(( I was under the impression the cars were on the road, and that everyone fled due to the fighting. Please don't ground me, dad. ))

Frosty shook his head at his own ignorance.
"I'm sorry! It's been a while ever since I've fought, almost four hundred years for goodness sake! Missiles unarmed, switching to lasers."
Yuga looked over the projections, showing the situation unfold.
"Mr.M'baal, inform the ground team that reinforcements are on the way. If they can garner enough attention, our additional mercenaries can deal a decisive blow in from the rear."
Yuga flipped open her compass and absorbed some vapors.
"Further more, to preserve the integrity of the final operation, I advise you to cut the mafioso that are present down to the last man." She concluded with narrowed eyes.
Jag stood patiently among the deserted rooftops, looming over it's comrades from above the alleyways while they entered the bar. It's shifted it's focus onto a rather familiar individual talking with several old pursuers of the Sanghvi in question. His expressions towards them were that of frustration, mostly directed at the two men questioning the heavily armored titian that stood before them.
Truly, the arrogance of TriEnterpise's agents knew no bonds.
However, Jag's attention was quickly turned to the gunfire around the bar. Most likely directed at it's comrades. Hastily, Jag rushed to get an vantage point of the attackers on the below.

"Roger that, ma'am. Already been gathering up our mercs." Hariim replies, and wrangles together all the combat crew's comms onto a shared channel. He pipes the sound of his voice in through his cybernetics. "All combat personnel not currently at the hotel, this is Hariim. Gather at the Muramasa effective immediately, and then move on to the location I'm uploading to all of your devices." He shoots the location into the team's mobile devices, and also flashes a listing of bullet points detailing what exactly they'll be charging into. "This is a combat operation. Tool up, and get together, then press on the mafioso, cut them down. No survivors."
"Hotel Team, hold your line. You've got the cover advantage at the moment, so use it. We'll have reinforcements over to you as soon as we can!"

Bucky goes down to the brig to look for John, she's already consulted with the ship's systems over wireless connection and has the ship's drives warm up in case the crew needs to bolt offworld, she also puts all the security systems on standby. She calls out to John once she gets into the brig: "John?! You hear what's going on?"
Frosty, heeding Hariim's words, tries to do something different. He flies above the mafia's cars and tilts his craft at a 90 degree angle. He then carefully and precisefully fires his lasers in the areas where the cars tires would be, while also taking great care to not hit the engines.
János was concentrated on his searching that Bucky's callout spooked him slightly, causing him to jump up. He turned towards Bucky. "W-what's going on?!" he asked.

Bucky walks over to Janos, she explains while she does. "Some of the crew got jumped in a hotel. Sounds like the bridge crew has us going down the warpath. Think we should get some guns and go help?" She seems concerned, her eyes a little wider than usual.
János scratched the back of his head and shrugged. "If numbers are needed, we could help," he said.

"I think they are. C'mon, I'll need to borrow your plasma pistol again." Bucky says and takes Janons by the hand, almost literally dragging him out of the brig.
"A-alright, alright," János said, as he didn't fight back against Bucky's dragging. "We'll have to stop by my room to get the pistol," he said, as they walked in the general direction of his quarters.
At his quarters, he quickly grabbed his C269 and gave it to Bucky. "Walther and Mauser; quite the pair, I'd say," he quipped.
Bucky checks the pistol over, and molds her SmartMatter outer skin to better grip the gun. "Yeah, I guess." She replies, not understanding the meaning or relation of the names. "You got extra charge packs and stuff?"
Soon Mad, Koval and Amy were in visible range of the hotel. Observing the situation unfold, Maddox grabbed some cover. "Take cover, we can hit them from the side."
He peeked over the cover. "Hotel team, be advised. Team two is on-site and ready to assist."
((I'm sorry about the sporadic updates. I'm trying to get caught up with classwork after last week and also I've got a girlfriend now so I've been very busy.))
Alex: 7 x Contender(1.5) = 10.5... 11 DMG
The first hitman was caught off guard by the sudden slam into the hardwood of the bar, taking a painful knock to the head. Alex then used his advantage to hoist the man over the counter and dump him into the floor, where he would have trouble firing his weapon. The Mafioso fell arms-first, rolling forward onto his back, surprising Alex with a melee counterattack.
Hitman 1: 10 x Crit(CH 1/2, 1, Failed, x1) x Territory(3) = 30
Alex: DEF Roll = 4
26 DMG
Alex HP: 99/125
First throwing an elbow, the Mafioso caught Alex in the jaw before attacking him with the buttstock of his SMG. Blood gushed out of Alex's nose- what he had done to the hitman, the hitman returned with a vengeance.
Elsewhere, Sledge swung his hammer like it was a golf club, hoping to do something productive using the heavy table in front of him.
CH Estimate: 5/7
Actual: 2
Roll Failed.
The hammer blew a perfectly-circular hole through the center of the table, sending it precisely nowhere. Sledge dropped back down into cover as shots rang out in his direction, dislodging his weapon from the hole in the process.
As the initial storm died down and a few of the hitmen began to reload, Porter emerged from behind cover. He raised his SMG and endeavored to spray them all down, if possible. This maneuver was both heroic as well as incredibly ill-advised. The hitmen were smart enough to scatter and dive, as well as return fire. It would take a supreme level of concentration to attack this many targets at once, as well as to not break down from the strength of the counterattack...
CH Estimate: 1/7
Actual: 7
Roll Passed.
...but Porter was craftier than them, keeping his sights on one target at a time, and not allowing himself to be overwhelmed by enemy movements or counterattacks. Nearly every one of the hitmen suffered a bullet wound as a result of the daring maneuver, even as they poured lead back at their enemy.
Porter: {8, 7, 10, 7, 4, 5, 2, 3, 2, 7, 4} x (No Feat Applicable) = 59 DMG Spread Across Hitmen 2-12.
Porter's augmented body received an absolute thrashing from 11 enemies, each firing whenever possible.
Hitmen 2-12: {6, 9, 8, 6, 1, 8, 4, 9, 2, 9, 1} x Territory(3) = {18, 27, 24, 18, 3, 24, 12, 27, 6, 27, 3} = 189
Porter DEF Rolls: {4, 4, 3, 6, 10, 9, 2, 9, 3, 5, 7} = 62
127 Total Damage
Porter HP: -27/100
Total Incapacitation.
Despite the complete disregard for his own safety, Porter managed to attack everyone all at the same time, with the exception of the one hitman behind the bar, tangling with Alex. And he nearly survived the combined assault of all 11 men at once, too. But now he was out of ammunition, and the damage inflicted throughout his body suddenly manifested itself all at once. He collapsed, not quite bleeding out, but rather splashing out, as his body was simply no longer whole.
((We can rebuild him... obviously, since he was clearly rebuilt once before. But he's out for the count until Chapter 2 begins, unless Otterman decides that this is the end of the road for Porter, taken too soon.))
Taylor was the next to act. She witnessed Porter's heroism, and after the initial shock wore off, she set about attacking with her auto shotgun against the closest enemy to her. The hitmen, having run out of ammunition again trying to take down the augmented security officer, had no ability to fight back in the immediate aftermath. Taylor's attack, as well as anyone else's, would go unanswered for the time being.
Taylor: 4 x Versatility(CH 1/4, 4, Passed, x2) x Machinist(1.25) = 10 DMG
The second hitman was hit in his center of mass, the force of the blast blowing his already punctured body open in several places. He was knocked completely off his feet and taken out of the battle.
Enemy Neutralized.
Yanim cursed under her breath as the violence inside the bar intensified. A cry came over the radio- Porter was down. Her crew was under attack, and she wasn't in a proper position to lead them. One by one, she addressed the various voices crowding the comm system and clarifying the operation, lending her approval to the current course of action. It was all she could do without having the sort of information that Yuga and Hariim were working with, and so she deferred to them.
Hotel team, be advised. Team two is on-site and ready to assist.
"Where at?" she replied. "I'm on site as well, can you see me?" It took only a moment before Yanim was spotted by the second team, and she soon found them as well. While Dio was free to stay in cover or join the fight, Yanim worked her way closer toward the crew, preparing to ambush the remaining hitmen from the opposite angle as the rest of the second team. The most important matter was getting inside to recover Porter, to see if anything could be done to save him.
Meanwhile, Frosty looked down from above. Having gotten approval to disable the enemy vehicles without the use of heavy ordinance, he focused laser fire on the corners of the large sedans.
CH Estimate: 3/4
Actual: 2
Roll Passed.
One by one, lasers plunged out of the sky, striking the vehicles with surgical precision. The heat alone was enough to blow the tires out, but additional damage was done to the body and suspension systems. Before the mobsters even knew what was happening, their cars were made useless by the maneuver.
Fuck, Porter's down. "Hariim! If you need it, connect to my helmet cam! Might help with tactics!" she said, as she switched the firing mode on the autoshotgun. From charged shot to automatic. Time to unleash hell. She took aim, and sprayed multiple rapid bursts of hot plasma at the nearest goons, who were attempting to reload behind a table nearby, before ducking back behind the table next to her.
Maddox pulled out a rifle from his backpack and tossed it to Yanim.
"Boss! Use this compact carbine, it has a integrated IFF-enabled smart firing system, meaning you can curve bullets without the risk of friendly fire."
Markus had fished out his rifle and was aiming through a window to the bar where 3 mafioso were taking cover behind a knocked over table, completely exposed to him from this angle.
He zoned in on one of the three and steadied his sight.
the little sheeps can naught but stay, when the big bad wolf come out to play
He pulled the trigger, sending away a .50 caliber projectile with a thunderous boom.
"I assume this is going to be part of my interview then." Dio smiled menacingly as he decided to join the fight as well, reaching into his coat for his knives.
Alex looked at the hitman, he spat blood in his eyes and reached for one of the bottles in the bar. It was one of those heavy glass ones, meant to contain the more rare beverages. Perfect. He used the bottle as a weapon to shatter the bones in the hitman's arm holding the gun. [Using Contender here]

Amy had positioned herself in one of the shops that was abandoned when the shooting started. She could see the mafia goons scrambling to handle the team inside. She took aim and fired at the most exposed one she could find.
Her steps echoed through the hall as she ventured forth towards the door. With a gun in her holster, beret on her head and polished black boots on her feet Valerie Reed could not be mistaken to be anyone else but a navy officer. A Sol System Navy officer to be precise.
Two security officers snapped into a salute as she reached the door and pulled out her keycard. After a quick swipe the doors slid open, revealing the bridge.
"Captain on deck!" Yelled one of the officers, causing all officers present on the bridge to rise up and salute.
"As you were." Said Valerie as she made her way towards the captain's chair. Sitting down, she looked to her right where a man was occupied infront of a terminal.
"Chief Officer Stevens, report."
The man turned his head. "Captain, transmission awaiting your response on channel one-alpha. Security clearance identifies the caller as Admiral Zhaneys."
Valerie raised an eyebrow. "Patch him through."
"Aye aye, patching through."
Rotating her chair slightly to the left, Valerie was now facing a holoscreen showing an aged man of russian descent wearing the white SSN admiral's uniform. He greeted Valerie with a nod.
"Captain Reed, good to see you again. How's Mars?"
Valerie returned the nod and smiled. "Glad to see you as well, sir. Mars is doing well, there's been fewer smuggling operations now that the SDF is on high alert so the crew has been able to rest for a bit longer."
She paused and grimaced. "Forgive me admiral but as much as I love talking with you, I assume you contacted me for other reasons and not exchange small-talk."
Zhaneys nodded. "Right to the point as always captain, you are correct; I didn't contact you just for a chat."
He stood up from his chair and stroked his beard. "Three hours ago I talked with Lord General Cross who informed me that, due to recent events, he's putting together a experimental warfare unit comprised of personnel from all of the SDF branches. He asked me if I knew a captain who'd be willing to take the fight to the enemy, a captain who isn't afraid of risks. I told him I'd have to call him later because the captain I had in mind is patrolling Mars."
"It's a dangerous job, but this warfare group Cross is building could use someone like you Reed. You and your crew have proven more than once that you're capable of adapting to the situation. So what do you say?"
Valerie was confused. A warfare group created by Kaspar Cross himself was bound to have a key role in the ongoing conflict. As much as she loved keeping Mars secured, her ship, the SNV Shadow, had been built in the first place for the sole purpose of conducting fast and lethal operations. It wasn't exactly the normal gunboat used by the SSN to patrol shipping lanes and such.
She turned around and looked at her crew. All their eyes were fixed on her. Chief Officer Stevens nodded to her. "We're with you Captain, whatever you decide."
Valerie smiled. She knew he wasn't lying, her crew was loyal and they'd follow through no matter what.
After taking a deep breath she turned to the holoscreen.
"It would be an honor, sir."

"This is AS Control, come in SFX One."
"SFX One here, go ahead AS Control."
"You're clear for landing, pad eleven. Info has been relayed to your ship. All onboard personnel are to remain inside untill security personnel says otherwise. How copy, over?"
"Acknowledged AS Control, pad eleven. Await further instructions following touchdown. SFX One out."
Soon the dropship touched down, landing at the designated landing zone marked with a big '11' in white stencil text. A door opened up, letting the cold and millions of raindrops gain entrance to the warm corridors of the base.
A team of six soldiers wearing raincoats over their armor moved out and began scanning the ship under cover by two marksmen positioned on two partially camouflaged balconies, hidden amongst the rocky mountains which surrounded the base.
When all soldiers had given a thumbs up the squad leader turned to the control tower and waved his arms three times while holding two green lights. In response the two marksmen returned to their neutral stance instead of aiming at the ship.
Skip ahead a few minutes later and the twenty soldiers in black armor walked through a long corridor with decisive steps. Xerxes removed his helmet and held it closely to his body.
Their steps echoed, turning it into a synchronized drum-like sound.
A pair of guards saluted and opened up the door at the far end of the corridor, revealing a meeting room with a large crescent-shaped table facing towards one of the walls.
Beyond the sleek white table and the many chairs positioned at its side was a large holoscreen the size of at least two tanks, had they been stacked ontop of eachother.
Xerxes and the rest of Strikeforce Xerxes nodded as two more groups of men and women in black armor turned to greet them.
Extending his hand, Xerxes greeted the two other squad leaders. "Ares, Zeus. Good to see you."
Ares and Zeus nodded. "Likewise Xerxes, you got the same message as us?"
Xerxes nodded. "The one about a warfare group? Yes, I did."
Before he could say anything else, the holoscreen flickered and turned on. On the screen was the worn face of Lord General Cross.
All the soldiers snapped into a salute.
Kaspar nodded. "At ease, soldiers. Please be seated."
Complying, the three groups of soldiers quickly sat down with Strikeforce Ares at the center section of the table, sided by Zeus on the left and by Xerxes on the right.
"Good, let's get started."
The screen flickered once more as Lord General Kaspar Cross transformed into man-sized hologram standing infront of the screen which had changed as well, showing the planet Novithus with the city Hoxith marked as a red dot while SDF bases and units were marked as blue.
"As you all know, we're at war. Both the Divinity Creed and the Lunar Children have increased the scale and number of attacks against Sol targets, civilian and military, while also engaging our allies. For the past week you have all worked to counter these aggressions. While you have succeeded, the attacks are still going. That is something we hope to put an end to."
Cross paused and looked at each and everyone of the soldiers. "How? Well, by knocking out their command. The SSOID recently acquired new intelligence which they let me, under protest, share with you. They have found a third party, a hidden entity working behind the scenes. We finally have a answer on how these fanatics have managed to organize themselves to a level which would normally take years for them to achieve.
While this entity is still unnamed, we are no referring to them as Three. In a week the entire SDF will have this information alongside the people we fight for, the reason I am telling you now is because I intend to strike at them and hopefully cripple them before they realize that we know about them.
To do this I had to talk to High Councilor Wayford himself alongside Administrator Vale and SSOID Director Williams, asking them to approve my plan. Which they did."
He clenched one of his fist and continued to walk around while speaking. "The Sol Tactical Warfare Group, or STWG for short, will include soldiers and officers from all of SDF and the SSOID. This group will be the absolute elite, the best men and women we have. I already have a ship on the way, the SNV Shadow, but I need a strikeforce or well, three strikeforces working as one. I already have some of the best pilots from the SSN and SSAF inbound to meet with us alongside veteran officers from the SSMC and SSA to fill the ranks.
But I need you, the cloak and dagger of the SDF, to complete it all. Ontop of that, you'll be under the command of a ex-SSFD soldier who recently got back into duty: Commander Gladius."
Just as Cross finished his sentence a door on the far side of the room opened up, revealing a large armored figure.
Walking towards the table with slow steps the identity of the soldier remained unknown as armor covered practically every inch of its body.
Putting down its heavy weapon on the floor, the figure crossed its arms. "Commander Gladius, reporting for duty." Said a dark and robot-like voice.
Ares, Zeus and Xerxes turned to the Lord General. "We're in."
Dammit. Sledge was going to need either a bigger hammer or a smaller table. As he dislodged his weapon he watched Porter throw himself at the enemy and basically die. Holy shit. Alex was bleeding like a fire hose from his nose. Okay Sledge needed to get into this fight, pronto. He hurdled over the table and ran at Generic Mafia Goon #7, swinging his hammer at his head.
Frosty opened comms.
"Enemy vehicles disabled! They won't be able to mobilize and give chase when you escape!"
He began to descend slowly and tilted his starfighter back as he looked around for any mafioso outside to vaporize, using only one laser at a time to ensure minimal collateral damage if possible.
(( Roll. ))
"You got extra charge packs and stuff?"
"Not many, as far as I recall," János said, as he checked how many he had. "I have about 4."
Hariim connects and taps into Taylor's helmet cam, and integrates the feed he gets from it into the display on the holo-table, fitting it in next to the feeds he's getting from the hotel's cameras and sensors. "I've got your feed, thanks for calling it out!" He says as he analyzes the situation, using his own experience as a marine, and predictive modeling from his cybernetics. [roll to figure out a tactical solution for the encounter]
–--------------------------------------
Bucky nods, and stashes the pistol in her pocket. "Go get them, and then we'll head out." Bucky says. Once John gets her the charge packs, and whatever he needs, she leads the way out of the ship and to the hotel.

Valkyrie toiled away at the machine she was building, hoping to have it ready for combat in just a few minutes. It wouldn't have much armor, but it'd be more than capable of supporting the others and the idiots that got themselves in a firefight. "Connect this here...and that there...pop this in here...and...done!" she muttered, before stepping back and looking at the newly constructed drone. She had to use the power pack that the suit came with as the drone's power source. No heavy duty fusion cell like she wanted. She also constructed a rather large industrial flamethrower for one of its arms, using one of the plasma canisters for Taylor's heavy autoshotgun. Alongside that, she fitted one of the laser rifles from the armory onto the other arm. It'd at least have a ranged weapon now.
"Now, lets see if you actually start up." she said, looking the rather large drone over. She reached over and grabbed her holo-tablet, wirelessly connected it to the drone, and proceeded to punch in line after line of code. A few moments later, she finally hit a button to start the drone.
[Rolling to see if it actually starts.]
((In my previous post, I miscalculated Taylor's DMG roll by multiplying by 1.5 instead of 1.25 like I was supposed to. Accordingly, I've changed the damage and outcome to reflect an enemy neutralization instead of an elimination.))
Taylor: {4, 7, 4} x Versatility(CH 1/4, 3, Failed, x1) x Machinist(1.25) = {5, 8.75... 9, 5} = 19 DMG Spread Across Hitmen 3-5
Pressing on while the enemy was still off-balance, Taylor fired several more times without ducking into cover, but the mobsters weren't so easily hit as before. The three closest to her took a peppering, but the rest were too well-covered to be hit for the moment, and even as she felt her training had prepared her for this sort of fight, the image of Porter being gunned down discouraged her from going full-Rambo.
Markus: 7 x Ambusher(x3) = 21 DMG
From a window across the street, a shot rang out which signaled death for one of the hitmen inside the bar. The three that had been hit by Taylor dropped back behind one of the overturned tables, exposing themselves to Markus' sights. Accordingly, the grizzled mercenary put a shot on target which impacted the Mafioso between the shoulder blades and exited through his sternum, blowing a cavity through his arteries along the way.
Enemy Eliminated.
"Holy shit, watch out!" one of the remaining hitmen cried out upon seeing the blood spatter on the wooden surface in front of him. It was one of the only discernable shouts among the chaos of the shootout. The other two men, having finished reloading, jumped to their right along the wall of the bar opposite the counter, and rejoined the rest of their team for a coordinated counterattack.
Amy: Attack Invalidated.
Taking aim from across the street, Amy hoped to fire on the enemy inside, just as Markus had done. However, with the threat of sniper fire now made apparent to the Mafia, they had cleared away from the window which served as Amy and Markus's vantage point.
Meanwhile, Alex had seized onto a bottle behind the bar and swung hard against the one enemy he had pulled into a melee.
Alex: 5 x Contender(x1.5) + Contender(15) = 22.5... 23 DMG
The hitman was disarmed by the impact, which also shattered his radius. The bottle broke in the process, slicing the skin open and drenching him in high-dollar vodka; Alex discarded it and simply followed it up with a powerful uppercut which knocked his enemy out for good.
Enemy Neutralized.
Sledge had chosen this moment to charge the enemy, exposing himself to their fire in the process while he closed in on his target- three hitmen raised their weapons and unloaded simultaneously.
Hitmen 4-6: {5, 1, 4} x Territory(x3) = {15, 3, 12} = 30
Sledge DEF Rolls: {3, 3, 2} = 8
22 Total Damage
Sledge HP: 103/125
Juggernaut: CH 1/2, 1, Failed.
Sledge: 9 x (No Feat Applicable) = 9 DMG
Swinging for the head, Sledge missed on his first attempt, partially due to his drunkenness and partially because the hitman had ducked. But Sledge was still close enough to pivot back with a rising second swing and tag the Mafioso in his hip, breaking the bone and sending him careening into the air. He rolled painfully over an overturned chair and clinched his body. The other men, startled by Sledge's resilience in the face of being shot, panicked a moment.
Enemy Neutralized.
"Boss! Use this compact carbine, it has a integrated IFF-enabled smart firing system, meaning you can curve bullets without the risk of friendly fire."
Yanim nodded as she received the unfamiliar weapon from Maddox. She preferred plasma-based devices, but this would do for the time being. "Yakka, thank you teres. We attack on my signal!"
"I assume this is going to be part of my interview then," Dio remarked as he joined them. Maddox looked confused, but Yanim clarified by pointing at Dio over her shoulder.
"He's with us," she said, before turning her attention to the comm. "Muramasa, what's our route of escape?"
---
Hariim:
CH Estimate: 3/5
Actual: 4
Roll Passed.
Hariim was already working on figuring out the tactical solution when Yanim demanded a path of escape. The latter was fearful of reinforcements arriving by street, and involving the ship itself in any sort of extraction scheme was obviously out of the question, as it would blow the only remaining cover that the crew had. Smartly, Hariim considered a subterranean option, and within moments, had found engineering notes about the hotel's security systems which indicated the presence of a tunnel under the building.
"There's a utility tunnel under the building," Hariim explained. "Taylor, do you see that door at the back of the room? It should lead into the staff-only section of the lobby floor. There's bound to be a server room near the elevator shafts; the tunnel should be below. You might need to plant a charge to get through the floor, though."
Good plan, Hariim. We're ready to move in.
---
Valkyrie:
CH Estimate: 7/10
Actual: 1
Something catastrophic happened as soon as Val hit the power- some mistake in the power supply layout simply fried the logic boards of the drone, preventing it from even booting. It would not be available for battle.
---
Frosty: Action invalidated.
Frosty was still searching for a way to contribute, hoping the soften up the Mafia's resistance before the coming charge. Unfortunately, all of the potential targets were either inside the building or hiding inside the now-immobile cars.
"Frosty," Yanim said over the comm as she saw his fighter in the air above, "see if there are any more black cars closing in on this position. We need to cut off reinforcements before they can arrive. Markus, Amy, watch the entrances in case any more come on foot." Narrowing her eyes as she disabled the safety on her rifle, Yanim took one last glance at the other fighters in her team. "Take no prisoners, and we don't leave without Porter!" They acknowledged the order, and Yanim waived them forward onto the attack.
"Copy that boss, I'm ready to move on your mark." Said Maddox, having prepared his weapon.
He activated the built-in rangefinder in his visor to scan the area.
"We got some civilian vehicles not far from here that we could use for cover."
"Taylor, do you see that door at the back of the room? It should lead into the staff-only section of the lobby floor. There's bound to be a server room near the elevator shafts; the tunnel should be below. You might need to plant a charge to get through the floor, though."
"Roger that, can probably get one off Porter's body if he brought any." she responded. She looked towards the back of the hotel's bar, and saw the door Hariim had mentioned. Perfect. She darted over, before grabbing Porter's body and dragging him back behind a table. She checked him, and found an explosive charge in one of his pockets. Wow, this guy came prepared. She slipped it into a slot on the EHE suit's belt, then quickly moved to the door. She jiggled the handle, attempting to open it. Shit. Locked.
She took three steps back. She'd have to kick it open. She got prepared, then marched two steps forwards before planting the heel of her boot into the door, right next to the handle. Hopefully with the built-in exosuit's help, the lock would shatter.
[Rolling for a shattered lock.]
....
Valkyrie waved her hand in front of her face, after witnessing sparks shoot from the drone's chest. Shit, SOMETHING was fried. And it smelled bad. Probably shitty wiring and a fucked up logic board, since it wouldn't boot. Well, this drone's a dud now till she can replace the boards and wiring. She sighed, then began dismantling the drone. Soon enough, it was in a pile again, which she carried aboard the Muramasa piece by piece till it was all moved. She then packed up her tools and paint, and carried them back aboard as well.
Frosty climbed high and began to do circles around the hotel, while also carefully looking out for any suspicious black vehicles headed towards it. He had an idea, and radioed Hariim, as a few extra views of the roads wouldn't hurt.
"Hariim, are you able to send me some street camera feeds?"
(( roll for detection, btw ))
Alex spat out more blood as he prepared to move. He got lucky with this goon, but the rest were heavily armed. Maybe he could even the odds a bit. He picked up the gun that belonged to the hitman. He didn't have any training, but how hard could it be, right? He moved closer to Taylor as the mafia we're probably preparing to counter attack. "When that door is open, I'll carry Porter out. You can deal with these fuckers better." He peeked and noticed Owen still laying on the floor out of fear "Owen, move! You stay there, you're dead!" Alex fired a few shots off towards the mafia and ducked behind the table.

"Yes maam!" Amy said as she looked towards the entrance. The mafia were now hiding and we're going to be a harder target to hit. She just had to show a bit of patience on her part. One of the goons let his curiosity get the better of him and peeked out to see who was coming. She took the shot.
Owen heard Alex yell at him and Owen scrambled behind an overturned table. He wasn't in a position to attack the mobsters, he would have to ride this out.
