[QUOTE=doomevil;48306792]Jeremy walked alone as he went up to the ramp[/QUOTE]
Sledge had taken his eyes off the captain for like, two freaking seconds to look at something in a shop for like fifteen minutes and he was gone. Thankfully Lion was still with him, right? Sledge tried to reassure himself but ultimately shuddered at the thought of the captain's left and rear being completely unescorted. What if he was attacked by some sort of space yeti? He couldn't take that risk, so he quickly selected his item, brought it to the front counter, got impatient and rude with the cashier, was told to leave, apologized profusely, and checked out.
Leaving the hardware store, Sledge had dropped all of his saved credits on a brand-spanking new Workmaster TX-9800 Platinum Wyvern Edition. In addition to the bitchin' name, this new sledgehammer forwent the kinetic amplifier for a point-of-contact spacetime-distortion matter disassembler. That was basically nerd-speak for "this hammer will disintegrate the shit out of any rigid object it comes into contact with by literally shattering reality like a plate-glass window effectively turning it into atomic powder." Sledge slung his new prize over his shoulder, where it could rest comfortably nestled between his deltoids and the two hammers on his hips.
Walking back to the Archius, Sledge suddenly remembered he was in a hurry. And with good reason too! The Archius looked like it was about to take off! Or, well, it always looked like that so he may or may not need to hustle. Sprinting to the open bay doors of the hangar, Sledge and Hercules made it up the ramp in the nick of time... or with plenty of time. He still wasn't sure. He needed to know how close he was, so he just sorta waited in the hangar for a few minutes...
Pippin grabbed his new tools and materials and headed down to the workshop.
Lion just finished making the virtual planning for the Guardian modifications and opened up the third depot room in the hangar where he would find some of the neccesary parts.
The first thing he did was strip off all of the armor plates before replacing them with lighter high-durability plates from Khrosus Industrial.
After that he removed the four hoberpods and replaced them with four NewGen hoverpods known for their flexibility.
Lion then moved on to the turret, replacing the powercells for the kinetic cannon and the laser repeater with new prototypes of his recharging cells.
He then added a small rotating pintle mount to the top where he mounted a LWA Ares Shock Cannon, albeit smaller than the ones used by Hercules.
After finishing the turret, Lion adjusted the missilepods to fire outwards diogonally rather than in a straight upwards line.
When that was done he sprayed on some grey and black splinter camo to the tank before adding some minor utility items such as a communications package designed by Yanim, a trauma kit mounted to the back of the turret, a winch at the front, a spotlight and a thruster in the rear.
Lion observed all the work. "Let's hope Varn approves." He then sent a notification to Varn telling him that the tank was ready.
Varn had returned to the armory to continue his work. The armor was in it's top condition again. All he need now was to put on the finishing touches. He was an honor guard now, so it had to reflect his new position. He picked up the paint and stated putting on the markings on the armor. He received Lion's message. "Let's see what you made Lion." He headed down to the hangar.
Once there Varn carefully observed the changes to the tank. "Great job Lion. Makes me wonder what would have happened if I had bought a Mammoth."
The Archius Ship activated, ascending out of the docks as it prepared to leave Termina Central, leaving nobody behind. Their next stop was a nearest space station for cheaper but effective fuel. Things would go far today.
"Thanks, got a name for her yet?" Asked Lion as he brought out his decor laser.
"Yeah. Call her the Jägermeister."
"Jägermeister it is..." Lion then activated the laser and begun inscribing the name onto the side of the tank.
Sledge thought there was something different about the hangar. As Lion and Varn walked in he waited for a chance to ask. He got one when Lion produced a laser from somewhere and started zapping the thing.
"Soooo.... we got a tank!"
He watched as Lion continued his lettering.
"Jägermeister? Like the liquor?"
Varn just gave sledge a confused look "There's a liquor named that?"
Lion chuckled. "Yeah, a brand of whisky I think. Very rare these days."

"Yep. My old man loved the stuff. On my 13th birthday he gave me a shot and said if I could down it without coughing I was a real man."
Lion finished up using the decor laser. "You should ask Dwan if he has some."
Day 40: (Continue on with your actions.)

The nearest space station was a station called Hanza Fuel Farms, judging by the look of things it wasn't that populated nor was it seeing much business lately, but still had some reliable customers at the scene. A few hours later, the Archius XI parked right on stand by on a huge platform cluttered beside other platforms. Hanza wasn't just a fuel station but rather a cargo stop of the sort.
By then they were already inside. A few men, a few crews wandered. Crews with different variation paying for large equipment huddled with 12 foot crates. A few laughs all assembled.
The men who work in cargo trucks settled down here if they needed a rest, possibly with some entertainment going on in there to satisfy their needs. Regardless, XI is not here to waste time for other tasks are at hand. Jeremy would need to go inside to purchase a variety of fuel and what type would he need. He exited out of the bridge and went to the hangar once again. He pulled out a cartridge of cigarettes and lid it up like a moon light. He exhaled the puff of smoke and daydreamed.
...
Kira stood outside her ship, blowing a few puffs of smoke. No less than a second, she flung the cigarette with a flick of her finger. She was calm now, that was good. She pressed a button, slowly closing the door. The Agent gestured a man in a tightly kept uniform at the bridge. Kira gave her approval by nodding, the man pushed the gear shift to its fullest extent as the gauge control increased. Her ship began to float, pulling a turn, out into the deep blue sea of space. The thrusters increased each degree at a time. She stared at the window motionlessly.
...
Harken Saw placed a small landscape sized picture on the wall, dusting away the dust from his gloves. He observed the two pictures with Archius Kain and a group of some sort. He clenched his hand, narrowing his eyes. Vara walked closely and watched him. The masked man turned to her and pulled out a small case with a few cigars, along with a very expensive lighter. Both sighed and saw the pictures in front of them. Harken Saw took out the lighter, lighting up the pieces of artwork without a care in the world. Vara gave a reassuring smile, both walked away as the robots cleaned the mess up. The end was near...
"[Seems this is your opportunity, Colonel.]"
"[Agreed. It's about time, too.]"
Vorokar, Captain Auri, and the bridge team of the Perikal watched as the disguised Archius approached for docking at the Hanza service station. Nearby, a nondescript cargo vessel, one purchased legitimately from HarkArk, in fact, glided past the void black surfaces of the stealthy war vessel. Its captain was a GKVR officer and its cargo compartment would soon be filled by three dozen blackjacket special operations agents, armed with everything they would need to seize the station.
A voice crackled through the communicator: "[Shadow-Shadow-Iceberg-Vapor: one-one, repeat, one-one. Confirm.]"
"[Shadow-Shadow-Vapor-Iceberg: one-one confirmed,]" said the communications officer. "[Comm lines are secure. What is your status?]"
"[No problems here,]" reported the captain of the cargo ship. "[Is the team ready to come over?]"
"[Weapons here,]" replied the chief weapons officer. "[Shuttle is prepped and ready for transfer. Colonel?]"
"[We're go,]" Vorokar replied. "[See you soon.]"

Yanim stared at the tabletop where the cube had been. Despite her strong conviction that she had dreamt of the proper answer to the stealth cloak question, she was still surprised to see her assertions prove correct. The cube was invisible, just as she believed it would be. She noted in the log: "Objective completed on test number 19." Now that she knew exactly how the cloaking device worked, it wouldn't be long before she discovered a countermeasure which could be used against the Crimson Son.
With the other probably entering the station by now, Yanim wanted to catch up with them and share the big news personally. She quickly stashed the device into a safe box before shuffling out of the workshop and out to the hangar, for once smiling brightly.
Lion had finished repairing Roughrider when Yanim entered the hangar with a big smile on her face. He smiled.
"[Looks like someone is happy!]" He said in kanad.
The W-03A closely followed the Archius as it left Termina and headed to Hanza Fuel Farms. As it followed, the W-05A brought Aver Lagul, Nokhea, Olv and Hlad back to the W-01.
"W-03A, status report!", Lagul asked the ship through the group's communication system. "Yes, Ma'am! The Archius is currently stationed at Hanza Fuel Farms.", the ship responded. "Excellent! W-03A, continue watching the ship!", Lagul told the ship before ending the call. Arriving at the bridge, Lagul began barking orders. "Set course for Hanza Fuel Farms! The Archius is near!", she commanded, as the W-01 began heading the space station's direction.

Dwan had finished his cup of joe and began cleaning the cup. He had managed to calm himself down, but his hands were still a bit jittery. Maybe seeing what the others are doing might calm him down a bit more. After cleaning the cup, Dwan left the bar and headed down to the hangar.
"Okay, if anyone would like to volunteer to guard the Cap then feel free to raise your hand." Jeremy said, keeping his pistol in holster as he opened the ramp. "Might be a store in there to occupy your needs."
Varn raised his hand. "I missed the last security detail, so I'll go."
Iska slung her her LMG across her shoulder, raising her hand.
"Iskas cigarettes almost out, will come"
"I'll stay here and keep an eye out." Said Lion. "Already inside the station's security system so I got eyes on you at all times."
"Of course." Jeremy muttered. He went out as well as the volunteers, turning to see a couple of crews checking their schedules. He saw the prices for fuel actually low. This was going to be good. Jeremy thought, going inside already to be met by music following by patrons of the classy and slum kind. What place was this?
[QUOTE=Viper123_SWE;48321379]"[Looks like someone is happy!]" He said in kanad.[/QUOTE]
"[My friend, I've just finished a difficult project. We've just gained a significant advantage in our struggle with the Crimson Son,]" Yanim replied. Outstretching her arm to show the tablet strapped to it, she mentally ordered the playback of video her optics package had recorded during the final, successful test. Lion watched as the shimmering cube disappeared onscreen, signaling the successful reverse-engineering of the stealth cloak.

Vorokar and his away team were assembled in the cargo bay of the decoy ship as it slowly glided toward the station. His hand twitched against the receiver of his OBV, anticipating the high stakes of the coming maneuver. His intention, despite a buried desire to simply kill the humans he was about to encounter, was to detain the crew without firing a shot. This would be the course of action most likely to gain a commendation from his superiors. Being in his late 30s, he was growing too old for gun fights anyway, and he was growing more and more impatient waiting for his promotion to general.
It would only be a few minutes now. Once the crew was subdued, their vessel would be searched for any relevant information of the whereabouts of the Oracle, and Vorokar would not leave empty-handed. Even if he would have to brutalize the scum to do it, he would earn his star.
Iska entered the shop, and looked around. "Feels like trade station on back home." she said with a relieved sigh.
Oh how she missed that trade station, all the night spent with clansmen just hanging around, drinking beer, chatting and inspecting each others transports. She specifically remembered Strevos custom built Homkah, now that was a fine piece of machinery.
She walked over to the desk and ordered a pack of her favorite, Taubor red label tobaccos.
Waiting for the pack she took in the atmosphere, the people and the music. She felt calm for once.
Whilst Jeremy and Varn were acquiring fuel, she stepped outside to have a cig whilst keeping an eye on the surroundings.
Varn entered the room after Jeremy. He felt naked without his armor and only civilian gear, but a mercenary sporting heavy armor would send off red flags with the local security. Still he had his handgun ready if things went bad.
The shop itself felt like any other you would see around the galaxy. He looked around, observing the surroundings while the captain was buying the fuel. A higher number of Kanads than usual was the only thing that stood out. "Everything looks good here. Lion, you picking anything unusual?"
Sledge entered the shop behind the rest of the group.
"Please let them have it, please let them have it..." he muttered. "Aha!" He spied the section of Slim Jims and beef jerky.
"Aside from a fugitive doing a piss job at hiding his inmate clothes there's not really anything out of the ordinary." Replied Lion to Varn while watching Yanim's recording.
He nodded approvingly. "[Now that will be useful, hopefully your cloak will last longer than my built-in one.]" Said Lion with a friendly smile.
As he was about to commend Yanim further the surveillance systems noted what would otherwise be a inconspicious ship if it wasn't for the fact that it lacked any kind of registration whatsoever.
"Let's keep an eye on this one..." Lion thought to himself.
Yanim sensed the surveillance system's notification, but paid it little mind. It was only a cargo ship, according to the system. She absent-mindedly swiped her tablet screen to the event log to confirm receipt when suddenly she was cut off by something much more alarming. The Archius' automatic security systems suddenly engaged, red alert, and Yanim's tablet was bombarded with warnings of a hostile target lock on the ship.
"[What the hell?]" she said, her implant struggling to make the slew of warning messages coherent for her. "[The ship says we've been painted but it can't figure out what's doing it,]" she said, a feeling of panic rising in her.
Meanwhile, the unmarked cargo ship docked at the station at the furthest platform from the Archius.
The station managers were simultaneously contacted directly by the Perikal over radio and informed that the station was being seized, with the expressed warning that any attempt to resist would be met with deadly force. They scarcely had time to announce on the PA system of a "police search" before the doors of the cargo craft opened, revealing the Trojan scheme for what it was- three dozen blackjackets poured into the station platform brandishing their rifles and screaming orders in multiple languages at any and all bystanders to disarm themselves and wait for instruction in a submissive position.
Elsewhere, Jeremy received warning of the ship lock-on warning at the same moment the managers' PA system announced the the GKVR were arriving to search the station. The situation was quickly becoming perilous and Jeremy would need to make a decision of what to do, fast.
Jeremy was speechless, the ship lock on warning, the PA system sounding off that anyone armed to disarm immediately. This was a definite sign someone was on to them. No, these men already knew where they where at a quick notice and they're threatening them at this certain moment. "Shit." Jeremy admitted, escaping was a death wish, he knew that well. "Guys, do what they say. They got us by the balls." Jeremy said to his members.
Iska was just annoyed that she seemed to never be able to actually just relax anymore. She even had her cigarette halfway when a kanad in uniform and with a rifle started pointing it at her and shouting orders in multiple languages.
He eventually came to english, "Put your weapon in front of you and get on your knees!". Iska slowly laid her LMG on the ground and got on her knees. "Even on knee Iska is taller than you." she muttered with a smirk "What now, little man?".
