"So what do you do on board, Valk? You some more muscle, or command crew?"
"Engineer and advanced robotics technician. I'll be helping you and working on mechs, drones, sentries...stuff like that. And you, if you'd like." said Valkyrie, folding her arms as she watched Bucky lift the equipment up.
Frosty patrols the skies to ensure the safety of the Muramasa. He slides in between the docked ships and flashes his headlights to make sure evil isn't lurking about in the darkest places. (( Also, i'm considering changing the armament on his craft to make it more of a recon vessel instead of an all out fighter. Is this alright? ))

Last guy just sorta went quiet and left, been a nightmare keeping the Muramasa ship-shape, it's why you don't see me around the rest of the crew a lot." She looks at Valk, in her natural friendly sort of way. "And I wouldn't mind getting a second opinion on some of my bits and pieces. Gynoids are kind of designed to be phased out, makes getting replacement parts a bitch."
"Yeah. If it comes down to it, I could probably make you some replacement parts from scratch." said Valkyrie, looking Bucky over once again. "Should be three crates. One is the fuel rods, and the other two are the mining lasers. We could probably get a cargo trolley when we get outside to set this stuff on." ... Well, that's the weaponry being looked at. Taylor walked up into the mess hall, pausing briefly to pull out her holo-tablet. She typed up a message to Bucky, requesting her to take a look at and calibrate her EHE suit when she got the chance.

She finds a trolley and sets her crate down on it, wipes some dust off of her hands, and helps Valkyrie with her crate. When Bucky receives Taylor's message she grins. "Taylor needs me to do some work on her fancy new suit. Wanna help me with that when we're done? I'll need a fleshie to help me get the biometrics all ironed out." [heading to sleep. Will rise again in approx. 6 hours]
Jag begin to follow Taylor out of the armory, tailing behind her slowly making contact when they reached the mess hall. The Sanghvi made sure to not disturb or surprised her when it walk in font of Taylor. "Greetings, freelancer Taylor." Jag said as it entered the room.
((FT, have the engineers adapt the craft if you want to change its capabilities. Also, do you want me to perform a CH roll for your chance of detecting a hostile presence? I can't tell from the context of your post.)) Sylvia listened as Abraxas gave her a simple, dry explanation of what had happened during her unplanned vacation from consciousness. "Huh. So it's only been a couple of days, then. I suppose things could be worse," she remarked, shakily climbing out of the hospital bed and onto her feet. Her core wasn't fully healed, and she winced, but it was clear that Abraxas' treatment had worked. "Thanks," she said. --- The large man opened Aleksi's door with an electronic key, and nodded at Yanim. "Have fun," he said, gently pushing her forward into the suite. The door closed behind her, and for a moment she was alone with her thoughts and the sound of gentle, but tacky music emanating from somewhere within the suite. She tried to retrace her steps- before she was on the elevator, she remembered speaking to a man in a black suit with a gold tie... he didn't look like a Mafioso; his clothing was modern. He was definitely a business man. He said something about the Grand Prix, and about Aleksi Lebedz... Before the man with the gold tie, Yanim remembered a dark room, somewhere in the club under the building... she remembered the glowing bracelets. She looked down at herself and saw a fair number of them around her wrists and ankles. She traded something for them, what was it? Her train of thought was interrupted by a strange sound nearby which startled her. It turned out to be one of the trio of kanads she had encountered earlier in the night. She was passed out on a couch, naked and wrapped in a sheet, mumbling in her sleep. A door swung open and a short, ugly human man in a bathrobe strode out, carrying a bottle of semi-expensive vodka. In fact, he wasn't just short, he was actually a "little person," his head only coming up to Yanim's nose. It was instantly clear why he had a "thing" for kanad girls. "Wassat you, George? You got the next one for me? Ah!" his beady eyes settled on Yanim, and with his free hand he fished a pair of thick glasses out of his robe pocket. Flicking them dramatically onto his face, he then gave her a lecherous smile as he sized her up. "Oh, yes... Yes, yes, yes. Come over here darling." Yanim threw up in her mouth a bit. Aleksi's facial features were gaunt and sickly, his skin was dry and flaking, and his blond hair was universally thin on the top of his head, having been made worse by some stylist's ill-advised choice to spike it using gel. Yanim hated the way he was looking at her. For the first time in years, she was so simultaneously frightened, offended, disgusted, and unsure of herself that she felt like running away. Reminding herself of the task at hand, she steeled herself and suspended her mental cries for dignity. She sauntered over, doing her best to feign attraction to the mess of a man in front of her. Aleksi said nothing at first, merely shaking his head in astonished disbelief as he walked around her, taking in every angle. His breathing was audible and heavy. Yanim forcefully contained a shudder as she waited for her host to stop gawking. "I think you're the best I've ever seen," Aleksi said in a hushed, damp voice. "You're gonna love the things I make you do... and I'm gonna love the things I do to you," he continued. He came around front again, brushing a lock of Yanim's hair out of the way of her darkened goggles. "Let me see those eyes," he begged. Yanim un-darkened her lenses, revealing her hollow, violet eyes, staring somewhere between daggers and a thousand yards. Aleksi didn't seem deterred. "Oh... you're a spooky one," he said almost reverently. "I could worship your mystery," he whispered, caressing Yanim's cheek. She snapped. 7 x 1.25 x Malevolence(x2) = 17.5... 18 DMG Seizing his arm, Yanim suddenly spun the man around and kicked him in back of his leg, dropping him to his knees. Throwing her knee up against his upper back and neck, she gained leverage on his arm and pulled, dislocating it. Aleksi cried out in shock and pain, and Yanim, having regained her composure, let go of his wrist and shoved his face to the ground with her leg, slamming his upper body in the process. She pulled her pistol out of her waistband and pointed it at the door, waiting for the bodyguard to come bursting in. Strangely, nobody came. It was at that point that Yanim realized that her gun had no plasma cartridge in it. So that's what she traded for those neat, glowing bracelets. Shnka, I'm an idiot! she thought. "Ow... oh wow... ouch..." Aleksi whined. "How... did you know?" "Know what?" she spat. "This is..." he huffed, "this is like a... 'fantasy' of mine. Oh please, hurt me more, please. I've been so bad." Yanim took several steps back and vomited on the floor.
Hariim does a double-take. He's already got Sledge halfway through the mess hall door. "How you feelin' Holmes? Y'alright? You gave me a scare there when you keeled over like that, man."
"It happens," he replied, casually. He reached down and pocketed the mustache. He might need it for later.
"Taylor needs me to do some work on her fancy new suit. Wanna help me with that when we're done? I'll need a fleshie to help me get the biometrics all ironed out."
Valkyrie looked over at Bucky as she secured the last of the crates to the trolley. "Eh, fine." she said. She really didn't want to help Taylor, preferring to fuck the suit up so Taylor would get killed somehow, but she couldn't exactly do that with someone else working on the suit too. Guess she would actually have to help Taylor this time. "I'll be back soon. You can go ahead and screw around with the suit till I get back." she said, before pushing the trolley off towards the Kromm Armada ship. She arrived at the freighter's hangar a few minutes later, and asked for Hiesh. ... Taylor twitched slightly when she saw (and heard) Jag. "Hey, Jag. What's up?" she said, slipping her holo-tablet back into her pocket. Wow, this guy was stealthy.
((Also, do you want me to perform a CH roll for your chance of detecting a hostile presence? I can't tell from the context of your post.))
(( It was to show Frosty's doing his job, but now that you've said it, a roll wouldn't hurt. ))
(( Oh sorry about that Infab, I meant to say that Jag was not trying to disturb or surprised her. )) "While I was competing my tasks within the city away from rest of the crew. Did anything in particular happen towards the mission?" Jag asked while looking over the freelancer's new equipment.
"While I was competing my tasks within the city away from rest of the crew. Did anything in particular happen towards the mission?"
"Oh, Yuga found out who the racer we're after is, as well as the four guys that will be trying to make sure he wins it. The racer is Owen's uncle, Jeb Jackson. Ryan Schafer, Leo Farcau, Aleksi Lebedz, and Vran De'Valga are the ones that'll be making sure he wins it. We're gonna try to sabotage their chance of winning, and stick Owen in to win it for us." she states. "I'm in disguise so I can blend in better." She runs a hand through her short, now blonde hair.
Frosty: CH Estimate: 3/11 Actual: 4 Roll Failed. While Frosty's floodlights were, no doubt, impressively bright, they didn't reveal anything useful as of yet. If there was "evil" afoot, Frosty certainly couldn't tell it apart from the rest of the folks going about their business on Prospera. Perhaps the enemy was in disguise, making security all the more difficult... ((I'm going to bed now. I decided to take tomorrow off, and so my weekend starts early.))
"Oh, Yuga found out who the racer we're after is, as well as the four guys that will be trying to make sure he wins it. The racer is Owen's uncle, Jeb Jackson. "It's unfortunate that I'll be unable to join directly in the undercover operation due to my rather unique form but I'll see what I can do when the time comes nonetheless."
Maddox smiled as he gently put down the revolver. The two weapons had been easy to fix up, both had been maintained to the point where they'd work superb in combat. For the plasma shotgun he had done some work on the tech inside to make it more efficient, now with a brand new NewGen thermal capacitor the weapon was now less prone to overheating while also streamlining the powercell conduit, making each powercell have twice the capacity. This would increase the ammo pool greatly, something Maddox was sure Taylor would appreciate. Ontop of that he had added a thumb panel on the grip which allowed Taylor two switch between dispersed shots and charged up plasma bolts, the latter being more effective at hitting armored targets. Finally he had given it a brand new paintjob with a grey basecolor accompanied by white stripes here and there. Close to the muzzle a small depiction of a terran bull charging had been painted on in white. For the revolver, he hadn't done much. Aside from adding a holographic flip-up red dot sight projected ontop of the weapon he had only switched out some of the dated mechanics with new one, improving overall handling. Maddox sent a message to Taylor letting her know he was done, alongside a list of the work he had done. [editline]18th March 2016[/editline] The SSOID soldier clenched his fist not only because a man who looks like he had crawled up from a hole had exited the Muramasa and was now overlooking the dock area, but because a ship had detached and was now flashing its lights. "One, be advised. Possible threat of being compromised. Orders?" "One to Two, grab Three and relocate to Bravo." Wasting no time, the two soldiers carefully moved further into the shadows before disappearing completely from the area. The SDF had chosen to play it safe.
"It's unfortunate that I'll be unable to join directly in the undercover operation due to my rather unique form but I'll see what I can do when the time comes nonetheless."
Taylor nods, before feeling her holo-tablet vibrate. She checks it and sees the message from Maddox. The guns were ready! That was fast! "I'll be right back." she informs Jag, before turning and heading back down to the armory.
"I'll be right back."
Jag quietly nods towards Taylor in reply, turning to it's attention towards it's surrounds while it waited to resume it's conversation with the freelancer.
Alex nodded as Rask gave his instructions. "Understood. I'll stay on the ship until the race or anything arises." Alex left the bridge and went to the mess hall. Since he was already up, he mind as well prepare the food. Of course there were people already there. "Ah hell. Sorry guys. Things got in the way. Food will be done in an hour or so."
The Sanghvi was took it's time waiting to look over towards Alex, the soft-carbon seemed to be quite distressed about something as thermal signature was flared up quite a bit. Interested, Jag begin to slowly walk over towards the counter of the mess hall. "Greetings, Chef Korunov." Jag said clammily while leaning onto the counter. Lowering it's head to met just above the soft-carbon's eye level.
Alex looked up at Jag as he was putting on the chef apron. "Hi Jag. Don't have any of the special rocks you eat, so unfortunately I have nothing for you. Unless you developed a taste for whatever the crew ate."
"Hi Jag. Don't have any of the special rocks you eat, so unfortunately I have nothing for you. Unless you developed a taste for whatever the crew ate."
Jag let out audible chuckle at soft-carbon's suggestion."No fortunately, but I haven't met some of the newblood on board yet that I will be working with in the imminent future. I'm wondering if you could shed any light on them?" Jag asked.
"Haven't had the chance to really talk to them. That Valkerye girl and Taylor are 'friends' by the sound of it. Maddox and Markus looked like two polar opposites, so maybe keep an eye on them. I see there are new people in the mess too."
Jag looked at Alex as he explained to it about the new recruits on board. ''Any of them seem unstable or an possible risk to one another? Sorry if that sounds rude but I have to make sure as I'm putting mine and other lives into their hands." Jag asked while briefly glancing over it's left shoulder, looking over the occupants behind it before looking back towards Alex.
Maddox looked up as Taylor walked. He nodded towards the weapons. "Should be good to go, I recommend trying them out on the range." He sat down at his workbench with a datapad in hand. Soon, the entire crew got a message.
Maddox here, I got all the manufacturing up and running now. If you need me to take a look at your weapons or craft a entirely new design, let me know. Please keep any requests within reasonable limits, I won't make you a handheld deathlaser capable of shooting battleships out of the sky.

Valkyrie looked over at Bucky as she secured the last of the crates to the trolley. "Eh, fine." she said.
McGail walked up to Valkyrie, "Hiesh is discussing something with Captain Mihok, I'll take a look at the goods.". McGail scanned the fuel rods and quickly inspected the components of the lasers. He gestured to Svik and Lviv who were standing next to a Homkah truck with the vehicle and the suit loaded onto the bed. "These guys will come over and help you unload the stuff, nice doin' business with ya." he laxly saluted with a smile before walking away, a worker coming up in a loader to take the crates away. The truck rolled up next to Valkyrie, Svik leaning out the window, "You want lift?".
"Markus is itching for a fight if that's what you mean. I've seen a hundred of him before. Just point and he'll go. Valkyrie and Taylor sound like they have history." He said as he was chopping vegetables "The bad kind. But I trust Taylor to keep it in check."
Vakarus entered the mess hall. He nodded towards Jag and Alex. "Jag'kanour, Alex'vakrin." He sat down. "Is everything well?"
"Keep me posted about recent developments if could please." Jag muttered quietly, looking down at the counter to think about it's fellow freelancers before glancing over towards door as the vessel gunner entered the room. Jag turned to look over at the Vak'r soft-carbon as he sat down near the Sanghvi on one of the many stools nearby. "Greetings, Gunnery helmsmen Vakarus."
"Should be good to go, I recommend trying them out on the range."
"Alright. I'll have to try the heavy autoshotgun later when I have my suit on. As for 'Victor'..." she says, patting the shotgun before picking up the revolver. She stepped over and flipped open the cylinder. She slid three rounds in, then flicked the cylinder closed before stepping over to the range. She took aim at a target, and fired off a two shots. One with one hand, and another with both hands holding the revolver. She flipped up the red dot sight, and took aim again before firing off the last shot. All three center mass. Good. She flicked the cylinder out again, and emptied the spent .357 shells into a bucket nearby. Much smoother action, it seems. She smiled, before slipping the revolver into her jacket. She picked the autoshotgun up and carried it back up to the cargo hold, where her EHE suit was still sitting, before returning to the mess hall. ...
The truck rolled up next to Valkyrie, Svik leaning out the window, "You want lift?"
"Better than walking, so yeah." she said, climbing on. [Heading to bed. You guys have control of Valkyrie and Taylor.]
Is everything well?
"You heard Rask's orders. So less than perfect."
Keep me posted about recent developments if could please
"Will do. Oh, did anyone fill you in on the weapon caches?"
