Are these originals or are they interpetations of real world buildings? I think I see the US Bank tower and the Sears Tower.

Tbh it would be nice if there were another major urban city like spawn somewhere.
Instead of everything outside of spawn being "the wilderness", it would become "the countryside"

There is those two buildings as well as the Shard from London, as far as I remember I just made the others up.
Im currently preparing an area to start my own town but would like to build a skyscraper in the spawn city when I have more resources. After work I might scout the city for a build site
Spawn needs some darker buildings for contrast/
We have a grand total of one at the moment, the Port Authority building (the big black glass building fronting Central Park)
Also need to break out of the # grid shape and get a few diagonals. Add something like the Flatiron Building somewhere, maybe along that road that leads to Pretender's town
I tried to add a few diagonals and hills in old city but I didn't really get too many. There's a plot in the northwest corner though that I plan on developing. I'll add more where appropriate.
I once had an idea for a cloaked flying saucer in minecraft.
THe bottom would be blue wool or something.
You'd have to light up the bottom of the saucer somehow, or else it'd just be a black circle when viewed from below. Even then, it'd still stick out like a sore thumb, so I think you'd be in for disappointment no matter what.
So unfortunately, I designed this building having forgotten to make it darker. It's near a bunch of different color/size buildings (including a very dark one), so it's not the end of the world, but I do want to make some darker looking ones:

Hey uh, I have to publically apologize for hoovering up some of Gamma's enchanted books and resources to make a set of god equipment. I had been under the impression I could use some of those from earlier cooperation and probably should have asked instead of doing it without warning.

In other news, I'm thinking of renovating the spawn area nether. Spawn itself looks so beautiful, but in the nether it's still a hodge-podge of cobble and dirt half-built walls.
The nether roads in general are absolutely dreadful.
First plan of action is the floors. Stonebrick and smoothstone slabs with blocks gone underneath to prevent pigmen spawning all over the place. That alone I think will make it a bit safer.
Then I'm going to cover all the bridges (also rebuilt) so there is at least a general safety from ghast attacks.
After all that, I will put fence gates along the routes so to have easy access outside the roads, so pigmen don't wander in and it's easy for players to get out in the 'wild'.
If anyone has any ideas or disagreements, let me know

The area in the white dotted space is angering me immensely. It's visible at high render distances and is ruining the appeal of an island base, which is to be isolated on the sea.
If anyone in charge of Roseau is still playing or posting, can I get permission to slate the entire continent for demolition to about where the red line is?
