Slightly confused by the feminine voice, Iska let out a chuckle.
"You are woman? So sorry, to me only look like cannon tripod" she said cheerfully, again followed by laughter. After chuckling a bit more, the liqour had had settled down and the aggresiveness had been traded for curiosity. Whilst lighting a cigarette, she continued; "Never seen species before, what is homeplanet?".
Intrigued, Viper walks to table. "My species lack a core world like your most of your soft-carbons do, instead the Sanghvi hail from the Patagonia asteroid belt" Replying to the large slender soft-carbon. Viper's stares for a bit as one of the soft-carbon's consumes a dark liquid before looking back to the soft-carbon.
[phones gonna die soon so deathgrunt can reply and Idka will, lets say, pass out like the acoholic she is. Just carry her and her stuff aboard the ship and stow her into her quarters, she'll come around eventually]
Isaac awoke on the bridge after realizing he only was out of commission for a few hours.
'Shit, Chief has probably been looking for me'
Isaac left the bridge and took the elevator down, on his way to Engine Room in hopes of finding his chief in command there.
"Asteroid belt?" Iska replays, tired. "How you even get down from there?". Iska is getting noticably more unfocused and looks back at Viper with lazy eyes and then back at her drink.
"Excuse me" she says, then downing the drink and falling asleep on the bar table, cigarette still in hand.
At this time, Yanim arrived on the bridge. After the unpleasant encounter in the cafeteria, she would be pleased to hold her OBV again, as well as to set foot on the barren, frozen surface of the planet outside. It would be quite reminiscent of her home planet, which, behind the intimidating facade of the Collective, was home to a community of hundreds of millions of families who referred to it by its ancient name, Kanadys. Resources were limited there, and conditions were rough, but everyone struggled together. Not even the highbloods were truly aristocrats, only the councilors could be called by that title.
In truth, she would be better off leaving it far behind, but under the snowfall, Yanim couldn't help but feel homesick.
Turning her attention back to the task at hand, she sought out Lion to ask for her OBV.
"Captain, with your permision of course, I would like to go to the local mercenary outpost to report to my bosses. I can also go around the shops to see if they have any valuable tech, blueprints or schematics we can use."
"Yes, that is fine, if you need any help contact me via the Arm Communicator Device." Jeremy said while pointing at his Arm Communicator.
"Sir, what about my weapon demonstration? Surely you wish to be well-armed before disembarking?"
Lion asked Jeremy.
"I highly doubt we will need to use the weapons, you can show us after, and these guys we are picking up have already waited long enough." Jeremy said.
"Can't wait to meet my new crew members.", Dwan commented. "Let's hope we can finish this up quickly, I've got a book about the science of caldiur I've got to finish reading.", Dwan stated.
[I'm gonna go ahead, assuming that most folks are at the bridge. Long post incoming.]
Lion looked at Dwan before showing a slight hint at a smile.
"I thought you'd never asked, Dwan."
Lion hit a button on the PDA in his hand and all of a sudden the weapon racks rotated ninety degrees, positioning the racks upwards.
"This, my friends, is the Archius Arsenal Version One." Exclaimed Lion as he pointed towards the rows of shiny guns in varying shapes and colors. "Let us begin."
Lion moved forward and brought out a long gun partly made in silvery metal and partly in wooden furniture. A bulls' head was inscripted to the stock. The most interesting feature was the fact that the weapon had three barrels and a rather slim-looking pump-action grip in wood. Lion looked at Dwan once again.
"Dwan! While cleaning your other weapons, I scanned the retro design and started working on your gun right away. Meet the Texas Ranger, a three-barreled pump-action laser shotgun that feeds on three powercells."
Lion handed over the weapon to Dwan.
"Primary firemode works like a standard pump-action with the exception that you can fire all three barrels before pumping. Secondary mode allows you to fire all the barrels simultaneously, horrifying to say the least. The wooden furniture is the only thing that weighs on this gun as everything else is constructed in a highly durable lightweight alloy. Be sure to try it out in the range, beware of the recoil tho. Oh, by the way, I adjusted the weight on your artillery cannon. It should be easier to use now."
Lion then moved on, he brought out a carbine next.
"Yamina, this one's for you. Burstfire kinetic carbine that can wreak havoc in close- to medium-engagements. Since your role is to perform emergency repairs I took the liberty of installing a compact toolbox in the stock."
Lion lighlty hit the stock, revealing a small space within.
"There's a compact welder, designe dby your truly, as well as a plethora of other small utility tools. Oh, there's a secondary mode as well. If you press the red button located above your thumb you'll fire a small magnet-projectile. Fire that into a crowd of armored opponents and they'll start bouncing into each other pretty soon. Only negative effect of the gun is that the stock can be a bit heavy, make sure to aim down properly when firing."
Lion handed over the carbine to Yamina.
"I call it the LWA Type 1 Support-Carbine. Treat it well."
Lion moved on, picking up a rather small gun with a large tube at the center.
"Joseph and Arthur, meet the LWA Pathogen Gun."
Lion hit a small button which made the centertube start spinning slowly while several lights lit up.
"This weapon comes equipped with both a small built-in laser SMG and a tube full of programmable nanites. The nanites are the primary ammunition of this weapon, if you insert a medical tube with any kind of biological or chemical agent the nanites can be programmed to carry the agents and infect any hostiles dumb enough to fight a pair of mad doctors. There's two sockets underneath the weapon that can take any universal type of sample tubes, vials and so forth. The gun runs on a standard powercell."
Lion picked up an exact copy of the weapon.
"And of course, I made two of them. Only negative effects is that the nanites cause alot of friction and heat during prolonged firing. Make sure to not overheat the gun. Also, don't use it when there's friendlies nearby as the nanites, despite having a IFF-system, can easily infect unlucky allies as well. Use it with caution."
Lion handed over the odd-looking weapons to the doctors.
"Kr and Isaac! Sadly I don't have a pair of beefy guns for you, instead I built something that can be used both in combat and in engineering."
Lion brought out a glove.
"This is the LWA Nanite Glove; The glove comes equipped with a built-in kinetic pistol, good for CQC-sniping, as well as a small pod of nanites."
Lion pointed at a small circular area at the wrist of the glove before continuing.
"While lacking in long range these nanites can both construct and dismantle objects, as long as there is raw resources at hand. The nanite pod is linked to your neural cortex meaning that they're... Well, mind-controlled."
He then handed over a pair of gloves to both Kr and Isaac.
"One size fits all."
He moved on, grabbing a very long rifle.
"Dolosus, since you already have a carbine for CQC-engagements I made something that can pick off those targets beyond your usual range."
Lion waved dramatically at the gun, the gun itself was in a greyish color with two orange stripes painted on the receiver. A small skull with two scythes crossed behind was printed on the stock.
"This is the LWA Class 1 Railgun. I call it the reaper."
With the click of a button the barrels extended.
"Using a whole twenty-four magnetic coils for charging, this baby sends away kinetic incased slugs at an alarming speed. It can penetrate most armor, that is in theory of course since I haven't tried it here onboard the ship. Powercell lasts for months and can be quickly recharged. The scope is a 20x Holo-Hunter scope used for extreme ranges, a rangefinder is built-in."
Lion handed over the gun.
"Last but not least; Jeremy!"
Lion proceeded to bring out a white-colored medium-sized bullpuprifle.
"This is the LWA Hawk; Based on the design of the Sol Special-Forces Carbine this weapon excels at all ranges. It can fire in three different modes, semi, three-round burst and full-auto. There's a ammo counter located at the rear of the receiver, alongside some ironsights. The Hawk can fire both kinetic, plasma and laser-rounds. The powercell-socket and magwell are universal and you can switch between the ammo-sources freely."
A blue-colored hawks' head was painted on the receiver.
With the racks now empty, Lion turned towards the crew.
"That concludes this distribution of arms. Oh and for those of you didn't get any weapons, don't worry; I'm always working."

Viper's looks at the unconsciousness soft-carbon and take's looks around the fellow soft-carbons, asking
"This soft-carbon, where is it-she going?". The soft-carbons seem to ignore Viper, yelling and fighting each other or pasting out themselves. Viper annoyed, let's a out a sharp shriek from the implant. Getting the attention of them and one responses, saying that she was heading to a star ship called Archius XI along with other unflattering things about Viper and the soft-carbon.
Viper remembering that is the same star ship that UGC assigned Viper as well. Viper picked up and begin carrying her with Viper's two large back talon, making sure to cut or hurt the large soft-carbon, while heavy and a foot trailer then Viper, Viper was able to carry to her to the Dockingstation entrance while looking out the crew of the Archius XI.
Arthur's eyes lit up at the sight of all these weapons, though especially at the idea of waging biological warfare on his enemies. His mind flooded with ideas for the weapons.
"My god Lion, you've truly outdone yourself. Do you think it would be at all possible to modify this weapon to harvest cells from my enemy? If we run into any hostile aliens, this would further the cause of science by many a year."
Dwan receives the Texas Ranger from Lion. A three-barreled pump-action laser shotgun that feeds on three powercells and has two firing modes? He's amazed.
"Lion, I only have one thing to say regarding this gun. Jitat!", Dwan says, saying damn in his mother's native language. "My book on Caldury can wait. I must try this weapon out!", Dwan exclaims excitingly. As a token of gratitude, Dwan gives Lion some credits for his hard work.

"Oh, thanks Mr.Lion. I still got the handgun that was put out earlier, but this is far more interesting and fascinating." :Isaac said.
Isaac but on the glove and a familiar sound started playing:

"Pretty retro of you Lion" :Isaac chuckled while stretching his fingers in his new obtained weapon.
Varn felt nothing but jealousy towards his fellow crew, but he tried to hide it. Poorly.
"Th-those guns look really cool."

"Thank you sir. If anyone wants anything from the shops or information from the nasty underground of this planet, please make a list pass it along. Ill try to get around."
"I aim to please, it makes me happy that you find the weapons satisfying."
He rotated his hands in excitement before being handed over a small amount of credits from Dwan.
Lion nodded before tunring his attention to Arthur and Varn.
"I could program the nanites to include a third mode, that being cell and DNA-harvesting. Since they're already connected to my own network they should reprogram shortly, meaning that if you don't infuse them with a chemical or biological agent they should now carry out that task automatically.
As for you Varn; Like I said there's more weapons being worked on. Expect your weapon in about two days."

"Aha! Very good Lion, thank you. Although I prefer Shotguns, a good Automatic is always a good weapon to have." Jeremy said with happiness.
"I guess it's time we head out, we will grab the two new members first." Jeremy said.
The crew then head off to find the crew members.
After some time of walking, they arrived at the Dockingstation, Jeremy got up a picture of the two.
"That is them, seems like Iska is drunk. I'll grab her and take her back, Arthur, you can take Bruta to the Exchange and I'll be back to look at the Staff Members." Jeremy said.
He then went over and picked up Iska.

"Yes Starhawk-Captain" said as viper stood up and started to follow along the soft-carbon but before heading too far with him, Viper stop and said "Sorry Starhawk-Captain but I need to asked. What is the status of the Archius XI and her crew mates? I was informed that there's was a pirate raiding attempt and as appointed head Of Security, I would like to have a full report from you, all know personnel that was involved in the attack, security and otherwise."
"Arthur, you can take Bruta to the Exchange and I'll be back to look at the Staff Members."
"Can do, my friend!" Arthur said, flashing a very happy smile. With that, he turned and rolled Bruta off into the town, intending to get in contact with the local law enforcement regarding the pirate.
Yanim took her new carbine from Lion. The Type-1, as it was called, was heavier than the OBV that it was based on. The additions of the magnet launcher and the toolkit were interesting customizations, but sadly unnecessary. She realized he must have noticed how heavy her toolkit appeared on her back, but she only needed to carry it herself because she had not yet assigned a droid to do it for her. In addition, she already possessed a similar small set which she now wore on her belt.
The weight imbalance was no exaggeration, either. What must have felt like only a small issue to human hands felt unwieldy in her own. She shouldered the weapon and looked down the sights, and realized that she would have more difficulty aiming than Lion expected. She felt bad for Lion, knowing that he worked hard, but also knowing that he didn't ask for her input. At first opportunity, she would be sure to explain her reservations to him in private in hopes of there being no hard feelings.
Having received his gun and seeing that he's no longer needed, Dwan went up the elevator and returned to the bar, where he put the Texas Ranger next to his other weaponry.
Dwan continues reading one of the books he brought onto the ship: "Caldury: The Truth" by Wevras Gervase, Cl.D. As he was reading his book, Dwan realized something. He's been on many adventures before coming to the Archius. The ship probably doesn't have any books on Caldury, or even know what it means. Noticing how he has a spare of every single book he has about Caldury, he decided to donate them to the Archive. He grabbed his data storage device and put the spare books in a briefcase.
He went down the Elevator and entered the Archive. Noticing an empty shelf, he placed the spare books there and changed the shelf label to "Books about Caldury". He turned to the Archive Computer, which had a Dictionary within it. Dwan connected his data storage device to it and let the AI scan the relevant words on the device.
New words added to the Archive Dictionary [2]:
Caldiur (from the blend of Icelandic galdur and Latin carmen, both meaning "magic") is the scientific term for the paranormal phenomena known as magic or sorcery. Coined by A.J. Malinowski in [year unknown], the term was created to disconnect it from the negative connotations the word "magic" has gained.
Caldury is a science concerned with the study of caldiur and other related concepts. Caldury often uses physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, ecology and botany as tools to illustrate its studies. Known Caldurians are A.J. Malinowski, Wevras Gervase, Robin Tylor and Johann Frazer. Caldury is both praised and critized for its study of caldiur.
Thank you for contributing to the Archive Dictionary. For interested linguists, we are currently attempting to convince closed off planets such as the planet of Mer to allow outsiders to study their planets, their cultures and most importantly, their languages.
Dwan wasn't surprised the dictionary didn't have Caldiur or Caldury in its library. He doubts anyone on the ship has heard of the term, it's really out of this world.
Feeling satisfied, he went back up the elevator and to the bar, where he continued reading his book. He just hoped no one questioned his interest in caldury.
Varn got of the ship and headed straight to the mercenary outpost. He plugged his suit to the nearest terminal and tipped in his password. The logo of the Boome marines shined on the screen, after 2 seconds a menu appeared with the following options
-Report
-Requests
-Funds
Varn pressed the Report button and spend 20 minutes filing a report. He instantly got a response "Keep up the good work X, funds are wired to your account." The bot must have been broken again. He clicked Requests and looked around for new weapon schematics to pass on to Lion. He probably could make something good with these.
Varn unplugged and got up from the terminal and headed towards the barkeep and asked for any interesting news or rumors.
Once on the planet's surface, Yanim dropped a small case which she had retrieved from her room. Once opened, it unfolded itself into a crude hoverbike that she had built on her home planet many years earlier, and now, much like then, she savored the opportunity to fly over the open, icy landscapes unhindered. The small craft roared to life with the characteristic whine of kanad-made repulsor circuits.
Jeremy, Iska, Viper and the rest arrived at Archius XI.
"Welcome to Archius XI, now I have some more work to attend to so I won't be coming in to show you around, but there are plenty of people in there to help you around along with an AI for any information about the ship, crew and basically anything you guys need." Jeremy said.
"You can contact me on my Arm Communicator anytime." He said while pointing at his arm.
"I better head off to the Staff Market so I can get us more Engineering Staff. So I will catch you guys later...OH and before I forget, ask the AI about the current mission, if it for some reason brings up coming to here, then mention Termina Central and the Oracle, then it should update you." Jeremy said.
He then turned around and walked off to the Staff Market.
Jordon awoke from his drinking induced comma and removed himself from the bar. He then stumbled his way down to the science lab.
Arthur was taking the dumb dumb Bruta to the authorities. Usually Rigel Authorities like the Guardian Brigade dealt with the worst criminals that could ever walk among the galaxy like hardcore pirates, hitmen, terrorists, and even Religion Extremists. Bruta was gonna fit right in with the locked up tortured cellmates.
"So Colonel Bruta, leader of the Tainted Raiders has finally decided to turn himself in, who would have knew? The Guardian Brigade appreciates your effort; I'm assuming you'll here for the reward bounty?"
...
Arther has recently traded the now locked up Bruta for more credits than he imagined, he pulled out a shit eating grin and hurried out until some girl went up to him. She happened to be human, her only unique feature was probably her red wavy hair.
"So I noticed you just traded a criminal in? How much did they pay you?" She asked curiously.
"A lot than you could imagine friend."
"Interesting. Hmm, my name is Perra Clarke. Say, are you interested in bug hunting?"
Arthur cocked his head to the side.
"Bug hunting? You'll have to tell me more, my buxom redheaded friend." Arthur grinned, as he whipped out a device and transferred most of the credits to the ship's account.
"You see where that money went? Directly to the crew I work for. We're currently looking for some jobs to pick up on the side, and if this 'bug hunting' pays well... I think we're game for anything."
Perra chuckled for a bit, crossing her arms as her hips swayed. She raised her arm towards him as a hologram pulled up showing a large advert for the Inquisition: An expedition sponsored by Helix Corps in order to eradicate the deadly bugs that infest specific parts of Rigel, underground. The details for location is an Outpost called Sanctum, the event will take place later at night where the Screechers are at most active.
"Apparently Helix Corps are paying top credit for the groups who participate. A dozen crews are willing to risk neck and limb for some dough, you look like a guy who can handle himself as well as your crew from the sounds of it."
She deactivated her holo band and stared straight at Arthur. "These bugs are filthy Screechers who have a queen that's been giving some of Helix's mining operations trouble. Let's say my crew and your crew work together and we can find this queen. We split 50/50. The final payout is 20 Million Credits. That's a hella lot for hunting bugs. What do you say?"
Meanwhile, at the Science Lab. Joseph has just finished the cloning process, an unconscious pirate clone was seen on a stretcher where Joseph began pushing it into the Medical Lab.
Putting the clone on an operating table and restraining the pirate, Joseph began preparing his tools when the pirate clone woke.
((Doom evil, write some dialogue for the pirate clone, she should have the same memory as the original. Write it as how you would if you find yourself strapped on an operating table with a mad doctor))
Speaking into his comm, Joseph said.
"Arthur? I am ready to start the experiment, vould you like to assist me?"
The pirate has woken up from her slumber, not realizing she is but a copy, a product of her original self. She was restrained on the table, barely any clothes at all. She tried to resist but it was no use. "GET ME OUT OF THIS YOU SICK FUCK!" She screamed but no one heard except the Doctor himself.
Her hand restrains were tight to a crisp there's no way she was getting out of here.
"Arthur?" Joseph said into his comm again, "I require your assistance in the medicinal lab."
She kept trying to move her way out but yet she still couldn't get out. "What the hell do you want from me?!"
"Once I get out of here, your damn head is going to be sewn in a fuckin' blender!"
