"Well...Yes, I would like to resume it if you would let me, Sir." Viper said before leaning to the side on the bar counter.
"Yeah sure go ahead." Jeremy insisted as he received his glass of water. Gulping down the water through his throat hole.
Dwan was startled by Viper's reaction to his question. He decides to ask what Viper wants later. He hears Jeremy's order, as he brings him a glass of water. Returning to the counter, he saw Zarbon and Lion enter. He gave Lion his syntholeum, while giving Zarbon a confused look. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I'm not willing to fulfill your order. Would you like something else?", he asked Zarbon.
Utilizing all available floor space from the workshop into the hangar as well as several droids to assist with machining, assembly, and welding, Yanim was able to build a set of six ATDs simultaneously to follow the captain's. They would be assigned based on hierarchy, wherein the leads in each of the three departments would get theirs first, followed by the chief enforcer and the head surgeon. The entire security team would follow, but only one would receive an ATD from the first batch. When she was ready, she sent notices to Varn, Arthur, Lion, Joseph, and Sledge to alert them of their bikes' availability, although the latter's malproportioned body made her worry.
Viper was quite surprise by the Captain's response, unsure what to make of his rather informal nature but was glad to be Head of Security again. "Thank you Sir, and what about the other things you wish to talk about?" Viper said while looking over the other crew members within the bar before turning to face Jeremy

"You know about that conversation we've had about those Sanghvi Elders in order to regenerate your full body? Since we now have free time I think we can contact them. Meet them on our way to Duroma above orbit."
Viper paused for an moment before replying back to Jeremy "Acknowledged.....I'l start contacting them as soon as possible but I have to tell you....Their most likely going to have an small guard with them as they are highly valuable within Sanghvi hierarchy to leave without one....Most likely going to be an Sanghvi warrior sect as inter species relations between Sanghvi and other are......Well, strained to say the least."
Dwan makes a Blue Blazer with a bit of flair bartending. He hands the drink over to Zarbon. "Viper, now that you're calmed down, would you like a drink?", he asked Viper.
Viper looked over to Dwan, his question for if Viper wanted any of the alcoholic liquids available within the bar. Viper had an very basic understanding of alcohol, never trying them due to UGC active duty protocol or any real interest in them. However as Viper was begin to feel a bit more relived more then usual, felt like taking an chance in the informal nature of the ship and see why these soft-carbons seemed to enjoy in indulging these liquids. "Give me one of your...more stronger alcoholic..drinks." Viper said with an sarcastic tone as the Sanghvi leaned in on the counter. Eager to see what the soft-carbon can make.
Dwan could just sense the relief in Viper's voice, as he was asked to get a stronger drink. Dwan looked through his shelves. He didn't want to give Viper any of the gargle blasters he had given Sledge, but he didn't want to pull a fast one and give a lighter drink. He decides to pour a glass of one of his stronger absinthes. He gives the glass to Viper. "Here you are. Hope you enjoy it.", he tells Viper with a wink.
Arthur had made his way back to the lab, wondering if that new enforcer was planning on molesting him while he slept. He considered ways of securing the locks to his room, as he set out a proper bed for Snufflebuns along with a saucer of milk. As he finished, a message came through to him, addressed from his new colleague, Nycho, requesting his presence. he made his way up to her quarters immediately. "A good evening, Ms Shayus. How may I..." Arthur stopped, after Nycho had allowed him in. Arthur trailed off, marveling at the set up room that Nycho had already made for herself. Arthur spoke to the Ayr once again, as he studied the holographic flight path she had around the middle of the room. "I see you've made yourself comfortable. That's good. I appreciate the air of professionalism you clearly have. It's quite the breath of fresh air. Anyway, how may I help you?" Arthur asked Nycho.
Nycho walked over to the other end of the holotable, and put her hands behind her back. "Mr. Beasley, there is no need for such formalities. I enjoy working in tidy spaces is all." she shimmed, gesturing around her room. "Now, onto the errand I called you for". She walked over to one of the bookshelves and took out a holobook. As she opened it it showed a similar map to the holotable, although noticeably older. "As you can see, the Kauzen held a lot of solarsystems under their control when they were still around and locating the remaining piece, or pieces, of the oracle will prove quite the task. However..", she paused to look up at Arthur, squintting her eyes in a reassuring manner. She continued "being the 'serious scientist' you have credited me to be I have narrowed down some planets that could give us potential leads to the next piece to 4 planets.". She swirled her fingers in the holomap. "These 4 planets could be the one, but, to exclude 3 more I would need a kauzen artifact." She closed the book and walked around to Arthur. "I've understood that you are a man that get things done. If you could do this it would help immensly, I suggest you discuss with Captain Spacehawk on the matter". She went to sit down at her desk, but then she looked back up and let out a quick giggle. "Oh, and please doctor, don not worry about Zorban for he is already entrusted to another".
Viper did an quick nod to Dwan as he passed the drink over to Viper, taking an moment to look it over before opening two mandibles under the head. The Sanghvi then pick up the glass with it's left claw, cracking the glass as it raised the glass upwards, then dipping the tip of it's head into the glass before quickly taking it back out, letting the alcohol flow down to it's mandibles. This was repeated several times as Viper begin watching the holo scene, tuned in on what appeals to be the Intergalactica news during the middle report of an disaster.
INTERGALACTICA TERRORIST ATTACK ON SOL DEFENSE STATION 2419 TERRA'S STAR Reporter, Ron Marder on scene reporting from an UGC vessel as UGC personal running back and forth in the background, yelling his words as soldiers work on deck. . "-From what I been told, there has been no reports of any survivors found on board any of the launched escape pods, at this time it seems that all hands aboard the 200 year old station has been loss. I repeat all hands on the station have been declared K.I.A." Marder said before wiping off the sweat from forehead and looking down at an data pad in his hands. "The fallowing docked ships, the SDS Rommel, the SDS Patton and the SDS Montgomery seemed to have been caught in blast as well. marking the estimated death troll to upwards to be an of 7000 lives." Marder said, cutting to a large view of the scattered remains of the station along with docked ships that were destroyed in the blast.
Lion drank all of the syntholeum and sat in silence as it began doing wonders to his internal components. "Thanks Dwan." He said just before he left. Lion decided to head down to the hangar and as soon as he stepped into the elevator he received a notirication from Yanim regarding the ATDs. Excited, he walked in a much faster pace towards the hangar. He entered and was just about to greet Yanim when he was met by the sight of several shiny ATDs being all lined up. "[Amazing.]" He said in kanad before falling to his knees next to one of the vehicles. "It's like being a kid again..."
[sorry if this post is late and if I get the details wrong for the story, if need be I can edit it] Jeb looked at Varn. "10 years? Have you tried to contact your former comrades, or did the exile extend to communication as well?" Jeb asked.
"I can talk to them, but most of them don't talk back. The exile prevents me from returning home, which cuts me off from resources, like armor, guns, my personal funds and a roof over my head. Everything I had up until I joined the crew, I had to get on my own. Granted, they send me some money my way, but it barely lasts a week."
Sledge had put the rover down and returned to his quarters to get Hercules, who was utterly and completely confused at Sledge's new hulkish appearance but was quickly reassured when Sledge gave him a pet on the snout and a couple of raw potatoes he'd picked up from the mess hall. Sledge told Herc about lifting the Rover and invited him down to the hangar to come see. On their way, Sledge got the message from Yanim advertising the new HOVER BIKES. Sledge and Herc raced down to the hangar to see. There they were, all lined up in a row. Lion was already there checking out one of the other bikes so Sledge excitedly raced to another. He didn't waste any time firing it up and watching it hover a few inches off of the ground. He slung his body over and dropped into the seat, only to hear a loud clunk and scraping noise as the thrusters were unable to support his weight. He quickly got up and examined the floor that now had a few scrapes and scorch marks. Oops. "Yo, Yanim!" he yelled to get her attention, "Could you help a brother out? This bike's gonna need some more oomph if it's gonna get me airborne."
Arthur smiled at the Ayr. "Ah, then may I call you Nycho? I believe that would be quite informal for us both." Arthur replied. He leaned back and considered Nycho's request for a minute. "First of all, you must understand that I consider you to be serious compared to the rest of the staff in my area that the captain has employed. Our surgeon is a nutcase, while we have another scientist that would think nothing of cornering you in the toilets for a sample of your fecal matter, so someone so dedicated to their craft is more than a breath of fresh air." Arthur explained, as he moved onto the matter at hand. "Yes, I understand your request, and I'd be more than willing to help you in this matter. However, I must suggest that you ask the captain yourself. As a new member of staff, I would hazard a guess that you would be distinguishing yourself quite a bit by doing this. Yes, Captain Spacehawk would certainly commend you for such research, given that it has the potential to put us that much closer to achieving the goal that Mr Saw has given to us. That is my thoughts on the matter, though I will ask Jeremy myself if you still so wish." Arthur stated. He narrowed his eyes at Nycho. "Two things I must ask, however. Firstly, I'm not quite sure I understand the connection between the Kauzen and this oracle. If you're suggesting that you have knowledge of some connection that we did not know about, then I would suggest that you immediately inform the captain of said knowledge. Secondly, from the fact that you heard my thoughts about this Zorban fellow, means almost certainly that you can read minds as well as communicate with them. I don't mean to tell you to knock it off, or threaten you if you do this again, but is there any chance that you could perhaps tune this ability down a little? I doubt that many people on this ship would appreciate their minds being invaded like that... then again, I certainly wouldn't mind performing a little mischief with this ability in the future." Arthur joked, smirking at Nycho.
Nycho squinted back. "Of course, Arthur. It's simply a little trick I play on people. If you wish for it to stop, then certainly." She stood up from her chair. "As for the correlation between the Kauzen and the oracle I have reason to believe that, them being an ancient race that controlled half the galaxy, they either had knowledge about the oracle or may even have been the creators of it." She then lowered her eyebrows a little. "Now what I am about to tell you is for yours and the captains ears only." Nycho opened the safe behind her desk. She produced a small piece of the oracle. "This is, of course, not a piece of the real orcle. This is merely a copy that Mr.Saw had made for me. It is useless and will not work with the other pieces. I simply need a kauzen artifact to find any similarities between these two". Nycho locked the copy back in the safe, and then looked back at Arthur. "I would suggest you discuss with the captain. If you want him to be absolutely convinced, you can bring him here."
Squish went over and pressed the intercom again. "Sledge, could you come down to the science lab. I have some things I need you to take care of." "Bring the hammer." [editline]12th June 2015[/editline] (Pfft, going through any means necessary is a sign of serious dedication. Arthur doesn't know the meaning of hard work. I will get my samples, just you wait and see.)
Sledge heard Squish come over the intercom and couldn't help feeling like he was being summoned to the principal's office. Couldn't he have just sent a com message or something? Excusing himself and Hercules from the hangar bay, Sledge headed up to the science lab. His hammers were holstered on each hip, as always. "Yo, Squish, you wanted to see me?"
Dwan watched as Viper drank the absinthe. He cleaned up the mess Viper left on the counter. "I'm going to have to get a Sanghvi glass for the bar.", he thought to himself. As he continued cleaning the bar, he began to wonder about things.
Squish notices Sledge come in. "Yes, I need you to dispose of these dog-sized fleas I have in these cages." (I hope he doesn't take these fleas and make them into pets) (I don't know how to do the com message. :P)
In a few hours, Archius XI have entered through the Duo System, far away from the inhabitable Gadon. Duroma was right there on their radar. A planet of poor trading yet relaxation where no organization wouldn't bother harming it due to it being plain and no great strategic value. This desert planet was a great place to hide and trade. Archius XI stood by and floated near the planet. No security patrols in sight either. Archius XI was currently in disguise mode. Whatever the members wanted to do is up to them.
[Continue what actions you guys were doing previously, this is just a reminder we're now in Duroma. ]
After finishing the alcoholic drink and making sure to carefully put down glass without shattering it, Viper did an tipsy to look over to Dwan. "Thank yo-you soft-car-ca-carbon.....now, if you could...excuse me." Viper said while taking a few clumsy steps back from counter, nearly faling down as the Shanghvi tired to reach the restrooms. Knocking down several chairs and crewman along the way.
"[I am glad to see you like it,]" Yanim replied to Lion. At that time, there were no differences between the vehicles, but she would be willing to customize them at crew request. At that moment, Sledge tried to climb onto another one, with the ATD failing to cope with his bulk. "Stakat? <Seriously?>" She paced around Sledge's overloaded bike as the latter dusted himself off and answered Squish's summons. The bike was meant to adjust its power automatically to compensate for heavier loads while idling, but Sledge was apparently heavy enough to exceed the maximum and bottom the machine out before it could do so. Reluctantly, she accessed its logic board and adjusted its response time accordingly, while also increasing the maximum thrust to 60%. She then ordered a drone to stencil the names of Lion and Sledge into their respective vehicles, in white against the black surface of the machine, so that they could be identified when stowed upright in the hangar. This is why she was glad each machine would have its own key; it would be very dangerous for someone small like Dwan or herself to "borrow" Sledge's ATD. During the rest of the flight to Duroma, she would finish manufacturing the second and third batches, plus a fourth batch of five, for a total of two dozen vehicles. They were arranged vertically on each side of the hangar bay, a dozen on each side. This provided transportation to the captain, everyone working in the three major departments (including Viper, who required many accommodations including a totally redesigned seating arrangement), plus Dwan and Colin. The remaining crew members could have one built on request, but would need to contribute payment. It was expensive to build so many of the bikes, but at least they would remain the property of the ship and HarkArk, giving them an extremely long projected service life.
Lion observed as the drone stenciled his name into the vehicle. As soon as it was done, he decided to add his unique Lionshead symbol next to the nametag. After that he began scanning it, his virtualized brain and the onboard computer almost went haywire as he began exploring what modifications he could add to it. He rose up and turned to Yanim. "[Thank you friend, this will serve the crew well. Do you mind if I add my own modifications to the vehicle?]" Said Lion in perfect kanad.
(Is the ship going to land or stay in orbit?)
Jeremy walked to the bridge seeing Duroma in plain sight. "Alright, it should be safe to land. Go for the clear zone you two." Archius began to descend.
