Jag held it's head back as Abraxas injected the chemical into it's torso before looking towards the door as it open to reveal Biologist Weinheart hastily entering the lab.
"What!?" Jag said in an confused tone towards Abraxas comment, picking itself in staggered matter towards Abraxas with it's arms ready to bare. Trying desperately to remain in control of it's body as it moved from side to side towards the door before finally falling hard on the floor next to Amelia feet. Just a few meters away from crushing the diminutive soft-carbon in it's fall.
Jag now laid in an paralyzed state on the medbay's floor, still conscious of it's surroundings but unable to move an single part of it's body.
"Nevermind nevermind. I need you to assist me and grab the books called Alchemy Arts: Vol 1 & 2 in the Medical side of the Labs. Once you got those books bring that glass containing the ore."
"Mkay!" she walks on over to the Medical side and flips through the library of books till she finally finds Alchemy Arts: Vol 1. But there isn't a Vol 2? Oh wait, nevermind, it's on the floor, on the page titled, "Dopamine Increaser With Liquid Through Rectum."
"... eugh" She cringes at the title, then comes back into action, holding both books in her hands.
She then walks over to the table with the "glass containing the ore" and puts it on top of the books.
Amelia finally walks back to the table where Jag was sitting an-

"Hehehe, rekt." she then puts the rest of whatever Abrax wanted onto the table.
"Were you reading the Volume 2 recently?" she asks Abrax.
Owen witnessed the eating spectacle that just came to an end. Even though he lost, or won, he couldn't remember who he even betted on, there was something missing from the picture: his food. Now that the show was over, "Hey, now that the entertainment is done, can I get a sandwich or something? I don't care if it's as simple as a grilled cheese, just something."

Taylor glanced over at him. "Food is ready. Chili con carne, or whatever else Alex made. Its over there." she said, pointing to where the food was. She took her bowl back to the kitchen, then proceeded to head out of the Mess Hall. She stopped only when she saw some kind of yellow liquid on the floor. What the hell?
She knelt down and looked at it, before looking back at the others. "Did someone spring a leak or something? There's yellow goop on the floor over here."
Alex pointed at the tray filled with sandwiches and the chicken soup nobody has touched yet.

"I think Frosty bit his finger off. He probably went to Dr.Gasmask for medical help."
"I was, Vol 1 and 2 involves the basics of alchemy itself. As you can see." He gestured to Jag. "Jag is my patient and this ore. Is my resource. There are three processes of Alchemy: Comprehension, Deconstruction, and Reconstruction. For a transformation you need something to sacrifice to comprehend, then you must deconstruct it's natural state into the subject where it can... reconstruct." Abraxas pressed to himself and grabbed the ore.
"Equivalent Exchange." In other words. "Place him on the floor and I'll start." He said drawing one large circle that filled half the room using white chalk.
Having finally grown impatient with Bucky's indecision, Yanim decided to grab whatever she next saw that was useful and hand it to her. There was a heavy looking case tucked away on a palette addressed to engineering, with similar radioactivity warnings as the first she had encountered. Sliding it out of the pile, Yanim tossed it towards the opposite end of the cargo hold, toward Bucky. "Check if there's anything inside of this," she grumbled.
-Auto Roll-
CH Estimate: 3/5
Actual: 5
Roll Passed.
Bucky grabbed the case as it neared her. "Sure thing," she replied. Popping the latches open using a multitool, Bucky needed only a moment of observation before confirming what was inside. "Let's see... these are four unused nuclear fuel rods," She reported. Yanim threw her hands up in frustration. "Something wrong?" Bucky asked her.
"No," Yanim lied. "Let's get the hell out of here."
Outside, the ice flurries were worse than before, to where the Muramasa was no longer visible to the naked eye. Yanim's implant located the ship's signal through the clouds and gave her an intuitive signal, or in other words, a sort of sixth sense to guide her to the ship's location. Loading the two cases onto the skiff, an alarm sounded inside Yanim's spacesuit warning her of the inclement weather- too much icing and the suit might become immobile.
"If anyone else is still out here, return to the ship. This ice is getting dangerous," she warned. Along with Bucky, she rode the skiff back to the Muramasa as quickly as it could carry her.
Amelia took the information in, "Interesting..." she thought to herself, "Strange... but interesting." she then moved Jag around in a good position on the floor, instead of him facing into the ground.
"Is that like... a saftey circle?" Amelia asks as she watches Abrax draw a large circle with chalk.
(( He didn't actually bite it off, he split it instead. ))
Frosty turned around, and saw he was leaving a trail of blood.
"Oh no, I'm sorry. I'll... I'll clean this up."
He grabbed some more napkins and started to wipe the blood from the floor with the hand that still had it's fingers intact.
He had to pause for a moment because the pain was starting to intensify.
[It was just Alex making a badly informed observation.]
"Stop. Don't worry about it. Spills like that happen all the time. Go and get it checked out. I'll clean up."
Abraxas then drew a hexagram inside the large circle, marking very carefully not to mess up the process or else it might not work. He nodded to Amelia's question and saw Jag on the circle. There were many different studies of runes in Alchemy but he preferably used the method in the books first. The Three Essential Principles. He drew the runes on side side of the Hexagram. And waited.
"Switch to page 1535 on Vol. 1: Law of Conversation of Mass, Law of Natural Providence."
(( Oh. Oops.))
Frosty got up and walked away towards the medical station, trying to hide the pain as best as he could.
He saw the man with the coat earlier and some orange haired woman operating on what looks like some kind of weird robot.
"What's a robot doing in the medical bay?" He said.
Despite Jag's rather large size, the Sanghvi was not particularly heavy for Amelia to move. An trait owned to the Sanghvi's silicate structure.
Through did Jag looked onto in spite at it's supposed comrades, it nevertheless held back it's feelings of betrayal from the both and awaited the eventual procedure grudgingly.
"Switch to page 1535 on Vol. 1: Law of Conversation of Mass, Law of Natural Providence."
She picks the book up, flipping through it to the specified page.
"... um... Oh! Here it is!... Want me to hand it to you, or read it out loud like a teacher talking to her class?"
"Read the book like a Bible Preacher!"
"Oh boy... I hate church," she mumbles to herself, "Okay...*cough cough* *sniff*"
She then puts on a loud, booming voice that echoes around the lab, making sure everyone can hear it.
"The Law of Conservation of Mass states that matter can be changed from one form into another, mixtures can be separated or made, and pure substances can be decomposed, but the total amount of mass remains constant. The total mass of the universe is constant within measurable limits; whenever matter undergoes a change, the total mass of the products of the change is, within measurable limits, the same as the total mass of the reactants."
Amelia then goes back to her original voice for a second, "Continue reading?" she asks, smiling.
This whole striation reminded Jag the time it was captured by husk dealers on Eden 9 years ago, prepraing crave open it's shell and rip what they could from it sell later on the market, through at least Jag could move while under the heavy strapping just enough to free itself and do a little husk dealing itself later. This time Jag is completely paralyzed, unable to move an itch while under Abraxas's toxin.
Only nervously watch on as they both prepared for whatever they had planed.
"Law of Conversation of Mass: Energy and Matter nor created nor destroyed. Transfer. Law of Natural Natural Providence, object or material made up the same similar build up as it's related." He looked at Jag for a second. The Sanghvi said it himself. The ore was some what used to regen a shell, somehow.
There Amelia reminded him of the Laws now.
He took out the ore from the glass container and stared at it, placing it on top of Jag. He drew salt, sulfur and mercury. "Transmutation." He concluded he went to see Jag. Standing over the body and looking down. Abraxas went over bordering on the edge of the circle and placed his two hands together on the edge of the circle, performing the procedure.
"I need you to put your hands onto the edge of the circle beside me to perform this more effectively!"
"We better not be summoning a demon..." Amelia thought to herself. She then got down on her knees next to Abrax, hesitantly putting her hands on the circle. "This is... really strange..."
While under the influence of this paralyzing chemical, Jag used it's neural Implant to send an message in desperation.
Freelancer Taylor, I urgently requested that you are to stand by at the entrance of medbay. Ready to react at any moment on my word. Preferably with an weapon at hand in case of the worse. Owen grabbed a sandwich and ate it quickly, almost inhaling it. This, however, was simply not enough, so he grabbed another and repeated the process. By the time Owen sat back down at the table, his two sandwiches were gone. When Owen sat down, he started to say something. "Prospera, it's been over 2 years since I've been back there...track was pretty fun to drive, real tight and technical...hard for most people to pass" he chuckled a bit "course, I find a way." Owen then realized that he had been talking louder than intended.
Having served herself some tea in the barkeeps absence, she had sat quietly for herself drinking it while looking over stock and blackmarket prices for the materials that they had salvaged on her compass.
When she had finished her cup and put it down it suddenly struck her.
Yanim and Bucky were still out in the void, and the conditions could have gotten worse.
Very unlike her, she ran to the bridge and saw that the icy currents had reached dangerous levels.
She ran down to the holotable to locate the skiff.
She felt relief when both Bucky and Yanim were inside of it and heading back to the ship.
Yuga collected herself and contacted the skiff.
"Good to see you are returning. Has this last minute scavenge yielded anything of worth?"

Markus sat a table at the right side of the entrance to the sushi bar.
With his rifle lying on the table he had looking over an advert to the Terika-Belladonna company.
A welcomed change, he reckoned. Taking those air-headed mafia bosses on hunts had grown tiring since they made him do most of the work and took all the glory.
He looked up when Valkyrie and Maddox walked in.
An SDF fella trying to chat up a sheila? Now that's just fuckin typical of those jackboot facists.
He specifically eyed Maddox for a bit, then looked back to the advert.
Taylor walked back to her room, past the new guy who had proceeded to clean up the yellow goop that apparently was his blood. So strange. She arrived, then checked her holo-tablet in her bag. She switched it on, then checked her messages. Huh, one from Jag? She opened and read it.
"...stand by the entrance to the medbay with a gun? Why?" she muttered, scratching her head. She switched the tablet off, slipping it into one of the pockets of her cargos before grabbing her revolver from under her pillow. She walked down to the medbay, and stood at the entrance. Apparently Amelia and Abrax were working on Jag...and doing something with a strange circle on the floor.
The circle itself reminded her of some of the shit she had seen on Tartaros. Hopefully he's not summoning some daimons. Things would go south in here REALLY fast.

Abraxas nodded to Amelia and narrowed his eyes onto Jag. This was a dangerous procedure. Very dangerous. But if studied well and good of the natural sciences you could do well. As soon as Amelia's were on the edge the entire circle combining the entire properties of what they needed glowed a bright blue. Electric discharges encircled the Sanghvi. This normal transmutation generated light overall and the process was going well. Abrax breathed deeply. Suddenly he widened his eyes beneath his gas mask and saw the ore floating ominously. Then all of a sudden the entire matter of the unknown ore was dissolving into smaller particles. The Equivalent Exchange was occurring!. Abrax breathed once again so much Amelia could hear his own sounds.
The ore was transported to Jag's entire body. Both subjects glowed and were connected with the Transmutation circle. Abraxas urged to shield his eyes from such brightness but couldn't or else this entire operation would fail under his grasp. He ignored the urge and continued on as the ore was gone, being part of Jag himself. Then in the blink of an eye. The entire circle flashed and exploded into noise. Emitting a thunderous sound that echoed throughout the entire ship.
Unable to bear it, Abraxas shielded his eyes from the results and spotted the circle still intact. But Jag was still there. But yet, Abraxas closed in and rose from his feet. Studying the results. Jag was still there yet the cracks and wounds were all gone. But the ore was also. But in reality the ore wasn't gone at all. It simply followed the Law of Conversation of Mass, it became part of Jag and simply replaced the wounds. Jag was going to be fine. Abraxas nodded to himself and turned to Amelia, giving her a thumbs up.
"What the diddly dang squat just happened?" Amelia asked.
Abraxas walked forward and took off his respirator, revealing an entirely human face. His normal features finally revealed.
"Science happened."
"o_o"
Amelia looks at Abrax's facial features, completely and utterly shocked that he isn't an alien cyborg... thing...
Abraxas nodded and took off his headgear, showing his brown hair and looked over to Jag. "Alchemy is science. The ore is now apart of Jag in a way, filling up his wounds and simply transmuted. It's very complicated."
Frosty was hypnotized. There was something about this ritual that drew his attention, something in his mind was shaking, something trying to get out but couldn't.
"It's probably nothing." He thought. He decided to approach the two and extended his hand. "I'm sorry to be a bother, but is there something that you could do about this?" He said as he removed the now-yellow napkin around his finger.

Alex stopped cleaning for a bit a looked at Owen. "Reliving the old glory days? Don't worry, we all do that." He pointed towards one of the walls in the mess hall where two items hung. One was a picture of Alex and his former manager and friend, Kras. The other was the belt he took with him when he finally left pit fighting life behind.
