((so much happened, holy cow))
((Well I'm fucking sad now thanks.))
János waved Abraxas goodbye, as the doctor left. Once he wasn't in sight anymore, he turned to Sylvia. "Here is your combat knife and Dio's giant collection of knives. Be sure to give them to him," he said, as he handed the weapons to her. He then noticed the Cataract. "Another ship?"
Abraxas lid up a cigarette after sending a message to the Medbay back at Muramasa that all his work was up for grabs at this point.
Amelia dashed for the Medbay, excited to see what kind of work was up for grabs. When she barged in the door, looking to his side of the room. There was tons of chemical's, books, drawings, tools. So much information. So much knowledge. And Amelia is going to document the shit out of it. "Oh my! He literally left EVERYTHING here!" She walks with her head leaning in close along the shelves as she traversed his work. "All this Malmarian technology, all up for grabs." She looks around, trying to find anyone that might be watching. For a minute, she stops and thinks about Abraxas leaving. The doc with a good sense of pessimism to keep Amelia's optimism in check. Who would be there to debate on medical topics with such an attitude as Abraxas? Welp, doesn't matter, she'll figure that out later. For now, she'd love to explore all the chemicals and elements at her disposal, ready for experimentation. "Mine." she whispers, giggling like a little school girl.
Taylor stood in silence from where she was on the Cataract's boarding ramp, watching Abraxas talk to his comrades before his inevitable departure. She had also seen that other fighter that had looked quite similar to Frosty's, as well as its owner. Frosty must have been shot down. That's THREE casualties, and the departure of a crewmate. Taylor shook her head slightly. She didn't like the way things were playing out. Not at all. She strolled down the ramp, stepping over to where Alex was. "Who was the guy in the hood with the spiked crown? Where's Frosty?" she asked, curious.
"The guy was a friend of Frosty's. He had flight rage and crashed. The guy, called Moloch, saved him from his starfighter and proceeded to surgically save him from death. He asked if we could let him take Frosty back to his people, to see if they could do anything about his amnesia. Yuga wanted to arrest him for believing in a religion, almost risking more lives than necessary. A couple of us had to step in and prevent this, which we did. Now, the two have left for their home planet," János answered. "What's with the new ship?" he asked back.
"That...was a friend of Frosty. Short story is that he found Frosty and stiched him back together. And now he's taking him home for full recovery. The captain wanted us to detain him out of some acusation of heresy or something else that isn't our job. If it wasn't for János, things might have ended badly. Like several more dead, badly." Alex was silent for a moment. He finally broke the silence. "How bad is...How bad is Amy right now?"
Taylor listened to both János' and Alex's explanations. Her eyes narrowed. "I need to have a very long talk with our captain. Anyway, this is the Cataract. Yanim bought it so it can help us out with the mission. You can go meet the crew if you want." Yuga almost got more crew killed? Over a spat about heresy and religion? Taylor was getting more and more infuriated by the second. Yuga didn't care about the crew. Only personal profit and her own damn feelings. She looked over at Alex as he asked about Amy. Her eyes and expression softened a bit. "...she's in critical condition...APC exploded with her inside. Badly burned, but Abraxas saved her. She's in the medical bay on the Cataract." She looked back towards the Muramasa. "...If you need me, I'll be talking to the captain." she said, before giving them both a nod and walking away.
((snip))
Alex looked at János. "I am suddenly concerned for the captain."
János looked at the ship once more after hearing Taylor's explanation. The Cataract, huh? Maybe he should pay the crew there a visit. Before he could say what he wanted, he heard Alex say:
"I am suddenly concerned for the captain."
"She'll be fine. Those injured are more important. Want me to give Amelia a call, so that she and Hestia can take a look at the injured?"
Maddox greeted Taylor when she stepped onboard the Muramasa. "I'm guessing the others told you what Yuga did?"
-snip wrong medbay-
"Yeah, call her in." For some reason the though of what his father would say creeped into Alex's mind. The father-son relationship was never a good one, but he never could guess what he thought of his sister. Just another soldier for his crusade or a spare heir to the throne of misery. He shook off those thoughts and tried to think about something else while he waited.
"I'm guessing the others told you what Yuga did?"
Taylor paused for a moment, a look of anger on her face. "Yes, they did. She was willing to get more of the crew killed over Moloch's detainment, when he was just here to get Frosty's stuff. All because she thought he was a heretic. We're not in Sol space. Nor are we in Ayr space. At the moment, religion doesn't fucking matter. Crew lives do."
János nodded, as he activated his communicator. "Hey Amelia! You want to come with me, Alex and Hestia to visit the Cataract, to meet their crew and to see our injured?"
Maddox nodded. "Hoorah to that. Although, word of advice; she's pissed as hell right now. Not sure how much good will come from you two yelling when the crew is minutes from falling apart."
Amelia banged her head against the shelves edge. The communicator was somehow turned to max volume. "Y-yeah... sounds good," she rubs her head, making a pouty face as she leaves the medbay with her labcoat on. She exits the Muramasa, and sees Hestia outside, "Heya, doc, shall we?"
After a little while, Istasha comes back into the Cataract's medbay lugging a very large musical instrument case. She brings it up over to Johannes, whos eyes light up when he sees it. "Is that what I think it is?" "Yup!" Istasha nods and puts it on top of one of the nearby medical beds. She opens it to reveal a beautiful Cello with ornate designs embossed in gold filigree. On the lower bout, a simple message is engraved onto the cello. "For Johannes. Your family is so proud of you for accomplishing so much. You will always be loved." "I kept it safe and secure in my quarters after you left. I knew how much it meant to you, especially after you told me your family had given it to you right before you got put in cryosleep. I knew one day I'd be able to give it back." Johannes smiles, his face lit up like the sun, and hugs Istasha as hard as he can. Which is a little too hard. She grimaces with an "oof" "Jo. Johan. Dude. Too strong." He pulls away and chuckles. "Sorry. I'm just so excited. I didn't think I'd see it again, I gave it to you as a gift because I knew I couldn't lug a cello around pulling random contracts. I'm so happy to have it back though. Thank you, Ish. So much."
"Hoorah to that. Although, word of advice; she's pissed as hell right now. Not sure how much good will come from you two yelling when the crew is minutes from falling apart."
"Oh, there wouldn't be much yelling..." muttered Taylor, thinking about the revolver on her hip. She thought for a few moments, then sighed. "Get the crew's thoughts on how Yuga's been running things. Once you do, report back to me, and I'll shoot Yanim a message. I'll request a new vote on who will be captain of the ship. Its better than the alternative I had in mind."
After a minute or so of waiting, Amelia and Hestia joined them. "Good. Let's go check on the wounded and meet our new friends." The four climbed up the ramp and entered the Cataract. After some wondering around they found the medbay. First thing he noticed were the unconcious bodies of his sister and Valk. His heart sank deep. He wasn't taking it exactly well, but for his own sake he held it together. Alex noticed the doctor pulling shrapnel out of Markus. "Did we come at a bad time?"
Markus looked up to Alex, shook his bushy, rugged head with a smile. "You'll know when you come in at a bad time, mate." ... Yuga watched the feed as Moloch confided somethin in Janos and Abraxas departed. Abraxas and her had had their disagreements but he was in her opinion the most level-headed individual on this ship. A shame to see him go, he did what was asked of him whilst also voicing his opinions. However, Yuga was more curious about what Moloch had told Janos. She would have to take a further look into this development. A Ayr musical piece played in the background as Yuga viewed a holographic table of the crew members current status and locations, enveloped in a light vapor mist.
Hestia looked on as her medical equal left her and the crew behind to parts unknown. After he left her sight, Hestia turn to look over at their sister ship. Accessing their stored Records relevant to status of the critically injured crew members aboard in the medbay. However, a familiar face entered her view abruptly.
"Heya, doc, shall we?"
"Miss. Weinhart! We have heavily injured crew member that need our urgent attention, right this way!" Hestia said before taking Amelia by the hand and taking her with towards the medbay within the vessel.
Mercy finishes pulling out the surface shrapnel from Markus' arm, dropping it into a tissue before wrapping that up and throwing it into the trash. She wraps a bandage around the arm before letting it rest on the table. Mercy turns around, wiping her hands together and shaking her head. "Non, monsieur! Zis is actually a very good time, if you have any help to offer!" She says, smiling warmly at the new group who has arrived.
((I'll take this moment to put my point's into Markus' health))
Maddox nodded. "Will do." He was about to leave when he suddenly stopped and turned around to look at Taylor. "Taylor just so you know, I trust you with my life. I'd follow you into the darkest of black holes and the warmest of suns." He pointed down the corridor, the same direction where the bridge was located. "If you would've ordered me to walk up on that bridge and cuff Yuga I would do it." With that said Maddox did a quick salute and went on his way. Using a encrypted channel, he sent a message to all crewmembers but Yuga and Vakarus, fearing that the latter would alert Yuga of any mischief.
Captain Yuga; thoughts? Be honest. Mad

However, a familiar face entered her view abruptly. "Miss. Weinhart! We have heavily injured crew member that need our urgent attention, right this way!" After they enter Amelia listens to Alex greet, then Mercy speaks.
Mercy turns around, wiping her hands together and shaking her head. "Non, monsieur! Zis is actually a very good time, if you have any help to offer!" She says, smiling warmly at the new group who has arrived.
"Oh, why hello there! I'm Amelia, Biologist, Phd, not really a doctor but I can try to help in any way that I can." she reaches out for a handshake.
After completely zoning out writing messages back and forth to a contact outside of the ship, Owen slumped in the cockpit chair, not really doing much of anything. Finally, he noticed that several things took place. Yuga was still in the bridge, but during his zoning out, Owen lost all track of time. "What time is it? What day is it?" Owen asked to himself. In addition, Owen could just feel the tension on the ship. Owen said to Yuga, "Last I remember, we had a few casualties on the away team. Did they even end up finishing the mssion?" ((I know, that was a while ago))
Johannes quickly reads the message with his cybernetic eye and then keys a response
What happened? I've been on the Cataract since the mission ended. -Johannes

"Oh, why hello there! "I am Mercy, ze ship's medic, and on occasion combat medic! It would be nice if you could help me wiss ze other two!" She says, motioning her head to the two unconsious people lying in beds.
