"Well the third option sounds like the more viable one. I reckon that the gearheads wouldn't try to capture our equipment nor would they allow several tall mechs to whack them with their fists.
As for ideas, I got some schematics from a really old project of mine. Stand by for blueprints."
One by one, Lion started relaying several blueprints.
"I hope these will help. Last one took alot of time to design."
"As for ideas, I got some schematics from a really old project of mine. Stand by for blueprints.", Lion said. Dwan wondered what was going to happen when Lion relayed the blueprints through the coin. Suddenly, Dwan's vision was obscured by blueprints. He almost tripped trying to hold onto his worktable as the blueprints directly went into his memory. "I hope these will help. Last one took a lot of time to design.", Lion said. Dwan was dizzy from the experience. Soon, his vision came back and he started to think of all the blueprints he had received from Lion.
"Y-yeah, these are pretty good.", he said, as he quickly drew out the blueprints by hand. "That's 8 designs. You think that's enough mechs?", Dwan asked.
"For sure." Said Lion as he observed the tools inside his quarters.
"Alright, I'll get to work then.", Dwan said, as he put the designs in a neat pile. "If you don't hear from me in the next few minutes, I'll have probably passed out. If that happens, just tell everyone that I'm busy getting myself extra ready for the battle in my quarters and that they shouldn't disturb me, even if that means that I'll be late... hear from you soon.", Dwan told Lion, as he ended the connection. Dwan sighed, as he grabbed the designs and went out.
He looked at the field of materials he had collected. He used his powers to make the designs levitate in order to free his hands. He cracked them. "[Time to build.]", Dwan said in his native Enochian. He himself began to levitate, as he flew over the field. He glanced at all the designs and got to work. He took the materials and started molding them into what they were required to be; parts for the mechs. Soon, he had made enough parts to construct at least one of each mech. As he worked, what appeared to be veins on his left hand, left forearm and the left side of his face started to pop out.
He put each mech in a line, standing by each other. He sighed once more. He straightened his posture and began charging up his power. As he did, he yelled... quite loudly in fact. The remaining materials quickly turned into parts and started assembling themselves into mechs. Dwan was pushing himself to his limits, as constructing around 150 mechs all at the same time was unprecedented for him. Then, he pushed himself beyond his limits, screaming like a demon, as the entire quarter of the universe he was in could feel a sudden burst of caldiur. With one final push, Dwan created a crack on the planet he was on (one that conveniently missed his pad) and finished the construction of the mechs.
Dwan was hurting. His eyes were bloodshot, his body felt like it was melting and he could barely breath. He started to slowly levitate back to the ground, trying to keep his caldiur as stable as possible. But he was too hurt from the experience. He collapsed a few meters of the ground, hitting it hard. He tried to get himself up, but he had stretched his caldiur to its limits. He couldn't heal himself as fast as wanted to. He applied one last passive healing incantation before passing out.
Day 42: The Answer To The Ultimate Question
The alarms throughout the base rang. Mercenaries and the Privateers nodded to each other and moved swiftly in gear. No time to lose today, they were going to war. By the time of the 42th day hundreds of thousands ships have joined Harken Saw's grand army to assault Zeruel, ranging from simple fighter classes to immense battleships.
The majority were Privateers, paid in service to finally rid the Crimson Son. The secondary forces were either PMCs such as the Hiscan Guard, freelancers, or cheap pirates. Either one really couldn't care for anything so long as they were paid and that was fine for Harken Saw.
They were close to Zeruel, and oh so prepared to strike. Ject yawned outside of the ship, widening his eyes at the pure sight. He rubbed his eyes and immediately went to the pilot's room. "Shit." He said, he turned his head across the hallway. "Elli! Bruta! We're going into action, get your gear and assemble." Ject said. He grabbed the wheel and checked the gauge.
Bruta and Elli walked in, already geared up. "You ready to kick some ass?" Bruta asked Ject. Ject heard the question but kept in focus. "Yeah, I'm pumped for this, you better be too. I'm not planning on dying in the first casualties." Ject said to him. Bruta nodded and made sure to remind himself not to go reckless and you know not die.
"If the Privateer Head Command instructs us to wait for the right moment then we'll launch?" Bruta asked him.
"Well sorta, the full detail is that reconnaissance will scout the outskirts of the planet, making sure they're not hiding anything. Our second phase is to obviously haul down there and prepare the invasion. Third phase will have each regiment place fortresses down the areas. Phase Four: whatever settlements the Son have we are ordered to destroy them completely. No one left alive in there. That last phase will probably be the Privateers doing the heavy handling." Ject explained to his former superior.
Bruta crossed his arms and nodded. "Saw better have some serious firepower if he wants to pierce through a defensive position. The ones who are on the defense always have the upper hand." Bruta recalled. Elli bit her lip, wondering if they'll be the first to go in.
"If anything I'm worried about it's the space battle, if we fail to defend our fleets outside of the atmosphere then we might as well lose right now." Ject reasoned.
"You're right, everyone's gonna have to do their shitlist and become friends in order to win. I reckon that's gonna be hard for some groups." Bruta said, receiving a sigh from Ject. Ject chuckled at the thought of it, back then Bruta wasn't one for getting strategic lately. "A bit wise today are you?" Ject asked. Bruta shrugged his shoulders to him. "Not really, just thinking about living today. I'm also keeping you guys alive under my watch." Bruta said to both, receiving smiles from both. "In that case I'll make sure you're staying alive too." Elli winked.
Lion walked in on the bridge and stood next the captain's chair. "Status?"
Sheila turned to him. "They just gave us the signal to do final preparations before jumping."
Lion nodded. "It's about time."
"Sir, we have a green light for jumping" Seth got out of his chair, glass still in hand and pressed the button on the intercom on the Talon. "Prepare to jump with the Archius. I'm on my way to the bridge."
(Where's Kira gone to?) Pippin stood and headed for the bridge. "Lion, is there anything I can do right now?"
Lion turned to face Pippin. "Not for now, you should rest. I'll let you and the others know when the time is right."
He opened up the crew channel. "Crew, this is Lion speaking. We just received the order to prepare for jump. It'll take a few hours before we reach Zeruel so I suggest that all non-essential personnel take the time to rest. If there are any gods out there I suggest you send them your prayers, because we'll need it."
"We've got coordinates," Rask said with discomfort evident in his voice.
"Finally..." Yanim responded. "This is our break everyone. Don't fuck it up, and don't die for HarkArk. We'll all take some personal time when this is over."
Neasha entered the coordinates repeated by Rask into the warp drive, after which she took the communicator from him as he would need to be mobile. She synced herself into the command pipeline so that she could hear the signal when it was time to jump.
"Do we have any pressure suits?" Virin suddenly asked while clipping the shoddily-made copy of the Valkyrie device around his waist. As he finished, Gat suddenly took his hand.
"[Good luck,]" she whispered before heading off to the medical bay.
"Yeah," Neasha answered, "but they're serek-shaped. Why?"
"They have headsets built in, don't they?" Virin said urgently as he left the room. After visiting the airlock, he returned with three in hand. He gave one to Rask and kept one for himself, with the last one reserved for Neasha. "These things have backup batteries; they don't need the suits to work."
"Good thinking," Yanim said as she attuned her ear implants to the ship's radio feed. "I don't have a microphone," she projected, "but I should be able to speak directly through my neural bridge. Can you hear me?" she asked.
"You sound like a robot," Neasha answered. "It's creepy."
"It's good enough. I'll fix it later."
[Mind initiating the fleet-wide jump Doom?]
Mariahlus focused on the center area, searching for her opponent as he crept among them. The opponent immediately unveiled his presence by deactivating his stealth mode. She saw Sertum swipe his practice sword in a vertical motion, she side stepped but was too slow to avoid another attack by the Auditor. Sertum grabbed her right foot and swung her across the room. Sertum held a defensive stance as he saw Folter across his eye going for the kill.
Zane unleashed his molecular wave towards his superior. Sertum avoided the swift claw from Folter, swiping his sword across his chest as the warrior let out a frustrated groan. Folter pressed his hand against his chest, receiving a complex kick but grasped Sertum's leg to prevent him from escaping.
Sertum noticed Zane's incoming attack and decided to use Folter as a body shield. Zane couldn't aim and awaited for the moment, seeing Dirge's pet engaged towards Sertum.
Sertum saw all directions. Dirge's pet was fierce and had an enormous strength advantage, not to mention its endurance for pain was absurdly high. Mariahlus activated her jet boosters within her boots. She gained the high ground as she aimed for Sertum using her dual blasters. Sertum threw Folter out of the way, dodging the incoming wave from Zane but got plumbed by Dirge's mutt. Sertum was overwhelmed as the pet roared in anticipation to take him out.
Sertum pierced through the mutt's shoulder using the practice sword, in result snapping in half. He kicked the mutt off using all of his strength. He received at least two shots from Mariahlus, narrowing his vision to take out the flight problem. He activated his wrist gadget, aiming to the side to launch heat-seeking incapitators towards his foe. The oncoming fire went unexpected to Mariahlus. Too fast to avoid the shot she knocked back as the charge disrupted her flight ability. Slamming to the floor.
Sertum went invisible, performing a high kick towards Folter. Folter chuckled as he attempted to predict his opponent's location. Folter discharged his trap for Sertum but realized he wasn't there. Sertum sneaked pass and grabbed Folter by the neck area. Dirge's pet charged to Folter and Sertum. Realizing this Sertum threw Folter towards the mutt, as he dodged Zane's wave. He proceeded to move head on against Zane's wishes and threw the snapped sword, activating his stealth ability to gain the upper hand.
Zane, dumbfounded saw his weapon emit electrical charges, deactivating as he found Sertum behind him. Sertum extended an open palm strike to his helmet, pushing his back. He saw the fallen enemies struggle. He slowly clapped and nodded in approval. "I'm impressed, your teamwork is noted and I thank you for the spar." He gestured, holding his arm to his chest. The other Auditors did the same and bowed.
Folter walked up to him. "I'd say that I was the punching bag unfortunately." He turned to the racket of equipment, seeing Sertum's regular sword deactivated. "It would be quite fun to use that sword." Folter enhanced his speed and grasped the sword within his hands.
He realized there was no place to activate it. "There's no button. What is this sorcery?" Sertum took it out of his hands. The sword slowly emitted a white aura. "Only I know how to use its power." Sertum stated, receiving a hiss from Zane.
"It can cut men sure, but surely you're overestimating a tool?" Zane said. Sertum gave him a stare
"The potential is endless, what might be a simple elegant sword is rather... extraordinary." Sertum explained.
"How charming. Mind telling the trick to this sword's background?" Folter rolled his eyes underneath. Sertum sighed at him and gazed at the grip hold, letting everyone see.
"Ancient, and created from the Swordsman That Came Before."
"What?" Folter blinked, tilting his head at this swordsman.
"During an assignment, the one on Valor Z0, I was met with a man of mysterious origin. He asked curiously was I looking for something. I was, I was looking for power to help our own. He grinned and told me to fight him. I lost, but I kept trying and trying until further exhaustion. He scoffed at me at my motives, my goals. He gave me one last look and nodded. I followed him as he forged a sword. One of might, one of superiority: Helden. He told me this is power but, you will fail if you rely on yourself and it for too long. Regardless of his philosophy I will defeat my obstacles with or without anyone. I left that world and so did he. I never saw him again.
Folter simply clapped slowly. "Once again charming, your sword is unfortunately forged by a God. And judging by your description of him he sounds like an asshole. I'd watch your back someday." Folter stated. The Auditors walked out of the training room and proceeded to the Ground Levels.
...
The crimson interior faded with the low lightning as a large screen appeared in front of the board. At least 14 members, dressed with the most expensive leather comfortable clothing. The decoration shows from all. The members varied from young to old age. They waited patiently, they didn't mind this was a call for celebration. Then, a sudden beam automatically opened the entrance door. The Auditors caught their attention, they nodded in respect for each other.
A man in his 50s, grey haired, pale stood up in countenance of the Auditors. "Auditors, I see that you are late." He smiled, considering that a joke but Auditors had no sense of humor, except for Folter. "Training Victus." Mariahlus spoke up.
"Training at this day? Auditor Mariahlus, there's no need, why not celebrate?" Victus grabbed a glass cup from the lengthy table, raising it up for everyone to see. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I present a toast. To the Crimus: our forces has recovered the Oracle. May we seek sanctuary at long last." Others noted as the history of the Richter in the archives. Everyone raised their glasses except the Auditors. Gulping down on their liquids as they synced.
Victus placed his glass down, staring at Sertum. "I suppose Derrick would have liked to share this moment with the rest..." Victus said. He sighed as his eyes looked now.
"Derrick Meers along with others sacrificed themselves to rid HarkArk's stable empire. I know others were unaware of the SYN Bomb, at least it was quick enough." Sertum recounted.
"As a Crimus Principal I applaud your service Auditor Sertum. Not only did your plan for retrieving the Oracle worked but this will show a devastating effect on HarkArk." Victus sat down as Sertum didn't respond until a moment later. "Perhaps, but I sense a retaliation coming from them. Their Privateers are around each major sector. We shouldn't be so ignorant so fast."
"Don't be pessimistic, Harken Saw must deal with his actions in the first place. Besides, they have a lot to worry about other than us."
"Victus, the Richter speaks." A female voice caught him off guard. Static appeared on the large screen, a voice sprang in the first time in years. "Too long have we waited for this. The Oracle now in our grasp, we have struggled a hundred years ago." Others caught on and listened, they were aware of the Richter's Kauzen origin. This wasn't news at all but it was still a historical moment that should be remembered within the Leadership Constable.
"Until, the discovery of the Conduit; a dimension far beyond our grasp. The Conduit gave us a new opportunity, a new hope for change. Inventions, endless possibilities. While we haven't mastered the use, I am confident that we will be able to advance that in due time. Now with the Conduit and the Oracle, we must oppress those that think about harming us. A new age will usher within the Crimus." The Richter declared. All of the members recited: Loyalty. Dedication. Order. Before nodding to the Richter.
Suddenly they could hear a door open up. The Auditors and Principals turned to this figure. "Leadership Constable! I bring news! We require all of you at once!" One Crimus soldier cried out. Victus narrowed his eyes and turned to Sertum. Victus and the Auditors marched their way to a different room showcasing the events outside of the planet. Victus rubbed his temples at this sight. HarkArk was at it again. Victus turned to the messenger. "Bastards are coming in, they know where we are. How." Victus demanded.
"I don't know sir, HarkArk's Intelligence might be the suspect."
"That is impossible, we disrupted their espionage efforts since last week, do you mean to tell me there was a fallacy in our security?" Victus questioned.
"There shouldn't be sir, we had secured lines all over the Galaxy. There was no way-
"Forget it." Victus sighed and walked up to the Auditors. "I guess you were right about one thing, but now we have a major situation on our matters. Auditor Sertum, we must alarm the Military Emperium, protect Zeruel!" Victus said. Sertum nodded. "I will. Report to the Richter, he must know of this at once." He said as Victus responded. Sertum was at a lost, they were here and somehow located them. Mariahlus let this info overload her thoughts.
"Why? Not now, just when things were getting better." Mariahlus shook her head in disappointment, crossing her forearms.
...
The Grand Armada arrived in storms, ship by ship warped out and into the Zeruel System, "SOCOM reporting in, we have no visuals on Crimson Son activity. Stay alert and format our squadrons."
The squadron strikers arrived in doves, ready to form the defensive line in case things got jumpy.
"How about activity of the Planet?" An Admiral questioned.
"I still have no visuals, no heat signatures, no stealth readability. Nothing."
"Not even settlements?"
"Negative Sir."
Harken Saw clasped his hands and narrowed his eyes, surely they would come out and play after finally locating them. All fleets corresponding would heard the radio chatter. Kira was also suspicious of these non activities. Fleets of differing styles widened the gaps and stared at the planet that was Zeruel. Bruta, Ject, and Elli focused on any hostiles.
Varn was siting in the tank, doing a final diagnostics check as he felt the ship slow down. "I think we just jumped to Zeruel."
---
"Sir, the jump was successful and we are right next to the Archius. Awaiting orders."
Seth looked at the map displaying the positions of Saw's armada "Maintain distance and prepare for any possible action. I have a bad feeling about this."
((What horrible timing - I'm in the middle of an essential study session/online exam for my German class. Won't be finished for another few hours!))
Iska came in through the tower hatch, stowing the peacemaker on the wall of the tanks interior.
She handed Varn a bottle of bloodmoon strong. "Here, is Iskas last on ship." she said whilst opening her own. Iska check around as she sat in the tank that everything she could need was there from weapons to tools to ammunition. "Iska hear we jump to planet, but apparently is empty." she explanied, taking a big chug out of the bottle.

[Dude, I'm just about to go to sleep. You'll catch up. Besides, studies are more important than this RP.]
While disappointed in the fact that they weren't able to confront the Archius Crew back at Termina, the Golden Wave had accepted HarkArk's offer to fight against the Son. "Make sure we keep up with the other ships. We wouldn't want to miss this.", Lagul said to not only the crew and staff of her ship, but to all the ships of the Wave.

Dwan didn't know how long he was out, but he didn't care. He knew he'd be late. He slowly woke up, still hurting from the experience. His incantation was slowly healing him back to full health, but he wondered if he would regenerate fast enough. He tried to pull himself off the ground, but the attempt failed. He left like he was boiling from the inside. He flopped onto his back, looking into the endlessness of the omniverse.
As he lied on the floor, he wondered about a topic that was plaguing him; his own mortality. For most of his life, he had been told by his parents that one day, he would be immortal, just like them. Because of that and his upbringing, he felt like he could just go off and die, because he was just destined to become immortal. He never made any close connections, closest being really close acquaintances. It wasn't until he met Dey that he had gained his first true friend. And his death signified the first time someone Dwan cared about died. An experience that shook him to his core. At this moment, he realized something. He remembered something Dey had told him before; "One truely dies only once they felt like they were satisfied with their life.", a saying Dwan never really understood until now.
He could've saved Dey that day, but what if Dey didn't want to be saved? Dey always politely refused any caldic offers from Dwan, opting to take the normal way to do something. He realized that Dey was teaching him a lesson; to accept the consequences of life, to not go around them with the loophole that was caldiur. Dey could've easily written Dwan a message, telling him that he wanted him to use his powers... but he didn't. Dwan remembered his rage against Rask and how he wanted to torture him with his powers just for messing with his bar, but he realized that was a petty reason to torture someone for. His rage had all but vanished at this point, and he thought about what would've happened if he went through it. He would've used all he had to torture Rask, practically killing him, but keeping him alive in the process. He thought about the screams he would've heard, the terror he would've caused. He didn't want to do that anymore.
Dwan finally learned the lesson Dey was trying to teach him.... and, in the process, finally accepted what happened all those years ago. He wept. As he did, he noticed that he had healed enough to use a more powerful healing spell to fully heal himself up. Wiping the tears away, he got himself up and did just that. He was back to full health, just like that. He walked on the planet, looking at the crack he had made, before turning to face the mechs he had created, unharmed by the experience. He looked at his left hand, before making a fist from it. He felt stronger caldically somehow, as if he had leveled up from not just the experience, but also the acceptance of fate. He knew he could portal all the mechs to Zeruel now. All he needed now..... was a location.
Dwan started the incantation for the universe traveling incantation, but not without accidentally adding the hasten incantation on top of it. Dwan closed his eyes, concentrating his hand on the spot where the portal was going to be. A few minutes pass and Dwan opened his eyes to see..... nothing. There were no blue flames on the ground and there was no portal. Dwan started to freak out, wondering if his caldiur got fucked up from the experience. Suddenly, he felt a sharp strike to his heart, followed by a wave of caldiur covering him all over. He took a second to breath, before straightening himself up. He wondered what that was about. He then tried to grab something, and as he did, his hand went through the floor. Dwan was surprised by this and pulled back his hand. Dwan tried to walk, but his foot did the same thing as his hand. Dwan then realized that he had added the hasten incantation in the mix.
"[Maybe....]", Dwan thought to himself, as he got to his knees. He then shoved his head into the ground. On the other side, he saw that he was within the counter, right next to his arsenal. He pulled his head back out. "[Holy shit. This is one of the rare cases where Hasten actually changes the incantation it is used with slightly!]", Dwan yelled aloud to himself. There was no portal anymore.... he had absorbed it! Dwan felt slightly strained, which he concluded was because spells that are altered by Hasten and not just sped up cause high strain if used for the first time. "[So... it seems that I can just walk into a universe now. Seems like only I can use it though, unless I touch something and pull it in with me. I wonder if...]", Dwan said, as he tried to reverse the spell. He then felt another wave of caldiur hit him. He ran in the direction of a wall. He runs into it. "[...Alright, now it doesn't do that anymore. So, it should do...]", Dwan said, as he grabbed a pebble and threw it into him. The pebble went into him and presumably went to another universe. "[This is amazing.... but it hurts too much to use right now.]", Dwan concluded, before turning off the Hasten spell. He pointed to the floor once more, waiting for a portal to appear. Soon enough, it appeared and he went through.
Dwan was back at his quarters. He looked through his peephole and saw the bar was empty. He snuck out and headed to the bridge.
"It sounds like it's quiet. Don't like it when it's quiet." Varn took a swig from the Bloodmoon strong. "Oh man, this is strong. Better than coffee."
Viper waited within it's personal quarters, contemplating it's thoughts for one last time before the call to battle was battled across the ship's channels and it's members engaged in one last fight for vengeance against this elusive adversary.
It's mind was mostly filled with horrors of war, both it's immediate and prolonged effects on the ones that have participated in.
Viper knew of both too well from it's own personal experience and ever after this grand invasion, what lied next in the Sanghvi's path?
How many more must give their own lives in the call of duty? How many more will they take to fulfill said duty?
This quandary was cut short as the Sanghvi felt the hull of the Archius XI leave the warp and enter back into the real space as the Implant warned Viper half an second later that they had reached their target.
the Sanghvi did not hesitate, it pick itself up and walked towards the bridge, ready bust into an mad dash of their enemy had planed a welcoming committee but as Viper entered the Archius's bridge, that party must surely be taking it's time.
"Sir, Security officer Solari at your command." Viper said as it gave Lion an Terrain salute before walking across the bridge to view the data desk. "It seems that have reached Saw's destination as the rest of our comrades but the planet that lies ahead of us is devoid of any noticeable signatures...Run additional scans?" Viper asked as put it's put it's frontal claws onto the edges of the table, leaning inwards and overlooked the rest of the table.
"Report." Said Lion as the ship jumped into the system with a loud bang. Sheila shook her head. "No groundside activity. The rest of the fleet are holding."
Lion nodded and walked up to the holotable. "Make sure to keep all the lines open." Suddenly Viper walked in and reported for duty.
"Wouldn't do much anyways, our scanners aren't good enough." Said Lion as he answered Viper's question.
He then opened up the PA channel. "Crew, this is Lion speaking. As most of you know, we just reached Zeruel. We don't know when the Crimson Son will show their ugly face nor do we know how many they'll be. But, I do know one thing: we're in this together. As long as we stand together we will win this. Why? Because we fight for the good of the galaxy. For our families. Friends. Our fallen comrades. Gear up and head to your designated positions. Viper, Iska, Varn, Dwan and Pippin are to report to the hangar.
Good luck to us all." Lion went for the hangar.
-----
"Admiral, we just got the signal. They've made the jump." Reported one of the officers.
The admiral nodded. "Form up the fleet and prepare for a synchronized jump. Make sure that our IFF's are on, otherwise Saw and his boys will light us up like a damn christmas tree." Said the general with a heavy accent.
One of the officers nodded and started yelling out orders. Immeadiately the entire fleet sprung to life and entered a chevron formation.
"This is Nessie, ready for jump."
One by one the other fleet ships formed up and reported their status.
The officer looked at the admiral who nodded in response. "Jumping in three... two... one... jump!"
A blue jumpwindow opened up which swallowed the entire fleet as they flew in.
Dwan heard the report and headed back to the bar. Dwan knew he had to do one last thing before heading out. He grabbed his Howitzer, snuck into his quarters and opened a portal back to his pad. Back at his pad, he headed to his workplace and placed his Howitzer on his table. He used his powers to disassemble it, before using the best materials he had on hand to reinforce the inside of the backpack and the artillery sections. He then added a few new tricks to the thing; he added the ability to shoot plasma, laser and electricity, as well as a jetpack. Whilst the plasma and laser modes are pretty self-explanatory, the electric mode has a special bonus. It would shoot electricity while the howitzer was in firing mode, but when it wasn't, when activated, a shield made out of an electromagnetic field would be generated. The electric mode was mostly inspired by Lion's LWA Technical Error. The jetpack feature would be added to the backpack and allow for faster movement and higher jumps. Having finished his work, he returned back to his quarters and out of the bar.
He took off his clothes and put on the undersuit of his armor, before putting on the LWA armor itself. He put "Aeducan's Blazing Howitzer" on his back, two holsters for "Andrast" and the "Bellevue Ancaria", as well as his LWA Vibrosword's scabbard and his LWA Second Horseman on his armor belt, and his LWA Texas Ranger and his Rigel crossbow in the backpack section of his Howitzer, individually placed in a manner that would allow him to grab either quickly. He then went to the armory to get himself fully loaded, before heading for the hangar.
The silence has gone noticed among the grand armada, Privateers interrupting one another.
"Mr. Saw, we're going to initiative an defensive position. The lack of activity in this area is suspicious and we cannot allow troops to land right this instant." Lt General Brigg said to him.
"Landing in Zeruel right away would cost our advantage. I agree and confident of this decision." Harken Saw said.
"Plus this might be a trap, we stand our guard and we'll be ready for them."
"Iska and me are already in the hangar, captain. We will wait for you."
"Good to hear." Said Lion while knocking twice on the tank. "Briefing in ten." He activated the lower hangar lifts, the three platforms started ascending into the main hangar area where Roughrider and Ranger were already positioned. Lion noted that Viper had done a superb job readying Talon and Eagle while Iska and Varn had obviously spent alot of time prepping Jaegermeister.
He walked up to Ranger first and made sure it was ready before checking Roughrider. When Lion was pleased he sat down on a box next to Roughrider.
Dwan walked up to Lion and got up real close. "The mechs are ready. I just need to deploy them.", Dwan whispered to Lion.
Pippin hurried down to the hangar. He looked around at the others already there. "Does anyone know what's happening out there?" He had expected the sounds of battle, or something, but instead it was eerily sillent.
Lion nodded before handing over a small case which contained several tiny orbs. "These are signal orbs, toss 'em out and they'll mask your portals. Incase you want to be more discreet."
Before Lion could continue, Pippin came rushing into the hangar. "Take it easy, there's no planetside activity so right now we're just preparing for them to reveal their location."
"Huh. These will be useful, thanks.", Dwan said, as he put the case within his backpack. "Do we have details on what kind of planet Zeruel is?", Dwan asked.
[Doom what does the planet look like?]
"Unsure, I think the terrain is rocky with mixed arid and lush regions." Said Lion.
[Literally a barren planet, rocky terrain]
"Knowing the gearboxes, probably a death world. Somewhere where no sane person would build a settlement on."

Seth observed the positions on the planetary map. The silence was getting to him. "I don't like this. It's too quiet. We need to know if there is anything that the Son have between us and the planet."
Noble stood up from his seat. "Sir, what about that Orka, the others came with?"
"What about it?"
"Well, we can use it as a way to check if the Son have defenses. Just have someone pilot it from the fleet to the surface as a scout. It's large enough to be picked up by planetary defenses, but quick enough for evasive maneuvers."
"You do realize that someone has to pilot that hunk of scrap. It didn't come with an auto-pilot."
"That's why we send Bromun's last asskisser on it. He doesn't need to know."
A sinister smile formed on Seth's face. "Noble, you are one evil motherfucker. Alright, get high command on the line and request clearance to send that ship to the surface as a scout."
The men in charge of communications scrambled to get in contact with high command.
