After Maddox summarizes what happened over text chat with Johannes, his mood sours immediately. He writes back, copying all the people on his reply that were originally pinged by Maddox, minus, of course, Yugo and Vakarus.
Unacceptable behavior from a commanding officer, especially one of such a small fighting force. Three casualties on an op and not only does she not show any concern about that, but she further jeopardizes the lives of non-combat crew by antagonizing an unknown neutral ON THE BRIDGE without informing any other crewmembers of her plans? Entirely unacceptable behavior. We need a captain that gives a shit about the crew, not their own wallet. Like First Officer Caine.
When Bucky speaks, he diverts his attention. When she introduces himself, he smiles and holds out a hand for her to shake if she wanted. "The pleasure is mine. Y'know, if you need some help in Engineering I bet Istasha would be more than happy to help." He hikes a thumb at the Green Sselik standing next to him, who is nose deep in her datapad yet again. At the mention of her name, she looks up and smiles sheepishly.
"Huh? What? Oh, yes sure. I'm one of the Cataract's chief engineers I'm sure I could offer some help, provided of course Captain Sharpe allowed it." She glances at her datapad, and then starts. "Oh, damn. Speak of the devil, my next assignment is almost due. Nice to meet you, Bucky! Bye, JoJo." She gives Johannes a brief hug and scampers off into the bowels of the ship. Johannes cringes at Istasha's used of the nickname "JoJo" and glances at Bucky. "Don't tell anyone about that."
Maddox linked up with Taylor and Porter outside the two ships. "Nice seeing you Porter."
He turned to Taylor and showed her the crew responses. "How do you want to do this?"
"How do you want to do this?"
Taylor paused and looked through the responses so far. "Once everyone has responded, send them all to me through my holotablet. I'll shoot a message to Yanim myself about it, along with the responses, and ask that we have another vote. If Yuga finds out and asks about it, direct her to me." she responded, looking up at his eyes. "This is technically considered mutiny, since I'm going over her head with it and attempting to take her out of her position as captain. If she confronts anyone about this, its going to be me and she'll have to deal with me."
Maddox nodded. "Solid copy." With nothing more to discuss Maddox went back to the armory to unload his gear. He also started up the various machines inside: for he had spidermines to build.
After retrieving Mercy's evaluations, Hestia begins have the systems within the Muramasa's medbay to scan over Abraxas's log.
Particularity those relating to both Miss Korunov and Miss Blackwell.
Hestia starts walking closer towards Valencia, then Amy.
Looking over both thoroughly in person.
They seem quite stable despite the hash injures they substantiated during the battle.
Truly, Abraxas medical skills will surely be missed for the crew of the Muramasa.
Through for both, the road to a full recovery will be a long one.
Their wounds we're severe, Valencia suffering from a extreme skull fracture while Amy was covered in serious burns.
Simple, quick nano gel procedures would be of little effect. Simply speeding the recovery rate through Nantes wouldn't be enough.
The standard, recommended bio acceleration that her various subsystems have done countless time would be long, too long.
Taking nearly a year for them to fully, naturally recover wasn't possible within the allowed mission parameters.
It seems that the only course left was that of intrusive augmentation program with the equipment available.
Hestia started her plan of action with Amy, for her seem to be the most dire.
A full, deep body scan covering her entire would be the first step as to discover any inner damage from the concussion of the blast.
Then would be repairing said damage would either simple surgery or if need be, bionic replacement.
The most distributing of processes would be the full removal of the ruined flesh, the skin and the outer muscle.
Finally, after an clean scan of Amy body would be the crafting and then grafting of said synthetic skin onto her bare muscle.
For even with years long bio accelerated recoveries, the charred, blackened skin would be forever scared and weak.
This was unfortunately one of the few operations letting Amy to continue her days as an able body freelancer.
The series of surgical operations would take an dozen days, three weeks at most.
However, the physical and psychological therapy would be most the hardest part of the whole ordeal.
Then there was Valencia, who's rear of the skull had been blown apart.
While not as complex of an medical operation was needed, it would still be quite the task to undertake.
Starting with a full scan of Valencia's brain to find any potential damage before sealing the skull.
If any damage was found, then carefully and precise nano weaving must be undertaken.
After that, the shatter remains of affected cranium would need to be removed and replaced.
Valencia's operation would only take several days to fully complete.
Through the physical therapy would be quite difficult and exhausting.
But in face of these challenge, Hestia would not let down the crew.
As such she begin extensively planing out the medical operations in full detail while in the Cataract's bay overlooking both patients thoroughly.
Taylor continued on with Porter, boarding the Cataract and heading to where she had left her gear on the side of the medical bay. She saw that the other medical personnel were tending to Valk and Amy, so she decided to stay out of their way. She stepped over to where the pieces of her EHE suit were sitting, and set the massive autoshotgun down next to it. She took the ammo canisters from Porter a moment later, and set them next to it. There. She was ready for tomorrow. "Thanks, Porter." she said, looking back up at him. She followed it with a thumbs up.
She turned to see the others still in the room. János was nearby, and Markus dealing with shrapnel wounds. "Shit stings, doesn't it?" she said in Markus' direction, with a smirk.
Bucky giggles and waves goodbye to Istasha as she scampers away and looks back at Johannes. "Sseliks, always so vivacious. And 'JoJo'? How'd you manage that nickname?" Bucky asks with a winning smile. Her mood seems to have gotten much better, and she comes across as amicably conversational."I mean, I know they're fond of nicknames, but I figured "Hansie" would seem like the better choice there..."
She lets the message from earlier slide, she'll handle it later.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Harii, on the other hand, is much more interested in the recent goings-on. He replies to Maddox's message, in such a way that the others save for Yuga and Vakarus can see.
Yuga, so far, has been a decent CO to me. She and I have our disputes, namely she detests the means of my continued survival and seems to have some incorrect assumptions about my character. But what she tried to pull with the Frosty Situation was dead wrong. If we as a crew decide to take action, I'll take a side. But until then I'm not going to do anything but my job.
And with that, he enters the med bay to pay his due respects to his injured comrades.
Johannes rubs the back of his neck and groans at Bucky's mention of JoJo, shrugging. When she says "Hansie" he almost chokes. "She usually just calls me "Jo" or "Johan" but sometimes she calls me "JoJo" to try and embarrass me. I've never heard anyone use "Hansie" before. Although when you think about it, it kind of sounds like "Handsy" which has a fairly negative connotation." He shrugs again. "I dunno about all of them being vivacious. Maybe the ones, like her, that leave their homeworld and seek out other species. Most of them are pretty cliquey. I worked with her for a few years on an all Sselik p..." He pauses, then seems to backtrack a little. "Uh, scavenging vessel. Their crew was pretty open, but whenever we went back to Ssael no one on the planet's surface would talk to me unless I had credit chits in my hand and wanted to buy something. It was very odd. Not used to being stared at from literally every person on a street."
Thanks, Porter." she said, looking back up at him. She followed it with a thumbs up.
"Anytime," Porter salutes then walks off back to his room on the Muramasa.

Amelia stands in the medbay, twidling her thumbs, "So what now?"
János, hearing Amelia's comment regarding her ringtone, spoke up.
"That... that song is from a show?" he asked, as he noticed Taylor come in.
"That... that song is from a show?" he asked, as he noticed Taylor come in.
"Yeah, old show. Called Love!Live! you heard of it, János?"
"No... I haven't. But I've seen the music video for that song a ton of times," János replied.
"No... I haven't. But I've seen the music video for that song a ton of times," János replied.
Amelia's eyes sparkle, her mouth grins wide, and her hands clap together, similar to this.
"Yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," she bubbles up, "It's been so long since someone's heard that song before."
"Wait," she tilts her head, "Do you like the song, though?"
(( Johannes calls y'all a buncha fuckin' weebs from across the medbay ))
"Yeah, it has a nice rhythm, and the vocals complement the instrumental. I guess you could say I like it," János replied with a shrug.

"Oh... so you haven't watched... nevermind," she looks down in dissapointment, "At least you like their best song."

Bucky listens to Johanne's story with a sympathetic ear. She understands better than most what it's like to be the only one of your own kind around a place. She tugs back her hoodie's hood, and adjusts the bun she's put her auburn hair up in. "Yeah, I know that feeling man. I spent a while on a little moon out in Gliese 581 among a bunch of aliens; all kinds. I was the only human-looking thing around for a long time there. Guess we both know what it's like to be a weirdo, huh."
Johannes laughs. "Yeah, I suppose so. At least you're a pretty normal looking human. I've got all this bullshit going on." He gestures to the massive scar around his cybernetic eye, his greyish skin color, and all the data ports on his spine. "Not to mention all the fucky stuff in my head." He shrugs. "But I guess that's the price of immortality right?"
Bucky nods with a little smile. "Yeah, I guess. And thanks, not many people compliment my 'normalcy'. You're pretty nice for a merc cyborg, you know that?" Bucky asks, then continues on. "Most guys like you are hotshots, but you seem pretty level headed. It's odd."
Porter sends a message to Maddox reguarding Yuga's abilities as Captain.
Yuga has planned accordingly, but she is a danger to the crew. Although she was probably right about Moloch, that isn't the problem. We need a captain, not a strategist who is an "the ends justify the means" kind of person. We need a captain that cares about the crew and their respective duties. - Porter
-----
Amelia also sends a message.
Yuga's ok as captain, but I think there's someone else on the ship who could do better. - A. Weinheart
Having just finished his second batch of spidermines, these too loaded with left-over NX charges from the previous mission, Maddox opened up his datapad to see the final crew responses.
He forwarded all of the messages to Taylor alongside a footnote.
It's your call.
Mad
((Gonna go ahead and do the vote thing. Anyone that didn't voice their opinion can do so when the vote is going.))
Taylor received the message, reading through the responses. Alright, lets do this. She began typing up a message to Yanim, requesting that there be a new vote on who should be captain of the ship. She listed the grievances, stating that Yuga seemed to have no feelings towards the crew's safety and survival and seemed to be on a power trip. She also attached all the opinions of the crew that they had received to the message for Yanim to read over if she chose to.
After finishing the message, she sent it off. Hopefully there'd be a vote, but if not, then she'd respect their boss's wishes.
After Istasha left the engineering section of the Cataract, Jag slowly drifted into it's mind.
-----
Prospera, Five nights ago, TriEnterprises 'West Asset Protection Center'
The last of the guard weakly stood ahead of just an few meters.
Barely holding himself, his bloody fist clinching onto the rotten plaster wall to keep him from falling onto the stained floor.
Jag looked past the individual, it's posture was normal while it slowly paced towards him.
"Sh-Shit..." the man lowly mutter through his broken mask, his eyes staring dead into the Sanghvi featureless head.
His body was leaning inwards as he watched Jag slowly walk towards him, knowing full well of it's intentions.
"So...," He's says audible to Jag, "Th...This..".
"How it ends?" Jag said cutting him off, it's voice barring no emotion.
"For you," It said after a brief pause, "Yes."
He swallowed the blood in his mouth before trying to continue his words.
His old, weary face begin to show through the ruined visor of his mask.
"Your a bit late for your revenge....Killing me..It won't bring your friend back-"
The veteran Investigator said right before Jag cut him down effortless with an simple sash from it's right arm.
Jag paid little attention, having a far larger set of goals it needed to accomplish within the span of the night.
Through it did halt and look down at his lifeless body for an moment.
"To be fair....Your shot did fall to take her life."
Jag said with an sense of anguish, dwelling onto less pleasant memories for several seconds while staring blankly into the abyss.
-----
Jag's implant begin to harshly vibrate back to full consciousness with updates from the Muramasa.
While rising up, it quickly checked over the new information before finding Taylor's message.
Karma.
Jag simply forwarded to Taylor while heading out of engineering towards the medbay within the Cataract to met with Taylor to discus matters in person.
Taylor looked around, examining the crew that were aboard the Cataract with her as well as the ones that were actual crew of the Cataract. She then noticed Jag approaching. He must have finished his meditation. He had better luck than she did, apparently.
"Hey, Jag. Guessing your meditation went well?" she asked, folding her arms as she stood next to where her autoshotty sat.
Hariim finds Amelia and taps her on the shoulder. "Hey. I got some free time. Want to get to the bottom of the camera conundrum?"
Hariim finds Amelia and taps her on the shoulder. "Hey. I got some free time. Want to get to the bottom of the camera conundrum?"
Amelia looks back to look for the source of the tapping to find Hariim asking her a question.
"Camera conundrum? What's that?"
It's odd."
Johannes smiles "Thanks! It's because I'm Dutch. We smoke a lot of pot, or so the stereotype goes." He winks and chuckles. "Nah I never bought into that mercenary bravado bullshit. I served in my country's military first, so maybe that kept it from seeping in. But the PMC I joined was pretty no-nonsense too. Very professional outfit."
"Amy found a camera in her room a while back, and I got a hunch. I need to find out if anybody else has cameras in their quarters; figured you could dig around and see if you have one. Somebody is peeping on others, and I aim to find out who." Hariim states matter-of-factly. "Gimme a hand?"
