"I'm amusing your....Upbringing was an unpleasant experience."
"Eh, it wasn't all bad. Military came calling when I didn't want to go into the family business, I signed up, and served 12 years. Left as an officer, went straight into freelance mercenary work. Did that for a few weeks, and now I'm here." She tilted her head a bit, and then finished her drink. She looks around, and looks at Ahaz and Amelia. "Would you stop acting like children? Let her get her own drink for shit's sake. I'd be afraid to let you make anything for me too if you slipped shit into my booze." She stands, and straightens her shirt and beret. "And before you make any more threats to her, just know that if you lay a finger on her head, I'll shove my boot so far down your throat that you'll be coughing up leather for a month."
Ahaz makes the hot chocolate on the counter, making sure Amelia sees every step. He serves it to her. "Want to restart? I'm Ahaz, the bartender. Who are you?"

"Jeeze high tensions in here..."
Realizing that no one is noticing him, János slowly approached the bar counter before stopping half way. Maybe someone now will notice him.
"Jeeze high tensions in here..."
"Nah. I just can't stand an asshole." she says, looking over. She spots János as he approaches. "Hey there. Come have a seat. My name is Taylor. I'm one of the mercs."
A voice came over the intercom.
This is Rask. Our flight computer is reporting fuel levels at maximum, core temperature stable. So, uh... Thanks for joining us. We're gonna take off now.
There was a slight jolt throughout the ship as the lights briefly dimmed. The Muramasa was now under its own power, with Owen at the controls and Neasha guiding him through the process of a gentle takeoff. The computer displays throughout the bridge began to change from an amber color to a bright green. Its shadowy form rose from the lunar surface in the silence of space, fading back into the inky darkness above. The engines throttled up and a subtle hum echoed through the walls of the vessel. ((Note: When a character speaks in brackets, "[like this,]" it indicates speech in a foreign language.)) "[So what do you think?]" Neasha asked in the kanad language, which she had learned from her two compatriots over the years she had flown with them. This way, the two could speak without Owen being able to understand them. "[Do you think Yanim is going to approve of them?]" Rask settled into the captain's chair and propped a leg up on his knee. "[Maybe half of them...]" he answered. "[The other half are going to have to get tough or get smart. I remember my first days in the SS, before the Hanza raid and before I met Yanim, how easy I expected everything to be. But, the funny thing is, I don't think I was ever as green as some of these rookies.]" "[I'll bet you were,]" Neasha chided, "[and you've just forgotten.]" The ship accelerated to warp, north east, toward an agricultural planet on the edge of the Kanad Collective's territory. Itara, with its vast crop yields, was the breadbasket of the eastern fringes, ruled as a centrist republic by the domestically-focused tetrian race. With no real defense force of its own, the tetrians happily allowed UGC forces to patrol their system for decades to keep away pirates, but those days had come to an end just months after the Oracle War of 2382. It seemed the UGC no longer had enough forces to spare for the unfortunate tetrians, who, out of desperation, sought help from the Collective. Protection, as it would be found, came with the cost of political concessions and special trade rights. The largest political body on Itara, the Agriculture Worker's Union, or AWU, cooperated when the kanads demanded that the republic cease hiring mercenaries to guard food shipments, and to stick to the Collective's designated trade convoy system. They cooperated again when the Black Fleet requested basing rights on Itara to service the guardian ships. They even cooperated as the Collective requested a discount on biofuel component crops for the duration of their contract. But when the Collective sought to block AWU from buying their farming equipment on the open market, the AWU threatened to break their contract with the Black Fleet. And that's when the AWU was forcibly disbanded by the kanad SS. By 2385, Itara was in a defacto state of occupation by the Collective. The republic could pass laws and decrees, but it had no power to enforce them while Black Fleet infantry patrolled the countryside and controlled the food shipments. Farmers were paid a living wage directly by the kanad government, and their crops went wherever the kanads told them to ship it. The surrounding planets were all facing food shortages and rising prices. Someone had contracted the Terika-Belladonna Company to sabotage a shipment of biofuel crops headed for Tredet, in the Collective territory. After doing the deed, the Muramasa was due to fly to Luna, but another offer came in. There was a maximum security prison near one of Itara's few metropolitan areas; it was overflowing with political prisoners thanks to the efforts of a tetrian collaborator. TBC now had a mark, and so Yanim stayed behind to ensure the man would be killed. As the crew began its journey, their unmet leader staked out the exterior of a particular building, waiting in a thicket, watching the exits for a particular face...
"Nah. I just can't stand an asshole." she says, looking over. She spots János as he approaches. "Hey there. Come have a seat. My name is Taylor. I'm one of the mercs."
"Eh the guy was just having a little fun no need to get everyone hostile about it".
She looks to Taylor and makes a smile of trust. In only an instant, she already knows she's going to like her a whole lot. As for the bartender, she takes the drink and walks away towards where Taylor and János are, still holding a grudge after costing her a good first impression. "Hey um, might if I take a seat here." After the intercom announcement, she shakes a bit, never having to feel this taking off in her life.
"Welcome to the bar, friend."
Yuga listens to the commotion at the counter and puts the now empty cup down. She takes out her compass, following the standard procedure of absorbing it's incense. "Such a young race they are, asserting dominance over the most trivial matter", Yugas dull voice echoed in Jags conscious
János is surprised by Mattheus and Taylor speaking to him. He takes a seat. "Um, hey. Name's János. You can call me John," he said, as he shook Mattheus' hand. "So, you guys like to argue a lot?"
"John, want a drink." Ahaz offers.

"So, you guys like to argue a lot?"
"Who me? Nah im not about arguing, more about diffusing silly situations aha. What brings you on board?"
"No thanks. I finished up a bottle of Syntholeum earlier," János replied to Ahaz, indicating his true android nature. Turning back to Mattheus, he spoke; "I'm the warden. Really more like a interrogator, but this face is useful for intimidation," he responded.
Abrax sighed at the day already, Humans arguing over spiked chocolate and an mysterious agenda led by his employers. Though soon enough Abrax would know more about the mission and subject for this Belladonna Company and how it came to be. He saw the quarters and found an empty bed sparing one blanket, he nodded to himself and laid down facing above the metal ceiling, respirator turned off to prevent anyone to be disturbed by the sounds as they sleep.
"Hey um, might if I take a seat here."
"Go right ahead." says Taylor with a smile, as she steps out of the way as to allow her to take her seat. She remains standing, returning to her 'Parade Rest' stance.
"Hey Bartender! What do you have?" Silvia said as she sat at the counter.
"Anything you want and more sweetheart."

They're can be pretty convincing ;). Hahaahah get it? Convincing!"
"Anything you want and more sweetheart."
"Hmm...quite the charmer aren't cha?" Silvia leaned on the counter, smiling at the bartender. "Why don't you do the recommendation for me then?"
"Go right ahead." says Taylor with a smile, as she steps out of the way as to allow her to take her seat.
Amelia smiles, glad that there is someone nice on this ship. She sits down, "So uh, nice to meet you all, I'm Amelia, I'm the ships biologist, so I like to poke things and write them down. How about you guys?"
János replied to Mattheus' joke with a disapproving look on his face. "Anyway, who are you lot?" he asked.
Ahaz pours Silvia a craft beer and serves it. "What brings you here?"
János replied to Mattheus' joke with a disapproving look on his face. "Anyway, who are you lot?" he asked.
Ok not one for jokes I guess... they never are. "I'm the propulsion engineer, and damn good at it as I was telling Alex over here".
Alex stood up from the his spot and placed a few credits on the counter. "This covers mine and theirs. No tip." He started walking outside the bar and back to his quarters near the kitchen. Still agitated from before. "Gotta get a grip. Get my shit in order or I'm gonna get thrown out the airlock. Remember why you're doing this. For who you're doing this." He sat on his bed and started to breathe deeply. After a few minutes he was feeling relaxed. Guess that technique Vakarus taught him worked. ((It's 4:30 AM. I'm out))
"Interesting. Besides the jokes, you seem like a solid guy." János told Mattheus. "You know anything else about the others?"
Ahaz pours Silvia a craft beer and serves it. "What brings you here?"
"Hmm... Wanting something less boring and more exciting for my taste, my old job was boring so I joined up here." Silvia said as she took a sip of the beer. ((School's starting, I'll be off))
"Interesting. Besides the jokes, you seem like a solid guy." János told Mattheus. "You know anything else about the others?"
"thanks. Um...Well that was Alex that just left. Merc, has combat experience. Ahaz over here is our lovely drink spikin bartender. Bunky is the other engineer but I dont know where she went. I haven't met the others."
