"That's his job. He's our cybernetics specialist, as well as a technician. This man works wonders with what he can do. He was trying to see if he could upgrade your suit so it works better. It's not as if he was going to hack into your joints and make you do silly dances."
"It was a blatant invasion of privacy. A simple introduction would have sufficed."
"...care to talk about it? The memory, I mean."
"Since you have been ordered to know anything that our Captain doesn't already know, do I really have an choice?" Jag asked, tilting it's head sightly to right.
"Now that's just his way of saying: 'hello'." Frosty put his feet up on the table.
"Fascinating. Is this your way of saying hello?"
"Of course not. This is just my way of trying to stop a fight. With the way you two were talking, I thought you were gonna start trading punches with eachother." Frosty takes his legs off the table and leans forward to get a better look at Johannes. "My name is 'Frosty'. Well, my nickname at least, as I cannot remember my own. I pilot that odd-looking starfighter that's ontop of this ship. What about you, though? What's your name?"
Johannes sighs. "If I wanted to fight Hariim I would have already attacked him. I just don't trust him because of his little stunt earlier. My name is Johannes, now would you kindly allow us to get back to our business?"
Frosty leans back in his chair and resumes staring at his paper again.
"Thank you. If you want to make a more proper introduction, I do believe I am berthed next to you." Johannes picks up his glass, the vodka now thawed, and finishes it. "That is, assuming, your berth is the one with the "F ZONE" sign on it."
"It is, and it stands for 'Frosty Zone'. I don't understand why everyone looks at it so weirdly."
"Probably because it's easy to assume it means "Fuck Zone" Johannes chuckles.
"Since you have been ordered to know anything that our Captain doesn't already know, do I really have an choice?"
"You always have a choice, really." said Taylor. "If you tell me, that's the best way out of this. I get the truth, and Captain is happy. If you don't tell me, then I'll have to come up with something to tell her, and she may find out its a lie via her psychic stuff." She twirls a finger around next to her head when on the subject of Yuga's psychic abilities. "And then you may end up stuck here till she feels differently about all this."
"Jeeze what do you people think I am? I'm just saying in plain terms that if I'm going to upgrade your suit systems I need to learn them; that way I can make meaningful upgrades to them to get you up to par." Hariim sighs and sips his drink, visibly annoyed. "Christ, I swear they left out some piece or replacement when they brought me back that's keeping me from seeing some detail. I'm not trying to be an asshole if I'm being one. I don't think I have a superiority complex.... Oh well, fuck it." Hariim shrugs and looks back at Johannes. "We can rig up a download for whatever specs you're referring to easily. And once we get that done I can see about learning your suit's systems so I can get them upgraded. You ready to get to work?" He asks with some friendly enthusiasm in an effort to extend a proverbial olive branch. "Also, the captain is probably getting impatient waiting for her tea; so we better hustle." ------------------------------------------------------------------ Bucky has already gotten everything cleared, set, and prepared for the replacement sections of pipe. She high-fives Valkyrie and checks everything over one last time before positioning the new pipes for Valkyrie to weld into place. "So whaddya think that job with the Collective will entail? I haven't really looked too deep into them. I hope it isn't too dangerous."
"Yes, sure. Let's get to work. But first I need a Peppermint Patty..." Johannes goes up to the bar to order his drink, and ends up getting what appears to be a hot chocolate. He comes back, sipping it gingerly, grinning. "Dark Creme de Cacao, Creme de Menthe, Peppermint Schnapps, and Hot Cocoa. Old childhood favorite."
"And then you may end up stuck here till she feels differently about all this."
Jag let out a deep breath. "Your right, First Officer Taylor. The sooner we're done with this, the faster we can get to far more important and useful endeavors...." Jag surrendered, looking around the room for several moments before continuing. "I suffered an momentary lase in judgement and let my emotions get the better of me during calling to the void. Simply put it, I attempted to seek out guidance but my own inner demons flared up and I was caught in an web of my greatest failure." Jag coldly spoke, signs of distressed and burden beginning to show in it's voice and mannerisms.
After hearing Johannes tell Frosty the cold truth, it made him ponder. "Fuck zone? Who in the entire galaxy would ever want to get it on with me?" And so he excuse himself out of the mess hall to correct the sign.
"Great, one of the girls around here has a thing for hot chocolate I think. Every time I see her in here she's drinking it. Anyways, I've got the captain's tea, let's go give it to her, and then get to work on your suit so I can get my own gear along with what I'm gonna need to get your stuff up to snuff." Hariim replies. He's got Yuga's cup refilled and ready. Hariim leads Johannes back up to the bridge and immediately takes note of the new android. He pings her over the wireless network with a friendly message: "Hey there, I'm Hariim. Tech expert and computer systems manager on this crew. Nice to see another android on the crew! You met Bucky yet?" He politely hands Yuga her platter and cup and gives her a curt salute.

It'll more than likely be VERY dangerous." said Valkyrie, as she prepared the welder. She looked over at Bucky. "If we're siding with the Collective, we'll be taking on others like Jag. Trust me, brawling with a Sanghvi isn't fun." she continued, before beginning to weld the pipes into place. ....
"I suffered an momentary lase in judgement and let my emotions get the better of me during calling to the void. She figured it had to be something pretty tragic if its bothering him this bad. "...I won't make you tell me the details about it. You can tell me of your own free will when you're more comfortable doing so. I think the Captain will understand if I explain to her what you just told me."
"...I won't make you tell me the details about it. You can tell me of your own free will when you're more comfortable doing so. I think the Captain will understand if I explain to her what you just told me."
Jag stared straight into her face for an moment, letting out an deep sign of relief from it's neck. "Thank you, First Officer Taylor," Jag said sincerely. "I wish the Captain will take the explanation to face value." The Sanghvi then arose from it's knell, it's head traced on Taylor's while it slowly rose back to it's normal stance. "Now, do you wish for I to accompany to the bridge when you give the Captain my explanation or do you wish for I to stay put here for the time being?" Jag asked while adjusting it's cloak.
"Now, do you wish for I to accompany to the bridge when you give the Captain my explanation or do you wish for I to stay put here for the time being?" Jag asked while adjusting it's cloak.
"Yeah, you can come with me. That way, she can tell you personally if she accepts the explanation." she says, standing. She sets the chair back next to Janos's desk nearby, before heading out of the brig.
Bucky mulls it over for a second. "Well, it's good that I'm not vulnerable to psions and stuff. Android brains are built kind of like a fleshy brain, but not fleshy. I'm sorry, that probably sounds weird." She says with a self-deprecating chuckle. She holds the pipes perfectly steady thanks to her mechanical precision, but still somehow maintains her usual bubbly tone and happy demeanor.
"Yeah, you can come with me. That way, she can tell you personally if she accepts the explanation."
"Agreed." Jag comments as the Sanghvi slowly tails behind Taylor while they both begin heading towards the bridge. Jag quickly checks the Muramasa's archive through it's implant, finding another freelancer has joined the crew's ranks. The Sanghvi nods as it looks over his file while walking along with Taylor. [editline]4th June 2016[/editline] As Hestia stood on the bridge, she received an ping over the wireless network while awaiting her Yuga's response. The fact that she could processes thoughts and ideals faster then the speed of light allowed her to reply back in under half of an second. "Greetings, Mr. Hariim. I'm the new medical Physician employed to serve along side the crew of the Muramasa." She replied over the network.
Hariim is impressed, very much so. He replies back to Hestia via the wireless connection with appropriate respect. "Impressive response time. I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. What're you running your core consciousness on? Usually only quantum computers can schuck out a response as quick as that. My own cybernetics use the quantum qubits that my own living mind processes on, but gets bottlenecked by transitional buffers and coprocessors. Makes me impossible to hack, but I could be faster for as fast as I am."
Johannes glances over at Hariim and notices his glassed over expression, then glances at the Android in the bridge. He looks back at Hariim and leans in a bit to whisper. "Are you molesting that poor thing's computer, too?"
Hariim looks at Johannes with a disdainful expression. "No, Johannes. I was saying hello and enjoying a pleasant conversation with the new ship's doctor before you made that assumption. Seriously, man. I don't understand why you expect me to work on your suit for you if you keep insulting me like this. And you say I'm the ass." He says with some venom. He is genuinely annoyed at Johannes.
Johannes laughs, seemingly unphased by Hariim's displeasure. "You did hack my suit like ten minutes after I stepped on the ship. I think I'm allowed at least two jokes about it."

The gynoid stated over the network, taking an second to familiarize herself with it's workings before finishing her reply. "And to answer your question, Mr. Hariim. My conscious is built upon an unified quantum state cortex, Telemachus pattern to be specific as part of the 6 generation cycle of the Hestia series. The unique constitution of my cortex allows me to operate at such a speed." She said over the wireless steams to Hariim.
Taylor arrives on the bridge, with Jag in tow, to find that Johannes, Hariim, and the new crew member had arrived and were talking amongst one another. "I trust you two aren't still arguing?" she said, as she looked over towards the two males. She continued on, stepping up in front of Yuga and saluting. .... "I know. Synthetics and such." said Valkyrie, as she continued welding. A few moments later, she had finished welding them all in place. "Alright, that should do it." she said, stepping back and turning off the welder.
Johannes takes a deep sip from his Peppermint Patty and shakes his head innocently at Taylor. "Of course not."
Jag enters the room an moment after Taylor, it's tall body looming over the rest in the room where it stood. However, the large obelisk simply chose to remain quiet while keeping behind Taylor. It looked on as the particular robot stood talking with Captain Yuga.
