Jag could not help but let out an audible chuckle from it's neural implant, even through the Sanghvi tend to be very non-humorous.
The sight of large soft-carbon warrior who was supposedly all about being proud, humble and honorable. Was letting his psionic to get this way over an simple piece of nutrients was amusing to the cold Sanghvi.
János was at the Brig the whole time since he left the bar earlier. He did a whole load of nothing until he found the keys for the small wall-mounted box he noticed earlier. He opened the box and found three things; what looked to be a futuristic Welrod, a baton and a tennis ball. Whoever put this here put them in there a long while ago, as they appeared slightly dusty. As he wondered what the ball was for, he figured it out.
He locked the box with ball in hand and went back to the chair he was sitting at. He began throwing the ball towards the wall, catching it as it bounced back. He did this for a while before hearing the breakfast call. He went down to the mess hall. He stood somewhere in the room, being unable to eat. He just watched everyone, akin to the Sanghvi.
Abrax turned to the two observers and stared at them, ignoring the two delighted people beside him.
Alex wasn't feeling hungry, so he just made coffee for himself. He started drinking his beverage as everyone else was eating. He noticed the two figures standing near by and not eating, but just observing. He walked over to them. "I assume you two aren't hungry."
Bucky finishes up the maintenance work she's been doing, and heads to the mess hall to socialize. During the night she cleaned and inspected every inch of crawlspace in her ship. She connects wirelessly to the onboard computer and runs diagnostics on all systems she has access to. Once she enters the mess hall she grabs a small breakfast and finds John, and stands next to him.
"You look bored, John. Nothing look good enough to eat?"
Taylor finishes a few minutes later, cleaning up and stepping over next Alex to observe the others.
"Oh, forgot to mention before. No food allergies or anything, but I do like spicy stuff." she said, as she shifted into her military stance, her arms behind her back.
He stood somewhere in the room, being unable to eat. He just watched everyone, akin to the Sanghvi.
As Jag continued watching the various set and eat, it saw the odd human looking one enter the room. Completely sidesteping the food and watched the other dine like itself.
This sparked the Sanghvi interest, it began to walk towards him and lean on an nearby wall.
"Cannot digest I presume?" Jag commented towards him before turning to face another.
He walked over to them. "I assume you two aren't hungry."
"Unless you serve custom order of solar radiation and rare minerals that originate within stars...Then No." Jag said sarcastically to the soft-carbon.
Amelia is still stuffing her food like it's the end of the world. It looks like she hasn't eaten in days.
Unless you serve custom order of solar radiation and rare minerals that originate within stars...Then No.
"That I can't cook. Good to see you want to talk to the rest of us."
Oh, forgot to mention before. No food allergies or anything, but I do like spicy stuff.
"Great, I can use the hot stuff we have locked up."
"That I can't cook. Good to see you want to talk to the rest of us."
"Likewise.", Jag said as pull itself off the wall. "Most you soft-carbons don't try to to strike up a friendly conversation with us Sanghvi. Less so for an 8ish foot space monster made of from black, scary looking stone."
Jag said referring to itself as it started to move a bit, titling it's slightly as it briefly looked over the soft-carbon it was talking to.
"Nevertheless, I quite enjoy the change of pace." Jag said with an hint of appreciation in it's synthetic voice.
János turned to Bucky.
"Is that question your way of telling me you can eat?" he asked.
"I worked at a lot of ports and ships when I was younger. And met a lot of interesting people on Duroma. After a while, you tend to forget the 'small' differences." He took a sip from his coffee. "You're a bit of an oddity yourself to me. Most Sanhvi I've seen just ignored me or told me to go away."
János turned to Bucky.
"Is that question your way of telling me you can eat?" he asked.
Bucky giggles and shrugs. "I'm a gynoid, remember? I was made to emulate and integrate with humans. I've got processors just below my chest that pull energy from food and drinks, and then convert some of what remains into lubricants for my joints, and coolants for my other systems. You get a Recharger frame?"
Yuga had been studied the charts for some time and was now standing with her arms behind her back and watching he stars go by trough the observation ports at the front of the bridge.
She took out her compass and pressed the button, only to discover that the incense had run out.
She let out a subtle grunt and decided to get some tea from the mess instead.
Ayr only absorb nutrients with trough their skin, and while their ancestors had eaten with their hands it was now frowned upon, hence modern Ayr preferred liquids or steam as nutrition.
Entering the mess she walked straight over to Alex, there was no need to interact with the other at this time.
"You're a bit of an oddity yourself to me. Most Sanhvi I've seen just ignored me or told me to go away."
"Rightfully so, Mr.Korunov. The Sanghvis are a introverted race that obey their elders, usually hiding behind their bufferzones of mindless drones deep in mantle territory"
Yuga took a quick look at Jag and then focused on Alex
"This one however seems more competent and independent than his kin, a positive surprise I might add. I trust you have prepared some tea this morning?". This time Yugas voice actually contained hints of genuine curiosity as she was actually feeling a bit hungry.
Vakarus, having recovered from his previous psionic seizure of joy, neatly packed his emptymplate onto antray which he then left at a shelf next to the door leading into the kitchen.
He approached Alex and did a quick bow. "Your meal, as always, pleaseant, Alex'vakrin."
With that said he left for the bridge. "Do you require assistance, Rask'atvan?"

"And I'm sure you have other processors and properties that work, down there." Abraxas said while he studied.
"I actually didn't know gynoids could eat," János replied in an informed tone.
"I haven't gotten myself anything. Don't really feel like recharging at the moment," he answered. He turned towards Abraxas when he heard him speak. He's not willing to admit that he was thinking the same.
Chef, I trust you have prepared some tea this morning?
"Yes. I remembered the tea you had earlier and prepared a batch in case you stopped by."
"Yes. I remembered the tea you had earlier and prepared a batch in case you stopped by."
Yuga nodded and left for the small canister that contained a batch of Chak tea. The Chak plant was native to Ayr and was a general favourite for off-worlders.
Due to its high concentrations of nutrients, normal lifeforms usually felt bloated or uncomfortable upon digesting it due to the overload of nutrients.
As the Ayr absorbed small amount at a time they were more suitable to using it as food, with a small cup would equal that of a full meal in case of proteins, calories and the like.
Yuga poured herself half a cup.
"And I'm sure you have other processors and properties that work, down there." Abraxas said while he studied.
Bucky responds to Abraxas with a haughty, joking tone. "Only when you've got something for me to process, sugar."
Once she's fired her retort at Abraxas she turns back to her breakfast. She looks around the mess at everybody else. After a while she says to John: "You got any skillsofts for other jobs, John? You could do some ship maintenance or some other job while you wait for somebody to get thrown in the brig."

"Heh, Most of my kind you're be seeing on that world would be either drones or ones that managed to gain sentience through fairly peculiar circumstances. Even then they lack proper upbringing and learn most of their emotions-" Jag tired expaining before being cut off by the Ayr from earlier, interpreting the Sanghvi.
"Rightfully so, Mr.Korunov. The Sanghvis are a introverted race that obey their elders, usually hiding behind their bufferzones of mindless drones deep in mantle territory"
Yuga took a quick look at Jag.
Jag coldly stared back, keeping it's cool as they both made brief contact before departing slight of one another.
"This one however seems more competent and independent than his kin, a positive surprise I might add. I trust you have prepared some tea this morning?"
Jag limply nodded while looking down at the metal floor, walking past her and Alex an moment later towards the other end of the bar, indirectly near Taylor.
Taylor glances down at Alex after a few moments of watching the others.
"Will we be provided weaponry, or will we have to provide our own?" she asked. "I've got enough to buy my own weapons and ammo, but I'd rather not spend it if we'll be given guns."
She then notices Jag approaching, and smiles. "G'morning, Jag." she said.
János was taken aback by Bucky's question.
"Skillsofts? Euhm....... I don't think so," he replied. "I mean, I could probably do some janitorial work," he joked.
"Theirs quite the stock of additional weaponry and equipment within the holds of the armory.", Jag quickly answered.
"And pleasant dawn to you as well, Freelancer Taylor." Jag added.

"Before we left, me and Vakarus made sure to stock up on ammo. I think you will find a variety of standard guns and ammo. Space traders can rip you off. Jag, did you do inventory?"
"Theirs quite the stock of additional weaponry and equipment within the holds of the armory." Jag answered.
"Pleasant dawn to you as well, Freelancer Taylor." Jag added.
"Ah, good. I'll need something bigger than a revolver when we see combat." she said. She had a .357 in her room, but of course an SMG or assault rifle would be much better.
Abraxas snorted, turning to see Alex. "All of those weapons are lethal? Are they?" He asked him in a low tone.
"Getting better weaponry through purchasing or other means is encouraged."
All of those weapons are lethal? Are they
"Mostly."
Abraxas nodded, returning to his work as he was almost done with his pistol design.

"Busywork is better than no work. You're alive as long as you've got a backup of yourself. Work helps keep the mental pathways from getting glitchy y'know. I'll teach you how to do some basic electrical maintenance on your brig if you'd like. It's pretty easy."
