Jag then turned to face the last foe standing, backing up before charging towards back of the officer. In attempt to avoid stray gunfire form the ridge. It's eyes locked on the soft-carbons lower back, aiming to swiftly impale it's blades through it's stomach and lower torso.
Abrax waited for someone to make a move, now was his chance. He aimed Anna at the last officer and fired two darts. Taking deep breaths
((You're really gifted with rolling sixes, Infab)) Taylor: 6 x Versatility(CH1/4: 3, Failed, x1) = 6 DMG The final burst of ammunition ripped through the air, striking the right-side officer in the throat. This proved to be a fatal shot, and he crashed to the ground. Moments later, he passed out from blood loss and expired. Enemy Eliminated. Jag: Attack invalidated. Abraxas: Action invalidated. Jag had started running in pursuit of the last standing officer, while simultaneously Abraxas fired off two darts in hopes of a hat trick. Unfortunately, neither one of them reached the officer before he was cut down. Rask stood up and dusted himself off. "Nice fuckin' job everyone," he said with a grin. He turned on his communicator and radioed the Muramasa: "We've taken them out. Minimal injuries on our side." Shortly thereafter, the group had found a somewhat gentle slope to slide down onto the roadway in order to catch up to Jag. Rask fished the keys to the police van out of the pocket of the dead officer before turning to the group. "Alright, I want you all to look through these guys' persons and see if you can find anything useful. I'm gonna go warm that van up; we'll use it to ride into the city, or Roco if need be. Abrax, go ahead and patch Silvia up while we've got a minute."
Abrax nodded and gestured circles as handcuffs. He turned to Sylvia and saw her bloodied wing. He then walked closer and widened his coat to reveal a bunch of syringes at the bottom and potions on the top. He pulled out a rag and some thick tweezers to get anything that wasn't supposed to be there out. "Ready?" He asked.
[666, :v:] "Excellent." she said to herself, as she walked over and looked at the dead officer. Hmm...wonder what kind of weapon he had? She crouched down next to him, slipping her rifle around to her back, and checked the firearm in his hand.
Amelia nods her head to the last command. She crouches down and tries to find something useful on the body of the officer she shot.
Abraxas: CH Estimate: 1/1 (Apothecary) Silvia +25 HP, 50/50 Amelia: CH Estimate 1/2 Actual: 2 Roll passed. Amelia pulled open the jacket of the unconscious middle officer. In one of the front pockets of his shirt, she found a mobile device with his fingerprint in the center of the screen. Handling it carefully, she set it aside. In his rear pocket, an ID card revealed his precinct number and immediate superior's identity. Taylor picked up the firearm that had been used by the right-side officer. It was a standard-issue .22 pistol with a 16 round magazine capacity.
Yuga was satisfied with the message over the comms. Judging by the tone of his voice the new crew members had performed satisfactory according to Rask, which was a good enough judge for her. "Excellent work. How do you plan to proceed" Yuga asked over the comms.
A .22, eh? Tiny...but could be useful in an emergency. She tucked it into one of her pants pockets, then checked the dead right officer to see if he had any more loot on him. Probably not, but she could hope.
Jag took an moment to briefly inspect the bodies on the ground, their equipment was fairly standard for patrolmen. Their weaponry and combat gear wasn't of any importance to the Sanghvi, instead, Jag stabbed through the shoulders of the left officer's corpse. The body still twitching as the blood slowly went down it's vest from the fatal wound on it's throat. It's eyes wide open and his body ever warm. Jag used it's tentacles to rip apart the various poaches on the vest and upper trousers for anything of use. An rather bloody method but an quick and thorough one at that.
Amelia walks up to Rask, "I found some stuff on one of the guys." she then holds out in front of her the man's ID card and the mobile device with a fingerprint on the center of the screen.
Owen listened to the announcement. Things seemed to be going well on the gound. Owen stood on the bridge. (NPC mode for the night)
[Gonna head to bed. Felt like crap most of the day, and I'm really drowsy. Can control Taylor for whatever for now.]
"Excellent work. How do you plan to proceed?"
As Yuga asked this question, Rask was starting up the police van. He rolled forward under silent, electric power, knocking over a few of the barricades in front of the tunnel. "These guys weren't alone," he replied. "I've got a screen here in the cab of their van that's showing a few other police positions in a big ring around our original LZ, but if all of their postings were this small then I'd say they probably underestimated us, keh. I've got the crew checking for info on where the dispatching office is; once we know their address, we can be on their doorstep." Taylor then checked the right officer for anything else he might have had. CH estimate: 1/9 Actual: 5 Roll failed. Finding nothing useful, she moved on. Jag, however, wasn't so sure and decided to be more thorough. CH estimate: 2/5 Actual: 3 Roll passed. Tucked into a hidden pocket in the officer's jeans was a small notebook, held closed with an elastic band. Although by this point the booklet was covered in blood, a quick leafing through the pages revealed a series of kanad and human names, contact numbers, monetary equations, and locations around the city of Edna. Judging by the mysterious patterns, it appeared to be some sort of bribe collection record. Rask rolled down the window of the van. "Anything useful?" "I found some stuff on one of the guys," Amelia said as she handed over the ID card and mobile. "Eh, what's this? Ah, shnka! (shit!)" Rask said as he nearly smudged the thumbprint away. "Good work. I never would've noticed that. And an ID card too... Right. Good. Yuga, I've got something for you. I want you to look up Precinct #38 on the navigation console and tell us where their office is, and anything else that seems relevant- special hazards, et cetera." ((Make something up, Radley, and we'll roll with it. I'll be giving these sorts of opportunities to players to help spice up our missions.))
Abrax dusted away the excess and stared at Silvia's wing that got penetrated. With the use of a mysterious syringe and some slight patches the Physician's work was done for now. He checked for darts and reloaded his pistol.
"Thanks, I appreciate it." Silvia said as she looked at her patched wing.
Abrax stared at the crewmate, slightly nodding before focusing on his main inventory. He was surprised to see two officers go down without effort from the Annabelle. Unfortunately he shouldn't rely on it too much and preferred some backup, something he didn't have with him at this moment.
"May your presence laid at pace within the endless void..." Jag said quietly towards the dead officer, it's eyes looked into theirs before releasing it's blades form the corpse, letting the body fall limb at it's fleet. Jag heard the incoming the radio transmissions from the Muramasa through it's implant, letting the Sanghvi keep tack of the unfolding situation. "Let us not tally then. Employer Rask.," Jag said as it's puts it's arms under it's cloaks, returning to upright and clam position. Quickly searching the surrounding environment for any possible hostiles creeping up on them. "I'll appoint myself on overwatch duty, scanning the nearby area for incoming contacts." Jag then begin walking towards in haste around the nearby area "I'll be able to report any of my findings via adio." Jag said while walking away from Rask.
[Sorry, fell asleep.] Yuga activated the navigation system with the input precinct #38. After a brief search it gave a location. "According to the database it is a small station due north of your position some 4 miles. It appears to be a relatively small building. With the size of your group I suggest scouting it and evauluate if you can take over the station and then scanning their archives for information and whereabouts of Ms Terika." This was all the information Yuga could offer.
"Rask'atvan, do you wish for me to provide additional support or am I to remain here?" Asked Vakarus calmly over the radio.
Taylor stood and walked over to where Rask and Amelia were, reloading her weapon as she walked. So we're gonna investigate a police precinct? This should be fun.
Amelia twirls her gun, drops it, then picks it up and starts twirling again.
Jag stopped for an moment, turning it's head towards the empty armored police Van behind them before turning to Taylor. "Can you fit that?" Jag asked to Taylor as it pointed towards one of the unconscious officers laying on the ground with it's arm.
Taylor looked at Jag, then at the unconscious officer. Hmm... "I could try. Give me a minute." she says, as she walked over and dragged the officer behind some bushes nearby. A short time later, she emerges, dressed in the officers clothing. "Huh. It fits." she said, looking herself over. She had her revolver in her hand, which she slipped in the holster that the officer's previous weapon had been in.
Alex cleaned up what was left in the mess hall. "Note to self. Buy a cleaning bot when available." He remembered that he hadn't eaten and made himself and sandwich.
"Good." Jag relied as looked to the other body. Taking an moment to think before walking over towards Rask. "Employer Rask, I might have an plan for getting into the nearby station and if need be, the prison." Jag stated toward Rask.

If it's a small office like you say, then there's no doubt someone knows the one we're looking for and where she ended up." "Let us not tally then. Employer Rask," Jag said. Rask agreed, pressing a switch which opened the rear doors of the van. Inside, bench seats welcomed the other company members. Racked on one wall of the van were a pair of pump shotguns. As the crewmembers circled around to load up, Vakarus could be heard over the comm.
Rask'atvan, do you wish for me to provide additional support or am I to remain here?
"Stay put, Vak. If this'd been a week ago, I would have needed you here, but we got people now. If the ship comes under attack, it's going to need a gunner." Rask heard a clatter and looked back just in time to see Amelia pick her pistol up of the ground before trying again to spin it again. He sighed. "We're killing time, let's get moving already." Then Taylor came out of the bushes dressed in one of the officer's uniforms. "Huh. It fits," she said. Rask slapped his forehead. "How is that going to help? Dressing in their uniform isn't going to hide the fact that you're human... well, wait. From far away, it might be hard to tell... and maybe it might through them off for a minute or two if we get spotted. Whatever, fine. Taylor, take the front seat with me. The rest of you, get in the back. "Employer Rask, I might have an plan for getting into the nearby station and if need be, the prison." Jag said. "Tell it to me on the way." Once everyone was loaded into the van, Rask turned it around so that it was facing north, and began to drive. There were no lights in the tunnel, but the headlights of the van provided a partial view ahead. As it rolled along, the screen in the passenger side of the dashboard tracked its movement, and so it was clear that if any of the other police sentries in the area happened to be in their van, they would see the suspicious movement. Sure enough, it wasn't long before a voice crackled over the van's built in comm system. "Gamma squad, why are you moving?" the voice demanded. For a moment, there was tense silence as Rask pushed down on the accelerator. "This is commander Hyvan, gamma squad, respond!" Rask suddenly seized the transmitter and responded forcefully. "Rakir a skedet! Ke'm midt Gaharya Kakrom!" Shut up and listen! I'm with State Security! "...uh... sar... vok... aki..." the commander responded. It was obvious that he knew very little kanad. Rask continued to berate him in the kanad language for several minutes until the van had cleared the tunnel and officer on the other side had given up. For the time being, it seemed that the lie had worked. Meanwhile, in the sky above, a drone from the Black Fleet base shrieked through the air on its way to the location of the mysterious radar blip which had been recorded earlier. "Ah... shit. Hey, Neasha, Vakarus, there's a drone headed your way, just a heads up..." Back on the Muramasa, Neasha cursed under her breath as she heard the info. If a drone were to spot the Muramasa sitting in the forest clearing, it would entice the Black Fleet into sending troops and air support to investigate the incursion. "Now then," Rask said. "Jag, you said you had a plan? I hope it's obvious why I'm in such a fucking hurry."

Yuga zoomed the map out from the station to show a bigger view of the ship and it's surroundings. She looked at Vakarus. "This drone could presents us with a very serious problem. A problem I hope your warrior expertise can neutralize if need be." she communed in a slightly demanding tone. "If it detects us and we are forced to shoot it down, things could escalate unfavorably quick. For now we'll have to rely on luck, or device a plan.". Yuga turned to the map once again and looked for the blip that would show up when the ships radar picked up the drone, her eyes forming into a frown. "Luck can seldom be credited for success. I'm disliking the way this operation is unfolding."
((Not true about the ship's armament. There's a flak autocannon and a large missile pod on the top side of the ship.))
