János shrugged. "Sure, I guess," he responded.
"All of those weapons are lethal? Are they?"
"The ubiquitous ER-71 Arc-Thower rifle can change it's output to an less than lethal charge. Through most just remove that in their modification to increase it's power to just that of an lighting bolt." Jag replied to the masked soft-carbon, turning back to Taylor.
"Changeable to a lethal charge?" Abrax repeated, he shook his head and leaned his elbow. "Won't do. I'll have to make my own designs." He responded.
"Getting better weaponry through purchasing or other means is encouraged."
"Alright. So buy our own weapons ASAP." she says, nodding. Rather not have your gun jam or break on you mid-shootout. Her previous jobs had her using weaponry issued to her by her employer, so the only thing that was actually hers at the moment was her revolver, which was a sort of keepsake from her years in the SDF.
"Ah, good. I'll need something bigger than a revolver when we see combat."
"I can show around if you would like since I've already cataloged most of it and have been around for an long enough to know the tools of the trade to quite the extent." Jag suggested.
"Splendid, right this way then." Jag said, lifting it's right shoulder towards the exit of the mess hall.
Taylor nods, before stepping over to follow Jag. Hopefully the current loadout in the armory will be decent enough to last till she's able to buy something.

Hopefully the current loadout in the armory will be decent enough to last till she's able to buy something.
Jag begin to walk down the corridor towards the armory with Taylor in tow. "And to answer your question from our previous conversation last night.", Jag said while they we're alone walking in the hallway. "This was my only choice unfortunately."
"And to answer your question from our previous conversation last night.", Jag said while they we're alone walking in the hallway. "This was my only choice unfortunately."
"Ah...guessing something nasty happened, or you owe money to someone." she said, nodding along as they walked. "Understandable."
"Hmm." Abrax said, grabbing his books and notes off the table and rose from the seat, exiting out of the Mess Hall and into the Labs. Parking his coat in a racket and placing his notes. He saw the camera he screwed on near a corner and uplinked it to his holoband, making sure he can see through it once he goes out. He saw the cache of material he had at his disposal and several things in his suitcase, staring at the design he wanted to do.
"Ah...guessing something nasty happened, or you owe money to someone." she said, nodding along as they walked. "Understandable."
"It's...More complicated than that to say the least." Jag said before looking down at grating on the floor of the hallway as it walked next to bulkhead leading to armory.
Amelia finishes her meal, nothing is left on the plate. She puts the tray away for cleaning, then walks out into the hallway towards her room without saying a word. She remembered to check to make sure her homemade weapon was alright, The Weinheart's X-2 Pistol. This semi-automatic pistol is able to shoot two types of ammunition, laser and bullets. She made the gun during her eight years at her college, for fun. It's name comes from Weinheart, for her last name, and X-2, for the second version after the first one blew up in the lab 30 minutes after it was completed. No one was harmed don't worry. She opened one of her suitcases to find the weapon in perfect condition. It's a relatively small gun, although it has quite a long range, due to her modifications. It holds 20 .40 cal bullets and 20 Watson laser charges. She carries ammunition in a satchel she brings with her on fieldwork, 5 magazines for each. "Perfect," she said, "Time to put this thing to the test when we run into trouble!" she carried the gun and the satchel and placed them in a cabinet. After locking the cabinet, she walked back into the hallway and sat down near her door. She took aout a book, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, and continued reading where she left off.
The design he drew out looked simple enough but at a Craftman's point of view was far away from the truth. In reality there were more physical mechanics to the pistol than a regular one. He bought kits and tools and worked with what he got for the time being. Once he settled in on this ship he could make something better. Utilizing the foundation of the pistol, he titled it Annabelle...
"It's...More complicated than that to say the least." Jag said before looking down at grating on the floor of the hallway as it walked next to bulkhead leading to armory.
"Oh...care to talk about it? More than happy to listen." said Taylor, looking up at Jag.
(( hey I'm going to be stuck at movies for around two hours, Infab you control Jag in the mean time being if you want him answer any questions about the guns and stuff. )) Jag did an simple nod before opening the bast door leading to the armory. "i'm here if need any assistance in Choosing your equipment. Freelancer Taylor." [editline]15th February 2016[/editline] (( Sorry for the short notice again, I don't really have a choice. ))
((We should get a tv trope page for this soon, not now, but soon.))

((We already got a wiki page being worked on. TVTropes page which we made during the previous thread got super-cluttered and it became a real pain in the ass to edit in new stuff.))
((I actually decided to move all the Spaceship Crew RP pages on TVTropes to Starpath pages, as you can't rename pages there. It is a bit.... loose at the moment, because of the amount of things that had to be moved around, especially for the timeline and character pages. But, for what it's worth, they are set up now.))
Jag did an simple nod before opening the bast door leading to the armory. "i'm here if need any assistance in choosing your equipment, Freelancer Taylor."
"Alright." she says, as she steps in and begins looking at the weapon racks in the armory. Various firearms rested in them, ranging from SMGs to shotguns to assault rifles. Even a battle rifle or two. She looks them over, then spots a rather familiar rifle on the rack. She walks over and pulls it off the rack. "I've used one of these before. Hmm...this will work." she said, as she examined the weapon. It had some wear, and the paint was chipped in several places. The stock also seemed to be welded into place. Wow, whoever had this weapon before us beat the hell out of it. Still looks like it works fine, though.
Ahaz pours himself a drink and sips it slowly.
When Yuga had finished her cup she decided to return to the bridge. In the corridor she noticed that the chocolate girl had sat herself reading a book. "Wouldn't studying in your quarters give you more concetration?" She asked. Yuga wasn't really sure what making conversation with this girl would contribute but with all her other duties completed for the time being she might as well do something.
(( finished watching the movie, will be Cranking out posts after I get home and on my desktop. So mind the time in between though. )) Jag nodded and looked over at the existing stock of armor. "I suggest choosing some protective body gear. Though the selection at hand is fairly Primitive and basic. There's still the chance it can save your life and when your an freelancer, you want every odd to be in your favor. " Jag stated while shifting its shoulder towards them.

Wish I still had one of those EHES suits. Those things could stop quite a lot." said Taylor, walking over to where the armor was located nearby. She fondly remembered her EHES (Extreme/Hostile Environment Suit), which helped her to survive virtually everything Pyri-II threw at her. She looked over the various armors and gear. There was a set of black, medium armor on the rack. Really just the torso portion, which was scratched up with a dent here and there. She grabbed it and looked it over. Should stop most ballistic pistol and shotgun ammunition, but she'd be fucked when magnum or rifle ammo came into play. That's not even including shit like plasma or energy weaponry. She slipped it on, as well as some light gear for her arms and legs. She found a few pouches she could strap to her belt, to hold magazines for her rifle and extra rounds for her revolver. Finally, a helmet. She needed a helmet. "Got any helmets? Preferably full, self-contained ones."
((thread is moving faster than the speed of thought it would seem, lot seemed to happen, also sidenote: the iRacing membersite has been very slow recently, I can't even sign up for races with it :( )). Owen left the bridge and headed to the bar. Having been relieved from his work from the time being, it was time for a drink. When Owen arrived, he noticed that a bartender he didn't see before was serving drinks. "Hey, bar-man!" Owen said as he raised his hand, "I'll take a root beer on the rocks. Wish I could get some actual beer, but I don't know when I'll be on call next."
Abraxas wiped away the dust and particles he endured after one hour of work. Annabelle was finished, or at least the rough stage was. Abrax grabbed the pistol and observed it with a close eye and saw the darts he made for the gun. In practice the pistol was meant to be a non lethal weapon and had adjusting ranges. The shiny slide was reinforced to support semi auto/auto/burst uses. He planted the gun on the table and observed one of the darts, flicking the top needle with his index finger. Although the dart seemed like it was an ordinary dart it was actually thicker than the naked eye could see and was durable for multiple uses. Once it pierced through the skin it would eject a gas that will knock someone out. Unfortunately one drawback is that the dart couldn't pierce through plated armor. Kevlar maybe, but not advanced armor. Abrax concluded he needed an alternative for enemies that were wearing armor covered from top to bottom.
Finally, a helmet. She needed a helmet. "Got any helmets? Preferably full, self-contained ones."
Jag, again, nodded. "It's the seems that most are either surplus military ware dating past the last century or retrofired engineering EVA helmets with some in between. All of them will prove useful for surviving more hazardous environments and maybe the occasional stray short. Through the EVAs are fully self-contained with close air systems built in while the surplus ones have an better field of vision and a rather basic assisted targeting system. In the end, it's up to preference of either nor." Jag said while looking over the rest of generic equipment. "Also grenades also tend to be useful, no matter the mission." Jag said while turning look over the selection of portable explosives, ranging from mining charges to IEDs within the armory.
[Well shit this took off very quickily, I dont know if I can keep up with this pace being away from my comp all day]

Perfect. She slips it on and checks it out. A HUD appears before her eyes. A lovely green color. She smiles. Still works fine. She'll make tweaks to it later to personalize it, and use it till she can get better armor. She grabs a few grenades, attaching them to places on her belt. Two thermobaric grenades, a traditional frag grenade, and a concussion grenade.

Jag said as it walked towards the right of the room.
Rask paced the bridge nervously. His breakfast had gone cold on the arm of the captain's chair while he and Neasha struggled to determine the best course of action for informing the crew about their predicament. She thanked him for the cocoa before departing momentarily to gather her things, leaving him alone with his thoughts until Vakarus entered the bridge and broke the tension. "Do you require assistance, Rask'atvan?" "I'm gonna to need to make an important announcement," Rask muttered quickly.
Attention, we're entering hostile space right now. Itara is nearby. I need for the mercenaries to gather their weapons and equipment and prepare for a possible firefight. Any other personnel who wish to join the away team, please meet me on the Bridge... what we may have here is a rescue mission.
As Neasha re-entered the room, Rask balled a fist and held it against his forehead. "[You know, I knew she shouldn't have taken that contract,]" he lamented.
Jag signed as it heard the announcement. "Guess we're moving on to plan B already....That's not reassuring." It quietly commented to itself. Jag then quickly locked up the armory while looking over towards Tayor. "Let's go, I'll infrom you about what we're going to face on the way to the bridge if things kept going south." Jag said as it hastily pointed towards the blast door leading towards the bridge.
