"Wow I didn't know I had to be a professor in Sociology to teach basic communication skills. I guess we really do live in a shitty uncivilized Galaxy. My point being that treating people like shit and tools isn't going to give you respect. You might need it one day."
(Abraxas 1 Yuga 0) ... After seeing Valk, Abraxas did the best from this tragedy. He turned to Amy after an hour watching Valk. He called this Melody over and began to see if Amy had the consistent o2 supply as needed from a severe burns across her body.
"With Yuga giving us the cold shoulder the squad is going to need someone who cares for them to lead. Someone they can trust no matter what. That's you."

"Weaponsmith Maddox is correct, an team's leader giving into one's own doubt is an far greater enemy then any the team may face on the battlefield."
"...Yeah, I know. You can count on me, guys. I'll give it my all till the end." said Taylor, nodding a bit. Then she noticed noticed Johannes step up. She looked up at him as he saluted, extended his hand, and said his peace.
"Aanvoerder. I know I have only been a member of your crew for a few days, but the kinship is palpable. I haven't had a family, comrades, in so long, but I remember the feeling of loss when they are taken from you. I am immeasurably sorry for the loss of your sisters in arms. I will pray for Abraxas' skill to revive them and bring them back to us. And I must apologize for my failure in the chasm. I feel responsible in part for what happened. I did not spend the effort to make the vapor cloud larger, if I had perhaps Valkyrie would not have been targeted. I also deeply regret my failure to avenge her, the damned Kanad responsible evaded my attack, and got away from me after the explosion."
Taylor paused for a brief moment, then reached up. She grabbed his hand, and shook it. "I've got a feeling we'll see that Kanad again. You can get your vengeance then." She finally sighed and sat back, releasing his hand. "...Rest and heal up, guys. We'll come up with a plan in the morning, and then head back in." she said, as she removed her helmet again. Her short, brunette hair was ruffled up, partially wet from sweat in the heat of combat. Her eyes bore a bit of tired look, as she glanced over once more to Abraxas as he worked on Valk and Amy.
Johannes smiles at Taylor, a genuine expression from the Dutchman. He reaches into the neck of his armor, fiddles with something for a second, and then pulls his hand out, pressing a small piece of metal into Taylor's hand. A dog tag. One of a pair. Worn and scratched but not tarnished. On one side, the expected information. van der Meijde, Johannes 193cm, 95kg O-Negative Haaksbergen Koninklijke Marine Korps Mariniers 23rd Airborn Raiding Squadron On the back, an emblem. "Our vengeance, Mijn Aanvoerder." ((Achievement Unlocked: Unwavering Loyalty))
Abraxas stared at Amy, one of the most difficult things in a patient he had to stay away from was burning victims. Being mindful of the cause of injury is critical, an explosion no different from Valk herself. See, if the victim was burned on the outside then the chances of getting burned on the inside increased as well. If swollen can happen on the outside then so can it happen on the inside. Anxiety, fear and hypoxia is a huge possibility. ABC: airway, breathing and circulation is extremely important in this case. He made sure to apply a breathing machine, wiping off the excessive dried blood and managed respiratory carefully. Pain was the worst of it, incorporating a special type of anesthesia to help with the oozing pain wounds. 5-10 mg of IV morphine every 5 minutes. 'Intubate the burned patient.' Abraxas reminded himself, repeated in a mantra. He applied several paralytics to assist the intubation, they should help out the intubation process in order to be successful other wise he may have to give it another go at it again. Now the matter of establishing a IV line is most certainty Where? Obviously any non burned area but the problem is... there is no area. However it can be placed, he just needed to be careful. Abraxas wrapped a roll of gauze around the IV site to hold, injecting the line to her large veins. Now was the matter of infection. After taking off parts of the armor Abraxas applied burn dressings all around Amy's body, not too much but not too little either. He removed any jewelry in plain sight, setting it aside on a nearby table and performing on the patient, using intravenous fluids administered with a fluid warmer to prevent hypothermia. Abraxas gave a fade sigh, managing aggressive pain management and initiate fluid resuscitation. The Malmarian wrapped her torso around, figuring out a way to deal with burn trauma. Abraxas grabbed his Human Remedy, grabbing a long lengthy syringe and, some of the contents glowing. He applied it near her right wrist, punctured through her vein, injecting the speical contents to the scout. Abraxas stared, seeing the monitor run at a consistent pace. His hands trembled, looking back at history, breathing deeply inside. He checked his surroundings until the situation slowly faded away. Abraxas clenched his hands into fists, slowly nodding. He finally exhaled a load of relief.
Jag let out an deep, slow gasp from it's neck. It's body both sore from both the intense fighting and wight of the planet's gravity. The planet's harsh atmosphere didn't help the matter either. Through it's body was not at risk of any further injuries or complications of note. The physical stress the Sanghvi would be suffering would be quite painful nonetheless. As such, Jag begin to look towards it's implant and found an fairly secluded spot within the vessel's hull. Jag knew many ways of repressing and out right easing the demands of the body through the acknowledgment of one's inner self. However, Jag believed that Taylor was still weary with inner doubt at the outcome of the situation. After claimlly breathing in through it's neck, Jag begin slowly walking towards Taylor. She stood anxiously watching Abraxas and other doctor work on Amy and Valkyrie. The Sanghvi's thermal eyes could spot the minuscule shifts in body heat. "Superior Taylor," Jag said quietly, making sure to not take the tired officer off guard. "I'll begin what you soft-carbon's would call 'meditation'. Would you care to join me?"
(( lets all gather around yuga and make angry noises at her until she bleeds ))

Better idea, let's all gather around her and furiously emote in ways her race can't, such as nostril flaring and eyebrow wiggling. She'll soon get jealous and leave.
[Stop the bullying 2385] Amy was out of it. It was obvious that she would be out of the fight for a long time. Chances of her comming back to the world of the awake soon weren't high. All she could do now was dream until she regaines consciousness. 2383 "Remind me again. Why did we come to this planet?" Amy asked as she was looking at the gathering of mercs in front of her. "No, actually don't. Let me guess. We came here to freeze our collective ass off. No, wait. We came here because there is a VIP in need of assassination so we can get them and leave. Its what we do, right?" "You're getting really close to hitting a nerve there. Might wanna stay quiet while she hasn't noticed you yet." Amy didn't listen to the warning from her comrade. "Oh, oh! I figured it out. We are here to hunt bugs! Giant bugs that spit acid. We've done this type of work so many times it's even part of our MO now. We are here for that. Yes sir. And not because someone has a hard time accepting that her ex left her, because she is a psycho bitch and is now stalking him for some insane reason!" That last part caused her commander to turn around and face her. The only responce she recieved from the woman was a chuckle and a motion to remain quiet. "I don't know if sister Sasha is angry at you or doesn't care." Amy looked at her sister in arms and then back at her commander. She had a verry worried look on her face. "Presilla, please. Listen. She's talking to him via comms. She can't even get the stalking part right. Now he knows she's here and we are sworn to protect her psychotic ass. Its a nice ass, don't get me wrong, but I'm not dying over it. Right now he probably is rounding up his friends and comming this way to start a shootout. Presi, be a dear and put your gun right next to my head should the worst thing happen. I'd rather die by you rather than some mutant motherfucker." Presilla laughed at that last request. "Ok, 2 things. You need to calm down with the dramatics. Even if you were doing them to be funny. Doesn't fit you. And two, the guy is in exile from his own people. He can't call on anyone. Sasha told me so herself." "And how would she know? Oh, right. Why do I even bother asking?" "Relax a bit. This is gonna be a simple tracking job for Sasha. We've done five of these already. And she pays good." "I guess. But it's getting annoying touring around the galaxy because she can't let her boyfriend go." Presila put her hand on Amy's shoulder. "Be honest with me. Would you let me go?" "I hate you sometimes." "Heh. And that is the same reason you love me. Come on, looks like the crews are moving out." A few hours later. "Koronova, report!" Sasha's voice could be heard echoing throughout the cavern. 'Any sign of the queen?" Amy's face was covered with dirt and drops of alien blood, which did a poor job of masking her anger. "No, ma'am! There is no sign of the queen. There is also no sign of your husband either." "Watch your tone, girl! Your scouting and infiltration skills may be expeptional, but don't make you irreplaceable." "Forgive me if I am not happy that we lost half out squad because we ran into alien bugs! All because you continue on this stupid chase, why don't the both of you save us all the trouble and just shoot each other?" Sasha walked closer to Amy and looke her straigh in the eyes. "I told you to watch your tone with me. I get why you're angry. Your lover was among the dead, but don't think for a second to blame me. Blame the man we're chasing. He started this whole thing with 5 deahs. 5 dead sisters. Yours and mine. And that number will only get higher untill I get what I want. His head on a plate. Remember that. Now, pull yourself together and get to the ship. We're leaving." "Yes maám." Amy was still furious. She wanted to snap Sahsa's neck. It didn't matter what excuses she had made in her head, she was reponcible for Presilla's death. But the only thing she could do right now was return to base and mourn. --- Alex met up with Vakarus after getting a message to help. "Can you fill me in on why we are moving Frosty's things around?"
Vakarus looked at Alex. "Alex'vakrin, it would appear that a unknown force is in possession of our fallen comrade. We hope to have a more relaxed dialogue with the thing soon."
"You realize that I was in the kitchen the entire time this mission has been going on and I have no clue as to what happened. What happened exactly?"
Taylor looked Johannes' dog tag over, inspecting it. "A metal one? You usually only see these in museums now...everyone switched over to holotags a few years back."
"Superior Taylor," Jag said quietly, making sure to not take the tired officer off guard. "I'll begin what you soft-carbon's would call 'meditation'. Would you care to join me?"
Taylor looked over, and nodded. "Might help, I guess. Let me get out of this armor first." she says, before she starts to take the EHES suit off. She'd have to buff out the scratches and such later, but so far its worked wonderfully. As she removed it piece by piece, she set it in a pile next to her LMG. Finally, she stood before Jag in her cargo pants and black muscle shirt.
"Remember, I've been frozen a long time. It's yours. A token of loyalty, ma'am. I'll leave you to your machinations now." Johannes smiles briefly at Taylor and salutes her, before going back to where he'd been sitting and resuming his prayer.
"You realize that I was in the kitchen the entire time this mission has been going on and I have no clue as to what happened. What happened exactly?"
Vakarus widened his eyes. "Forgive me, I forgot. What I know so far is that the ground team were forced to retreat from battle. Two warriors were reported as casualties, whom I do not yet know. The Frozen-one, or as you call him; "Frosty", was engaged and we lost contact with his vessel. It would appear that he was shot down. Now it seems as if someone has stolen his body and is conducting... heresy... on it."
A chill went down Alex's spine when he heard about the casualties. He quickly shook off the feeling to concentrate on the task on hand. "Heresy? Creed?"
"No, something else. A man with a mask. He started to desecrate the Frozen-one while chanting in a language unknown to me."
After doing sweet FA in his own room where he has been next to useless this entire time, Porter opens the door and walks down to the bridge. He meets Vakarus and Alex. He overheard "Heresy? Creed?" before walking in. "What's this about religion?" he asks, standing as tall as ever.

"If it's not the Creed it's something else isn't it?" Alex took a sigh and looked at Vakarus. "Alright. What do we have to do?"
((Oh no you've angered the holy man! "Greetings Metal-one, I am pleased to see that you have fully recovered." He turned to Alex. "I do not have the answer for that, Yuga'atavan asked me to recover the Frozen-ones' belongings and that is what I have done. Follow me." With that he went for the bridge. ----- Maddox eyed Johannes suspiciously as he began praying in the corner. While not from Sol, most of the neighbouring worlds who were members of Sol's auxiliary military coalition enforced the same tough laws against religion.
Vakarus bowed his head towards Porter. "Greetings Metal-one, I am pleased to see that you have fully recovered."
"Thanks," he replies and follows Vakarus, "And please don't call me Metal-one." "So again, what's happened so far?" he asks again.

Jag gave Taylor a quick nod after she walk next towards the Sanghvi. "Very well," Jag said calmly, our destination is within the engineering department of the vessel, Superior Taylor." Jag then gently rose it's left arm, making an gesture towards an hallway leading out of the hanger towards her. "My Implant has already linked into the vessel's minor systems, we should not be disturbed in our meditation."
