Johannes gladly accepts the clothes, though he pauses at the shorts. "Odd. I don't remember packing these. Or buying any for that matter. Maybe I stole them and forgot." He shrugs and starts removing the interlocking pieces of his under-armor, then peeling off the black skin-tight suit it was all mounted to. Under that, he's wearing a grey fitted tank top and what are essentially boxer briefs. He pulls the shorts on, then slips the PT shirt on over his tank top. While he's changing, he speaks to Bucky to answer her question. "Not too sure. Abraxas is done operating on them, but I think he said they're neither stable or awake. I'm hoping they recover speedily." He looks hard at Bucky for a few moments, then smiles. "I don't think we've met yet. Are you one of the engineers?"
Yuga inspected the datapad. His signature didn't match any language she had ever seen, but seeing as it was a signature none the less she put the pad away. She lifted her hat to sweep back her hair whilst squinting at Moloch, "Unfortunately I can not let you leave. We have enough video evidence and recordings to pin you as a fanatic. I can not let such heretic practices remain alive and well in this part of the galaxy." She waved her hand to Alex and Vakaurs, "Seize him."
((And there it is))
Yuga was seriously plummeting the depths of Moloch's patience, but push hadn't come to shove just yet for him. At least, they hadn't put their unclean hands on him. "Think again if you think I'm going to let your crew apprehend me." Moloch then lifted Frosty's strongbox over his shoulder. "I did what you asked. I signed the document and I am leaving with Frosty's possessions as well as his body. This was our agreement, and that is how it will be done. Goodbye, captain. Mr. János, follow me."
Vakarus sprung to action and entered a combat stance with his staff. His psionic powers came to life, making his eyes glow bright blue whilst also supercharging the crystals on the staff. He blocked the only exit from the bridge. "Stop kniz!" Having called Moloch "scum" in his own tongue, Vakarus would have challenged Moloch to a duel had he been a Vakr.
Alex, you need to go get a respirator and head over to the Cataract ASAP. It's your sister.
"What about her?"
Seize him.
"What? Heresy? What? That's none of our buisiness."
Maddox's eyes darted across the room and he slowly disabled the safety on his rifle. "Captain are you sure this is the right move?" He looked at Alex. "She was critically wounded. Abrax is with her now and the odds are good, still, you should go see her."
"Stop kniz!"
Moloch tried to squeeze himself through Vakarus. "Out of my way,خر آبی[blue donkey]! I have no quarrel with you!"
Vakarus simply slammed the bottom of his staff and, to Moloch's surprise, caused the masked man to glide a couple of meters backwards while still on his feet. "Kharat avoun ker Vakr!" None shall pass the Vakr!
Hestia slowly walked towards Yuga side when she and the rest of the crew following Moloch entered the room, standing cautiously beside her. After she begin to turn on Moloch, Hestia learn closer to Yuga's left. "Captain, this course of action will most indefinitely lead to violence. Highly unnecessary in my observation, mam. Moloch has been, while strange, cooperative so far. Surely, It is in our best interest to secure Crew member Frosty without such recklessness." Hestia said worriedly to her commanding officer, holding her arms behind her back.
Yuga turned towards Hestia, "This man shows up from thin air and know Frosty. He is going to take him back to his people, undoubtedly a mongrel throng of heretic such as himself. Forsty showed himself to be a compassionate individual and I will not stand idly by as he has his mind defiled by these heretics. And the fact that he is unwilling to dispose of any information to us makes me suspicious that whatever they are planning it is a better alternative for us to apprehend him." She turned towards Moloch, "As you have been evasive with details regarding your purpose with our employees remains it is imperative you remain here until you are ready to divulge such information." She looked up towards Maddox, "Mr Graves, I have reason to believe this individual is a practitioner of some sort of religion resembling those of terran origin. We have substantial evidence to support such claims. For now I require only of you to do your job and place this man under temporary arrest."
This was it. The stick that broke the camel's back. A loud thud echoed throughout the bridge as Moloch let go of the strongbox, letting it hit the floor. He wasn't allowed to retrieve the body of his friend. He wasn't allowed to leave with his possessions. The captain repaid his politeness with insults and mockery. And now the crew was ordered to seize him. A red glow shone underneath his hood, and smoke began to seep out of from underneath his tunic. His feet also appeared to be levitating just the ground. He hoped to avoid violence, but if this was the way the crew wanted to act, then he had no other choice but to force them to witness the power of the Artisynth Sorcerers. "Heretic, Zealot, Fanatic... these names you call me and yet am I not simply a GUEST on board your vessel!? I arrived here, to cooperate as instructed so I may have possession of Frosty and his belongings! I came here so I may sign the contract in order for me to take him back home to his people! I did NOT come here to be insulted and berated by this POLISHED BAND OF RAIDERS! I cannot believe this is the crew MY OWN BROTHER had surrounded himself with! I will not let you people use and mistreat him any longer!" If one observed closely, they would notice flames sparking in the palms of his hands.
Vakarus remained steadfast while Maddox glanced at Yuga nervously while holding his rifle ready.
Alex took a deep sigh. "You are by far the worst." Yuga may have been acting like a Creed inquisitor, but the stranger wasn't making anything better. "So, what are the chances of everyone calming the hell down and not wasting anymore crew lives?"
Meanwhile Abraxas checked the time on his watch, grabbing a soda of Icy Fizz and eating a package of Twinkle Star Ice Cream Deluxe, watching his two patients. He stared at the two even though they were stable all this time and as he simply just fucked around with people asking him questions. [editline]25th July 2016[/editline] He sighed at the sight, turning to a corner near the Medbay. He had to call someone, someone important. He left the food for the patients, dusting himself off. He dialed the holoband contact. "Hello?" Abraxas broke the silence.
Hestia took a few steps toward the center of the room, staring at Yuga for a moment before glancing at Moloch. She readied the medical equipment built within her forearms after seeing flames sparking from under his hands. She then look over her shoulder towards Yuga. "Please Captain, we've already suffered severe casualties on the ground mission, we don't need anymore on the brig as well." Hesita stated calmly to Yuga.
((I said when everyone relevant was awake! Lordy, did you guys prematurely start this.)) [editline]25th July 2016[/editline] János couldn't handle how quickly things were escalating. He attempted to speak, but he had no chance. Moloch was about to do something he was going to regret, he had to jump in. "Moloch, please stop!" as he was preparing to lay down some truth. "This man saved Frosty's life, preventing him from dying in the first place! Despite not having much equipment, he properly and surgically patched him up, with the only thing left being him waking up. "We are also outside of Sol space. We have no reason nor right to arrest him for 'heresy'. And, considering he and Frosty share the same symbol, would it not be reasonable to say that Frosty was a so called 'heretic' as well? Do we have to arrest him too?! How do we even know if he is human? He could just be one of the many human-resembling species in this vast galaxy! "Together with this, I disagree with the notion that a spoken agreement is as binding as a written one. Any court would agree with this. Any payments Frosty has received can be described as freelancing work. As such, there is no need to sign a contract. "And do we really want to risk any more lives, doing something as asinine as this? Capturing a man who saved a life just for some praying outside of Sol space?! Does Sol have to arrest every single religious human outside of its borders, innocent people who have to intent of ever returning to their space? "And Vakarus, what would Frosty's ancestors think? Would they not want a fellow brother of his to bring him back to his people, to see what can be done over his amnesia? "In my eyes, this man is a hero, saving his blood brother from a burning starfighter, and only wishing to heal him of his amnesia. I refuse to risk any more lives! I refuse to let this man be arrested!" He stood between Moloch and Vakarus.
Hesita walked a bit closer towards janos, maintaining eye sight with Yuga. "Captain, while I do not completely agree with Janos. It is best that we let us discuss the matter at hand with Mr. Moloch civilly rather then through force."
Alex had gotten hesitant and now János was standing between Vakarus and Moloch. If he was going to choose a side in this, it was time to do that. He couldn't afford to waste any more time, for the sake of the last remainder of family he cared about. He took a few steps forward and stood next to János. "Vakarus, put the spear down. If you don't trust anyone else, you can trust me in this. This is not the way to do things, not in this company. Remember the last time we acted without knowing the full story? Because I do. And so does the boss. You too Maddox, pointing that gun only makes things worse for everyone. Accusations of heresy already tore half of human space into an unlivable hellhole. Last thing we need is to bring the SDF's biggest mistake into this bridge" He turned around to face Moloch. "And for the love of fuck, put out those matchsticks before you hurt someone! You want to get your shit and leave? Don't loose your temper at the slightest provocation. There has been enough of that already."
Vakarus began to breathe in a much more relaxed manner while the psionic auara slolwy began to wear off. The energy blades on his staff suddenly collapsed and he turned to János and Alex. "I cannot ignore the truth in your words, János. I am also bound by code to honor the wishes of someone who is a friend of the Vakr." The last phrase was directed at Alex who earned the title 'vakrin years ago after helping Vakarus settle in to his new life. ----- Maddox shrugged. "Not gonna argue with that." He looked at Yuga. "Sorry ma'am, but they're right."
"Sol Government jurisdiction ends where space outside Sol Government begins," Porter inserts himself into the conversation, "I agree with Janos: Why should we arrest him when he hasn't done anything wrong?" he asks Yuga. ----- "I just want Moloch alive so I can see how the heck he patched up Frosty without any real medical equipment," Amelia says alongside Porter.
Yuga narrowed her eyes in disgust, such weak willed individuals that would fall for any story without concidering the bigger picture. Naivity have been many a species downfall. Yuga had not taken her eyes of Moloch, "While I am very reluctant, I can not myself stop you and it seems none of my subordinates are willing to see you for what you are. Now be on your way." she conveyed, monotone as always, gesturing towards the door of the bridge.
Smoke stopped coming out from Moloch's tunic, the glow under his hood went dull, his hands stopped sparking, and his feet touched the ground. He picked up Frosty's strongbox and hoisted it over his shoulder again. Without saying a word to anyone, only motioning to János to follow him, he left the bridge and proceeded back to his shuttle.
János nodded to Moloch's motioning, and, before he left the bridge himself and followed Moloch to his shuttle, he once more did his Zogist salute. Following Moloch, he said to him: "Well, that went fine, I guess. If only you guys didn't react so quickly, we might've finished this slightly more peacefully."
"Wait, Moloch!" Amelia yelled, walking right up to him, "Could you show me how you healed up Frosty? Pretty please?" she asked, both hands together, jumping up and down.
"Well, that went fine, I guess. If only you guys didn't react so quickly, we might've finished this slightly more peacefully."
"To be very honest, Mr. János, with someone like that as your captain, I expected her to strike me the moment she saw me. As I have stated before, I do not trust anyone who calls me a heretic and a zealot, or insults my people and our God. Still, violence was narrowly averted today, and I have you to thank for that."
"Could you show me how you healed up Frosty? Pretty please?"
Moloch bowed his head for a moment. "I am afraid I cannot. My art of the healing hands is not something ordinary people can perform."
Maddox let out a deep sigh and waked up to Porter. "Ever seen anything like Frosty or this Moloch before? During your service with the SDF that is." ----- Vakarus looked at Alex. "Alex'vakrin, perhaps we should tend to Amy now?"
Moloch bowed his head for a moment. "I am afraid I cannot. My art of the healing hands is not something ordinary people can perform."
"Well I want to understand it not necesarilly perform it. I could record it, document it, and send it to my colleagues. If it involves nano machines I'm gunna have a field day."
Abraxas waited in response, staring at the holoband while his heart was beating. "Hello? Are you there?" He asked. Silence afterwards. He lowered his head, shaking his head in pity. Abrax deactivated his holoband. He stared at the two, leaving a note about the importance of resting during this trip. He left the medbay.
"Understanding it is impossible. And I'd rather you not do that as this is something that was meant to be a secret. But if it helps, it does not involve nanomachines."
