Lion's improvements gave Varn an idea. He looked over to the Nomad and started digging through the schematics. He found those he marked down as useful and started working on the modifications. He turned on the radio to listen while he worked and Black Sabbath's 'Iron man' started playing. He felt that the universe was talking to him and it told him to forge a war machine.
While sitting in the cockpit, Lion opened up a direct channel to Jeremy. "Roughrider is good to go, sir. Just give me the coordinates for when we reach Termina Central and we'll get back Viper in notime."
While waiting for Jeremy to respond, Lion had sent a message to the crew that should they participate in the upcoming mission the requirement to wear KUAS was mandatory.
After all, Lion didn't make all of those high-tech armor sets just for them to be wall decorations.

"Good, let me check on some important files." Jeremy spoke through, eying some files onto his holo screen in front of his command seat. He quickly closed the screen and jogged to the armory. Lion allowed access to the lockers stashing the combat armors in place. He opened his designated locker and grabbed the assigned helmet reading Spacehawk.
He fancied the headgear and placed it on top of his head, activating the HUD. He pulled out the rest and clicked it in as he grabbed his Hawk. He did a check for any malfunctions, ensuring this gun could operate. He snapped all three types of ammo onto his pouches, nodding to himself.
...
"Alright, sitting like ducks. Nothing much to show." The soldier said looking through his binoculars. Another soldier carried a military crate along with a holopad, placing the crate on the ground. He laid the holopad on top and checked for any signals.
"So this is what babysitting feels like." The soldier sighed to himself and waited for the next hour under the overwhelming climate. The Agent watched from the far distance. "Any reports?" The Agent asked.
"Negative, we saw their bikes into the hangar so the chances of leaving are highly likely." The soldier answer, adjusting the view. "We should at least know we're watching them." The soldier suggested which Agent caught.
"A reasonable suggestion, but I might have to contact Mr. Saw for the approval." The Agent said. The soldier unfortunately what couldn't be any more badder through those binoculars. Medium sized APCs and quite possibly gunships he was seeing from a far meter.
"Shit we got incoming contact from the east!" The soldier quickly threw his tool on the sand, he was blocked by the Agent, grabbing the binoculars and seeing what was the commotion. For a second the Agent dropped them. "We'll ready the fire support when they're close enough. Right now, be on stand by." The Agent told him.
"What?! They're going to swarm them! We need to alert them." The soldier pointed out into the desert. Left stoic, the Agent watched the far silhouettes.
"Keep it together, alerting them will expose us from hostiles." The soldier calmed himself, nodding.

After all these years this would be considered payback, a vengeance going on for all long, so much hate left Bromun in a scorn look. His eyes laid towards a personal profile on Varn Merner. He tilted his head while holding his helmet beside him along with a few Loyalists sitting. The intercom went through wireless and he could already hear the annoying voice. "Kreas, just so you know, Varn is all mine for the taking. I'm sure his death will repay me for those millions of credits he owes me." Bromun shook his head and attempted to keep himself in check. Regardless whether or not Sasha's was Varn's ex-lover he swore he would kill Varn personally. "No chance. Your sisters won't be getting near him. I'm offering you a ton just to attack the Archius." Bromun said.
His Loyalists checked their assault rifles and shotguns. Swarming the ship unexpectedly would at least give them an advantage with all these men in hand. "No promises, I doubt you'll have the balls to kill him. Do you even have balls?" She chuckled through. Bromun immediately shot the intercom using his laser magnum, clenching his hand. "Listen to me brothers, the path of retribution will be laid by our own initiative. No matter the situation, this will serve as a turning point for a new chapter. Father may not realize our potential, but I certainly do. Stick with me to the end and I'll lead our way into victory. As brothers, we are one, and together we shall reign supreme."
"HOO RAH!" The Loyalists chanted, preparing for the assault just as the other merc groups drove in formation between each other.
[I just want you guys to know that I'll be traveling to the Czech Republic by car in the midmorning. I'll be gone for the entire day, so, have fun with this entire sequence.]
Lion was looking at the security feed when dozens of cameras pinged an event of interest. Lion was at a loss of words.
He went into the ships' system directory and enabled the security protocol. Suddenly several hundred red lights turned around the ship as the alarm sound came to life. Lion began starting up the engines of Roughrider while connecting to the PA-system. "Attention, enemy assault imminent! I repeat, enemy assault imminent! This is not a drill!"
Roughrider took off and went straight for the enemy forces.
Iska had applied volgrim battlepaint to her face, three red vertical lines on her face.
She had also sent her confession to Bubal, now was as good a time as any. She sighed with a smile.
Went the alarm came she rushed down to the armory and picked up her armor and the LWA-I, disregarding the helmet for the eye piece that Lion had given her.
Iska sprinted into the hangar and managed to just jump onto the Roughrider.
As it flew a way, Iska was hanging onto the back panel, but managed to open the back door manually.
She stowed her Gun under on of the seats and readied the heavy machinegun that was mounted on the back ramp.
She then made a quick detour to the cockpit. She tapped Lion on the shoulder, "Lion think he can have all fun to himself no?" she said with a big grin.
She returned to the turret and readied herself.
Lion chuckled. "I was hoping someone would show up!" He flipped some switches to disengage the safety for the rear gun. "3000 rounds, make each one count!" He yelled to Iska.
He then opened up a channel to Varn and Jeremy. "Cap! Varn! I'm moving to engage the enemy, Iska is here with me! I need one of you to go to the security room and enable both the interior and exterior sentryguns, over."
The armor was done. The new modifications to the the Nomad, had made it a valuable tool on the battlefield. The tazzer was replaced with a power gauntlet and the other hand had a build in blade that could be extended and retracted. The helmet was outfitted with night and thermal vision and a satellite uplink. There was a beep on his communicator.
"Speak."
"Hi honey."
"How did you get this frequency?"
"Doesn't matter. What matters is that I'll be seeing you shortly."
That's when the alarms went off. Varn put on his armor.
"Cap! Varn! I'm moving to engage the enemy, Iska is here with me! I need one of you to go to the security room and enable both the interior a d exterior sentryguns, over."
"I'm on it. Just be careful out there."
"Always." Said Lion as he began spinning up the nosegun. The dropship steadily approached the group of enemy vehicles and aircraft.
He fired away several salvos of kinetic rounds towards the closest group of aircraft.

Mini Roll[2]:
"WHAT?! Lion you can't just charge in-ARGH!" Jeremy lashed out but didn't had time, he activated DomeEval and gritted his teeth. "Initiate Sentry Interior-Exterior Act!"
"Of course, commencing." Jeremy went straight to the hangar bay. [I'm gonna wait until more people type in actions then I'll post the batch of rolls. I don't want to rush shit. Besides I'm gonna take a nap.]
...
Bromun easily spotted the confident dropship flying towards their assault brigade from the APC's window. If anything he stared straight at him unfazed at this sight. He raised his finger towards his ear and called in someone that were meant to hunt down bait. "Cobra- A dropship is coming from the north, I need the Kabelas on their positions right now."
"On it, in case this shit doesn't work then Alpha Sisters will lead their attack. We'll launch a full fledged counter." Cobra went in.
"Make it quick, The other side on the west front will be closing in to that ship once I give the order." Bromun stated, closing the radio. He narrowed his eyes as the Kabelas should be ready by now.
The Kabela forces signaled all to stand and prepared the volley from this distance, this was the perfect spot to aim at. One of the boys set up a large weapon stand near one of the APCs. The dropship launched a dozen salvos on their groups of gunships.
"Hey assfucks now's the damn time!" One Kabela member shouted, one of them hurrying the process of loading the machine gun to the stand. He plugged the electrical battery into the gun, loading it up to aim close. The rapid launch of a few coils made the merc smile as it instantly crashed with the dropship coming to speed, only to slow down as its internal electronics were glitching out.
All systems deactivated and the dropship was descending from the air.
"Kreas, we got the dropship. Send our boys to get the ship." Cobra said through a radio.
"On it." Kreas said. "This is Bromun, west side get to that ship and use all necessary force."
Sister Sasha was pleased to hear about this. Her Alpha Sisters along with the Omega Brothers sought the ship. While their hatred to each other was long lived they decided to call truce until this mission was over. They were getting paid after all and they couldn't resist a quick buck.
Jeremy started the Lynx up as one of the members like John Riker guarded for any hostile within the area. "John we should probably stay on the defense, the assault hostiles won't be holding back." Jeremy said as he turned. John Riker nodded to the Captain. "Cap, I'm waiting to fight I don't want to disappoint anyone." He gave a smirk. The ramp was already opened for the taking as John Riker stepped out of the ship, checking the current area for enemies on sight.
Jeremy packed up the heavy ammunition for the turrets. He noticed John stepped out and unholstered his Hawk rifle. Jeremy watched him behind. "Hows it going?!" He shouted.
John turned from afar. Nearly opening his mouth until sudden flames engulfed the cyborg. The everlasting effect was devastating at worst. An explosion erupted from Jeremy's view, eyes widened at the sight he'd just seen. "SON OF A- Fuck!" Jeremy hurried to the ship and immediately shut the ramp. He quickly released a breath load and saw the disturbing scene imprint in his mind. He clenched his hand and rage overwhelmed him.
Roughrider was gliding through the air. "Fuck, losing altitude!" He yelled. "Iska, you need to strap yourself to one of the chairs now!"
The ship glided past the assault force and began flying towards a set of dunes. "Hold on!"
Roughrider hit the sand but continued to move forward for a bit untill it had dug itself into the sand.
Lion pulled the manual reboot lever before unstrapping himself, he went to check on Iska.
The turrets were starting us so Varn picked up the Boombox and his handgun and went down to the hangar. The assault had already begun, now it was just a matter if they could hold them off. A few Omegas were already trying to get in, so he shot at them.
"Iska, are you okay?" Said Lion as he entered the rear compartment.
Iska had taken a few hits as she had been thrown around in the seat, but she had now unbuckled herself and gave Lion a thumbs up. She walked over to the Turret and began dismounting it so she could carry it around.
"We behind enemy now, yes?" she gave Lion a quick look. "We can attack from back."
The alarms woke Yanim up- her room was bathed in a reddish light which told her of the attack outside. Although she was exhausted and nauseous, the unknown threat gave her a surge of adrenaline (or the kanad equivalent thereof) which urged her onto her feet. The drone she had sent out earlier was waiting in the hall outside of her quarters thanks to Iska, and so as she quickly made her way to the lift, it gave a summarized version of events from the meeting. She was at least aware of the scope of threats currently arrayed against the crew.
In the armory, she retrieved her stowed Knight system along with the specially-interlocking helmet she created for herself, as well as Valkyrie. As she strapped on an extra pouch with a set of grenades, she ran an automatic security diagnostic of the Archius in order to confirm that, at that moment, they had not been boarded, but that could change at any second. With Skada close by, she went back through the lift to the top of the ship, where she then used her override to open a drone repair tunnel which was connected to the surface of the ship. Normally, these tunnels would only be operated by computer to prevent accidental depressurization, but since they were on Duroma it would be safe.
Climbing out of the tight hatch, Yanim found herself on the back of the Archius, giving her a near bird's-eye view of the situation. In response to chatter that the Roughrider had been downed, she immediately pointed herself toward the tail of the ship where she could see in the direction it had flown. Through the YSV, she could see the mercenaries. It would be difficult to hit at this range, but even more so for the mercs aiming back at her. With the same confidence she held against the gang the previous night, she picked her target: a group of the Kabelas were gathered around a pulse machine gun, trying to fix some sort of failure with the electrical system.
Yanim squeezed off her first few rounds in an effort to stop them.
((Class is about to start, back in about an hour and a half unfortunately.))
Lion nodded. "Good idea, Roughrider's system will reboot and re-enable all systems in 30 minutes."
He rushed out of the ship and pointed towards the dune between them and the enemy forces.
"We both have heavy weaponry, it would be easy to use the dune for cover." Said Lion as he deployed his LWA Last Stand LMG.
"You ready to kick some ass?"

[Back so you might be noticing that enemies will interact more through text, gives them more flavor. I'm also increasing the quality given the chance.]
Mini Roll Critical Success![10]: The Boombox was a trusty tool against enemies, it fought through Bugs, Creed fellas and Bikers this should obviously work on mercs. The turrets went online and immediately fired away, keeping the Omega Brothers from their range until One of the Alpha Sisters fired a rocket launchers from far knocking the turrets out of commission.
There were at least four Brothers in the hangar bay as they forced themselves in. Jeremy got to cover while Varn aimed directly at one of them. Varn shot through a merc's knee and turned to the next one, this time penetrating the head. Two fired back in response and the Marine needed to find other way to flank them. The captain can provide cover fire, he could start off there. Varn sneaked into using the vehicles to avoid getting exposed. The two Brothers switched position and threw a grenade at Jeremy. Getting two shots, Varn closed in and aimed for the kill. Shooting both to death.

Mini Roll[6]: Yanim tightened her grip on her weapon, saving Lion and Iska was a major priority. She looked through and thought of the advantages and disadvantages of giving away her position but there was no time she pulled the trigger as her rounds came through. The few rounds weren't close enough to give a penetration but somewhere, a clang heard. This presumed this was the pulse machine, while it wasn't her intention she could take any opportunity than none at all.
The oncoming gunships however were not happy to see her on this field.

The Kabelas and Kreas's Loyalists proceeded to move on the dropship's disabled state. A ton of troops were mobilzing onto the field while a large slow vehicle moved closer, immediately launching a full shell towards the dropship, moderately damaging it. The Kabelas released their dogs to catch the prey. They followed after the dogs.
"After 10 years you knuckleheads haven't learned a damn thing!" Varn yelled at the Omegas, trying to get their attention. They started firing, giving away their position, he chucked a grenade at them.
Iska looked at Lion, "Lion is brain, Iska is muscle. Lead".
[Gonna be on a roadtrip so I'll make inputs when I have time. Feel free to use her in the meantime]
"Alright, let's go then!" Yelled Lion, a few moments later several projectiles hit the already damaged dropship.
The armor was holding but Lion didn't want to wait around and see how much punishment the ship would be able to take untill it would explode.
Just as he was about to target some gunships, Lion spotted several kinds of alien dogs rushing across the dune. "Eliminate those targets!"
Lion fired away several hundred kinetic shots towards the dogs while Iska began surpressing the enemy gunships.
Yanim sucked air in through her teeth, knowing she had failed to hit her target. There were several reasons why it hadn't worked, but one of the biggest was that the distance was just too great. Moreover, there were armored vehicles closing in on the ship which her rifle would not be able to damage. Suddenly remembering that Nycho, that annoying new scientist, was handy with a sniper rifle, Yanim ignored her pride. She opened a link on her tablet and sent Nycho a message:
"Nycho, this is Yanim. You may already be aware that the ship is under fucking siege right now," she said as she ducked, a few bullets cracking in the air above her, "and we could use your sniper rifle. I'm on top of the ship- there's an open maintenance duct in the corridor behind the bridge. Get up here if you can."
Something bigger was needed to take out those vehicles, but Yanim didn't know what to use- the hardmounted guns on the ship would be ideal, but they would blow the Archius' cover. The Mercenaries only knew about the crew, and not its mission, whereas if word got out about the ship, enemies like the Crimson Son might arrive in the wake of this attack to cause some havoc of their own.
She opened her comm link to Lion, nearly shouting, "Lion, I'm on top of the ship! If there are any heavy weapons in the armory that can be used to destroy the armored vehicles, I can send a drone to retrieve them. Tell me you have something!"
[Oh boy, big guns...]
[Yo Doom? Roll?]
As Lion laid down fire on the swarm of dogs he heard Yanim over the comms. "Affirmative, head down to my room. Locate a box marked "Cleaning Equipment". Over and out."
[Yeah, let me write that.]
"Yakka, thank you," Yanim replied. She used her tablet to deploy a droid to retrieve the object, whatever it was, and bring it to her position. While she waited, she tried to return fire against the mercs who were shooting at her.
"After 10 years you knuckleheads haven't learned a damn thing!" Varn yelled at the Omegas, trying to get their attention. They started firing, giving away their position, he chucked a grenade at them.
Mini Roll[7]: Varn activated a single grenade into the pit of stupidity as one of the Brothers blindfired, barely noticing the small object that happened to pass by he realized the absurd move and attempted to kick it only to prove time wasn't his partner. The other Brother sneaked up and tried to score a headshot.

Mini Roll[6]: Viper reported the cleaning equipment to Yanim, right now his focus was directly on those alien dogs while Iska carried a large machine gun that might be able to take one of those things down. The alien dogs were huge in comparison to a regular sized Terran Dog, at a height of 6 Ft. This wasn't going to be easy when you're getting swarmed.
Lion dispatched a lot of his rounds towards the Dogs as several Kabelas fired back. There were at least three. The closest dog jumped at Lion only to get knocked back with bullets. He saw the other dog monstrous as ever, Lion meleed the dog to halt his progress, shooting it in the head as he went back to cover. The large enemy vehicle prepared another shot towards the dune. Firing away as several enemies moved forward.
The Dune was partially blown to bits and pieces.
"Yakka, thank you," Yanim replied. She used her tablet to deploy a droid to retrieve the object, whatever it was, and bring it to her position. While she waited, she tried to return fire against the mercs who were shooting at her.
Mini Roll[8]: Yanim did one last attempt of firing at the mercs who closed in on the ship. But it only proved she could still prove her worth, at least incapacitating one Sister while another tried to suppress her. She aimed down and fired at least three shots in the merc's chest until he fell down on the ground.
...
"Kreas, unknown aircraft incoming!" Cobra called him. Bromun pulled the radio to his mouth. "What does it look like?" The false marine asked, walking with a squad of Loyalists around.
"Fighter craft, maybe bomber I don't know."
"I want those gunships to focus on that aircraft. Meanwhile Kabelas will engage with that dropship. I'll go in that ship with my men."
"Got it."
The unknown aircraft flew across the pack of heavily armed vehicles, taking a few pot shots until it made a round turn, firing at a gunship while performing intense maneuvers.
"This is Charlie Ford, Agent intercept that convoy while you have the chance!" He said as he said several gunships on his tail. He gritted his teeth. "Come get this piece of ass you fuckers!"
The Agent was inside an interior along with several operators on key point. "Direct the tank to the convoy, they will be able to defend their area inside the ship." The Agent assured.
A large armored tank appeared for battle, thick armor plating covered the entire hull. The side of the tank was painted with a white skull, below was a statement "Might Makes Right."
"The brothers are getting their asses handed to them, but where are the sisters?" Varn's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone trying to sneak by behind him. "Time to try out the gauntlet." He readied it, turned around and delivered a punch.
Lion looked out from cover and spotted an armored vehicles slowly moving towards the dropship while providing covering fire to swarm of Kabelas.
Lion took out a grenade, hit it's top and threw it at the Kabelas before letting lose another salvo of kinetic fire, hoping to hit the mercenaries as they scattered from the grenade.
Meanwhile Iska let out a warcry and attempted to mow down several mercs attempting to flank.
The drone Yanim sent after Lion's "cleaning equipment" emerged from the hatch with the crate in its grip. Yanim scrambled over while prone and opened the latches, revealing the Class-5 Railgun inside. A few moments of checking it over revealed to her the weapon's configuration, and so she soon had it set up and ready to fire with its quad bipod deployed. She took aim at one of the armored vehicles and pulled the trigger.

Mini Roll Critical Failure[1]: Varn noticed the Omega member trying to sneak up, they had a lot to learn before actually competing. He turned and activated his power gauntlet for full effectiveness, until he felt a sudden push. The intense sudden pain of the shotgun blast pushed him to at least 5 ft. Varn was too slow to deal a punch and the Omega Brother aimed down, one muscle and Varn's head might get blown off.
Jeremy however wasn't going to let anymore of his members dying on him. He readied his hawk carbine and fired, the laser shot sniped the Brother's head like a watermelon, tumbling down to the floor as blood scattered. The rest of the west front were probably outside. A sudden beep came from Jeremy's holoband. "Captain Spacehawk, Harken Saw has sent me to watch over the Archius. I am an Agent operating a tank and I need you to focus on the enemies, not us."
"Who is this? How did you get my contact info?" The frequency ended as Jeremy reloaded another mag into the carbine. "Let's go."

Mini Roll[5]: Lion threw the grenade towards the Kabelas and hoped for the best. One thing that proved their worthiness was to react, one member shot down the lobbing grenade in mid air, exploding without touching the ground. The Kabelas continued their advanced while Iska's mow and show barely did anything to stop members.

Mini Roll Critical Success![9]: This was it the sole Railgun Class 5. The weapon was large enough to weigh down on her body. Caution was necessary at all times and one mistake from her part could break any of her bones or seriously injure her. She took a deep breath and saw through the targeting system.
The trigger was pulled and the heavy recoil even when she was laying down gave her a little push. The glowing laser reacted similar to lightning only that it was much more powerful in terms of firepower. One of the armored vehicles instantly combusted into scrap, doubting the survival of the operators. The blast shook her as well as everyone who was near the effected area. The smokes of fire swarmed the now destroyed armored vehicle from ever operating again.
This weapon had the potential to be a massive powerhouse.
"All members, the Agent in that tank will aid us. Don't attack it!" Jeremy ordered through the communications line.
