Markus slipped into cover behind one of the window arches and let out a delighted chuckle as he ejected a hot 50. shell and reloading. He carefully peaked out of the window to asses the situation. He opened his communicator. "Boss, I think we should deal with the mobsters in the cars before doing anythin' else." ... Yuga listened carefully. "Mr Koval brings up a valid. I advice you neutralize the mafia gunmen who are still in the cars. When the other team has moved Mr Porter to safety, you can move in and finish off the stragglers. Then you can exit through the service tunnel with the other team." Yuga turned to Hariim, "Mr M'baal, when the you deem them no longer useful I require you to wipe all security footage from the hotel and the street cameras on the road outside." She pressed the comm button once again, this time going only to Valkyrie so not to disturb the battle. Ms Blackwell, are there any Pirate business cards we can leave on the scene to throw the mafia of our trail for a short amount of time? Preferably a group that has a bad standing with the mafia." ... Meanwhile, at the edge of the north western sector of the galaxy there was an abandoned mining vessel still anchored to an asteroid. It would have been of no interest to anyone if it not for a small detail. 7 small ships gathered around it, all with well known insignia's. Within the hull of this mining vessel, known presently as the Chasers Grave, was a meeting being conducted, the Gathering of the Blades. The control room of the vessel was refurbished into a small conference room, with a round table accompanied by seven chairs and behind each a banner. The vessel was usually empty, but at this time all the chairs were occupied by pirate leaders and their entourages. Blackstar, Kromm Armada, Hellion, The Steel Horde, Golden Fangs, Daggers Marauders and Aabiuss'alan, all with their respected leaders present and accounted for. A khergian man, draped in a heavy fur bomberjacket slammed his fist on the table, "You stupid!" he exclaimed, "Why we must fight? No good, when SDF get power they turn on us!" A murmur went through the crowd. A Aracaan started rubbing his mandibles together, producing the strange aracaanan language. His first mate, with 4 of his arms behind his back while the other was resting on his saber hilt and on his captains chair. He leant in closer to make sure he translated correctly. He straightened his posture. "High Captain Kssshuraxx agreesss with High Captain Levko. We mussst not choossse a ssside, but remain neutral and profit from thisss war." the first mate declared, with a hissing voice as his mandible vibrated as he spoke. Some nodded to this declaration whilst others remained unfazed, concealing their agendas. An man with graying brown hair tied into a short ponytail, muttonchops and a worn SDF majors coat with it's arms and insignia's torn off sat and toyed with a coin using his finger. "This proposition is starting to sound more and more unreasonable by the minute, Kromm." he quipped, tossing a coin up and catching it. High Captain Wana Kromm growled slightly and brandished his fangs to the man who had just spoken, High Captain Gerald Daggers. Daggers rose up from his chair, "I, Gerald Daggers, High Captain of Daggers Marauders call this agenda to a vote. He who calls to vote cast his own to forfeit." he spoke loudly, looking to his left at the person sitting in the chair. A tall, slender figure in loose silk, his face concealed by a sort of fencing mask, rose up and spoke with a deep, slow voice, "Aye, says Oomoo, High Captain of the Aabiuss'alan." Kshurax remained seated, but with a high pitched hiss the first mate was immediately clear on how to translated his captains vote, "Nay, sssaysss Kssshuraxx, High Captain of the Golden Fangsss". Hynam Sidikan also remained seated, leaning on one hand and gestured uninterested with the other, "Nay, says Hynam Sidikan, High Captain of Blackstar." she said with a dull voice while correcting the feather in her cap. Krupin Levko almost flew out of his chair, "No, say Krupin Levko, Great Chief of Steel Horde." he said with a fierce and firm voice. Hakuyambi rubbed his fat chin, studying Wana and Oomoo. His long tongue crept out of his mouth and licked his left eyeball. The heavy reptilian rose from his chair, his golden chains and medallions jingling as he did. "Aye, says Hakuyambhi, High Caphtain of the Hellion" he gurgled with a sly voice. The captains all looked towards Kromm, who bore the final vote. He tilted his head backwards and returned the looks. "Aye, says Wana Kromm, High Captain of the Kromm Armada. Daggers rubbed his hands together, "With the vote concluded three to three, we will hold another vote at a later date. The meeting to discussing our agenda of interfering in the Zealot Uprising is concluded." The captains rose from their chairs, gathered their men and began leaving. Gerald walked up to Wana with a smug smile, "I can't understand why we would even consider interfering in this, let alone help our greatest enemy in the process." Wana frowned at him, "Naturally, we can sell our services to them with an ultimatum. We can make this sector our own." Gerald snickered slightly, "Wana-boy, there is no fun being a pirate if no one is chasing you. But, depending on how the war goes, we might find a way or another to extort the Sol Government to our gain." He flicked the coin to Wana who caught it with his feline reflexes and then winked. "Until next time" he finished slyly, motioning for his men to move out. Wana inspected the coin before turning to his first mate, "We're leaving, and as soon as we're back on the ship I want you to contact Captain Mihok." And soon enough, the Chasers Grave was abandoned once more, floating silently through the void. Had one not known of this meeting, it might never have taken place.

Just say the word, and I'll head down to the hotel with some spray paint." she said, as she set her tools down in her room.
"Excellent" Yuga said in a mildly jovial tone. She turned to Hariim, "Mr.M'baal, please relay the second teams location to Ms Blackwells communicator." She contacted Valkyrie again, "I want you to gather your tools and depart immediately and rendezvous with the second team outside of the hotel."
"I want you to gather your tools and depart immediately and rendezvous with the second team outside of the hotel."
"On it." said Valkyrie, before slinging the bag full of spray paint over her shoulder. She cracked open the weapon case on her bed, drawing out her new machine pistol that Mad had customized for her. She loaded a fresh cylinder mag into it, then racked the slide. Perfect! She slipped two more cylinder mags into her jacket pocket, then proceeded out and off the Muramasa.
Hariim taps into the city's traffic control networks, and accesses the camera feeds of all intersections for 10 blocks around the hotel. He starts to get a migraine from the load he's putting on his cybernetics, and offloads a chunk of the processes running in his skull onto the processors in the Muramasa's computers. He does what he can to feed the street cams into Frosty's cockpit without obstructing his focus or interfering with the displays he needs to fly. "Well Frosty, it'd be easy if your bird wasn't so old I'm not reading any holo-projectors at all!" Hariim also starts trying to wipe the security footage linking any of the crew to the fight, or the Muramasa. [Roll to wipe the footage, and another roll to pipe street can footage into Frosty's cockpit] ----------------------------------------------------- Bucky contacts Yuga, and asks where she and John can be useful. "Hey Yuga, John and me are ready to get out and help. We're armed, so where can we help out?"
Yuga processed the message and formulated a response. "If you must contribute, meet up with the second team outside of the hotel"
...but Porter was craftier than them, keeping his sights on one target at a time, and not allowing himself to be overwhelmed by enemy movements or counterattacks. And he nearly survived the combined assault of all 11 men at once, too. But now he was out of ammunition, and the damage inflicted throughout his body suddenly manifested itself all at once. He collapsed, not quite bleeding out, but rather splashing out, as his body was simply no longer whole. ((We can rebuild him... obviously, since he was clearly rebuilt once before. But he's out for the count until Chapter 2 begins, unless Otterman decides that this is the end of the road for Porter, taken too soon.))
((I leave for a camping trip for three days and I come back to see the black guy is the first one to die this is a great rp 10/10. Bucky acknowledges Yuga's response and drags John along with her to meet up with the second team. She seems nervous, but pretty determined to help her crew.
Valkyrie links up with Bucky and John, proceeding with them to the second team's location.
((Again, sorry for the slow updates. Term papers are coming due in my university classes. Once I get through these, there should be a few weeks of smooth sailing until exam week (first week of May, I believe) and then there's summer. I won't have class and I won't be working and so things should be much easier by then. As for now, I've been working on a take-home exam all night and so I'm too tired to write an update. There'll be at least one tomorrow, though, I promise.))
((Don't worry Sega, IRL priorities always go first. We all know that.))
Taylor, following Hariim's instructions after retrieving an explosive device from Porter, made a sprint for the door at the rear of the room and exposed herself to enemy fire. Accordingly, two mobsters unloaded on her while the rest either focused on other targets or laid down suppressive fire. Hitmen 5 and 6: {3, 8} x Territory(x3) = {9, 24} = 33 Taylor: DEF Rolls = {1, 7} = 8 25 Total Damage Taylor HP: 75/100 Her combat gear did a good job of deflecting some of the spray, but in areas like the back of the knees and just under the ribs, where flexibility was required, the armor was too thin to protect against direct hits. Two bullets pierce the armor and catch Taylor once in the leg and once in her lower-right back. She hit the door, wincing in pain, only to realize the handle was locked. Taking a few steps back on a painfully wounded leg, she stepped forward again and threw a kick in hopes of breaking the lock open. CH Estimate: 2/3 Actual: 1 Roll Failed. Forced to kick with her off leg, she wasn't able to get enough power into the movement to achieve her aim. Worse yet, she was still exposed to enemy attacks- as soon as she realized she wouldn't be able to kick the door in, she stumbled her way back to cover and dropped down, luckily avoiding further injury in the process. Amy, watching from outside, could hear chatter on the radio as well as Yanim's verbal orders in front of the building. Not only were there still eight gunman active inside, but there were four drivers and at least one other Mafia goon hiding inside the disabled sedans. She spotted one of the drivers peeking over the edge of the door, speaking into a radio, in an apparent attempt to spot the snipers' positions. Amy put her crosshairs on him and fired. Amy: 5 x 1.25 x Specter(x 1.5) = 9.375... 9 DMG The bullet smashed through the window and grazed the right side of the driver's head, leaving a gash and completely removing his ear. He sunk back into the seat to protect himself, his agonized shout mixed with the sound of glass hitting the pavement. Having witnessed this shot from another window, Markus suggested finishing off all the drivers and any potential passengers before proceeding, and was backed up by Yuga.
Mr. Koval brings up a valid point. I advice you neutralize the mafia gunmen who are still in the cars. When the other team has moved Mr. Porter to safety, you can move in and finish off the stragglers. Then you can exit through the service tunnel with the other team.
Yanim shook her head after considering the layout of the battle. "Crew survival is priority number one, Yuga. We're already down one man and others are in danger; our snipers and latecomers can handle the drivers." Bucky, János, and Valkyrie arrived at the scene during this time, and Yanim waived them closer. "Dio and Maddox, with me. The rest of you, take out those drivers. Let's go!" With that, Yanim ordered the attack into the bar, her team of three entering from the same side as the hitmen who had arrived minutes earlier. Their barrage would come as a shock to the hitmen who had to this point managed to pin down the rest of the Muramasa crew. Yanim: 5 x Machinist(x1.5) x Malevolence(x2) = 15 DMG The rifle Maddox built worked brilliantly, curving the trajectory of its bullets to attack a hitman who had hidden behind cover. It slashed through his neck, spraying the high pressure blood of his arteries across the floor. Enemy Eliminated. -Auto roll- Maddox: 5 x Machinist(1.25) = 6.25... 6 DMG Setting his sights on another nearby gunman, Maddox fired away. The hitman had heard shots coming from behind a moment earlier, thanks to Yanim's initial attack, and spun around just in time for a shot to pierce him in the shoulder. In a panic, he dropped his weapon and was forced to dive on it. A moment later, two Mafia men had determined the source of the attack and fired on Yanim and Maddox. Hitman 7: 2 x Territory(x3) = 6 Yanim: DEF Roll = 4 2 DMG Yanim HP: 48/50 Hitman 8: 2 x Territory(x3) = 6 Maddox: DEF Roll = 2 4 DMG Maddox HP: 121/125 -Auto Roll- Dio: 3 x 1.25 x Impaler(x2) = 7.5... 8 DMG The Mafioso that Maddox had just disarmed had not yet risen to his feet before Dio arrived in a full sprint, sliding to a stop while crouching down so as to slash with a knife from below. The blade caught the gunman in his ribs and tore his chest open with a nasty gash. Dio hadn't hit any major organs, but the pain and blood loss alone was enough to stop this assassin from reentering the fight. Enemy Neutralized. Another Mafioso set his eyes on Dio and attempted to repay him for the damage he had just done. Hitman 9: 7 x Territory(x3) = 21 Dio: DEF Roll = 3 18 DMG Dio HP: 82/100 Dio quickly dove for cover in anticipation of the attack, but a shot still tagged him in his torso, burying itself in his ribs. Clutching at his chest, Dio swore under his breath, relieved to have no trouble breathing, as this signified that he was not yet in mortal danger. Half of the gunmen in the bar were now either dead or incapacitated, and the crew was slowly gaining control of the battle. The others, left behind to fight the drivers, could do so on their own terms, as the drivers did not appear to be armed. --- Hariim was coordinating many of the technical details of the battle. With his attention split among competing priorities, he would need to push himself to the limit to accomplish all that was being asked of him. CH Estimate: 3/5 Actual: 2 Roll Failed. CH Estimate: 3/5 Actual: 2 Roll Failed. He began to get a migraine. The stress was becoming far too much for one man to handle. Only some of the surveillance footage was wiped out, while at the same time, the camera feeds being linked to Frosty's fighter weren't stable. Hariim could feel the heat of the components inside his cranium; he needed to stop. --- Frosty wouldn't be deterred by the lack of video signal. He had his own eyes, as well as components aboard the ship to help him search for the quintessential black Mafia cruisers. CH Estimate: 5/7 Actual: 7 Roll Passed. Another three vehicles were on their way to the building, closing in from the north. Their roaring engines would carry them in style to the site of the battle within two minutes. "We've got three more coming!" Frosty called out. Yanim answered over the comm:
Frosty, take them out!
"What about the bystanders?"
Akha dar sividia! (Fuck the civilians!) Do what you have to do!
Maddox strafed to the left in behind a civilian car. "Watch my six!" Releasing the grip on his rifle, a flexible kevlar sling kept it dangling to his body. He pulled out a micro SMG from his chest holster, a weapon which would be very familiar in Yanim's eyes, and started to scan around the vehicle for potential close-range targets pinned down between the vehicles.
Heavy ordinance still wasn't an option. However, since he managed to disable the other hitmen's cars earlier with such precision, he had an idea. He climbed low, very low. His Voidwalker was barely several feet off the ground. He aimed his lasers straight at the windshields of the mafiamobiles and fired several beams.
Dio and Maddox, with me. The rest of you, take out those drivers. Let's go!
"Got it!" Amy looked at the cars, no way were the drivers going to poke their heads out now. She had a way to get beyond that. She still had a few armor piercing bullets from her last job, maybe they would come in use now. She reloaded the riffle and fired at the drivers hiding in the cars. --- Alex looked at Taylor "You alright?"
Hariim grunts, determined not to give up just for his own sake. He starts offloading processes and programs onto the Muramasa computers, lightening the load on his own cybernetics and brain. He takes on only what loads he needs to handle himself. He keeps trying to follow his orders, and takes another crack at deleting the cam footage. [Roll to cover the crew's collective ass] ----------------------------------------------- Bucky follows Valkyrie in, and shoots the first mafioso she sees with her plasma pistol. She ducks behind the nearest solid-looking piece of cover she can find too and looks at John. She doesn't exactly know what she's doing.
"You alright?"
Taylor groaned in pain, but nodded. "Hit twice, but I can still fight." she responded. She eased up and peered over the edge of the overturned table. Goons #5 and #6 were reloading nearby, judging from the sounds of magazines hitting the floor. She considered tossing that explosive charge in the middle of them all, but that'd be one hell of a bang. One that may hurt friendlies as well. "We've got two options. Fight it out with the rest of these goons, or you can try and break down the door. Fucker shot me in the leg, so fat chance of me kicking it down. Anyway, we've thinned 'em out enough that we could probably take them on with the others coming in from the outside." she said, looking back over at Alex as she slipped back down behind the table. ....
"Dio and Maddox, with me. The rest of you, take out those drivers. Let's go!"
This will be like shooting fish in a barrel! Valkyrie heads towards the first car, as Bucky takes a potshot behind her at a random goon. She could see the driver through the windshield, too focused on the battle at hand inside the hotel to notice her. She grins, then whistles loudly to catch his attention. A moment later, she hosed down the windshield of the car with a burst of automatic fire, a steady stream of brass flowing from the machine pistol in her hands.
We've got two options. Fight it out with the rest of these goons, or you can try and break down the door. Fucker shot me in the leg, so fat chance of me kicking it down. Anyway, we've thinned 'em out enough that we could probably take them on with the others coming in from the outside.
Alex peeked over the table and noticed that the mafia were being distracted. He slipped back and looked at Taylor. "I'll try to bust down the door and get Porter out of here. You do what you do best and kick their asses." Alex got up in a hurry and went to the door he attempted to kick it down.
"I'll try to bust down the door and get Porter out of here. You do what you do best and kick their asses."
"Roger that." said Taylor, before pushing herself up and opening fire on Goons #5 and #6 nearby with her autoshotgun. If she could keep the pressure on, it'd give Alex enough time to break down that door.
János was nervous about getting into the battle. He considered himself more of a liability on the field, believing the interrogation room to be his place. However, he couldn't say no to Bucky. Before the two left, he grabbed 8 magazines for his P888, as well as his C269. He ducked behind different cover to provide a different point in the angle. He saw as Bucky looked at him unsurely. He sighed, pulled out his P888 and provided cover for Valkyrie.
Frosty dropped into the deep trench between the neon buildings, the body of his fighter hovering only a meter off the ground as he set his sights on the windshield of the lead car. He pulled the trigger and... CH Estimate: 4/7 Actual: 4 Roll Passed. The driver of the first vehicle never knew what hit him. The beams made short work of the glass as well as the man behind it, his seat, and the man in the back seat. The vehicle swerved out of control and lost speed, crashing into a parked taxi and briefly jackknifing into the air. The second car's tires squealed as its driver attempted to avoid it, but there simply wasn't enough time. He crashed into the first black sedan and together the two cars made a roadblock. The last of the three cars came to a complete halt and began reversing, but Frosty was on point, firing away with more lasers as he strafed the remaining two cars. Of the dozen Mafia men inside the three vehicles, half were killed by the barrage alone, and three others were killed by the impact of the accidents. Perhaps operating "throwback" vehicles with period-correct safety standards wasn't quite the best idea, after all. No civilians were killed. --- ((For clarity, in order to keep things simple for myself, the hitmen attack in order, and player attacks in this scene were always assigned to the lowest-numbered enemy which was in an attackable state. For that reason, 5 and 6 attacked Taylor but were then taken out by the second away team. The remaining hitmen are numbers 7-12.)) Yanim and Maddox pushed forward, taking on more of the hitmen in an attempt to relieve the crewmembers who were still pinned down. They paused as they reached each barrier which could serve as cover, each side using suppressive fire, until finally Maddox and an enemy hitman saw the whites of each other's eyes. Maddox fired first. Maddox: 4 x Machinist(x1.25) = 5 DMG The enemy was only winged by a single SMG round, and kept his concentration on his mercenary foe. Hitman 7: 9 x Territory(x3) = 27 Maddox: DEF Roll = 1 26 DMG Maddox HP: 99/125 The enemy's firing was more accurate, striking Maddox a total of eight times, but with only three piercing his armor, and of those, only one inflicted serious pain. This bullet had impacted him in the abdominal region but had not penetrated deeply and left his internal organs intact. Yanim saw the engineer shrink back behind cover and for a moment was terrified that he might have been hurt worse than he actually was. Furiously, she reached into her waistband and retrieved her VRI, pulled the plasma cartridge out of it, and then hurled it at the enemy. She then raised her rifle and attempted to shoot the volatile cartridge while it was still in the air. She had a history of trying trick shots like these, which were not always successful. CH Estimate: 1/4 x 2 = 1/2 (Malevolence) Actual: 2 Roll Passed. Then again, she didn't always have a gun which could shoot curving bullets. With a quick spray, she caught the pill bottle-sized cartridge just as it arrived over the head of the enemy Mafioso, tearing it open with a bullet and briefly lighting the scene with a shower of phosphoric and other chemical compounds. The enemy gunman was engulfed in flaming material which stuck to his body. He went down screaming. 15 DMG. Enemy Eliminated. This sight forced two of the remaining gunmen to act, seeking to strike down Yanim while she was still exposed. Hitmen 8 and 9: {4, 8} x Territory(x3) = {12, 24} = 36 Yanim: DEF Rolls = {2, 5} = 7 29 DMG Yanim HP: 21/50 The Chicago typewriters hit Yanim several times, striking her in the face and body. The first deflected off of her mask, shattering one of the lenses in the process and exposing one of her sensitive eyes to oxygen, which was harmful to her. The second blew one of her hearing implants out, deafening her in her left ear but thankfully not striking her flesh. The third hit was taken in the chest, and very quickly it became clear that Yanim was having trouble breathing. Luckily, it was not a collapsed lung, but extensive tissue damage in her breast was causing her severe pain. While the Mafia was distracted by Maddox and Yanim's intervention, Alex made a break for the door, and managed to reach it without being shot. He threw up his leg and kicked it hard, having only slowed down to make sure his back foot was planted before doing so. CH Estimate: 3/4 Actual: 2 Roll Passed. This time, the lock gave way and the door was flung open, revealing a plain white hallway with tiled floors. Signage on the walls indicated the locations of certain departments within the building's service center. The way now clear, Alex turned to see how Taylor's next attack would fare. Taylor: {9, 2} x Versatility(CH 1/4, {4, 4}, Passed, Passed, x2) x Machinist(x1.25) = {22.5... 23, 10} = 33 DMG Spread Across Two Enemies The first gunman had his entire midsection blown out from under him, exposing his ripped intestines to the open air. He collapsed into a heap, immediately aware that nothing could save him now. "Madre!" he cried out. Enemy Eliminated. The other hitman turned just in time to receive a terrible shot to the arm, stripping a fair amount of flesh from the bone. He dropped his weapon, clutched his wounds and scurried into a corner, unable to find proper cover and bleeding profusely. Enemy Neutralized. There were just three gunmen left, and they were suddenly outnumbered. There was no time to question why their reinforcements had not arrived yet, there was only the panic and madness of survival instinct to guide them. Two responded at once to the threat posed by Taylor. Hitmen 10 and 11: {1, 2} x Territory(x3) = {3, 6} = 9 Taylor: DEF Rolls = {1, 7(Machinist)} = 8 1 DMG Taylor HP: 74/100 This time, Taylor's armor did its job and nothing penetrated. Only the pain of a bullet deflecting off her helmet caused her grief as she easily tanked the attack. The last gunman who had yet to attack, fearful of this development, turned his attention on Alex instead, having finally noticed him removing Porter's body from the room. Hitman 12: 4 x Territory(x3) = 12 Alex: DEF Roll = 5 7 DMG Alex HP: 92/125 As it turned out, this last Mafioso had only a few bullets left in his magazine, and most were off the mark. Only one managed to land a grazing blow to Alex's upper back, having hit at a shallow angle. --- One by one, the drivers in the street were killed, unable to resist as the mercenaries cornered them in their unarmed state. They didn't plead for their lives, as they knew that they had lived by the sword and would die by it. Only the guard, the man who had been placed to watch over Ryan Schafer, pled to be released. It was no use; he had seen the faces of many Terika-Belladonna personnel and could not be left alive. ((Sorry, this battle is getting exhausting and I didn't want to do combat rolls against unarmed enemy targets.)) --- Hariim wiped the sweat from his brow. He wasn't going to let himself be beaten, not when the crew's safety was on the line. Having ditched all unnecessary processes onto the Muramasa's onboard computers, he shifted all of his focus to the expunging of all video record of TBC's involvement at Hotel Prospera. CH Estimate: 7/10 Actual: 6 Roll Passed. This time, he was able to focus, and made sure that no camera footage could be recovered by the enemy. The remaining video cameras ceased recording to memory, and instead only supplied a stream, and only to the Muramasa. He would be able to continue coordinating the operation with Yuga and Yanim's instructions, but nothing would remain for anyone else to review when all was said and done. The crew had three opponents left to fight and a whole lot of wounded to finish off, but the path was now clear for their escape.
Maddox breathed in. Carefully probing his armor, he realized that his wound was not too serious. He'd been through worse after all. He holstered the SMG and and pulled out his rifle just as Yanim finished off one of the mafiosos permanently. "Nice shooting, Boss." He moved towards her position in a tactical manner, scanning for potential targets. He soon realized that the battle was over in the street and rushed towards the hotel. "Don't shoot, friendly coming in!" He gently tapped the trigger with his finger, ready to engage any potential target that might still be alive inside.
"MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!" Dio yelled as he charged and sent a razor sharp knife flying into the last hitman.((roll))
Taylor limped forwards, shaking off the ricochet to her helmet and pressing on. She swung her weapon around towards the remaining hitmen, opening fire on the other two as she let the apparently friendly knife-throwing newcomer handle the last one. After this, it will be execution time for the survivors. Bullets to brains and curb stomps all around. .... As Valkyrie executed the final driver, smearing most of his head across the inside of the car, she breathed a sigh. She wished she had been able to bring her drone along. This would have been more fun. She looked back over at Bucky as she stepped back from the car. "Hey, sexpot. I need some help. Any good with a knife?" she asked, drawing her switchblade from her inner jacket pocket. She had a few ideas of who they could frame for all this shit, but they had to make it look authentic. She was going to need someone to carve things into some of the bodies. The spray paint in the bag on her shoulder would be for the inside of the hotel and the cars.
Frosty did a victory gesture as he managed to destroy the oncoming cars without any innocents getting killed or hurt. "The mafia's reinforcements and their cars thought they could beat a laser in a game of chicken. No innocents were harmed, fortunately enough. I am headed back to the hotel as there doesn't appear to be any more hitmen coming towards us." He then swerved back to the hotel as the crew inside might need him. He was still low to the ground, so he crept up as close as he could to lobby entrance, opened up his cockpit, and walked out to the front end of his fighter with his laser uzi in hand.
Yuga stood with her hands at her back, observing as the operation began turning in their favor. She noticed when Hariim prioritized the camera wipe and was yet again impressed by his abilities. "Excellent work yet again, Mr. M'baal. As for the rest, we have three hostiles still left inside the hotel." She took a brief pause to look over the blips on the radar showing a map of the hotel lobby as well as the area outside. "When all hostiles have been dealt with the wounded should return through the maintenance tunnels to the ship. Those still fit will eliminate the mafia witnesses and assist Ms Blackwell with her task." she finished. ... Markus had exited the building and made his way over to cover on the side of the window lobby. Carefully peaking into the lobby he could spot the foot of one of the gunmen that was sat behind cover. By the looks of the cover, his bullet should penetrate it. Judging from the foots position, Makrus aimed towards the spot where he believed the gunmans center mass to be. ((Roll))
Alex gritted his teeth as the bullet grazed him. It hurt but he's had worse. "Owen. Help me get Porter back to the ship. He's a bit heavy." --- Amy was satisfied as the last driver's head popped like a balloon in the car. It looked like the crew had the situation under control. She wanted to go down there and check up on her brother, but there she didn't want to leave anything to chance. She remained at her spot until she would hear the go ahead it was safe.
After hearing some commotion coming from his radio, Frosty went back to check what was going on. Porter was down, and they needed to get him out of there as soon as possible. He looked at he storage spot behind his seat, and then spoke over the radio. "So Porter is down? See if you can bring him to me. There's a chance he may fit in the space on my ship. I'll drop him off at the Muramasa to see if Abraxas can do something to help him get back in his feet."
"If you can fit him in there, we should put him in there. The rest of us, should use the utility tunnel to get the hell out of here."
"I have space to accommodate him, but I suggest you hold on until the last few enemies are dead. It would be really bad if another one of us went down as well, so don't risk it if you can't bring him to me."
