"Dully noted. Gabriel, boot up the tank's main gun control." The AI did just that. "Now show me what the camera on it shows." Varn's HUD began to display an image broadcasted from the external camera on the tank. "This will either be amazing or very stupid. If this actually connects, I'm buying everyone something expensive to drink." He aimed at one of the gun emplacements. "Pippin, keep try to keep it steady." He fired. --- "Fenrir 2 and 4, fire at my and Ranger's targets. Let's give our boys in space some breathing room." The fighters unleashed barrages of rockets at the enemy emplacements.
pippin tried to to maneuver the ship to be as small a target as possible to the enemy weapons
"Roger Captain but you're playing an dangerous gambit here Captain but no risk, no reward as you terrains tend to say." Viper said as the Talon dive through the seemly impenetrable energy field covering the entire world. The Talon lined up in formation with the Ranger and Eagle, facing towards exposed gun emplacement. "Firing!" Viper said as lazed the massive cannon with thermal lasers as it charged the Talon's rail gun. --- The sight around Zeruel was grim to say the least as it filed with burning wreckage from both the countless drones and destroyed battleships, star fuel slowly lingered throughout burnt remains of fighter vessels both large and small with their pilots trailing beside them. Zeruel's defensive lasers cut though the wreckage cluttering their targets to reach those who still live among the stars above, determined to stop their invaders cold in their tacks before they can even land an boot on the rock above them. And in an flash, an battle group warped close towards the planet, it's Carriers and Armored Cruisers were right on top of the planet's south pole as other jumped at the north. Their hulls bared familiar iconography as their ship sat above the planet for an moment before launching dozens of large spire like projectiles onto the planet, escorted by countless corvettes and heavy fighters till their reach the target's surface. "Mr. Saw, This is Alpha one. Commanding officer of the Alpha Phalanx battle group and acting liaison for this squadron of the Olympian Fleet, we shall be striking these points on the plant. We recommend that you tell your forces to keep out of our way as our Argos operatives proceed with their duties, Thank you for your cooperation." Alpha one said over an private frequency towards the Termina Central directed to Saw himself fallowed by an trail of data to Privateer command.
Shortly after penetrating the shield, the Belladonna was picked up by ground defense radar. Within moments, a SAM was launched to destroy the vessel as it plunged into the atmosphere, its underbelly scorched by the enormous speed and friction against the atmosphere. On the bridge, the crewmembers gathered to watch the scene unfold as the carnival of lights erupted around them- bombs falling, tracers flying in every direction, and burning wreckage plunging to the rocky surface painted a chaotic scene. A chime alerted them that the artificial gravity had been disengaged due to their closing proximity with the surface, and suddenly they realized the imminent danger of the anti-air defenses. Neasha grit her teeth as the surface speed of the craft declined under drag, and kept a firm grasp on the stick to minimize the ship's cross section. The throttle was wide open; but she wasn't sure how fast it could actually fly. "Keep us over Mach 3," Rask said as he monitored the radar. "We've got a missile closing on us but I think we can outrun it." "I can't hold this speed forever," Neasha managed to say, "if I pull up we'll lose it-" "I see it," Rask replied, motioning at the falling altimeter. "We're gonna run outa fuckin' sky here if we're not careful. Virin, Yanim?" "It's too far away from us, we can't even see it!" Virin answered. Before anything else could be done, a second missile appeared and locked onto the ship from the right side in the distance ahead of the ship. Neasha reflexively jerked the stick into a banking left turn, throwing her crewmates from their feet. Rask grunted as he laboriously climbed to his feet against the G-forces and checked the radar console. "Impact in 20 seconds, and watch the damned altitude, serek!" The ship was buffeting hard as Virin helped hoist Yanim back to her feet, where she caught sight of the radar screen herself and went wide-eyed, recognizing a certain pattern State Naval College had taught her about radar systems. "Neasha, bank right, now!" she cried, and as the pilot obeyed without time to question, the nature of the trap had become clear- the pattern of the two missiles were designed to force the ship to turn left so a third missile could catch it in the center of a triangle. Sure enough, another missile appeared on the radar. Rask, barely holding onto the console as the ship rocked over its Z-axis, only had time to call out "Shnka!" as the dot appeared. Seconds later, the second missile narrowly missed the Belladonna, exploding into a ring of shrapnel just behind the tail of the vessel where it could do no harm. But now, as the ship had lost speed during the turns, the first missile was now closing fast, and would do so even faster as Neasha had no more room to dive. With the first and third missiles now falling into line behind the Belladonna, the crew needed a plan- something drastic and unusual. Yanim ran some calculations in her augmented mind, and realized they had the chance to employ a desperate tactic. "Neasha, on my mark, engage the warp drive." "What!?" "I know it won't work, but it'll create a distortion field nonetheless. The missiles have us on radar but if we bend space then they'll follow the bending light and miss us." "That's insane!" Rask spat. "We need to bail." "Not at this speed," Yanim replied, remembering her study work from designing the Valkyrie. "We'd be killed by the air itself. This is the plan, understood?" "Godsdammit!" Neasha reached for the warp toggle and awaited Yanim's order. The missiles closed to within a dangerous following distance. "Now!"
The Ranger sped past the shield and maneuvered around the enemy fire and truckloads of debris. "Forget about that, if we get close enough we can tae them out. All fighters form up, Roughrider hang back for one minute." Lion continued to push on down towards the surface and spotted a gun emplacement partially obscured by some rocks. "Launch!" He yelled as several rockets went for the bunkered up gun.
Mini Roll[2]: Lion was confident in his own skill and ship that he could take those gun emplacements he immediately aimed and fired many rockets at the large structures. ... "Ciera, I need your help!" A private said firing blindly as chaos loomed above. She saw what he meant as many fighters swarmed the area but went down as fast as they came. "You are a Sync right?!" He said out load. Ciera quickly nodded, "I am. The Synergy Optimal has granted me the Conduit's gift." "Then use it to save our men! We're counting on you!" He acted fast as turrets found a unique squadron threatening their defenses. Ciera kneed down as she concentrated. She rose to her feet and extended her arms above, hearing the requiem of annihilation coming. Debris fell from the sky and this was an opportunity a Sync could take. Her arms glowed a bright purple, tendrils coming out of her finger tips as she made the ground shake, large object collided with each other to form even bigger objects. She placed the transformed debris beside and saw the rockets go for their position. She stopped the rockets dead in her track and crushed down, exploding with no contact. Now was her time, she reached out the debris and hauled it at the invaders. Razor Squadron barely saw their own side's remains before getting thrashed left and right as their fighters flew back, exploding as all systems went critical. She hauled another set of debris at the Ranger, denting the frontal hull with ease, while her comrades assisted in fighting other strikers. "You must leave, they will bomb this area no matter what cost." Ciera turned to the private. The private shook his head. "I can't." "Go. You are needed elsewhere I promise you." She told him. The private stared at her as he took off his helmet. "You are a brave soldier, I will never forget this." The private got out of the emplacement and took cover, going to the tunnels as Ciera was willing to fight them all.
He aimed at one of the gun emplacements. "Pippin, keep try to keep it steady." He fired.
Mini Roll Critical Failure[1] The Jaegermeister's main gun loaded as Varn attempted to steady the shot as close as possible. The Crimus's gun emplacements were quick and weren't limited, this was their territory and HarkArk is going to learn a lesson in that. A dozen guns were unloading shells at the Roughrider, so impressive that the tank, so shockingly detached from Roughrider, falling into the barren rocks!
pippin tried to to maneuver the ship to be as small a target as possible to the enemy weapons
Mini Roll[5]: Pippin maneuvered the ship to make it a small target but its efforts didn't change the results, nothing.
The Talon lined up in formation with the Ranger and Eagle, facing towards exposed gun emplacement. "Firing!" Viper said as lazed the massive cannon with thermal lasers as it charged the Talon's rail gun.
Mini Roll[7] Viper fully charged the Talon's rail cannon seeing the men arming the gun emplacements. The rail cannon fired with a shattering bang, decimating a group.
"Godsdammit!" Neasha reached for the warp toggle and awaited Yanim's order. The missiles closed to within a dangerous following distance. "Now!"
Mini Roll Critical Success[9]: Her plan of action was desperate at best and suicidal at worst. But given the risk she was up for anything, the warp drive activated without fuss. The two missiles as a miracle managed to miss, the crew braced for the force as they maneuvered out of that area to gain their breath. The missiles flew to the nearest ground, misfiring at their own men. ... Meanwhile at another garrison point. "This is Colonel Ial-1032, unidentified fleets are outside our atmosphere. We will maintain the area and make sure none of them come near here. The SACs are up and ready. We will not stop until these pests will be distinguished."
It was a guess, but it had been a good guess. Just as Yanim had hoped would happen, the warp drive achieved spatial distortion but were unable to achieve full warp- the result was a several second-long bulge in space behind the Belladonna on which light danced like reflections in a soap bubble. The radar systems aboard the two anti-air missiles never lost their lock, but their target appeared to veer radically off center, and so they veered as well, missing the craft completely and slamming into the ground instead as the Belladonna charged away at just over Mach 2.1. Yanim, having witnessed the effect with her own eyes thanks to her neural link to the machine guns' optics, burst out in cackling laughter as she had while static-testing the ATD long before. Neasha glared at her- "are we done?" she demanded. "How many times are we going to risk our lives today?" "I told you what would happen and it happened," Yanim shot back, triumphantly, hiding the fact that she had been slightly uncertain of whether the warp engines would engage at all. "We're doing well, Neasha, stay focused; I'm counting on you." "Eh, I'm counting on you," Neasha mimicked sarcastically with a grimace. "We need to find the rallying point," Virin interjected. "Where's the wing leader for our unit?" "Uh... We're 20km off course," Rask responded. "I just put the LZ on your HUD, serek. Can you see it?" "I've got a name, kanad," Neasha spat, bitterly. "Yeah, I see the landing zone. But we're not landing, are we boss?" "Not yet," Yanim answered. "Laser cannon ahead," Rask warned. "Virin, you've got this one?" Virin nodded and answered in the affirmative. The gun appeared in his sights and he fired a barrage from the autocannon.
[Well shit ] "Crap. Gabriel, activate the tank's hover engines before it falls too far."
Iska felt the whole ship shake as it was bombarded. She gripped the handles to the cannon controls to remain standing. Suddenly, all kinds of lights and alarms went off. Iska looked over to see that the tank had dettached from the bottom of the vessel. She reached over to the comms to the front and began shouting, "What are you two doing shtuki ja bljudit shast yi blyaaaaat". She ran over to the console that was monitoring the jaegermeisters systems. Horrified, she watched its top speed rising as it fell to the surface.
Viper pressed on behind the Ranger as pieces of various debris from cliff rocks to metal wreckage from destoyed fighters belong to both parties flew into the frontal hull of the Ranger, the Talon came out from unexpected attack unscathed which couldn't be said for the Ranger. Nevertheless, Viper took lead and line up it's targeting computer onto the new threat. The result was even more puzzling than the bizarre nature of the surprise attack that wipe out an friendly fighter squadron in a single moment. It's an soft-carbon hovering above the ground with large objects circling around her, ready to thrown at a moment notice if Viper's estimate was correct as they were the same kind of miscellaneous debris that ended the unfortunate squadron. "Captain we have an...Rather unexpected element." Viper said over the coms in an confused tone while marking it on the Ranger's HUD before continuing to aimed it's missiles and configuring them to burst mid air in font of the target, hoping at best to exploited an potential weakness in her ability of telekinesis if possible but it was impossible to find out what extent of control the soft-carbon has over multiple objects at just an glance. Also at worse, the warheads payload shouldn't enough mass and velocity to penetrate the nano steel hull of the armored fighters if she was to send them back to the sender, hopefully anyways. "Firing, 12 50mm HEDP missile on mid air burst at the target. Recommend keep distance." Viper spoke as the launchers left off an barrage of ordinance at the soft-carbon, each missile was programed with an individual course towards her. Some went full speed in an straight line while some zing-zaged from left to right, some even blasted straight into the sky before coming back down towards the target. This wasn't so much an coordinated and decisive strike but an test to see the extent of her capabilities and hopefully, find an weakness in the target while Viper put most of it's attention towards evasive maneuvers as the missiles did their work. --- On the Argos side of the invasion, their forces were taking substantial but planed loss as the first wave of Athena Heavy Cruisers took the blunt of the planetary defenses as their corvettes were worked to their limits in distributing firepower to cover the landing spires from being basted to ribbons by the swarms of automated fighters to let them be basted to ribbons by the defense lasers coming from the surface instead. Just as an beam cuts through the outer hull and ignited the reactor core of an Hephaestus class frigate, another wave of Heavy Cruisers and carriers with an Destroyer escort warped over several other points throughout the planet just as one of the framed and mightily Ares class battleship warps in the opposite direction of Termina Central on other side of the planet above the Alpha, Gamma and Tau battlegroups that made up the the Olympian fleet's presence in this operation. "Good to see you finally station to station, Mr. Saw." Alpha spoke again in his frequency directed towards Saw in rather sly tone.
The Ranger shook as the debris made contact with the hull. Luckily, Lion managed to keep the ship stable. Before he could yell out new orders, the entire Razor squadron went red on the HUD as a large chunk of debris collided with the nimble fighters. "Shit! Razor squadron is dwn, all fighters fan out!" As the formation kept going, Viper took the lead and marked a target of high importance. "All units focus fire on the selected mark, Fenrir squadron, arm bunkerbusters." Lion himself was already spinning up the nosegun which began spitting out thousands of projectiles at the figure underneath the purple bubble. Just as he began firing, he recieved a signal. "Looks like the cavalry is here." The silence of space was broken as large blue jumphole opened up. Out came first several frigates, crusiers and carriers but then a loud bang was heard as a supersized battlecruiser bristling with weapons took up the rear of the fleet. Broadcasting IFF's on the HarkArk fleet's frequencies, the sound of a man coughing could be heard on the shared communications channel. "Attention all friendly vessels, this is admiral Ivan Zhaneys, commander of the Sol Office of Intelligence and Defense fleet and captain of the Sol Naval Vessel Mjolnir. We are here to help." Before anyne could respond, the impressive fleet took up a blockade formation to the right of the HarkArk fleet while thousands of ships started pouring out. First out were the SDF fighter sorties consisting of SDF Sentinels and SDF Warriors, followed by SDF Archer bomber crafts and Adeptor dropships. "All formations hold spacing and reeady weapons. Enemy gun emplacements are top priority, take them out one by one and watch the crossfire. Good luck and may Terra be with you." Said the admiral. As ordered, the ships formed up with the dropships hanging back in the rear. Formation after formation passed the shield and begun supporting the HarkArk-backed forces. "Today we make history." Said Zhaneys.
"Any of our ships strong enough to survive some of the enemies fire?"
Virin nodded and answered in the affirmative. The gun appeared in his sights and he fired a barrage from the autocannon.
Mini Roll[5]: As he fired a barrage from the ship's autocannon the laser emplacement below also fired, clashing beam to beam as overall no hit landed between the two.
[Well shit ] "Crap. Gabriel, activate the tank's hover engines before it falls too far."
Mini Roll[3]: Before Gabriel could activate any of the hover engines, Ciera was able to hold the tank using her Sync abilities. She used both arms as she could feel pressure against the metal, crumbling down into scrap. She saw a pirate ship and hauled the tank at it, colliding with the ship as both caused a chain reaction of explosions.
"Firing, 12 50mm HEDP missile on mid air burst at the target. Recommend keep distance." Viper spoke as the launchers left off an barrage of ordinance at the soft-carbon, each missile was programed with an individual course towards her.
Mini Roll[3]: The Talon's missiles were launched at her position, she was already exhausted by the overload but now she must do another task once again. She stopped the missiles dead in their tracks but instead of doing anything she simply dissembled them, not wanting to cause any strain on her own body. She saw gun emplacements target at the Talon with SAMs, placing missiles at the enemy's part. "Sgt. Ciera you have done well, let us help!" A voice said under the bunker.
Lion himself was already spinning up the nosegun which began spitting out thousands of projectiles at the figure underneath the purple bubble.
Mini Roll[6] Just before she began to leave another ship has decided to target her as a main priority, she braced for impact as her shield attempted to protect her from the array of gunpower. Due to her exhaustion and strain she was too weak to fully protect herself. She was barely able to withstand the guns. ... "This is High Command, we have successfully installed a fortress in Zeruel named Fort Blaze, all units in that area defend this area! We have incoming hostiles at our gates! Let the Sol Army deal with the emplacements."
Varn was beginning to reach a boiling point because of that one asshole on the ground. "I'm gonna tear those fuckers apart when we land." --- "Roger that Ranger. Fenrir 2 and 4 launch your ordinance." "Uhh, Fenrir 1, which one was that?" "Remember that button Mercury told you not to push unless you were 100% sure that it would hit a target, Fenrir 4? Hit it you idiot!" A few seconds later the three remaining Fenrir fighters launched their bunkerbusters aimed at the enemy positions. "Well done boys, we're going back to-What the?" Fenrir 1 was cut off as the chain of explosions got near him and damaged his wing. "Damn it, this is Fenrir 1, I'm hit! Going down! You two return to formation and follow Ranger. I'm gonna land this the one way I can." The pilot spotted 2 cannons aiming at the Sol ships. He fired what he had at them and aimed to crash right into them. --- The Fang had breached the atmosphere a few seconds following the Sol fleet. It took a few stray shots that had missed the other ships but it's shields would hold. Under orders from Seth they would land at Fort Blaze and to move out. As soon as they landed the hangar door opened and several tanks and armored APC trucks rolled out to help the defenses.
[um, you guys need a medic?]
[Maybe?]
"Scratch one!" Yelled Lion as the ship passed over his latest target. Suddenly the holoprojector came online and showed the face of admiral Zhaneys with a big smile on his face. "Commander, it's been far too long. I didn't know what to believe when I received your message alongside the data transmission." "Trust me admiral, had I been in your position I would've doubted some of it myself. Either way, I'm glad you're here. Say, is McKenzie with you?" The admiral nodded. "He's leading a squadron of ace pilots trying to locate the shield generator, so far they've only found enemy bunkers." Lion nodded as he circled the battlefield with his ship. "Keep me posted." The hologram disappeared and Lion opened up the crew channel. "Alright squadron, we're gonna split up. Those of you who want are to follow Roughrider to the new firebase. The rest of you will join the Sol squadrons and protect the heavy bombers. Good luck." After the message Lion broke off and went for the base. He landed next to a SDF dropship. "Come on Dwan, we're moving out."
Dwan came down from the turret. "Lead the way.", Dwan told Lion.
Pippin saw as a few of the friendly ships broke off and began to follow him. (Are we past the shield yet?)
Pippin saw as a few of the friendly ships broke off and began to follow him. (Are we past the shield yet?)
[We passed that around 2 combat rolls ago.]
Utilizing the plasma burst-fire mode, Virin fired, but the opposing laser cannon responded in kind to the Belladonna and the two beams clashed and diffused each other in mid air. "It shot back; oufeh! [yikes!]" Virin was taken aback by the close-call. "Bring me around, I think I can knock it out with flak-" "No, hold on," Neasha interrupted as she listened to the comm. Orders came down from the Privateers for all local ships to defend a position known as Fort Blaze which had been established within the LZ. At the speed they were traveling, they would arrive in roughly a minute, but they would need to slow down to enable Yanim and Virin to jump. "[Gat, get out here,]" Yanim called. A moment later she arrived from the medical bay. "<Is someone hurt?>" she asked. "[No; Virin and I are about to jump out and I need you to take over on the machine guns. Rask is going to operate the autocannon until the point we need bombs-]" <Wait, wait! I don't know how they work!>" "[You point the things at bad people and pull the damn trigger, what's not to get you ditz?]" Rask barked. The Belladonna made a wide sweep around Fort Blaze at low altitude; there were hundreds of Crimson Son grunts trying to close in on the perimeter, being held off by the defenders valiantly. "[Look down the sights, they're electronic and do all the calculations for you,]" Yanim hastily explained. "[That cross is where the rounds are going to land. Use this stick to move it; keep it centered on enemy troops. When you're ready, pull the trigger.]" Gataska clumsily jerked the stick at first, but then understood the subtle force needed to keep the crosshair on the targets below. Taking shallow, uneven breaths, she squeezed the trigger when she believed she had a shot.
"Roger Captain, I'll stay in the air as long as I can to provide air cover for the Roughrider and mark out targets for your forces, good luck on the ground Sir." Viper said over the comms as the Talon flew past the ranger and arrived in font of the Roughrider. Scanning for targets and potential threats as they fly towards the newly established Fort Blaze, letting the Sol forces occupy the role of ground attacks and bunker busting while Viper let the Talon's system cool down. --- "Heh, Fortune favours the bold.." Red muttered under his breath as he felt the vessel he was on depart from the warp jump, standing up straight with an rifle in hand and in full gear like usual with his brothers and sisters in same position beside him. An security harness keeping him still within the zero gravity environment of the landing spire, the feeling of the impacts hitting the outer hull as well as the lack of sound did little to frightened the operatives as did the prospect of injury or death, all that mattered to them was the objective. The time until the Carrier had reach it's destination was only that an few moments but as this invasion had proved, more lives have been lost in less. An loud thumb hit the ship as it entered the planet's lower thermosphere, to say that this was risking drop was putting it lightly to any sane individual but was par of course for an panther operative and just another day in Red's boots. "Gamma One...Activated...Deployed." An primitive robotic announcer spoke over loudspeaker in an deafening loud and deep monotone voice that echoed throughout the cargo hold of Carrier as it entered the planet's mesosphere, just right above the planet's defense shield and once it pierced the shroud, the spire basted it's one use engines to gain enough velocity and speed to avoid the drones. The pressure caused the interior of landing spire to rumble and violently jerk as well as rest of the hold as the spire plummeted towards Zeruel's surface followed by an squadron of heavy fighters went to escort them on their trip down under. "Gamma Two....Activated....Deployed." The announcer spoke again as another spire was dropped onto the planet shortly before an defensive laser burned middle section of the recently deployed spire into ash with it's other component falling helpless onto the rocky landscape, shattering like glass as they hit unforgiving surface of this world. "Gamma Th-" The machine tired to speak as the Carrier took an devastating blast towards it's lower mid section but due to Odysseus engineering and fact of over 50,000 tons of harden armor and shields systems pushed to the absolute limit, the relatively light Carrier held together and pushed on with it's mission but unfortunately, several fairly important parts of the cargo weren't as lucky. "Gamma Three...Unresponsive....Deployed." It said before it released several tons of molten slag and blacken steel onto rocks from it's Mag locks and continued it's duty as several crimson Son drone formations fire their payloads into the carriers engines, slowing making the giant descend deeper into orbit as both it's drive systems failed and the planet's gravity pulling the ship down into the planet's shield. "Gamma Four...Error....Nonexistent." It said when that part of hanger was missing like the rest of it's engineering and control departments as another beam slice horizontally across it's hull as the drones used their own vessels to damaged the Carrier after expending everything they had. "Gamma Five.....Activated.....Deployed." The automated announcer said in it's final moments as another beam finished the job and dealt the killing blow to Carrier just after it's last spire fell through the shield and towards the LZ. "Hell, it's about time.." Red remarked as his spire hit the surface the planet, penetrating deep into the planet's crust and stabilizing itself in place before it flashed an plasma barrier of own to protect itself, from massive velocity gain from entry and the spire's powerful laser drill, Argos had successfully breached the second line of Crimson Son underground defense network of fortifications and emplacements as more unrelenting waves of spires hit their targets while Red and rest of the occupants rushed to action after their harness detached. Rushing boldly into the labyrinth without fear nor hesitation to slow them down but only the Crimson Son first responders standing in their way, rushing their way out of their gunnery and security stations, laying in wait to engage the intruders while Argos soldiers poured out of their spires by the dozen.
(sorry, I was a bit confused.)
Iska watched the systems terminal as it blinked. Signal loss \\: Termination. Iska let out a loud scream of fury before punching the screen, shattering it. The tank was rubble, the peacemaker was gone, along with the LWA Iska and now she only had the Volgrim left. She picked it up and stormed into the cockpit. She kicked Varns chair, her usual blue skin color was turning redish and her eyes had started to faintly glow red. "[Just what in the name of everloving fuck are you two shitstains doing up here. The ships halfway scrapped and we lost the cargo, tank and ace.]" she snarled, so taken by anger that she forgot to speak english.
Oh boy. This was gonna be bad. Varn easily noticed that Iska was mad. But he hadn't seen her this mad. Gabriel managed to translate what she was yelling at him "I see that you're angry, so calm the fuck down! If you start swinging that thing around, we might as well be giving our asses to the Sun on a silver platter."
"I'm doing my best, I wouldn't exactly be my first choice for flying this thing either, but I'm not the one shot the tank..."
Iska looked at Varn, gritting her teeth and fished out a cigarette. She was leaving to go back to the cargo room when Pippin spoke up. Iska stopped in the door. "[You think saying this now will do you any good?]" Iska said in an annoyed tone, "[You get hurt, you constantly require help, you drop knives and cut yourself and always ask about the Major like a sniveling pup who has lost his mother]" she spat, taking a break to light her cigarette. "[What makes your sorry ass think you could pilot a motherfucking dropship?]" she concluded and left the cockpit.
"Yeah, I couldn't understand any of that, so I'm just going to assume you were aPOLIGIZINg!" Pippin raised his voice slightly as enemy fire flew past.
"The Rau Fleet and Defensive Lance are ready, Sertum its time." Victus spoke up but Sertum said nothing as he watched the screens live. "Not yet." Victus widened his eyes and marched his way to the Auditor. The Principal was most certainly infuriated he wasn't commanding. "Excuse me? There are three armadas attacking at our direction, our own won't last without other support!" Victus pointed above the room. Sertum admitted Victus was right but he knew what he was doing by delaying the Rau Fleet. However he wasn't planning on delaying other departments. Sertum rose from the table and saw each military leader in the room. "Release our air superiority. Authorize the Crimson Elite, the games end here." Sertum declared. The leaders kept their fist to their chest and bowed before contacting every network in the planet. As of now Zeruel was in total war, millions of units were dispatched throughout the entire states of conflict. Chaos spread across the barren land as the Crimus's Air Power has appeared from the ground, from fighters to airborne vessels. The edge was slowly pushing. ... Fort Blaze barely settled as a fortification was already getting hammered by tanks, soldiers, and fighters. The scenery was a bloodfest for every party to witness
"Shit shit shit! Are you guys seeing this?"
"She's really pissed, Pip. Just concentrate on flying this thing and landing it." Varn walked a few steps after Iska. He stopped and turned around. "And for the future. Don't yell at people who are known to tear others in half in a fit of rage." --- "I want those tanks pushing back the tide yesterday! Noble, send the heavy weapon teams forward and get snipers teams to assist the corsairs." He looked to the skies as they were filled with the Sun's newest surprise. "Saw, you better have another ace up that sleeve."
