Hariim fires a burst of 5 slugs set to airburst at the rocket wielder. He's quite intent on at least knocking that man out, since high explosives going off in the middle of a squad in an enclosed space is never a fun thing to experience. Thanks to his suit and suite of sensors, he keeps up with the rest of his group, and tries to run interference with some light e-war after he fires off his burst. ----------------------------------------------- Bucky scratches her head for a second. "Um, Cap? I'm not good at electronic warfare stuff, I'm just an engineer and entertainer. I can stalk an SO on social media pretty well, but hacking communications isn't my field of expertise.... or experience." Bucky says, quite honestly. And she is right, after all. She knows more about warp theory and practice than communications protocols and digital cloak-and-dagger shenanigans.
Edit: nevermind

Candles were burning, incense was lit. Frosty's body was on the makeshift operating table and Moloch was looming over him. He cleaned his hands with a rag and anti-bacterial gel and got to work. Moloch slid his index finger across Frosty's body, producing a deep incision from shoulder to shoulder, down the abdomen, and across the lumbar region, forming an I shape. He then proceeded to open up the two flaps of skin and muscle, exposing Frosty's innards. The damage done to him was severe, but it was nothing Moloch couldn't fix. Moloch rolled his sleeves back and the palms of his hands began to glow red. The whole healing process would take time, so hopefully there wouldn't be any interruptions. He started off by mending Frosty's broken ribs back together.
After finishing her first set of calculations, Hestia turn to János, walking up to him with her suggestions in hand. "Officer Celofán, may I request that we have Officer Sylvia use her aerial abilities in scouting out an unoccupied route through the area?, Also, with the the fact that you are also an android, you and I could link to begin setting up a quick calculation of possible obstacles? Hestia asked of János, tilting her head sightly to the left.
János turned towards Hestia. "Well, that isn't a bad suggestion, but people might get suspicious seeing something fly in the air, especially after what happened here. And there is always the potential for more rain," he said, while glancing at Sylvia. Her thoughts could persuade him. He then paused, as he tried to figure out what it is Hestia just suggested afterwards. After a few seconds, he replied. "I will be completely honest here; I have no idea what you just suggested. I don't really know much about the hardware and software of my body, nor do I know anything about robotics beyond the very, very basic things, so I'm not even sure if I can do something like that. We can try, though, if you want."
Hestia took a second look at János. "Well..Let me explain Mr. Celofán. 'Linking' is simply a quick term for an virtual interlinking between individual digital consciousness." "It's quite efficient and only takes a second to process countless potential threats and obstacles in a stimulated environment together." "And even with outdated software or hardware, any system capable of providing sapience can do so." Hestia told in a Janos in a fast but understandable matter before reaching to the back of her head with her left hand, pulling out a cable and holding towards Janos. "Would you like to do so, Mr. Celofán?" Hestia asked with cable in hand, "I do not need remind you that time is against us."
((Aw yea son bout to see sum robo-sex))
"I guess we might as well try," János concluded. He grabbed the cable and looked at its connector. After a moment or two, he figured out where his port for something like this is. He had two, incidentally. He pulled his sleeve back on his right arm and opened a little port located just under the hand, with his palm towards him. He slowly put the connector in. "H-Hopefully, this is alright. Begin the linking, Hestia."
"It will be fine, don't worry János." Hestia said in a comforting tone. The screen that made up of the Hestia face turned black for a spit-moment as they both interlinked with one another. Both viewing countless scenarios unfolding around them, every possible outcome that they could both think of was there for them to explore. Hours of simulations experienced and calculated in factions of milliseconds was laid out to them in great detail.

The base's barracks were outside and above ground, as the missile silos were built in such a way as to be easily defended by a small crew. This meant that additional reinforcements would have to be brought in from either end of the tunnel. One of its sides was currently blocked by the remains of the destroyed APC, giving the crew a precious head start as they approached the actual entrance to the launch complex. While they plunged ahead, Hariim took a final moment to fire off another burst at the human peacekeeper, hoping to knock out or incapacitate his foe. CH Estimate: 1/10 Actual: 8 Roll Failed. Hariim: 10 x 1.5 x (No Feat Applicable) = 15 DMG The soldier took the slugs to his armor and was pierced in several places as the air burst helped to penetrate his defenses. He briefly collapsed, but was quickly assisted by one of his comrades. Hariim ceased tracking him as the crew gained enough distance to negate the danger posed by his rocket launcher. The tunnel was a long one, and not long after entering, the acrid smells of the surface disappeared in favor of a crisper air, brought about by ventilation systems. Very quickly, it became safe (and in fact, advisable) for the crewmembers to remove their masks and catch their breath as they hurried into the construct. About a third of the way through the tunnel, they found it. The tunnel widened even further, providing an offshoot for large vehicles to unload onto a cargo dock with its own winched crane, built into the roof. Flatbed electric vehicles were parked along the edge of the platform, to assist with the movement of materials in and out of the base. Beyond, there was a hall which descended into a gradually-tightening passage, inducing a sense of claustrophobia, but more importantly, this sole-entrance was guarded by a machinegun nest with a fully-enclosed front end. Below, force-field generators of an outmoded design were engaged, preventing the crew from simply dashing through, or even getting close to the gun, for that matter. Failing both of these things, a set of heavy security doors were closed, with a biometric scanner providing the only means of entrance. "Fuck" was the only word on anyone's mind. Without hesitation, the machine gun blasted a line through the center of the hall, kicking debris into the air as the crewmembers took refuge on either side of the hallway entrance to prevent being shot at. The force-fields appeared to disengage whenever the gunner pulled the trigger. As they took stock of their own weapons and made sure they were locked and loaded, the Muramasa crew also took a closer look at their surroundings, trying to find an alternative way in. The walls were smooth aside from the occasional light fixture or ventilation shaft. As for the latter, the ducts were far too small to crawl through, defeating any of entering the base through them. --- As the two androids ran through the numerous potential scenarios, the greatest threat frequently encountered came from the second away team encountering State Security, which could potentially be operating on the planet. Sylvia, having fought hard against the kanads on Itara, would be readily identified. If they were to encounter Peacekeepers, Sylvia and János would each be well-suited to talking their way through, but if they were to find kanads, the former would be a liability. After numerous models were tried, the most effective approach to the crash site was determined to be from the west, through a poorly-paved back street which state vehicles were likely to avoid. Given the type and spread of damage caused by the wreck, another potential danger was judged to be the fire itself, which was still raging at that moment. And yet, the safest way to avoid authorities would be to pass through the burning apartment building itself. The away team could not pose as firefighters, but it might be possible for them to cross through the building in such a way as to avoid coming into contact with the actual first responders and then disappear into the buildings beyond. By analyzing the most likely fire-spread patterns, they were able to determine the most suitable strategies the firefighters could employ to control the blaze. This, in turn, meant that there was both a set of safe passages through the building, as well as a set of passages in which the team was unlikely to encounter authorities. János and Hestia determined which passage ranked highest on both lists- this was the best way to approach the wreck site.
"That MG got us pinned good!" Yelled Maddox across the corridor to the other side where Taylor stood. "What's the plan chief? RPG? Murderbot through the vents?"
"What's the plan chief? RPG? Murderbot through the vents?"
Taylor thought for a moment, eyeing the Cerberus drone that had been following Valkyrie around and assisting them. It looked small enough to fit through the vent. The problem was if it could get to the MG nest over there. If it couldn't, they'd have to go the RPG route, but that would mean someone would have to be bait to get the MG to open fire and drop the shield. She went with the less potentially fatal option. "Send the drone through the vent!" she yelled, pointing at the Cerberus drone. Valkyrie nodded in agreement, then began to tear the cover off the nearest vent nearby. "Mad, get that RPG ready in case it can't reach the nest!" she yelled across. Eventually the cover to the vent in the wall was off, and the Cerberus drone crawled inside. "Rip his head off when you get to him!" said Valkyrie after it, with a grin.
Jag quickly scanned it's surroundings as it and the rest of the shrike team entered the blase. The Sanghvi was fairly familiar with Gohva architecture, having participated in several encounters against the Ahra-phi. While their metaphysical abilities proved to very helpful in their Empire's first battles against the Sanghvi Mantle. Jag walked several meters into the complex behind Taylor. Using one of it's appendages to apply a canister of cement from it's belt onto it's cracked outer shell. Meanwhile, it used this moment of claim to dwell onto one of the Mantle's earliest conflicts with an carbon race and the Mantle itself. Though it lasted for only a year, the intense fighting between the Mantle and the Ahra-pha empire was important to the Mantle. It's was through those battles that the Mantle's learned the lessons it needed in the development of it's military force, the Pale Armada. A name coined first coined by the Crowdens but was later used by the various opponents of the Mantle to describe it's vast military might. Through, like the Crowdens and the Hiscans before them, the lessons learned were taught to Jag's during it's upbringing to sapience. These lessons were mostly focused on that planetary shrikes, highly riskily endeavors in a military environment. Even when successful, the loss of life and logistic nightmares could outweighed any gains. This has been proved in many examples throughout interstellar warfare. Through, for the Sanghvi, their countless numbers and mental communication made them unraveled in such affairs. --- But as Jag tossed away the spent can onto the ground, it quickly shifted towards cover next after seeing the turret ahead of them. "Superior Taylor," Jag relayed loudly through the comm channel, "What the order? I've used half of my chaff back there at the gate."
"Copy!" Yelled Maddox in acknowledgement. He kneeled down and unpacked one of the rockets. He readied the RPG launcher and inserted the rocket into the launcher. A loud click could be heard as a safety grabbed onto the rocket, it would remain in a locked position untill fired. "RPG; loaded and ready!"
"Superior Taylor," Jag relayed loudly through the comm channel, "What the order? I've used half of my chaff back there at the gate."
"The Cerberus drone that Valkyrie has is gonna try and get to the nest via the ventilation shaft. If it can't reach the nest, we're gonna hit that nest with an RPG! Someone's gonna have to act as bait or deploy a smoke screen, so that the MG will open fire and drop its shielding!" she replied so that the group could hear her.
"Someone's gonna have to act as bait or deploy a smoke screen, so that the MG will open fire and drop its shielding!"
"Roger." Jag said while having it's implant remotely prime the smoke grenades on the left of it's belt while it quickly look back towards Maddox holding the RPG, Jag started thinking of a plan of action as it gazed over the MG nest. Jag took an moment to judge the distance between it and the nest, wounding the time needed to the deploy an smoke before facing a full barrage of fire from the nest. The Sanghvi then turned to look over it's shoulder towards Johannes, his cyro abilities might be just what Jag needed in it's plan. "Freelancer Johannes," Jag said while towering over the mercenary, "I request that you create an tall plate of ice around size of an medieval shield, I need it while I draw out the Machine gunner's fire and have Maddox neutralize the nest while it's shields are down." While talking towards Johannes, Jag also sent an massage towards Taylor over the comms via implant. "Superior, I could dash in while holding an shield from Johannes and have my implant link with Maddox's visor. Thus if timed right, Maddox would able to take out the nest while it's shields are down."
Markus lifted his mask slightly and caught a whiff of the ventilated air. He tore his mask off and took a deep, satisfied breath, "Fuckin finally, some fresh air!". He hastily stowed the mask away in its pouch and took note of the situation. There was no sufficient cover for him to utilize to take out the MG nest, so he opted to take cover from the MG's line of fire and instead focus on the groups rear, hopefully being able to take out anyone that would be following them. ... Yuga tapped her fingers, her face now more relaxed as things seemed to be getting back under control. Viewing the crew progress through a map generated by Hariim's echo-sonar she could tell that the crew was making it's way underground and that the gate was partially blocked by the destroyed APC. Her main concern wasn't that the crew would be able to destroy the AOPN, but rather that they would face a much more difficult task getting out of the base. She turned her head towards Bucky, "If this is the case, you are dismissed. If you have any suggestions on how to contribute I wish ti hear them immediately." She opened up comms to Hariim, "Mr.M'baal. If you are capable I would advise you to attempt to disrupt the base's call for reinforcements. The longer this operation remains obscured from the black fleet the better." She switched comms to Janos, "Mr.Celofan, I hope I need not remind you that time is of the essence. If you delay for a considerable amount of time we may be forced to depart without you."
After finding and detailing the best possible route, Hestia imminently disconnected from interlinking. Her cord rolling back to the rear of her head and head's screen resuming a low, orange hue. The process only took about 7 seconds, a tad longer then usual for Hestia. Mostly due to János's rather unconventional systems that Hestia wasn't used to operating with. "Alright then," Hestia said while gesturing with her left hand towards the direction of burning building,"Officer Celofán, lead the way."
After Hestia disconnected herself and retrieved her cord, János first shuttered a little. That was much different from usual. Soon after, however, he turned towards the wreck site.
"Officer Celofán, lead the way."
He sighed after hearing that. "I guess we're going that way then. Follow me, everyone."
Johannes nods. "Hold your arm out, Jag. Can your armor withstand sub-zero temperatures? The metal-ice causes frostbite very quickly on unprotected flesh."
Hariim finds a solid spot to hunker down where he'll be secure while he works. "Roger that, Captain. I'll do what I can for you; but I'm in combat. Juggling systems while dodging bullets won't be easy!" He begins working on jamming enemy comms when he hears Johanne's and Jag's crazy plan. "Guys! Wait! Lemme see if I can hack into their network. If they've got a remote setup on that generator, then I can get in and shut it off safely from here. No need to actually run into a wall of lead." Hariim accesses his implanted e-war systems, all connected to the quantum qubit computer system his surviving brain matter has been turned into. Using this, he's able to escape the classical bottleneck faced by transistor systems, and multitask like nobody else for parsecs around. He tackles both problems at once, waylaying the enemy communications systems with every virus, worm, and self-perpetuating DOS bug he's got while slipping his sinister technological tendrils into the enemy tactical network in search of the controls for the field generator. [Roll to ascend to h4x0r godhood.] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bucky, in the meantime, just shrugs and eyes the Muramasa's status boards. "Well... If we can set up a secure connection to Hariim, he'd have the Muramasa's computer systems to help him do what he needs to do. If his team is in combat, then he'll need all the help he can get with maintaining all those tasks and runtimes."
"Don't forget to use Frostbyte, gearhead." Yeah. Don't forget me. I'm still bored.
Hariim opens up a port for Frostbyte to connect through so he can help if he wants.
Frostbyte does, and leds his computational power to Hariim.
