Andron tilted its head, clearly such non-lethal doses of tranquilizers weren't effective on this member. He heard during their journey to Duroma about this member striving to study a tomato before it arrived on this ship. It scanned for more info on this man as he awaited his next action.
(Its much bigger than shrek, but sort of yeah. Like a super shrek.)

Andron knew this was a waste of time and so closed the door, hurrying across the labs to see scientists such as Joseph. He noticed the used syringe laying on the floor. If stories of this tomato were true then someone created this thing in the first place and the reason for this effect. Andron went to the mess hall and saw the crew mates and Master Chef Otso feeding the organics. He found food to be disgusting and energy wasting. He walked up to the Master Chef and excused to pardon him from serving dinner. "Pardon me, I wish to enter through your kitchen. A fellow crew mate is already raising havoc on the lower decks." It stared at Otso. "Oh of course of course, just don't take the bread will you?" Otso asked with kindness. Why would it steal bread in the first place? It's a robot.

Andron proceeded to the kitchen and noticed its surroundings... Andron had to admit this place was filthy, as in none of the counters, shelves, and equipment weren't clean in weeks. Possibly even more than that. Who manages the cleaning around here? Andron knows there was supposed to be a janitor on clean up duty daily but other than that nobody bothered.
He scanned his surroundings and saw a cockroach crawl up to the ceiling. He saw the new microwave sitting near a corner. The old one most likely busted when this tomato came out. But the thing what Andron wanted to figure out is how the hell can a tomato be alive? He opened the fridge. And saw a 3 inch container, its label unidentifiable by a black piece of tape. Andron slowly peeled it off to reveal the label called Mutagen paste. What buffoon keeps mutagen paste in a fridge? Let alone the mess hall of all places.
Andron heard a noise and turned seeing a canteen worker holding the dishes. "Yo!" He said placing the dishes on a nearby counter. "What are you doing here?" He asked, he wondered until he saw the mutagen paste in the robot's hand. He widened his eyes and got nervous. "uh..."
"I could comment the same thing human, what are you doing here?" The robot said as it moved in close but in response the worker moved back. "Identify yourself." Andron stated.
"Mick Anderson. Canteen Worker." He said with angst. Eying the paste.
"You're eying the paste Mr. Anderson. Do you have something to say?" It pressured him until he simply gave in. "Alright alright, I was the one who created the tomato, I thought it would be a funny joke..." Andron observed the container, extending it to his face. "Where did you get this? The labs I assume? If so then theft of HarkArk property and misuse of scientific objects will no doubt throw you into the Brig." Andron threatened Anderson and it was no doubt he wouldn't be let off scot free especially when he was indirectly responsible for a member turning into a monster.
"Look I'm sorry, I didn't think it would go badly." He meant it, a joke gone horribly wrong yet right at the same time. "Is there any way we can reverse its effects? Because of your action a member is uncontrollable."
"Shit. Look I'm just a canteen worker, I placed the tomato and gave it a little paste and set the timer on. Like on those social media videos." Andron stared at him, it calculated the thought of reversing the effect if given some time. Andron needed to sacrifice another microwave.
...
Andron entered through the Zoo Chambers once again and carried a large cage with it. Andron laid the large cage and unveil it's contents, revealing to be a 5 ft tomato once again in the flesh. The robot pulled out a large dejection syringe, this was the solution. Of course this wouldn't work on other mutations but since the mutation is simply an enhanced version of tomato juice this would be easy. It kicked the cage and the tomato complied by screaming throughout the room.
"Agreed.", Dwan responded. As he laid on his back, he thought to himself. What happened today once more reminded Dwan how serious this is going to get. He knew that everyone was going to have to give 101% from themselves. He knew that he'll have to reveal his truth. As he sat again, he decided that the only person he trusted with his truth was Lion. He clenched his left hand. "Lion, how well do you keep secrets? Personal secrets?", he asked him in a serious tone.
"I value integrity and loyalty Dwan, to fail to keep a secret would be to fail myself. In other words, very good."
Said Lion.
Dwan glanced at his clenched left hand before making a big sigh. He looks straight at Lion. "Lion. I'm not from this world.", he told him.
"This world as in Duroma or this world as in this universe? I'm guessing you mean the latter?" Said Lion with a curious tone in his voice.
"The latter. I'm not from this universe.", Dwan said. He raises his left hand in front of himself. Suddenly, his left hand and part of his forearm are engulfed in a blue-like flame. "Don't worry, it's just cosmetic.", Dwan tells him with a smile.
"I have the ability to jump universes.", he tells Lion, wondering how he is going to respond.
Lion was baffled. He was surprised when Dwan confirmed that he was from another universe, even more so when he created blue flames from thin air.
"You... what? How?"
"The blue flames, as I said, are cosmetic. They more or less represent that my 'caldic wand' is active.", Dwan said, indicating that his wand is his left hand, as well as his left forearm. "I come from a world where caldiur exists. My caldiur is genetic, inherited from my mother.", he explained. "The laws of caldury are one of the laws of the multiverse that fluctuates in each universe. In one universe, it exists hand in hand with other laws. In others, there is no such thing as the laws of caldury. This universe is that kind of universe.", he further explained.
"In caldiur-less universes, I'm restricted to two incantations. 'Universal Travel', which allows me to jump between universes, and 'Hasten', which speeds up any active incantation, though you can imagine that it's pretty useless in these universes.", he explained. Whatever the case, it seems like Dwan's been working hard in figuring out caldury.
"I see. So in layman terms you know how to utilize a type of magic or what?" Said Lion, curious despite still being confused.
"I guess you could say that. In my ancestral universe, caldiur exists. My genetic caldiur doesn't really inhibit me from learning more incantations in caldic universes, so you can't really say it is a type of caldiur.", he explained.
"Now that you know about the truth, the truth behind me, has your opinion of me changed?", he asked in a melancholic tone.
Lion sat quietly for a few minutes, trying to grasp what Dwan had just told him.
Suddenly he looked at Dwan. "It has not, friend."
"While I'm still trying to grasp the details of what you just told me, I understand that you can use magic- caldiur- which is certainly strange although it wouldn't be the first time I've encountered something strange.
I promise to keep this a secret for as long as you want me to, I'll take it with me to the grave if I have to." Said Lion in a serious tone.
"Travelling between universes sounds amazing, is it difficult to do?" He asked.
Dwan was glad that Lion's opinion of him hasn't changed. "Well, once one has the basics down, it's simple. The hard part is trying to figure out your destination.", he tells him. "You have to options when traveling, in my case. First, you can do it random, leading you to end up in any universe you haven't been to. Second, if you do know of a universe and its location, then you can travel to that universe and end up at said location.", he explained.
He stood up. "Like for example, as I'm aware of the spacial surroundings of this area, I can leave this universe, go to another universe I'm familiar with, and return to this universe exactly where I left.", he explained further, hoping the example helped.
"Oh, so you can pretty much travel based on memory then? What if you were to leave this universe from this exact position and then return? Would your return be restricted to this location alone or could you end up in a another location?"
"I'm not restricted. Returning to the location where I left is just how I usually do it. If I wanted to say, return to the ship and get myself a drink, I could do so because I'm aware of my surroundings.", Dwan tells him. "Really, people end up noticing such inconsistencies in location after a while, which is why I just return to my previous location.", he explains.
"Ah, I see." He stared at the lake. "You ever miss home?"
"Not really. My home is a realm created by my mother. Realms are like, mini-universes that exist between regular universes, incapable of creating its own life.", Dwan stated. "My mother always had us sightseeing, making us explore many universes. She wanted me to be open-minded, acceptant, etc.", he tells him. "Then, ten years ago, she decided to kick me out. Father and her wanted me to become independent, so mother gave me a custom made tome that only allows me to use certain incantations, unlocking more as I grow in power, experience and knowledge.", he says.
"I haven't been to that realm nor have I seen or heard of my parents since. But she's watching me, I know it.", he tells Lion. "I can always call her. People with the same genetic caldiur have the passive ability to use their caldic body parts as communication devices. I could just ring her up with my hand if I wanted to.", he reveals.
"That sounds amazing." Said Lion as he cleaned his rifle next to the fire. "In any case, I'm glad you're with us Dwan."
He nodded towards the cave. "If you want some sleep I prepared some bunks inside the cave."
"I'll stay awake for just a little more, Dey- I mean, Lion.", Dwan says, fumbling up his words. "I just want to watch the stars a bit more before I get some shuteye.", he tells him.
"As you wish." Lion continued to clean his weapons, having finished the rifle he moved on to the Lionclaws.

((I waited a day to see if anyone would pick up on the significance of this post before I asked Damian whether he understood what was going on here. This is the biggest reveal I've pulled in the RP so far, but it turns out that I was way too subtle with the plotline and hints which led up to it so I'm going to have to explain it. I respect Damian a lot and I'm assuming that if he didn't see the connections then the rest of you probably didn't catch it either.

I specifically avoided mentioning anything which would immediately identify them as kanads until now. This means that the Archius is being tailed by the Collective, and this encounter at the hotel is the point at which they've actually found us.
Here are some of the hints I put out along the way:
*State Security dialogue was placed in brackets, denoting that they weren't speaking English, and bases which were closer to earth were mentioned as being the most remote offices of the organization.
*The kanads have been repeatedly mentioned as being anti-capitalist. In first mention of State Security, they seem most concerned with the fact that "major private interests" are gaining strength on Rigel.

[Amazing...]
[All of that just flew right above my head. Honest apologies for not noticing.]
As Lion went to clean his weapons, Dwan just laid on his back, looking at the stars. Seeing the vastness of space, the near-infinite size of a single universe and the almost completely infinite size of the multiverse. So much to do, so much to see, but not so much time for it. As Dwan pondered about the stars, he reminds himself to the fumble he did, calling Lion "Dey". He places his hands on his face, groaning as he can't believe he had done that. He sits up with his right hand still on his face. He decides that maybe it was time to rest. He gets up, stretches a little and tells Lion that he's going to sleep now.
He entered the cave, seeing the bunks. He gets in one and falls asleep.
[I will use my status as a college student as an excuse to why I didn't notice the connection sooner.:v:]
After a couple of hours of travel Varn reached the Archius. He carried the Omega Brother to the holding cell's in the brig. "Don't worry, the crew will treat you better than me. Start making trouble though and I'll shoot you out the air-lock." he turned to the guards stationed there. "Tell Joseph that there is a patient waiting for him here and tell Otso to not bother with making the food taste good for him." The Omega just sat there staring into the floor.
Varn could't return to outside just yet. There was something he needed to confirm first. He went to the room he used as an office during his time as head of security. He opened up a secure channel. There was a message asking for a password. "Wealth and fortune." After a few seconds Varn got through to his superiors back home. Or just one of them this time-Seth.
"Varn? What do you want?"
"Hello Seth. Congratulations on the promotion. I'm sure Hunter would be proud. Listen, this isn't a social call. I need your help."
"Varn, you know I can't help you because of the exile. Even if I wanted to."
"Just tell me one thing. What's Bromun's status?"
"Well, after I got my position, he left. He said that this whole thing was a mistake and that Father had finally lost his mind. You knew how he was. He took a handfull of loyalists with him and 10% of our reserves. Why? Did he get in contact with you, by any chance?"
"No, but looks like he's hiring others to do his dirty work for him. An Omega spilled his guts about making a deal with him."
"I see what he's doing. He's bypassing the code so he would get to me."
"You?"
"Yes me. You beeing on board the HarkArk vessel? That was me. I made the plan to have you there. Strengthen our relationships with HarkArk, you get to be the one to do it and you get to come home. Now if he gets his hands on that ship, you will probably die, HarkArk will blacklist us, I will loose my position and he will probably come back and put himself or one of his puppets as leader."
"So along with everything else, now we have to worry about him. Thanks Seth. See you around." Varn turned off the channel before Seth could respond. He went down to the hangar, he lid a cigar and stared into the night sky. Things were looking calm, at least tonight.
(I will use the excuse that I already knew. Also the fact that I have been skimming through posts to get the general idea.)
[Unfortunately I can't post large stuff until we completely switch to another Internet provider until Monday maybe. Pm me if you need to speak about stuff. ]
Andron kicked the cage again, the tomato nodded and screamed out through the room. Andron had a feeling someone would come out and reply.
(Why the hell would he come out and reply lol.)
A waiter set an expensive cocktail down in front of Gataska, one made with real skolka and a slice of fresh montu fruit from Koda on a toothpick. Montu fruit was expensive, and it was basically Yanim's favorite thing, but she said nothing of it to prevent Arkadam from having the opportunity to buy her something. It was an annoying position to be in. Yanim could the slightest hint of a blush in the edge of Gataska's goggles and was annoyed that she was so quickly charmed by that arrogant womanizer.
She was even more annoyed with herself, because she had somehow been convinced to join the two of them at a table. Yanim's dish arrived, a plate of heavily salted salmon imported from Terra, which the waiter had sworn up and down was a quality substitute for the kanad grytik fish which were "regretfully" out of stock due to difficulties with UGC trade regulations blah, blah blah...
She wasn't sure whether the company of these two offworlders was helping her night. The shock of the recent shootout still hadn't left her, and her hand itched for the reassuring power granted by the weight of her rifle. However, she was conflicted, as her conscience was begging her let go of the ill feelings which were gripping her- she had even convinced herself to leave her rifle locked in her ATD, and so she was unarmed for the first time since leaving the ship.
Time was ticking toward the moment she would have to leave Duroma, and she didn't want to dwell on the hard times which were doubtlessly ahead, and doubtlessly similar to those which had transpired that day.
"[So, Yanim,]" Arkadam said, "[becoming a ship's chief engineer is quite the accomplishment at your age. You must have had quite a time with that crew.]"
Yanim drummed her fingers on the table, not particularly inclined to indulge him with any unnecessary details about her life on the Archius. "[We have our share of struggles,]" she replied, distantly. "[I do what I can to help.]"
"[Oh, I'm sure,]" said Arkadam with the sort of saccharine faux-sincerity Yanim was used to receiving from Arthur. "[I can't imagine how difficult it must be to work for humans. I've done it before- their technology is faulty, their leadership is irrational... they've really caused a lot of damage to this region of space.]"
Yanim tried to ignore his comment. It was the same rhetoric she had been bombarded with at the State Navel College. She had to admit, however, that just because she had grown close to the humans of her ship didn't mean that all humans were worthwhile. Harkark was a very open-minded employer, and so her crew was quite diverse. Other human factions were much less progressive and more destructive, like the Divinity Creed. Would things on Duroma have turned out better without them?
She reminded herself that it wasn't her place to judge. Gataska, however, agreed wholeheartedly.
"[When I lost my arm,]" she said with a sad but sweet smile, "[my captain wanted to order a prosthetic from NewGen, custom fit. He was a draconian. He knew that keeping his crewmembers effective would be worth his money. Unfortunately, our operation was bought out by human speculators just a few days before we went bug hunting, and their policy was to keep costs at the absolute minimum. They bought this arm secondhand,]" she explained with visible distress, "[and when they found out I couldn't do my job properly anymore...]"
"[Hey now...]" Arkadam spoke softly, putting his arm around her. "[Things go wrong once in a while, but there's always time to get back to the ones who care about you.]"
Yanim felt even colder across the table from the two, feeling pangs of jealousy not for Arkadam's advances but rather his reassurances. She wanted to describe the awful things she had taken part in and witnessed in the preceding weeks, but worried that if she started, she wouldn't be able to stop.
A chime could be heard from Arkadam's pocket. He sighed, "[please excuse me, ladies, this is probably important if they're calling this time of night.]" As soon as he had left the table, Gataska dramatically rolled her eyes and sneered, catching Yanim off guard.
"[What, you think I'm falling for that shitbag?]" she suddenly asked in a hushed voice. "[He's buying me drinks, I'm not going to stop him.]"
Yanim stifled a sneer herself, welcoming relief from the seriousness of the previous conversation. "[Gataska, are you going to eat that montu fruit? I don't mean to be greedy, but they're my favorite. Can I have it?]"
"[Sure,]" she answered, handing over the toothpick.
"Thank you," Yanim said in English. She savored the sweet flavor, rolling it around on her tongue for a while. Gataska was mildly disturbed.
