(( Hey sorry I've been really busy these past few days. I've gotten about 100 posts behind. Gonna try to catch up and make a post today. ))
Taylor climbed to her feet, holding the LMG up with one hand and clutching the destroyed portion of her chest plate with the other. Valkyrie followed suit, motioning for Bucky to follow. "Valk, grab that fuck's bolt pistol." muttered Taylor, motioning towards Robert's corpse nearby. Valkyrie silently did as she was asked, walking over and taking the large pistol from the hands of the dead Enforcer. She looked it over as she strolled back over to where the others were. 'Hmm...could use something like this on one of my drones.', she thought.
Taylor glanced at the other two Investigators, as Mad told them to leave, then around at the others. "Lets get out of here." she said, before heading over and climbing into the passenger seat of the police truck. She could only imagine what Yuga and Yanim were gonna say to them regarding the pit incident. Eh, it really didn't matter. She was going to take all of the blame for it anyway. She should have told Mad to stand down when he pointed his rifle at that android. Valkyrie followed suit, climbing into the back of the police truck and sitting down.
Amy and Alex climbed inside the police truck after Alex noticed that Rask was getting a bit aggitated. Amy sat next to Valk, while Alex sat next to Maddox. He shot a quick glance at his crewmate and made a small comment.
"I hope you liked this little romp, because the boss is gonna make this look like a romantic dinner when she gets a hold of you."
"WAIT FOR ME!"
Frosty hopped in the truck as well before they could leave.
No man gets left behind.
Maddox grunted. "I'll handle it. I made the call, I take the heat. Don't worry."
"If it's any consolation, Maddox, I was about to do the same." assured Frosty.
"But despite that, Briggs is dead and Owen won the race. We finished our mission, so we still have something to celebrate."
"Have you ever seen anything like it?" she asked Amelia. "Anything so... right?"
Amelia gasped and looked away from the beheading. Sure, she was a biologist, she sees worse stuff. But for someone's life to be taken like that, out of nowhere, she doesn't want to see that.
"I... I don't think... well..." she was confused. Bad guys were dying, but is it right to fire onto unarmed civilians like that? Even if they were scum? A sigh goes through her chapped lips, not saying anything else.
She sat down next to Yanim, looking over the chaos down below. Resting her head on both of her hands, Amelia thinks about what she would be doing right now if she didn't sign up with the crew...

(( Wrong thread you doof ))
Mercury tapped his wepaon before aiming down the sights while sitting on one of many military storage crates meant to transport the evidence recovered at the office.
He looked up. "So what's the call?"
Standing next to a hovering medical stretcher, specialist Dara Vega of the SSOID was busy finishing the report she was currently writing on the tablet in her hands. She looked up with a relatively amused look on her face.
"I'm done when I'm done, mercenary. This work shouldn't be rushed." Just as Mercury was about to reply with a snarky comment the doors opened, revealing Warren and Lord General Cross escorted by four SSFD soldiers.
Cross nodded. "Specialist Vega, Mercury. Good to see you."
He pointed at the deceased soldier of unknown origin on the stretcher. "I trust you can tell us what our mysterious friend was doing here, especially seeing as he doesn't wear the colors of the Divinity Creed."
Vega nodded. "I have recovered alot of data from his suit and I have also managed to scan his entire body. Unfortunately all the equipment inside the hidden room had been wiped clean of everything but outdated tactical data and low-importance supply manifests of the Creed forces."
She pulled back the white synthweave cloth covering the body, revealing the armored figure.
"While the suit didn't contain any critical data, it did contain a treasure trove of technical data such as specs, diagnostics and the current vitals of the operator alongside a plethora of other tidbits. This mysterious soldier appears to have replaced most of his body, namely 60%, with biomechanical bodyparts. The suit itself is pretty standard and it appears that it is meant to improve the efficiency of its operator rather than enhance them from the start."
Vega then pointed at Mercury and Warren. "The list of functions of the biomechanical augments is long, but I can tell you that the reason he was able to strike both of you so hard was because of several accelerator augments in the arms which severly boosted his strenght. Had he been withou these augments he would've never been able to crack the reinforced visor of a shock-proof military helmet or dented reinforced Boome Marine armor.
All in all this operator was most likely a commando sent out to lead the Creed forces stationed in this sector of Hoxith. Based on what I've gathered from the Creed officer's personal terminals which had not been wiped, this force in particular were in the last stages of a plan which ended with them detonating a large bomb, effectively vaporizing all SDF forces in the city. Lucky for us the bomb was intercepted and defused by a group of Novithian combat engineers who unknowingly stopped this devastating plan."
Vega then covered the body again. "It is still worrying however that a unknown enemy sent a well-equipped and fanatical soldier to strike a serious blow to our forces with no hope of returning home."
Cross stroked his chin worryingly while Mercury and Warren exchanged nervous looks. "These are indeed troubling news specialist. It feels that our enemies have been working at a much larger scale than suspected and now that we have a third unidentified party I can't help but feel that something bad is going to happen. Specialist, I want you to take the body to Terra. Warren, Mercury, I want you accompany the body to the SSOID Terranos HQ. Our very future could depend on it."
Mercury and Warren nodded. "We won't let you down sir."
((Altered Johannes description a little. Wasn't happy with the whole scar/implant eye thing. The "One thick scar from cheek to forehead through the eye" thing is so cliche it hurts. Changed it to him basically having been shot in the head at an angle that it went through the eye and out the temple.
Altered piece of description is here for easier reading:
The left side of his face directly adjacent to his eye socket is covered in thick, ropey scar tissue that grew in like tendrils from a center point, a thick mass of scar tissue on his left temple just above his eye, appearing as though he was shot in the eye and the bullet went out through the side of his head.

(Heh. That's basically what happened to Hariim)
Bucky clambers into the back of the truck with Taylor, Valkyrie, and the others. She extends a fist to Valkyrie in a friendly gesture of celebration. The android doesn't seem very much worse for wear from the fight, and has unloaded and cleared her pistol. "Well. That was a crazy day, huh."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hariim works overtime on his end, working traffic cameras and dispatcher alerts to keep the roads clear for the crew in the truck. He provides navigational assistance as well, giving Rask curt clear directions to get them to where they needed to go as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible.
"Well. That was a crazy day, huh."
Valkyrie bumped fists with Bucky. "Yeah. Helluva race, too. Lost money on it, but I'm getting a LOT more in the end." she replied with a smirk.
"You're free to go," Jag said.
Harris hesitated. "What did you say?"
Markus: 3 x (No Feat Applicable) = 3 DMG
Markus honed in on his target and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, his aim was off by a miniscule distance, the bullet striking the carpeted floor before slamming into the Investigator's shoulder, losing enough momentum in the process to deal only a very shallow wound. Harris winced, disgusted with the trickery. He pulled the trigger knowing full well that he would likely be killed in the process.
Harris: 6 x Arrogance(x3) = 18
Jag: DEF Roll = 4
14 DMG
Jag HP: 36/50
The two shots, from Markus and then Harris, had happened too quickly for Dio to intervene. The magnum bullet had damaged Jag's outer shell, causing the sanghvi to suddenly tumble off of its human prey. Finally, Dio had a clear opening to employ his talent, despite being unable to pivot properly to throw at max strength.
CH Estimate: 1/4 x 3 = 3/4 (Impalement)
Actual: 4
Roll Passed.
Dio: 1 x 1.25 x Impalement(x2) = 2.5... 3 DMG
The knife hit Harris in the chest, but not tip first. It bounced and landed on the floor about a meter away. Harris groaned. "...Really? You fucking clown. You couldn't just stab me?"
(Auto Roll)
Jag: 5 x Dismemberment(CH1/2, 2, Passed, x2) = 10 DMG
A talon plunged directly into the Harris's chest and destroyed his heart, killing him instantly.

While the Muramasa crew commandeered the police van, Jack scooped Helen off the floor and carried her to the exit, leaving their weapons behind. Sirens could be heard in the air, there were emergency vehicles closing in on the now-burning stadium to assist those which were already on-site for the race. Like the vans on Itara, the police wagon was synchronized to a regional police network, but Hariim was able to disengage the transmitter remotely. The van and the street racer Sylvia rode in on drove off into the anonymity of the city.
On the rooftop, Yanim and Amelia were joined by the remaining operatives who had been involved in the VIP section. The key to the transport vehicle was in one of the pouches on Mac's armor, the brute having drifted unconscious after the lethal hit from Markus moments earlier. The crew left him to die in peace. Yanim piloted the transport herself, utilizing training she had received during the Archius mission. Amelia and Abraxas looked after Vakarus, who had been injured more seriously than anyone during the fighting.
Owen, having found his own route out of the stadium before the fighting began, drove his less than street-legal car back to the port. A self-driving truck carrying his "prize" was dispatched to follow him.
A short time later, the five vehicles arrived at the Muramasa at roughly the same time, having successfully escaped without being followed. The entire crew checked in, miraculously having avoided any additional fatalities in the process. Of course, there would be a mission debriefing to come, some angry lectures, and some commendations, but for now, everyone would be provided an honest chance to relax as the Muramasa crept off the ground once more and accelerated toward the endless starry sky above.

The Mafia was at war with itself. Having hemorrhaged money on the Grand Prix's operating costs and the bad bet which it was designed to reward, its dealings with the Kanad Collective's State Security apparatus could no longer be funded nor sustained through other means. Itara's food exports, due to be illicitly sold in human markets with the help of Mafia trade contacts, would now have to be sold in the east to prevent the Collective-Itaran security agreement from going unfunded as well.
Duroma, Rigel, Trixina... they don't know it yet, but they owe the Terika-Belladonna Company a great debt. Come April and May, the only reason they won't be suffering from food shortages, the only reason they won't be waiting in Collective-organized bread lines, is that a scrappy team of freelance killers went to the glitzy capital of sin, Prospera, and burnt that motherfucker down.

((Chapter 2 has not yet begun. We're going to have a bit of exposition time before it starts. However, you can begin sending me stat updates for your characters. I recovered that critical file today from my computer in Orlando.))
Maddox climbed out of the truck and helpe Abrax transport Vakarus to the medbay. He then went for the bridge. "Wrench, reporting in."
Alex and Amy climbed out of the police wagon and went back into the ship. Alex's mood went down a bit after seeing Vakarus go to the med bay. The wounds looked near-fatal and the concern for his friend crept in into what was supposed to be a time to celebrate a job well done.
He went to the kitchen to clear his head. Mind as well make something for the crew for a job well done.
---
Amy went to the armory to relax a bit before the debreefing. She placed her weapons on the table, leaned back in her chair and kicked back her feet on the table.
Taylor went directly to the armory as soon as she was aboard, still a bit angry from that lucky shot that Enforcer got off that could have killed her, as well as with the fuck-up that got them in that position in the first place. She was about to get just a bit angrier.
As she removed the gear, and slung the chest plate onto the table nearby, an all too familiar voice sounded off from behind her. Its tone meant specifically to piss her off. "Wow, first time on the job as first officer, and you get arrested! Nice work, Tay-Tay." said Valkyrie, a bit of a chuckle at the end. "...don't you fucking start." muttered Taylor, cutting her a hateful glance. The pirate continued to approach, laughing this time, before saying with a sarcastic tone "Aww, little miss Caine is angry!"
That was it. In a matter of seconds, Taylor had grabbed Valkyrie by the throat and brutally choke-slamming her onto the floor of the armory. "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH." she barked into Valkyrie's face, bending down over her. Taylor then straightened up, fixed her clothing, and stormed out. Headed first to change her shirt, and then to the bridge for her debriefing.
After Taylor had left, Valkyrie simply sat up. Laughing even more.
Amy didn't bother getting up from her seat, since Valk just stood back up and seemed more than ok. "You two do this often?"
"You two do this often?"
"Oh, yeeeaaah. I just love fuckin' with her." said Valkyrie, flashing Amy a grin.
"You know, somebody is gonna end up dead if you keep it up." The grin clued her in."That's the endgame, isn't it?"
"That's the endgame, isn't it?"
"Pretty much. She gets herself killed, or I kill her. Either way works for me." she says, before setting the bolt pistol she had brought with her on the table. "Mad might want to check that out. Anyway, you're the cook's sister, right? Up for a tat? He had an idea about one involving the two of you."
Yuga stood up as the crew returned to the ship and stood with her hands behind her back and watched as the stars approached and Propera was left behind them.
She wore here usually tired expression on her face but she was also in a good mood.
The operation had achieved all possible goals, while sustaining no fatalities.
Even though some in the crew needed medical attention, most notably Dio, Vakarus and Yanim and Rask, she had faith that Abraxas and Amelia would have no trouble of taking care of them.
She lifted her hat, brushed her hair back and took out her compass to view the final numbers of the bets. She squinted delightfully at the amount and released some vapors before putting the compass away as Maddox entered the bridge.
"At ease, Mr. Graves. As you might remember, me, you and first mate Caine will have an intriguing discussion."
Yuga turned around to look directly at Maddox, "What you can do right now however, is give me a report on our wounded."
...
Markus had gone to his room and changed form combat gear into his casuals, ie camo pants, boots and a smudged tanktop.
He sat down on the floor and calmly began cleaning his rifle whilst whistling a slow tune.
He had planned to wait until he was actually called to the bridge before going to the briefing.
"Did he now? Well, I could use a new one actually, but I'll need time to pick one. Last one was from a few years ago.Got it while I was still running with the Sisters. 'Sisterhood till the very end. Or untill we stab you in the back'. Take it from me, they think they are better than the Omegas, but they are the exact same garbage as them."
Yanim and Rask each checked into the medbay to be treated for their injuries, and were placed on adjacent tables. "[She did a good job, you know,]" Rask said with a hint of self-satisfaction. Yanim grunted an indifferent reply. "[Your pick would've been arrested in the middle of the mission. The crew needs someone in control, not someone on the front line.]"
"[You're spineless,]" Yanim hissed. "[She's not in this for the crew.]"
"[You still don't trust her? And honestly- you've got a lot of nerve to say that when I'm sitting on a hospital bed just the same as you.]"
"[...Fine. I'm sorry. But you know as well as I do that Yuga isn't like you or me. She doesn't know what it's like to be abandoned, ostracized, exiled, hunted.]"
"[Neither does most of the crew.]"
"[But they at least comprehend it. This galaxy uses people like us like cattle and destroys those who steps out of line. Those who haven't been through what we've experienced at least understand that it will happen if they get careless. But Yuga- she's still clinging to her social hierarchy. She wants to integrate with the system, I'm convinced.]"
"[She just helped us tear the Collective a new one. I think she can be useful.]"
Yanim grunted again, more annoyed than before. Rask sighed. Even when he knew he was right, the Boss seemed to act like she was several steps ahead. Like there was some basic law of the universe that he was failing to grasp. He scoffed. She did a good job.
---
A while later, Rask arrived on the bridge, where he planned to give the mission debriefing and crew commendations. Yanim relocated to her quarters, where she planned to speak privately with a few crewmembers over their poor conduct.
((I'm going to bed now. The debriefing and the ass-chewing will happen tomorrow.))
Maddox nodded. "Vakarus and Dio suffered serious injuries, the former is in critical condition. Rask, Yanim and Amelia suffered minor wounds. No casualties on our side."
"Did he now? Well, I could use a new one actually, but I'll need time to pick one. Last one was from a few years ago.Got it while I was still running with the Sisters. "Oh, trust me. I know. Worked with them once on a job." said Valkyrie, folding her arms. "Anyway, check with your bro about his idea. And take your time picking out what you want. First tat is free."
....
Taylor emerged from her room, wearing clothes similar to those she wore when she first boarded the ship. She had washed the blonde dye out of her short hair, reverting her hair color back to brunette. She was a lot more relaxed now. Slamming Valkyrie like that seemed to have made her feel a bit better. She slipped her military cap back on, and reported directly to the bridge.
As soon as she arrived next to Mad, she saluted. "First Officer Caine, reporting."
[Heading to bed for the night. You guys have control of Valkyrie and Taylor.]
After Harvey woke up, János clothed him up and escorted him out of the ship. He gave him a pat on the back and reassured him that he could live a peaceful life, not fearing anyone chasing him down. He waved goodbye to him, before returning to the Brig. He stayed there until everyone returned.
After everyone came back, János left the Brig and wandered aimlessly around the ship, to see if anyone was willing to talk about the race.

Running into the medbay with a bandage strapped on her hip, Amelia gets her gloves ready to help some of the crew back together. Her major wasn't medical, but she knew it well enough to perform surgery and other medical precidures. Dio and Vakarus, both heavily wounded, were laying down on operating tables. After hastily hooking them up to monitors to display their status, she waits for the screen to turn on, then a bright blue light shown throw both of their respective monitors.
Vakarus: Multiple gunshots to the torso | Internal organs: heavily damaged.
"Eh... Abrax will take care of that him with his voo-doo stuffins. He'll be stable as long as he's hooked up." she turns her attention to Dio.
Dio: Multiple gunshots to the everywhere | Shoulder dislocated, bullet in cheast which must be removed, knee dislocated, muscles tense.
"Okay, I can work with this." she cracks her knuckles and gets to work.
She sighs, "Time for the icky part." Amelia injects them with some anesthesia, putting them under (like they weren't already) First, she pulls a bullet out of Dio's cheast with pliers. Luckily, it missed his heart by a few centimeters. The bullet falls into a glass cylinder, a few bits of blood splatters on the sides.
"Okay, dislocations." She takes his arm and shoulder, ready for the pop. 1, 2, 3. Crack snapple pop they are connected again. That wasn't so bad. Now his knee. She grabbed her lower leg, then the top of her knee. 1, 2, 3. She grunted, bit her tongue, struggled, sliding her feet on the med bay floor. After 30 seconds of struggling, she finally pops the leg back into the socket.
"Whew," she wipes her forehead. Now it's time for the healing process. A mysterious machine turns on, putting both Vakarus and Dio out of further harm. Before leaving, she synchronizes the monitors to her watch, which will notify her if anything goes wrong. Just as she is about to walk out the door, Amelia places a sign next to Vakarus that reads, "For Abrax <3" She chuckles, then leaves for her room.
------
Plopping on the bed with her back, she takes out her journal and writes down the log for today.
The one thing that she couldn't get out of her mind was Yamin. Her reaction to the death of innocents was... frightening. What's right about killing people who can't defend themselves? They were simply watching a race, that's all.
Amelia closes her jounal, putting it underneath her bed. She pulls up her purple blankets and rests on her pillows...
Abraxas walked forward, surgery tools in hand while the IVs are set up with Dio and Vakarus knocked out cold. He folded his arms and pulled out several needles. That nano medical technology was bullshit compared to traditional medicine and herbs. Abraxas wondered if nanotechnology really were the future and if taken to extreme maybe a way to control.
Abraxas nevertheless inserted needles across the monk's body. Jabbing them with a hard slam. He went to his potion supply and grabbed his type of item to enhance the healing process quadually. Injecting the potion within Vakarus's veins he then patched up several torso wounds via white bandages.
Abraxas went to Dio, slapping him across the face. "Dumbasses." He muttered, injecting him with a Human remedy.
Amelia wakes up from a notification on her watch that Dio has been subjected to a slap in the face. "Aw c'mon, Abrax, lighten up." she falls back to sleep.
