"Okay, you guys deserve to know. When I went down to get healed up by Arthur, I got him to take a sample of me so he would clone me. The Clone Jeremy was sent up to the Bridge to contact Bruta, I think Kr was there, the memories are starting to merge..darn side effects, anyway once that happened and he was contacted, Clone Jeremy setup everything in the Hangar, of course I went to the Hangar before hand so I could go underneath the table. Once I was under the table, two things could happen, Clone Jeremy dies and I kill Bruta, or Bruta dies and we would be stuck with two Jeremy's. Of course I had a backup in the latter did happen, I would put him in cyrostasis in case I died. Anyway, this hole in my head, it's a side effect. It doesn't hurt but, I assume it's not good to have a open hole." Jeremy explained to the crew.
[editline]29th March 2015[/editline]
"You are right, I am sorry Kr. I guess my ego did get the better of me." Jeremy apologized to Kr.
[editline]29th March 2015[/editline]
"Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" Jeremy asked.
"Start actually communicating, show me your rank, proof that you actually did graduate from a certified officer's training corp, and start actually giving me staff so I don't have to give up sleep having to monitor the reactor. If you actually knew anything about starships you'd have brought on a full engineering crew from the onset. Reactor systems require constant maintenance and monitoring by a full team of engineers, not just one individual. I recommend we go to Rigel, they're known for doing good work."
"Arthur, be nice to Kr, it's my fault....Also Arthur, it's a bit late to go back, they left, I got them to leave by having the Head captain act as Bruta. But, there is a better prize in the hangar, the Bruta, I still have his head, I know you can wipe his memory and bring him back, you can do whatever you want to him, without cloning him." Jeremy said.
"God dam, my head. Shouldn't have brought that on board. Should have gone straight to the bar, but noo, got to try Kaz's mystery brew. Dumbass. Well best make my way to the bridge and hope the captain doesent throw me out the airlock for being an idiot."
After looking around and noticing where he was and that his gun and ammo were nowhere near him, Varn decides that maybe the armory is a better stop before reporting for duty.

"I agree, though we MUST find the pirate ship and scour it for resources to sell, if we are to afford this team of engineers."

"Fine, here is my certificate and rank." Jeremy said, he then typed on his Arm computer and brought up his Certificate on a holo screen.

"Does this please you? And I will give you staff once we have clones, you can have as many as you want....Actually, I just want to bring up one thing. Why have you been neglecting your other Staff member? Isaac?" Jeremy asked..
Lion was staring silently at the hole in the captains head. He quickly rushed forward, gave the captain a bearhug before he went down to the armory.
"Uh, I'll be down in the armory. Making guns for us..." he then left the room.
"But, there is a better prize in the hangar, the Bruta, I still have his head, I know you can wipe his memory and bring him back, you can do whatever you want to him, without cloning him." Jeremy said.
"Are you sure, captain? We'll be able to make some major cash by attempting to find the ship. Can you at least attempt to locate them?"
Arthur broke off from the captain, intending to find the Bruta's head, and remake the alien.
"Whatever you choose, I'll be preoccupied for the next few hours, resurrecting this fellow and wiping his memories. I'm sure we'll be able to turn him in at Rigel and make some good money from his bounty."

"Me? Neglecting Isaac? The soft-skin hasn't had anything to do. All I need him for is fixing the odd bot when it breaks down, or for helping me coordinate them. Aside from that he doesn't hardly do anything I need. He has no experience with engine or power systems, so I have little need of him. Has he not been doing his duties? And on the subject of clones: I do not want any. I want fresh perspectives on problems, not just my own repeated over and over again for the same problems. Clones are good in relatively static systems, but when change occurs they rapidly become inefficient and are not good at adapting to new problems in new ways."

"He has requested your help multiple times, in fact, he is more active as an Engineer than you, an Engineer not only looks after the ship, but also makes stuff that helps the crew. Lion couldn't get what he wanted since you didn't reply to Isaac's permission request." Jeremy said.
Utterly confounded, Yanim suddenly bolted to her feet. She placed a few more coins on the counter to account for the drink she had just downed before walking over to the group, which was currently engaged in an argument.
I AM THE CHIEF ENGINEER OF THIS SHIP. I AM ENTITLED TO BEING AWARE...
Kr, the alien Yanim encountered at the bar, was the chief engineer she had been looking for. Why had he not identified himself? Was he self-absorbed?
When I went down to get healed up by Arthur, I got him to take a sample of me so he would clone me...
Arthur saved the captain's life? Yanim felt dizzy as she forced a smile and tried to congratulate him. Turning back to Kr, she interjected into the argument, translated parts in brackets:
"Chief engineer, I am Yanim, maintenance technician. With your permission, I would like authority to maintain [all nominal operations of flight-critical components.] Of course, in all cases your word is chief. [I am trained and quite capable of handling minor performance issues.]"
"Fine, if you don't want clones, we will go to Rigel, but only after you start working with Isaac, PROPERLY." Jeremy said agitated.
[editline]29th March 2015[/editline]
"Heck, you didn't even know Yanim existed, I updated your staff log when me and Yanim met." Jeremy said.

Mini-Roll:[4] The Archius Crew's attempts to located the already gone Pirate ship have gone to no where. Their hopes of getting the spare resources in order to replenish have been lost.
Seems like the captain didn't hear Dwan offer a drink. No matter. Looking at his weapons (the revolver, the backpack cannon and the power hammer), Dwan puts a "Closed: Will Be Back in 20 Minutes" sign on the counter and decides to go to the armory to have his weaponry checked up.
After spending some time picking out a weapon, Varn settled for the shotgun and pistol combination he has always known and loved. Long range he was screwed, but he loved the rush of charging his opponents.
Once he was done with that he looked up the name of his superiors and the name of the chief securedy officer send a chill down his spine.
"Leon Eastlindht! Shit, now I'm definitely getting shot out the airlock!"
Just then he heard the door open and was staring at the man himself. In a panic he hurried to show of his badge before he got into more trouble.

Kr, has been checking his tablet.
"Captain, I see no unfulfilled requests. I built the sentry guns that Lion requested and placed them in all major junctions of the ship. I haven't heard from Isaac since he sent me his technical report before the boarding. Didn't he go to the bridge?"
He turns to the new engineer, his compound eyes looking them up and down. He offers a clawed hand to them in the approximation of a human fist.
"Good to meet you Yanim. You have full permissions to do your job, go ahead and do an evaluation of the systems you are trained to work with and send me a report on their status. Good to have you in the bay."

"What about the Cage Mount he requested? That never got through to you." Jeremy said.
"What about the Cage Mount he requested? That never got through to you." Jeremy said.
"Cage Mount? I see no requests here in my personal queue." Kr'fernir shows the captain, no request for a cage mount is there. Last changes to the queue is shown as being three days ago.
Walking into his lab, Arthur couldn't help but smile when thinking about the flushed and embarrassed Kanad. That smug creature may have a society built around genetics, but it was nothing compared to a lifetime of work and learning on the subject, especially when put to use saving the entire crew.
Pondering this thought, Arthur walked over to his intercom, setting its frequency to the bar.
"Dwan, could you do me a favour? Tell Yanim that we should meet for drinks some time, and... Compare notes. I'd very much like to get under her skin one day.
With that, he begun work on resurrecting the Bruta.
Before he could leave the bar, the intercom buzzed.
"Dwan, could you do me a favour? Tell Yanim that we should meet for drinks some time, and... Compare notes. I'd very much like to get under her skin one day.", Arthur says over the Intercom. Dwan couldn't help but notice how Arthur is a man of.... many tastes. He writes down a note for Yanim, hands it to her and heads out of the bar to the armory.

"Well it must be broken, since I remember Lion talking about it." Jeremy said.
*Sigh*
"I just remembered, we gotta figure out what the orb the Head Captain had was, I am going back to the Bridge and I will try talking to him again." Jeremy said.
Jeremy then went back to the Bridge and sat down.
"Head Captain, Bruta is dead, the Pirates are gone, you have two options, tell me what you know about this Orb, and I will let you go along with a healed crotch, or you I dunno, stay prisoner on this ship I guess, I am not that insane, I don't like killing people unless necessary." Jeremy said.
"Oh and don't forget that the AI can tell when you are lying...Also here, since it's been a bit, have some more Pain Killers." Jeremy said, he then gave the Head Pirate some pain killers.
Kr'fernir goes back to the engine room, he's looking at how he might improve the efficiency of the main reactor in order to facilitate longer flight times and lower fuel costs.

Lion was confused as to why there was a armed person in the armory, even more why he was showing a badge.
"Stand down, can I help you with something?"
Lion moved forward to greet him.
"Lion, security and weapons tech. Pleased to meet you."
Yanim pocketed the note, but was certain that she wouldn't bother meeting with the scientist on those terms. She had talked shit about humanity, but she had underestimated the eccentric scientist. He was obviously some sort of outlier among the humans, and anyone could have made that mistake, she reasoned. No use fretting over her bad luck, especially since she had finally been given a real job. She thanked Kr and then followed Dwan to the armory to check in her OBV rifle. As she walked, she carefully discharged the excess coil charge in the receiver, preserving the cartridge for future use.
One day she would rebuild this gun to her own specifications, but for now she had work to do.
Dwan goes down the elevator, heads left and enters the armory.
"Hello everyone.", Dwan says, greeting Lion and the other guy. "Lion, I'd like to have my weaponry checked.", Dwan asked.
[And if possible, speak over Steam.]
Well he wasn't mad, that's a good sign.
"Yes sir. Im Varn Merner, member of the "Boome marines" mercenary group. I was hired to be a sec. enforcer on this ship. I was just restocking on ammo. And as to why I didn't report earlier, well I got a bit drunk the night before launch and woke up in what looked like the archives."
[Updated the Op, in case people wanted to know. I also added and even made a Tvtropes page, if you have the chance feel free to pretty it up.] http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Roleplay/SpaceshipCrewRP
[In around a week, we've gotten 18 players and gone through 9 pages. Amazing.]
Lion shook Varns hand before heading to his desk.
"Boom Marines huh? I hope you have more brains than most other Boomers I've met."
Lion turned to Dwan and nodded. "I'll have them in tip-top shape i notime." Said Lion before bringing up a plethora of tools.
"Varn, the security room is next door. I suggest you go meet your colleague before picking out your bunk to sleep in."
Yanim entered the armory shortly after Dwan. Nodding at her comrades in greeting, she quietly placed the rifle and three plasma cartridges on a nearby table. "Please count rifle among others. [The coil interchange is extremely delicate. Please do not open the upper-receiver heat casing for any reason; it can discharge and explode even while the weapon is unloaded.] Much thanks for everything, Lion."
At this point, Yanim noticed Varn and, realizing that he was an enforcer, gave an expression which implied "where have you been?" Shaking her head and grumbling to herself, she left the room to go report to the engine bay.
"Head Captain, Bruta is dead, the Pirates are gone, you have two options, tell me what you know about this Orb, and I will let you go along with a healed crotch, or you I dunno, stay prisoner on this ship I guess, I am not that insane, I don't like killing people unless necessary." The Head Pirate sighed in frustration, his boss was dead and the pirate ship left him behind. He spotted the orb. "I already told you we were only ordered to get the orb and then kill all you people! What more do you want from me man? A description of that ball shit going haywire when I picked it up a few seconds later, seeing some vision that looked like a ghost just went up and smacked me in the face?!"
