"Hey, Frosty. I'll be standing by in the main bay to fix up your fighter. Take it easy on the old girl, eh?"
A voice came through on the radio. This didn't sound like Frosty. It lacked the warm and friendly reassuring tone of his voice. It sounded very cold and bitter. "Not yet... Not yet. There is something... something I must do before I land."
Hariim replies while the sends a private text message to Frosty
(( wat. you got the wrong popsicle there buster. ))

((Is Hariim talking to Frosty frosty or nickname for Johannes Frosty?)) "It's more time than we'd have if we started a shootout at the gate." [editline]14th June 2016[/editline] ((Nvm)) Johannes silently reads Hariim's text message and sends back a reply telling him to switch to channel 224.13. He would find it was a private subchannel between Johannes helmet radio and the AI in his suit. When Hariim connects, Johannes introduces him. "Hariim my AI goes by Frostbyte. Ask him anything you want he's pretty amicable." <That's because I get bored controlling nanites and watching Animaniacs reruns.>
Despite the high presence of peacekeepers, the Muramasa's ground team along with Jag had managed to pass the UGC camp without conflict. Jag's large physical size made it fit and move rather unwieldy within the confines of the APC. Mostly due to the fact that the APC was built to keep Sanghvi out then inside it. Nevertheless, Jag position itself towards the vehicle's cupola. Looking out to maintain awareness of it's surroundings. The Sanghvi took a second of laxity to appreciate the mountains of this rotten world. Jag thought back to a time long before the wars, after several years of Mantle's conquer of Voyak. In the face of all the suffering it's inhabitants had endured. There was progress on rebuilding this planet anew. But Jag pushed aside these lingering thoughts and refocused on the task at hand.
"There is another option."Amy spoke up. "My steath suit can cloack any item I'm carrying with me. If they wont let us through and Harliim can't hack us in, I can sneak in and plant the detonators. Maybe go in to scout the area. What do you guys think?"

If they wont let us through and Hariim can't hack us in, I can sneak in and plant the detonators. Maybe go in to scout the area. What do you guys think?"
"Sounds good, actually. Lets put it to vote. If Hariim's hacking doesn't work, do we freeze the guards or let Amy sneak in?"
"I vote for freezing." Said Mad. "Detonators are useless without the explosives."
"Then you give me the explosives as well."
Mad chuckled behind the steering wheel. "I hope you're ready to carry dozens of explosive charges, regardless if they're inside the sandbags or not they will weigh you down. Alot."
Johannes chimes in from up on the turret. "I agree. The cloaking idea would be great if we were doing a few charges but we're talking dozens here. It's too big of a risk to send anyone alone like that."
Jag quickly weighted both options before answering with his vote. "Freelancer Johannes's cryogenic abilities would, while having a lesser effect then Infiltrator Amy, would prove to be more reliable in this scenario." Jag said while looking towards the rest of the crew before continuing to peek outside of the vehicle.
"Guess we freeze them, then. Amy, we'll need your cloaking for the airbase. While we assault the airbase and take out the defenses, that'd give you time to sneak into the base and find the Archive." said Taylor.
Johannes sticks his head down into the APC from the hatch, looking at Amy. "Hey wait how does your cloak work exactly? You said it cloaks things you're holding, if you and I held hands would it cloak me? If so, we could double-team the infiltration! Or at least the freezing of the guards." He clears his helmet's visor so Amy can see his face and grins at her. "Y'know since we are best friends and all now."
Hariim wastes no time in introducing himself to the AI. "Hi, I'm Hariim. You probably already know that. What can you do? I need somebody that can hold a firewall and assist in running ICE programs. Helps if you can also maintain 10^40 proxy connections simultaneously." ---------------------------------------- Bucky checks that she's talking on the right channel. It is the correct one. "F-frosty? What's wrong? You take a hit yourself? I can call up the doc and have her help you when you land." She says with some concern. Damn the fighter, Frosty's life is more important!
"Yup. I can do all that shit. What do you need? And not that I care but why don't you use your own AI to help you? Is it nonfunctional?"
Hariim conveys an image of a man shrugging over the commlink. "SDF doesn't outfit their troops with AI, plus I'd never have been allowed to keep it after the honorable discharge. Don't really need one, but you little machine intelligences are handy when I can find you. If I need to hack in to get at these missiles I could use you as a second pair of eyes and ears, and to help handle the basic mundane stuff for me so I can focus on the high-level hard stuff. S'all I need you for. Oughta be easy-peasy lemon squeezy." He says in a friendly tone. [Going to bed over here. Infab has Hariim and Radley has Bucky. Good night, y'all.]
"Why did you send me the code structure of a joint photographic experts group? I also have neither eyes nor ears. You understand I am only an intelligent self-aware computer program correct?" "Frostbyte stop being a pedantic twat." "Fine."
Amy looked at Johannes. "It's designed to allow infiltrators to carry around objects. I can carry a crate with this thing, but anything above that and the cloack becomes fucked. We'll be rolling dice every couple of minutes in the hopes that the thing doesn't brake down if we go with your idea."
"F-frosty? What's wrong? You take a hit yourself? I can call up the doc and have her help you when you land."
The voice replied again. "I am... fine."

Serious question not just being flirty. Would the field stabilize with more of our suits touching?"
"Maybe? If we can link the power source of your suit to mine. But this is prototype tech, technically it should be locked away in a vault guarded by the Alpha Sisters. Not on my back for the past two years getting tinkered with."
"Doubt it will work. Anyway, get ready, people. Showtime." said Taylor, as she looked out the front to see that the APC was now arriving at the front gate to the missile base. "Hariim, time to get to work. Johannes, get ready in case his hacking fails."
Hariim nods, and says his trademark: "Aff, kommandant." Then, he gets to work. First, he accesses as many local devices as he can and sets up proxies and ghosts on as many as he can manage with the help of Frostbyte. Once that's all set up, Hariim loads his best and most devious viruses, ICE programs, and crackers, and begins to practice his trade with glee. [Roll to hack what needs hackin'. Critical success yields pics of the base CO's daughter?] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Bucky isn't convinced. "Listen, Frosty. Your fighter took a serious hit. Now, I'm no pilot, but I am an engineer. And a fighter with half its wings isn't a fighter for very long. So get back here as soon as possible and land, so that you don't die. Okay?" She says levelly.

MOMENT." snapped the voice. [editline]15th June 2016[/editline] Moloch was watching from below. The acid mist was thick, true, but he had a different way of sensing the world around him. The battle between the pilots went exactly how he was hoping it would, the starfighter which caught his interest had won. And since one of them made the huge mistake of ejecting, he was on the edge of his seat as he knew what Frosty was going to do next. He stepped outside his shuttle as he didn't want to miss a single bit of it.
"Aye Commander. Ready when you are. Tell me when to go."
