"Right." responded Taylor, heading towards the armory. When they arrived, they headed into Vakarus's practice room, off to the side. Taylor began to remove her hat and shirt as she walked. Underneath was a superbly toned, muscular figure. She was VERY in shape, a product of her near daily workouts, and years of combat training and mercenary work. She adjusted her top, a navy blue sports bra, and set her stuff (and her holo-tablet) nearby on the floor.
"Could stretch and warm up first. Then we can go at it." she said, flexing her shoulders.

Valkyrie yawned, then stood from the bar. Well, time to find something to do. Maybe play some more video games with Bucky. She had beaten her at F-Max: The Game a few times, and Valk planned to exact revenge. She headed into the Crew Quarters, noticing the new guy standing in the hall. "Hey, snowman." she said as she passed.
"Who was he?" replied Frosty.
The soldier got a distant look on his face. "A friend of mine."
He eyeballed Frosty's outfit. "What antiques are you wearing exactly? Haven't seen that since the Sol Unification."
"I would like to know myself! I have no idea what outfit this is. I only know is that I was put in stasis while wearing it."
Johannes glances up at Valkyrie and nods. "What's up?"
"I would like to know myself! I have no idea what outfit this is. I only know is that I was put in stasis while wearing it."
"Stasis huh?" The soldier grunted. "I can tell you that the last time I saw someone wear that they fought against the SDF in the name of religion. It was old gear then and it's ancient now."
He extended his hand. "Name's McKinze by the way. Daniel McKinze."
"Frosty, it's what my friends call me. Nice to meet you, McKinzie."
He shook McKinze's hand.
"So what can you tell me about this group that once wore armor like this? I ask because I suffer from amnesia and cannot remember anything about my identity."
Alex took off his jacket and shirt. "Alright, don't wanna sprain something right before a fight or anything." he said as he warmed up.

Amy was tapping her foot on the ramp as she was getting more and more frustrated as the delivery was running late. Once he came in sight she was ready to give him an earfull, but opted out of it and just stiff him on the tip. Of course the delivery guy had a whole lot of insults and slurs ready when he found out. "Next time be on time." She said as she she took the items she ordered to the armory, sending Valkyrie a message that her ammo had arrived.
Once there she placed the ammo and training swords on the table. She noticed that Maddox was hard at work, so she gently tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around to face her. "So, I went to a 'friend' and picket up this little thing."she shows him the blueprints "It's a design for a mine. One that is small enough to carry around in your pocket and can be moddified. What do you think? Can we make this work?"
"Oh! Okay great thanks" Johannes gladly accepts the comm link and then takes his helmet off, opening up a side panel on the right side and plugging the comm link into it. He puts the helmet back on and after the firmware installs on his helmet's computer, an opaque window appears showing the UID's and names of all users currently using the ship's network. Johannes keys the comm link to ping Hariim.
Hariim: Comm link ping from Neasha.
Hariim establishes connection to the commlink, and asks: "Hariim here, whaddya need?" His cybernetics probe into the commlink's systems reflexively. He's puzzled for a moment at the ancient software and defenses in it. "Oh. This is the new guy. Might wanna update your firmware there, this stuff is riddled with holes."
Johannes grunts and one of the ancient programs kicks to life and starts blaring random rock and roll from the 1990's of earth at Hariim's system while blocking off his connections. "It's suited me just fine so far. Why are you connecting to my tacnet? That's private. Quit piggybacking off the commlink. Neasha said you'd have to reprogram it so the ID matches my name. Johannes Van Der Meijde"
After a few minutes of stretching, they're ready to go. "Alright. Guess the ground rules are no crotch shots, tap for submissions, and no really heavy hits. Rather not break anything. Five or six rounds sound good?" asked Taylor, as she walked into the center. She adjusted her posture and slowly shifted into a relaxed hand-to-hand stance, open palmed as she lifted her arms in front of her. She really didn't use the basic Wing Chun or Silat stances, as most of the time she wouldn't have the time to get into them in the first place. Especially if she was being attacked.
....
Valkyrie continued on past Johannes, and knocked on Bucky's door.
Hariim's set of cybernetics makes redirecting Johanne's musical retort easy. Not that it ever reached its intended target of Hariim's brain anyways. Hariim takes some creative license with the music, and remixes it into some modern mega-tronic creation. "Sorry, your old tech is easy for my chrome to dig into. Just reflexes at this point." He says, easily making the changes while he does so. At the same time he digs through the memory and tactical systems of Johanne's helmet. "Interesting logs you got in here by the way. You a borg like me?"
-----------------------------------------------------------
Bucky hops up off her bunk and greets Valkyrie. She's dressed in a nice set of her new matte black PT clothes. "Sup, Valk?"
Valkyrie eyed Bucky's PT clothes. "Cute. Anyway, up for some more video games? I still want vengeance for that last F-Max race." she said, with a bit of a grin.
János hadn't done much since he got his ID. He sort of missed Harvey, as at least with his, he wasn't completely by himself at the Brig. He hoped that another warden would join soon to mitigate this issue. However, he decided that he had spent at the Brig enough. He left it and headed for Bucky's room, wanting to play some more 'vidya', as she called it.
He arrived to see Valkyrie at her door. He wasn't sure what to do exactly, as he didn't want to interject himself into something private, if that was the case. Hopefully, Valkyrie won't notice him and he'll be able to just knock after she goes in.
McKinze observed Frosty. "Well, considering ye' been in cryosleep and seeing as you have e' bad case of amnesia I'm assuming you don't know much about the Sol Unification. To sum it all up; several different militant groups oppressed the sol government when it was first formed. A bunch of crazy lads called the Divinity Creed had a last stand here on Mars itself. Being a militia and all, they were almost exclusively equipped with surplus military gear."
He paused and looked at Frosty's bodyarmor. "The gear was shite by current standards but it was better than nothing. I recognize your bodyarmor as one of the sets used by their militants."
"Although I doubt that you're somehow connected to them, you don't wear their colors and those who survived the might of the united SDF military fled on one single giant ship."
-----
Maddox looked up and inspected the blueprint with interest. "You must have a good contact, this isn't even out on the open market yet. Send it to my datapad and I'll whip something up for you, shouldn't be too hard."
"Oh dear..." thought Frosty.
"Well, at least there's a chance I am not one of them. Going by what you have told me, I don't think I would enjoy being a part of those people." he spoke.
Frosty pulled out his drawing again.
"Though, do you recognize this in any way? It's a symbol I found on my starfighter I was kept in stasis in. I have no idea what it means."
"Alright. 5 rounds it is." Alex said as he got into a battle stance. He may not have the fancy techniques Taylor had, but he had years of fighting people of all shapes and sizes in the pit as experience.
---
Amy smiled and rubbed her hands together. "Great. Here you go and have fun with it. Now if you'll excuse me." She grabbed several of the training swords and started to go to the training area. "I want to shake off some rust."
McKinze looked at the drawing. "Well it's a terran symbol for sure, but I can't say that I know its exact origin. Your best bet would be the Sol Archives located in Terranos, the capital of Terra."
He returned the drawing. "Sorry that I couldn't be of much help, lad."
"Thanks~ Come in, I got dibs on P1 by the way." Bucky turns and walks into her quarters, leaving it to Valkyrie to close the door. She starts up her console and gets the controllers all sorted out. "Remember to use your afterburners this time, maybe that'll help you suck less Valk." She taunts, giggling to herself as the game loads up.
"Oh, it's alright. I have not had much luck anywhere else either. Still, I very much appreciate the help. I just hope I don't turn out to have been one of those crazy people. All I remember clearly is that I was a fighter pilot. A very good one. In fact, the starfighter I was found in is parked at the entrance. Would you like to check it out?"
"Hey, I would have used the afterburners if you hadn't put me into the wa--" said Valkyrie, before she glanced over and noticed János. "Hey, János. You should join us." she said, waving him over. More players, more fun.
"No need to." Said McKinze. "Creed never had fighter pilots back in the day."
Soon a pair of soldiers in similar armor appeared. They appeared to be twins.
"Looks like my crew needs me. I wish you luck, I hope you manage to figure out ye mystery. Take care."
With that said McKinze departed. A few minutes later a heavily modified SDF adeptor took off.
Amelia fumbled around the corridors, taking into account the engineering, architecture, and- oh look it's Amy with a quintillion swords.
"Hey, um, Amy... Whatcha got there?" she asked as she pointed at her... non-silver swords. Oh wait they are training. Duh.
"Bye!"
Frosty waved at McKinze as he departed. He then continued on to the ~mysterious~ Zeruel Monument.
"Pointy sticks, called swords." Amy chuckeled. "Well, these are not as pointy as the others since they are meant for training, but you get the idea. Wanna try one out?"
János was surprised by Valkyrie. He tried to act natural. "Oh hey, Val. Join you?" he asked, as he approached her.
"Oh hey, Val. Join you?" he asked, as he approached her.
"Yeah, we're about to play some more video games. Come join us." she said, before stepping into Bucky's room. She left the door open so he could come in.
Bucky yells out to Janos from her bunk: "Get in here John! Help me beat Valk's ass at F-max!" She hurriedly gets a third controller set up for Janos and gets the game started. She kicks off her shoes and gets comfy on her bunk, practicing combos and macro button presses. She is ready to kick some serious ass today.
János sighed once Val stepped into Bucky's room. Hearing Bucky yell out from her bunk, he stepped in himself and closed the door behind him.
"F-Max, huh? Hopefully, I won't be as bad as last time," he commented.
"Pointy sticks, called swords." Amy chuckeled. "Well, these are not as pointy as the others since they are meant for training, but you get the idea. Wanna try one out?"
"Oh gosh um... I'm not exactly the physical type" she mumbles as she looks down at her noodle arms compared to Amy. "But uhh... I can maybe give it a go. Sure."
"It is good to see that some people still appreciate the fine art of fencing."
It was Yuga who had just entered the Muramasa from outside, still in her heavy coat.
"And as fine and courageous as this art is it has been rendered almost obsolete a long time ago by distance weapons." Yuga informed Amy and Amelia as she walked up to them.
