"Varn, the security room is next door. I suggest you go meet your colleague before picking out your bunk to sleep in."
"Yes sir."
Varn noticed Yanin's expression and noted he missed something important. He turned to Dwan and shook his hand, but was in a hurry to catch up on things so he couldn't talk.
"If you don't mind, well catch up later."
He put the shotgun and pistol back on the weapon rack and went to the security room. Once there he, saw the few guards who were off-duty and talked with them about the events on the ship. "Sounds like I missed a party."
After picking a bunk he proceeded to read up on important personnel on the ship and his patrol routes
First stop Science lab.
The Head Pirate sighed in frustration, his boss was dead and the pirate ship left him behind. He spotted the orb. "I already told you we were only ordered to get the orb and then kill all you people! What more do you want from me man? A description of that ball shit going haywire when I picked it up a few seconds later, seeing some vision that looked like a ghost just went up and smacked me in the face?!"
"I believe you. Right, I will let you go, even with a healed crotch, tho you will be stuck here for a bit longer since we are a bit off course. I'll drop you off at Termina Central. The only thing that will be missing is your memory, everything up to the point of arrival at Termina Central, that is right we will wipe your memory twice, will be erased. But besides that, you will still remember that you are a Pirate, and you won't remember anything about us." Jeremy said.
Jeremy then walked over to the intercom.
"Arthur, I want you to patch up the Head Pirate, erase every memory relating to us and clone him. We are going to let him go when we get to Termina central, so you will be erasing his mind twice, unless he decides to join us, come up here and get him. I am going to wait till this other one wakes up." Jeremy said.
He then walked back over to the head captain.
"Look, I am sorry for what has happened, and if it went another way where you guys just left us and not take anything, then that option would be the one I would take instead of this." Jeremy said.
"DoomEval, I want you to run a scan on this orb." Jeremy instructed.
"Very well, the scan will take a while. I will let you know once it is done."
"Very good." Jeremy said.
"I better head down to the medical bay." Jeremy thought to himself.
He then walked his way to the elevator and went down to the Medical bay where he lied down on a table waiting for Joseph..or anyone to fix his wound.
"Can do, captain. I'll have someone bring the man down soon.
And captain... I've finished my work. Could you take a quick detour down to the science lab? I have something I'd like to discuss with you, and something to show you."
*Bleep*
Jeremy raised his Arm to speak to Arthur through his Arm Communicator.

"Okay Arthur, I'll be there in a second." Jeremy said.
He then lowered his Arm down and got up, he then walked over to the Science Lab.
"This better be good, maybe you learnt how to fix my head?" Jeremy asked jokingly.
Lion nodded to Yanim before he started analyzing both her and Dwans weapons. While checking the weapons for any physical errors his eyes scanned the entire weapons. After that he ran some diagnostics before touching up the weapons, making them look near-factory new.
When done, he packed down the guns into two separate weapon cases marked with Dwans and Yanims names.
After that he started going through the combat footage, analyzing the behaviour and tactics of his fellow crewmates. Lion then started designing weapons for his new family.
"Trust me captain, this is more than good."
With a smile, Arthur walked over to a table covered in cloth and pulled it away to reveal what had been hidden under it; Bruta, alive and reborn... and drooling from the mouth.
"He's a masterpiece! This took me a good few hours, especially due to the fact that I've only worked with his species once or twice before, but I pulled it off. You'll find that he's quite conscious, and also quite placid. I've wiped his memory of this encounter clean, and for the next day or two, he should be rather clueless to where he is. After that... I may require a ball gag."
Arthur moved in close to the captain.
"I also have two things to discuss with you. Firstly, I believe that we should turn this bastard in and get a reward for him. I'm sure the bounty on this guy will be big enough to hire a proper crew. Secondly, in recognition of my action in saving this ship, I would like to request that my position of head scientist be made permanent. I can more than handle the duties I have now, and I believe that this ship would be all the better to have a strategic mind such as mine as senior member.
Thoughts?"
"Captain, perhaps it's time we visit Rigel for new employees, there is one crew member who has registered as an Engineer of Archius currently located there." The AI said.

"I will think about both of your options...except the ball gag. Just a couple of questions, why is he drooling? Can you fix my head wound and with cloning, do you think you can make it so the other person does not get any injury side effect like me? Since if we clone this guy, and we release him, someone might try to beat him up and we will end up with a dead clone." Jeremy asked.
The engine room was a wide space with thick pillars throughout, each containing the circulating coolant ducts for a portion of the intricately-designed fusion reactor. Up and down their surfaces were innumerable steel tracks for the service robots to trundle up and down, and trusses across the ceilings to transfer them in and out of engineering. Below and between these pillars were trenches which cross-crossed the cylindrical mass of the shielded reactor core. To get to the heart of the machine, one would need to open and crawl through a set of airtight hatches located periodically around the core's perimeter.
Yanim had been trained on larger engines in a virtual environment, such as the monstrous TA-144 6-core reactor, designed for capital ships, but of the ships she had served on thus far, the Archius was the largest. She briefly took in the scenery before continuing across the catwalk to the control platforms in the rear. Holding her thumb up to the biometric scanner on one of the secondary consoles, the computer recognized her and requested verbal confirmation.
"Register: Y. Sidikan"
The computer granted access to the console and she sat down, immediately ordering the system to display all figures and information in kanad, a change which could be reversed any time another crew member signed into the same console. The screens filled with tables of information on the condition of each chamber of the reactor core, as well as ideal levels specified by the manufacturer and what little change notes Kr had made during the first day of flight. Donning a headset, Yanim checked that the crew could hear her.
As of now, she was akin to Kr's secretary.
"Captain, perhaps it's time we visit Rigel for new employees, there is one crew member who has registered as an Engineer of Archius currently located there." The AI said.
"Engineer of Archius? Ah, Iska Volgrim, AI, tell the pilots to set course to Rigel, and don't forget to update me on the orb scanning" Jeremy instructed.
The strange glowing orb took a decent amount of time for the AI to work with. Knowing this, the ship began to set course for Rigel. The process was done and the case opened with light smoke spawning. "The orb's properties are of unknown identities that are not proportional to the laws of physics. Ideally this object processes a vast amount of unknown power source that can channel through theoretic means of the fourth dimension."
"In a more lighter perspective: this orb could be the internal source of the Oracle."

"Wait...you are telling me....THE ORB IS A PART THE ORACLE?" Jeremy asked with shock.
"But...how? Why is a part of the Oracle on this ship?" Jeremy wondered.
"Tell me, can you scan the Orb to locate the other parts? Jeremy asked.
"This brute is drooling because I just wiped his memory of current events clean. An average human brain is not accustomed to such an action without experiencing some side effects, the same clearly goes for this species. So, for the next couple of days, he's going to be drooling, doe-eyed, and eating through a tube. After that, he'll be properly conscious and probably angry, which is why a ball gag is recommended. Don't forget the fact that he was dead not 6 hours ago. Because of this, he will be a lot dumber than usual, though still very angry. An almost perfect test subject, and a perfect prisoner. Considering this, I'd like to release his original into Rigel custody, get the bounty ASAP and get out once our business is done. I'll keep any clones I make of him."
Arthur scratched his chin.
"Your head wound is the result of a sort of symbiotic relationship with your clone. When he dies, you will sustain damage yourself. The reason you're still standing and conscious is because while it has a nasty aesthetic affect on you, it doesn't effect your psyche. This cannot be changed, I'm sorry. However, with some use of stem cells and plastic surgery, you'll be good as new in no time. Shall I start work on that now, captain?"
"How long will it take?" Jeremy asked.
"Also, mad about what?...I guess being taken." Jeremy wondered.
"With the course of it's state, Yes. My knowledge of the Oracle is rather bare bones despite the fact that Harkark, my makers, wishes to study it. The orb was stored here for good measure by Chairman Harken Saw for reasons I cannot verify." The AI twitches in confusion towards Captain Jeremy's final question. "Despite the vast amount of power source stored within the orb, there isn't enough power to channel in order to signal the rest of the pieces. In other aspects, it is impossible for me to scan this object in order to find the others. I believe you would have to travel to Termina Central to find out more."
"Very well, thank you AI." Jeremy said.
"From start to finish? About 6 hours. I'll take some cells from other parts of your body to begin the regeneration process, then knock you out and hand you over to Joseph for the plastic surgery. I'm sure your hotheaded engineer friend can manage the ship well enough until then."
After he dropped off his weaponry at the armory, Dwan decides to explore the ship a bit more.
Going downstairs, he heads right to the Archives. A beautiful area with knowledge at every corner. Dwan will probably come here a lot. He visited the Zoo Chambers to see it empty. Disappointed, he goes two levels up and visits the Gym. Quite a bit of gear to allow one to exercise. If Dwan becomes sluggish, he'll definitely come here. He goes through the now pirateless Market and Storage, seeing quite a few products being sold at the Market. At this point, Dwan has explored the parts of the ship he'll visit the most, as he doubts he'll ever be at the Engine Room or the Brig.
As enough time has passed, Dwan returns to the armory to get his weaponry.
"I guess....Times like these I wish I had a clone." Jeremy said.
He then looked at Arthur and saw a giant Grin.
"Don't get any idea's while I am out." Jeremy said.
He then put his arm up and sent a voice mail to Kr.
"I am going under Surgery for 6 hours, until I am up, you are in charge of the ship, right now we are heading towards Rigel to get another crew member, and to get some more staff for you and some other things, then after that we are heading to Termina Central. I highly doubt I will be asleep for that long but if I am, you know what is going on....Don't try and contact me, I am going under Surgery right now....If you need help, contact the AI." Jeremy said.
He stopped the Voice Mail and switched to Announcements.
"Just an update, we are heading to Rigel, Kr is going to be your captain for around 6 hours as I am going under Surgery for my head wound, I will be fine so don't worry about me. I'll catch you guys in a few" Jeremy said.
He lowered his arm and lied down on a table.
"Alright Arthur, put me under." Jeremy said.
"To be fair... you did have a clone. That's why I'm going to be poking around inside of you for the next few hours. Haha!"
Arthur laughed heartily, as Jeremy slowly passed out.
Varn made his way down to the science lab after getting a tranc pistol and a stun baton for his patrol. He figured that most pirates were either dead or in a holding cell so there was no need for heavy fire-power.
Once down there, he saw Dr.Beasley and the captain conversing over the body of a big alien.
"Must be one of the pirates."-he thought-"Ill talk with the captain after they're done, in the mean time better do a security sweep around the labs."
To him the labs looked like the ones back at base, well without the blood and spilled chemicals on every 3 or so table. Most of them were clean and ready to use if any of the egghead needed them. He didn't check Dr. Beasley's personal lab since he needed higher clearance for it. Then he waited for the captain to finish his conversation.
Or better yet he would continue with his patrol, up to the upper levels from the gymnasium to engineering and the engine room.
Kr'fernir finishes his inspection of the Tritium-refeeders and feels rather refreshed due to radiation released during the inspection. He makes sure that he won't give anybody cancer during any soon-to-be-had conversations and ambulates over to the main work stations where he finds his new engineer.
"Greetings Yanim, I trust all things are in order under your expert care. I've been up since this crate left dock, so I'm going to go to my quarters and sleep now. Call me over intercom if you need me. Any questions before I go?"
Random Roll:[9] In celebration of scaring the pirates away from the ship, the master chef has decided to make all special lunches free for the entire day! Come get your Fredmunchies and Mundie pizza cuisine right here at the Mess Hall, perfectly made by Chef Otso Rottal!

"Whoa, free food. Well the patrol can wait."
Varn makes his way to the mess hall.
Dwan, greeting Lion, grabbed the weapon case with his name on it and left the armory. As he enters the elevator, he hears of the news that the master chef is making special lunches free for the day.
Interested, he heads to the Mess Hall to get some chow.
Yanim smiles at Kr. "All systems report normal levels. I will update if engine is problem," she replies, tapping at her headset.
With the Pirates Gone Otso begins preparing a tremendous lunch consisting of PB&Js with Blue Milk, along with fresh baked Chocolate Chip cookies, piping hot from the oven. Along with this was Fredmunchies and Mundie pizza cuisine. He thought it'd be a good idea to surprise the crew with some soul food as well
"Come and Get it" Otso shouted to the rest of the crew, awaiting for them to come chow down
Jingles also made an appearance deciding to sit directly next to the food, giving the stink eye to any who passes
Dwan arrives at the Mess Hall, seeing the food at display. He grabs a tray and one of each available food, as to try everything out and see what he likes and doesn't like.
He sits down next to someone, not knowing it was the Master Chef himself. Dwan begins eating as Otso watches.

Osto smiles at the Stout man, well what would be a smile if he didn't have a trunk. "I hope you like the food friend, its made with lots of love ".
Varn, not wanting to insult the chef, decided to get one of everything, even if holding his tray became a balancing act. Once he got to a table he removed the jaw protector of his helmet revealing that his mouth was human-like. For some reason his bosses gave instructions for each member to keep the mystery surrounding the mercenaries alive. Didn't matter to the crew though, most of them were busy eating good food.
The food was great, like eating at a 5 star restaurant exept the small portions. He saw the orthalon with the chef hat and guessed that he was the chef. Him saying
"I hope you like the food friend, its made with lots of love ".
Varn tried to yell "This food is great!" in othanese, but couldn't guess if he did it correctly.
