"Speak. I am turned to listen." spoke Moloch as he began to land the shuttle a walking distance away from the Muramasa.
"I'm sure you can't hold a promise like this, with all this secrecy surrounding yourself and Frosty, but after you get him fixed up and all, can you promise us that you'll contact us after he's all good? We'd love to know how he is and such," János asked in the nicest tone he could.
"Perhaps I will. This all largely depends if Frosty wishes, however."
"Of course," János said with a chuckle. He looked at the Muramasa, as Moloch was landing the ship. He just hoped everything would go hunky dory.
"Hey, hey, hey! Nice to see you all back," Amelia says into the radio as they land, "What took so long?" she asks.
János responds with his communicator. "We got held up a little on our way to Frosty, and despite everyone's objections, I went with a diplomatic route instead," he responded. "Get the strongbox ready. I'm coming to pick it up."
Once the shuttle landed, Moloch relaxed in his seat and began to take rips from his hookah. "Care for a smoke, Mr. János?"
"Oh good, so no blood, yippie!" a little break in between the next line, "So... um... strongbox? I totally forgot everything just been playing games on my phone since I've been sitting here for hours waiting for frostybitey."
"I have no lungs," János said bluntly. "I would find no enjoyment. Thanks for the offer though," he said with an awkward smile. "Can I at least have one of my pistols with me, in case something happens on my way to the ship?"
"You are under my protection, Mr. János. Should anything happen to you, I will ensure it does not. You may have your weapons back once the strongbox is in my possession."
"Thanks for the assurance, buddy," János replied. He sighed for a moment, before opening the door and heading towards the Muramasa. Replying to Amelia; "The strongbox with Frosty's stuff in it. We agreed to hand it over to the man with Frosty, so that he can take him back to his people and get him properly healed up."
"He is already healed!" yelled Moloch still within his shuttle.
"Well, he is actually already healed, but he needs to be brought back to his people, to figure out his amnesia," János added, awkwardly hearing Moloch yell out of his ship.
Hestia followed behind Janos cautiously, unsure of what to make of Moloch. She watch him closely, keeping to her self while they all walked towards the Muramasa. Through despite his appearance, she believed that it Yuga who would be the offender in this complicated Affair.

We agreed to hand it over to the man with Frosty, so that he can take him back to his people and get him properly healed up."
"Okie dokie," she mutes the mic and yells across the ship, "YO PORTER GET FROSTY'S STRONGBOX" Porter sends a text, "Please don't scream across the ship. I'll get on it. And do not say 'yo'."
"He is already healed!" yelled Moloch still within his shuttle
Question marks appear over Amelia's forehead.
"Well, he is actually already healed, but he needs to be brought back to his people, to figure out his amnesia," János added, awkwardly hearing Moloch yell out of his ship.
She unmutes the mic "So... no looking at his body?" Amelia pouts in her chair.
János didn't really notice that the rest of the group was following him. However, he hoped that the others supported him when it came to letting Frosty go. "Yup, no looking. He was properly surgically fixed up by the man, Moloch, he's called. Looks intimidating, but he's a nice guy. Sorta like myself," he replied to Amelia, unaware of Moloch's true nature.

I could have been playing my new game, but nooooo I just do nothin' now." Amelia responds. Porter holds the strong box, standing at the door ramp, waiting for the order.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but this is for the better," János replied. ((I feel as though we should pause this subplot for now, and wait for everyone relevant to it to be awake.))
"Click!" Is what she started with. A little sound at the center of her mind, and then the world greeted her with a beige-colored ceiling behind a thick plastic screen. Though she'd only been in existence for approximately 5-millionths of a second she knew where she was, and what she was inside. A casket. Her casket to be precise; one built approximately 22 months 2 weeks 2 days and 1 hour ago. Her physical body was made at the same time. That was all very interesting, but irrelevant for the moment. She was being delivered, to where she also knew. A service establishment called Proxy-C Intimate Services and Entertainment. Cool. Full information on her make, model, and designed intention all flow through her conscious mind over the next 3-millionths of a second. A quick listing of her rights under the Artificial Sentience Consideration Act, and her first decision! With the full knowledge of what she is and what's required of her, she is presented with the question of whether or not she wants to exist. Deciding not to carries with it very little weight. There'd be no pain. Her brain would just self-wipe and reboot to recreate the necessary requirements to spawn a consciousness, and that one would get the same deal and choices. That deal being: "Provide the services you were purchased to perform until you make back quadruple your initial purchase price, and you are permitted the decision of what you want after that." And the initial choice of: "If you agree to these terms, you may continue your existence as a Recognized Artificial Sentient. If not, you may choose to end your existence." Simple enough. To the point, kinda fair. So Bucky agrees to the terms, and the plastic slides off her casket. Her education begins as the plastic moves, she's connected to the Net. A panoply of information is dumped into her mind, and she gets another decision. She gets to choose where she wants to begin to learn. She starts with the basic package on mathematics. By the time she's done with that, and history, and psychology the plastic screen has fully retracted; leaving the path out of her casket open. She moves her left leg first, and then her right. And with that, she grips the sides of the casket and heaves herself out of it. For the hell of it she decides to indulge the nerdy techs overseeing her birth, and says to them: "Hello world!" With a cheeky smile.
Taylor finally managed to settle down and meditate, after the noise coming from the coolant station died down. Slow, deep breaths, and with a clear mind, she finally achieved the state that she was seeking. ....

Months earlier...
"VALKYRIE, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!?" barked Taylor into her comms, having to yell over the sound of her HMG's gunfire. "QUIT YOUR BITCHING! I'M COMING, YOU FUCKIN' CUNT." barked Valkyrie back. Taylor was pissed. The whole operation was a fuck-up, and Valkyrie's drones were the cause. They were supposed to watch the perimeter, but instead shut down for routine maintenance. Right in the middle of an assault by the local lifeforms. They breached the perimeter, killed the civilians on the ground, and were now working on taking down the mercenaries hired to defend the location. Taylor, Valkyrie, and the crew that had been deployed with them. "EVAC IS COMING, HURRY THE FUCK UP!" she yelled, before seeing Valkyrie's large combat mech crest a ridge nearby. Being chased by the locals. "Franz! Detonate line C-8 NOW!" ordered Taylor. The human nearby, a young Austrian combat engineer, picked up a large detonator marked 'C-8', and pumped the trigger on it. A line of explosions lit up the ridge behind Valkyrie. Well, at least ONE thing Valkyrie had made seemed to work. The fucking explosives. "Alright! Nice work! Prep 'C-6' and 'C-4!'" she ordered, giving Franz a thumbs up. Franz acknowledged the order, and picked up the other two detonators sitting next to where 'C-8's had been. Valkyrie's combat mech picked up the pace, its legs extending in long strides as it bolted across the desert landscape. Only the cockpit and the headlights on the front were visible in the darkness that enveloped most of the planet. The explosions had held back the creatures chasing her for a few moments, but they charged through the smoke seconds later. Attempting to catch her. "Bravo team! Respond!" said Taylor, talking into her comms. Nothing but static. "Bravo team is fucked! Charlie too!" said Valkyrie in response. "FUCK!" blurted out Taylor, before lifting her machine gun back up. Valk cleared line 'C-6', and Franz detonated the explosives that had been set there. Massive explosions followed, then Valkyrie spoke up again. "Evac's inbound! Two clicks out! I'm coming in hot!" she sounded off, as her combat mech hit its maximum operating speed. She was easily running about thirty-five miles an hour. Taylor watched her pass the next line, then signaled to Franz. 'C-4' is detonated, sending the final line up in large balls of fire. "Franz! Defensive position! Now!" said Taylor, moving him back next to some crates with her off hand. He did as he was told, moving back and slipping behind the large titanium crates. Taylor would be safer in her EHE suit. She'd have to defend him, though, as he was use basic body armor given to him by their employer. Cheap shit. "INCOMING!" yelled Valkyrie, as the mech vaulted and landed in the middle of the small camp that they had established at the landing zone. A small crater was made, due to the heavy weight of the combat mech. She spun around in the mech, and immediately opened fire on the wave of incoming creatures, who were a couple of hundred yards away and closing quickly. Taylor followed suit, opening up with the large machine gun in her hands. She could see the evac ship in the distance, rapidly approaching their position. Hopefully it'd arrive before they got swarmed. .... Taylor's eyes snapped open. Thankfully. That was a memory she didn't want to finish reliving. She sighed, then glanced over in Jag's direction.
Vakarus appeared next to Porter, strongbox in hand. He chuckled at Porter who was holding nothing. "Are you under too much stress, Tall-one?" ((Vakarus has been carrying the strongbox since two pages back.))
(( Whoopsies sorry for taking the imaginary box I completely missed that )) Porter looks down, pauses for five seconds, then looks back to Vakarus, realizing his mistake, "I'm getting too old for this..." he mutters.
Alex followed Vakarus as he was carrying the strongbox. He chuckeled at Porter's remark. "Never too old for this outfit, big guy."
((Sega where u at holmes?))
((Updates will resume tonight. I was busy yesterday, and because of all the sleep I've been missing handling things in Discord with the players from this RP, I had to get myself turned around by going to bed early last night and waking up at a normal hour today. I'm supposed to go see the new Star Trek with my father today in the afternoon and I will write an update when I get back.))
Istasha straightens up the supply locker in the engineering room and leaves, waving goodbye to Jag and Taylor with a smile. "Hope to see more of you guys later!" She leaves the room and goes back into the ship's main corridor, her face once again buried in the datapad. As she makes notes and submits the work order as 'complete' for the coolant system maintenance she walks absentmindedly into the medical bay. "Okay, let's see. Run diagnostics on all medical computers and paired scanners, run weekly sterilization of the medicinal fabricator, and repair surgery bed 03, possible electrical short." She starts making notes. On the other side of the room, Johannes opens his eyes, having drifted into a light sleep sitting with his back against one of the walls waiting for news on Amy and Valkyrie. He was woken up by someone talking, but the voice sounded awfully familiar. He looks up and around and his eyes land on Istasha. "...Ish? Is that you?" Istasha jumps, startled for the second time today. She scowls at being startled again and looks around, only people from her previous crew ever called her Ish... and then she spots Johannes who has already stood up. She gasps and puts her data pad away, running over and hugging him, definitely too hard, dwarfing the poor man in the process. "Johan! I haven't seen you in YEARS! Sun be praised, how are you doing? You look good!" Johannes chuckles and hugs Istasha back, taking a step back when she lets go. He has to crane his neck at this distance to look up at her face, being a foot shorter. She's all grins, bouncing happily on the balls of her feet. "I'm doing alright. Signed on with the Muramasa earlier this week on a revolving contract. We just lost two of our own on a mission though... hoping our doctor can bring them back. But what about you? What are you doing on the Cataract? I thought you were still on the Hephaestus with Hortak and Valaur?" Istasha frowns when Johannes mentions his downed crewmembers and reaches out to put a hand on his shoulder as a sign of support. When he mentions Hortak and Valaur, she shrugs. "I wanted to try something different. Besides, Hortak kept expanding the crew. When I left we had just around a hundred crew members. The pay was good, don't get me wrong, but it didn't feel like a family anymore. Especially not after my favorite human left." She grins at Johannes, who actually blushes just the tiniest bit. They sit down together on one of the empty medical beds and chat for a while, catching up.
Yuga viewed the camerafeeds of the ship and could see Moloch's ship outside, as well as Vakarus, Porter and Alex discussing in the corridor. She activated the intercom in the corridor, "Va'un, please bring the strongbox to the bridge and bring your entourage with you." She then contacted Janos on his channel, "Would you kindly inform your new acquaintance that he needs to sign a covenant to assume custody of Frosty's belongings and his remains. He will find me and the strongbox at the bridge. Seeing as he is employed by our company I must make certain arrangements to see that everything is in order."
Vakarus nodded. "Undertsood Yuga'atvan." The group made its way for the bridge and upon entering, positioned themselves around the holomap at the center of the room with Vakarus standing tall next to Yuga.
János grew nervous with Yuga's request to sign a covenant, but complied nevertheless. He sent a message to Moloch: "Our captain is requesting that you sign a covenant to assume custody of Frosty's belongings and his remains, and that you come to our bridge to sign it. She won't let you have the strongbox otherwise." He then sent a message to Yuga: "If you don't mind me asking, has Frosty signed anything, confirming that he was employed, or was it just a verbal agreement?"
Moloch stood up from his seat and replied to János from Frosty's radio. Seeing as how he had to come onboard the Muramasa, he stuffed his sawn-off in his coat and grabbed his walking stick before putting on his gasmask and pulling up his hood. "Only if you escort me, Mr. János. I trust you but not your captain."
