the 50 man firefight was hilarious because of how laggy it was with 80 people on.
meatballers won tho which was p. cool
Can someone tell me how serious this server is? I like my RPs fairly srs, no prop building cars or anything, and was wondering if I'd like it here.

From what I've seen, remaining serious is not a strong-point of The Spire. However, they do ban outright mingery from what I know.
*screenshots*
yeah, the guy who did that event probably got banned instantly.
the artwork? person got their ept removed for that. (i was there for that)
tacobell? yes, because nobody thought to put the words taco and bell together. ever. it's canon there.
Monkah just because you can't put up a server and get more than 3 people on it doesn't mean you should try and shitpost on other successful server threads. I mean, I've tried to talk to you in your C16 server channel about your gamemode progress, to which you told me to stop trolling you? I guess expecting progress on anything you do is so ridiculous that you consider it trolling.
tl;dr stop being a twat.
The server is able to take the piss out of itself and survives because it has a sense of humor at times.
Fallout is not always 100 percent super srs depressing.

We have mafia securitrons that make pizza and are a legit faction in the server.
We have a really weird culture here.
The staff on this server are absolutely horrible from what I've seen and heard. I joined the TS3 one day and was instantly spammed by a couple of the staff members because a lot of them know me from Cloudsixteen. It's very unprofessional and doesn't really make your server look appealing at all.

I didn't know that gaming communities had to be professional on teamspeak 3. However if you really feel that upset that you were treated in an 'absolutely horrible' manner, you could have asked myself or advantage to come handle the situation.
i dunno
i came onto the teamspeak and they were pretty cool with me.
Best roleplay server.
I don't mean it's ideal. I don't like how everyone has an arsenal of weaponry (I have seen people with 4 guns at once, one being a gatling-something). The events are fun and happen quite often though. Had some thrills, and not just from admin created things.
I would say: last hope for serious rp out there.

I love doing events, especially the scene building aspect where I make sure that everything is absolutely perfect, lighting, particles, some sounds including music. Then making sure that the event conveys a mood similar to the atmosphere. I'm not sure if you were there for the nuclear silo event but we spent about 3 days piecing together a massive bunker that spanned from the outpost to Nipton (in terms of general map size) just for a 3 hour event. Paid off in my opinion.
I recognize where I am right now from FO:NV but the road getting here was completely incorrect and didn't follow any of the game's terrain at all. The spacing between the nearby locations is 1/8 the distance in the actual game. There aren't even the correct enemy spawns here and the building interior is wrong. Also, why is it raining in a post apocalyptic nuclear desert?

Also I don't recall traffic lights working perfectly in FO:NV almost everywhere but maybe that's just me.

Because geometric accuracy to the game is more important than the quality of roleplay, ability of administration, and maturity of playerbase. Right.
Legit mapping king right here

Yes it is considering I had no idea where I was for 5 minutes and I have over 40 hours logged in the game and could tell you the fastest way to get to the Remmants Bunker from the crashed Enclave Vertibird in 30 seconds.
Let's just recreate the entirety of the Mojave Wasteland in Hammer. No limitations whatsoever.

The hype that was made surrounding this made it seem that this is what you guys were going for. It was completely overrated.
There is a map update being worked on to add a good bit more.

A large chunk is being added to the map if you find the current section too small.
