you have multiple accounts or did you change your name? I'm familiar with both names.
you know, a guy who got permabanned for making a bunch of ban evasion alts used cowtippinsloth as a username outside facepunch

sounds fine then [editline].[/editline] ban evading just to play minecraft would be weird anyway
I knew I'd heard the name before. You're whitelisted.
I already have you whitelisted under the name "ArcNovaFP". Do you have multiple accounts or did you change your name? I'm familiar with both names.
I think this is Arcs place from his other acc http://184.171.161.162:8124/?worldname=world&mapname=flat&zoom=5&x=1333&y=64&z=-378
I was burning down this forest and beating up villagers here: http://184.171.161.162:8124/?worldname=world&mapname=flat&zoom=6&x=92&y=64&z=-4294 But then I got creepered while enjoying the sight of a burning forest, I lost my horse and armor. Karmic justice I suppose.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/qbxSPTn.png[/t] These changes to the tracks seem arbitrary no? It was a perfectly good (and useful) line to the bone zone [editline]23rd December 2017[/editline] And you removed the stop in chestnut town too? please do not unlink my place from that line coz I use it fairly regularly.
Allow me to explain. I removed those tracks (and will remove everything else west of the tunnel) because I will use the tunnel to connect to Citadel Station. I've just gotten sidetracked with another project in Spawn and haven't been able to do it yet. I'll get on it when I can get on again. I removed those tracks that I did to examine the space available on that plot of land after I destroy the tracks. As for Chestnut Village, there's still a stop located here on the MIRR: http://184.171.161.162:8124/?worldname=world&mapname=flat&zoom=6&x=-223&y=64&z=-330 It didn't make much sense to have two lines going to the same place, especially when it's that small. I didn't want to eliminate Sob's line west entirely, as it connects to another rail line and is used. I just got rid of the little branch line that juts out from his line. I kept the station since it looks good.
Merry Christmas serverpeeps
Would a snow accumulation mod be too intense to run? I wish minecraft had that by default
Merry Christmas ya'll. Happy building!
I've been doing some research and development in underwater building techniques. [thumb]https://s5.postimg.org/lmvfbpzlh/2017-12-26_01.32.07.png[/thumb] The results it has yielded are intriguing to say the least.
[thumb]https://s5.postimg.org/68jtod1cl/2017-12-27_17.41.58.png[/thumb] The intrigue runs deeper. I'm pretty sure I'm venturing into unexplored territory here. I did some Googling around and couldn't find any mention whatsoever of the kind of water manipulation I've been doing. It seems that I'm the only one who is dumb enough to try to manipulate water underwater. :v:
Neat, can you make the "roof" at different heights without creating floods?
In theory, yes. Just gotta spread the fence posts on the ground out farther depending on how high up the highest water block that can get in is. Obviously, a room with a very high roof would take up a lot of real estate, so I kept the model in that screenshot very small, because I wasn't sure it would actually work. The tower in the first screenshot up there is about 80 blocks tall. The room at the top doesn't flood because there are four fence posts on the ground, one at each corner of the tower. If one of them were broken, the room at the top would eventually flood (probably after several minutes). [editline]It's blocks all the way down.[/editline] Proof of concept: [thumb]https://s5.postimg.org/xe6fjz3cl/2017-12-27_22.46.01.png[/thumb] Here's a before-and-after shot. The pyramid on the left is only solid from the fifth layer up. On the right is what happened when I used a command to replace all of the Polished Diorite with air. Even with that command, this took a while, so this isn't super practical; just super fancy and obscure.

I am going to make a real effort to play on the server again. I forgotten how relaxing the game is, and with all the IRL stress I have been having, it's something I need.
Gonna finish your castle? I'll try to maintain my activity as well.
Definitely going to try, but right now I'm working on a secondary quarry.
I'm working on developing the district across the river from Citadel and Thompson Tower. I've already built a few low rises, and I may build one or two high rises if there is room.
Is there a nether route to the Guardian Grinder and is the Guardian Grinder operational for public use?
I am submitting an RFP as Mayor of Spawn for a 500' building (about the same height as City Hall) to be built on this lot, which is at Broad and Oak. [t]https://i.imgur.com/TB5vtw7.png[/t] Only requirement is that it isn't sandstone. There are too many around there.
Instead of tackling my massive future castle, I've opted to work on the dozen or so half built houses all around my kingdom. There's a lot of buildings I built up halfway, ran out of wood, then after I got some, started a separate building. So now I've finished and roofed two buildings so far. Also, anyone feel free to help fill in the map in the Cartographer's Guild building in Spawn. There are plenty of materials there, courtesy of 1Duck to make maps. Just need people to make them and explore with them.
Stolons donated a lot of iron which will be very handy too!

I think it's time to make the ugliest building on the server. [img_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/QjOOdQw.jpg[/img_thumb]
ASIC strikes again [img_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/iWsHwAh.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/f4Vm3BW.jpg[/img_thumb]
I actually did that quite some time ago. I forgot about it till now.
I may have inadvertently designed one of the most expensive buildings on the server (though Duck has me beat with his tower for sure): [T]https://i.imgur.com/al0NmlB.jpg[/T] Name: The Columbus Hotel Height: 300 ft Location: 1001 N Broad St (Broad and Pine Sts) Cost: fuck I wanted something in the area that was Art Deco but different from the sandstone that has sort of become monotonous in the area (due, in no small part, to myself).
