"So I heard." Said Vakarus.
He leaned back in the chair. "Let me know if you require any assistance."

János hadn't done much since the group returned. In fact, he's mostly been at the Brig, looking up the emblem he saw on the mining vessel online. He keeps finding emblems similar to the one he saw, but no exact matches. At that moment, he received a message.
"Yo, John. You got some time? I never did get that training from ya."
As soon as he heard Bucky's message, he replied; "Yeah, I got time, been waiting for you to send me this message."
After sending his reply, he left the Brig in search for Bucky.
Jag turn to see that Taylor was back from the armory, it gave an simple nod and she nodded back, she seemed preoccupied with something so Jag decided to let her be.
"Will do. Oh, did anyone fill you in on the weapon caches?"
Jag turn its head back slowly towards Alex, seemly interested by the expression of its movement. "Thank you Chef Alexander and no, this is the first time I I'm hearing about this so please tell." Jag asked.
Maddox's message intrigued Frosty. Seeing how he had some old weapons in a case that may be in need of upgrading, he sent a reply back to him via radio.
Hello, Maddox. I understand you are a gunsmith, is this correct? When you are not busy, please inspect the weapons I have in a case which I placed against a wall right under the access panel. Vakarus called them old, and Taylor called them strange. I am worried they might not be as effective as I would like them to be, so an upgrade would be very much appreciated. Frosty out.

Let me know if you require any assistance.
"You're always there when I need you, buddy." He said as he started cutting up meat for the meal.
Thank you and no, this is the time I'm hearing about this.
"Strange. Probably forgot to inform you. There are five locations on the ship that are used to secretly store weapons. In case we get boarded and don't have weapons for some reason. The Boss thought of it after recalling some nasty experience with State Sec. You can notice them marked with a small blue X."
Will do.
Maddox

After replying to Frosty Maddox decided to do a quick jog to recover the weapons. He was back in the armory five minutes later where he began to look over the assorted guns.
-----
Vakarus smiled and nodded.
"Always, Kitchen Overlord."

"I'll keep that in mind in case of the worst, thank you again Chef Alexander." Jag said before bowing it's head to look down unto the stained counter, thinking back towards it's various missions and operations in the past. But again, it's was the identity of it's employer Terika that it's mind begin to focus and dell on.
Jag then turned it's head up back up, again looking towards Alex. "Chef Alexander, may I ask you to shed some light about our head employer. Ms. Terika?" Jag asked to Alex.
"Uh, sure. I haven't talked with her all that much, but I can try to answer your questions."
"Good, Chef Alexander. I would just know about the Head Employer Terika history with the State Security? What made this one so such perceived threat to them?" Jag asked, keeping it's voice low.
"All I know is that Rask was a part of an SS task force that caught her former crew and seized their ship. They fucked up, the crew broke free and took him and one other SS hostage. The reason his face is like that? One of the crew was a sadistic s.o.b. and went to town on him. Yanim later released him and and the other SS guy after she left her former crew. If you really want to know more, you can ask Rask, but good luck with that. He's rather sensitive about it. Or you could ask Vakarus. He spends more time with them." Alex explained as he was putting the spices to the food.
Vakarus shook his head. "I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to provide you with anything of use, I only know that this 'battle of Zeruel' was a sad time for Yanim'atvan, Rask'atvan and the Scaled-one."
-----
Maddox was confused. When Frosty had said that his weapons were old he hadn't expected this. He had been forced to look over a registry over ancient terran ballistic weapons to even get any hits.
Infront of him was a desert eagle, galil, uzi and a negev. All in perfect working condition.
Jag was very interested in this history Terika has with the State Security, she may very well important asset in furthering it's goals of dealing with the Collective later on.
"Very well, Chef Alexander." Jag said while turning over to face Vakarus. Interested in anything relating to Terika and her encounters with the Collective's State Security.
"I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to provide you with anything of use, I only know that this 'battle of Zeruel' was a sad time for Yanim'atvan, Rask'atvan and the Scaled-one."
"Thank you nonetheless, Gunnery helmsmen Vakarus," Jag replied before stating blanking into the wall behind Alex.
Thinking back to the year of 2383, now that was an very interesting year for Jag.
Ahaz stands at the bar, still a bit groggy. It's a calm moment so he puts his head down for a second
"Ah, the infamous battle of Zeruel. What a interesting event, a perfect example showing the threat that one individual can carry with the right connections and resources within their gasp. Shaping the rest of the civilized galaxy for the coming years...And a rather horrific one at that." Jag says, thinking back to it's role in that massive planetary siege that was committed that eventfully solar day.
Porter sits down at the bar, making an audiable "thud." He stares at Ahaz. Nothing strikes him as abnormal, just a lowly bartender. "What's to drink?" he asks Ahaz.
"Anything you want. The bar just got restocked and I pride myself on a wide range of liquors." Ahaz says. He starts cleaning out a mug.
Porter looks around, thinking about all the options. His cold breath flows out of his mask. "Just one shot, any alcohol will do," he orders.
Ahaz picks at random and pours Porter a shot.
Frosty buzzed Maddox once more.
Oh, how rude of me! Just where are my manners today? I forgot to say "thank you!" Still, I certainly hope my weapons aren't too old enough to have any kind of work done to them. I do not know how old they are, but I trust you can make them work!
Owen looks at the person who ordered a drink. "Be careful with that bartender, I've heard of people getting more than they bargained for with their orders. That is, if they even get what they ordered." Owen then gives the bartender a cold stare.
Minutes later, the truck carrying the racer and the mech arrived at the Muramasa. Valkyrie hopped out and assisted Svik and Lviv with unloading. Soon enough, the racer was sitting on the dock next to the Muramasa, as well as the decently sized combat mech. Valkyrie grinned, before pulling out her holo-tablet.
Owen, your new racer is here. Bucky, the mech is here if you want to check it out after we work on Taylor's suit.
- Valkyrie
"Thanks, guys." she said, waving at the Svik and Lviv as they departed. She went ahead and forwarded a few thousand credits to Hiesh on the freighter, as she promised, before slipping the holo-tablet into her pocket once again. She needed some tools and other gear before she could properly work on these things, as the tools she had in her bag on the ship were just basic equipment. The combat mech would need specialized tools. She decided to head into the city, walking off to find a mechanic's shop. She'd also grab the spray paint and tattoo supplies she had wanted earlier.

Taylor returned to the mess hall after returning her autoshotgun to the cargo hold where her suit was, finding Jag and the others talking. She walked over and propped on the counter. "So what's up?" she said, looking between them.
Bucky shoots John her current destination, and a message. "Just gotta help Taylor with her new suit, and then we can begin, ok? You can hang out with me and Valkyrie while we do the calibrations and stuff if you want."
Her SmartMatter[SUP]TM[/SUP] sheathed legs carry her to Taylor's suit. She pulls out her mini-comp and starts syncing with the suit's systems. She uses personal comms to call Taylor: "Hey, Taylor. I'm starting that work on your suit. Valk is gonna help me get the biometrics all figured out; shouldn't take long for your new threads to be good to go."
"So what's up?"
Jag picks it's head up, turning towards Taylor. "Ah, Greetings Freelancer Taylor. We we're just discussing an moment ago about the new blood the Employers picked up on world. Nothing particularly interesting I'm afraid."
Porter looks at the shot for a moment, then opens his mask up, only showing his lower face, although it's strange. He's black, but the only detail people can make out is a sillhouette of his mouth and chin.
He takes the shot in one sip, gulps, exhales, then puts his mask back on, accompanied by an airtight hiss. "Thanks," he compliments. Porter then cracks his neck, and looks out towards the rest of the crew. Studying them.
Owen, your new racer is here.
And just like that it was Christmas, or at least it felt like Christmas. Sadly, he wouldn't have the opportunity to drive it around the track until the race, but Owen knew that the new racer would have to be tuned to a setup that he liked. In truth, Owen always liked the car to handle a bit looser (oversteer) than a lot of his competitors. That's when a look of panic started to show on Owen's face. He had no idea what track the racer was tuned for. Hopefully it was another road course, but the thought struck Owen.
"Oh dear, I hope it's not an oval setup, a 'Dega setup here?..." Owen said out loud. He remembered that there are a few engineers on board, but any chance that the new racer would be tuned was slim to none. Luckily, finding a setup for Prospera Intergalactic Raceway wasn't too hard to find, since the weather was consistent and always "under the lights."
Engineers, if possible, see if you can tune the racer to ((specifications for tire pressure, camber, gearing, and a host of other things)). I have no idea how this new racer would handle in the race
- Owen
[just out of curiosity, are we envisioning this racer to be more of an open wheel like Indy or F-1 cars or more of a stock car like NASCAR. I was thinking more of the latter. Also, sorry for being vague about the setup in the message, but for the sake of simplicity I hope everyone's ok with it.]
"Ah, Greetings Freelancer Taylor. We we're just discussing an moment ago about the new blood the Employers picked up on world. Nothing particularly interesting I'm afraid."
"Ah, yeah. I don't know much about the others, but me and Valkyrie go back a few years." said Taylor, nodding. She felt her holo-tablet vibrate, so she checked her messages. Bucky was starting work on her suit. Great!
Alright. By the way, make sure that's the only thing Valkyrie does for the suit. I'm serious.
- T. Caine
She pocketed the holo-tablet, then returns to the conversation. "Valkyrie's a pirate, pure and simple."
...
A short while later, Valkyrie had all the tools she needed, as well as numerous spray paint cans and a bag full of tattoo supplies. She also swung by Arms & Armor and purchased a nice machine pistol and some ammo. She'd be set for a while. She grinned, as she strolled back to the Muramasa. She received a message from Owen about the racer as she walked.
Alright, I can take a look at it for ya with Bucky.
- Valkyrie
"Freelancer Taylor.", Jag said abruptly while shifting over it's body towards her facing, "Did ever happen to come across the individuals I had warned you about earlier? Particularly the ones barring masks and dark tinted visors, the checkered pattern individuals are...No longer a considerable concern." Jag stated in an rather dry tone to the freelancer.
After flying around the port and seeing many of the buildings in the horizon, Frosty felt he had to explore a bit more on foot. Radio turned on, he messaged to all crew members in the area:
"I hope I'm not interrupting, but after seeing many of the shops and stores down below, I would like to see what kind of wares they have. Unfortunately, I wasn't unfrozen with any money. So is anyone willing to spare some change for someone like me? I would be very grateful, though I don't know if I'll be able to pay you back until I receive some form of pay from the boss."
