[Varn was aiming at the elite, attacking Viper. Sorry if my post was vague about it.]
[That was the same Elite, he just switched to Dwan]
Dwan was breathing heavily, rushing to activate the incantation, as the Elite was shot in the head, piercing his helmet. With this distraction, Dwan rushed to grab Andrast and shoot the chump before the guy was shot once more. He plummeted to the ground next to Dwan, making a heavy thud in the process. Dwan took a moment to calm himself before he grabbed the broken bits of his Bellevue Ancaria and the Elite's chainsword.
Dwan quickly got up and rushed to Viper. He tried his best to help Viper get up and keep itself together. "Come on, Viper! You can beat this!", Dwan said, as he tried to get Viper moving.
---
The two Golden Wave groups received the message to fall back. "Move back, but keep aiming at the fuckers!", Lagul said, as the groups continued to fire at the Son as they headed to the far left of the cracks.
Lion yelled "Man down!" as he rushed towards Viper. He folded back the Last Stand and turned his hand into a precision laser. "Stay still!"
Lion motioned for Dwan to carefully put down Viper next to a scorched rock as he fumbled with his chestrig with the non-laser hand.
Eventually he found a canister of military garde biofoam which he handed to Dwan.
"I'm going to make a small cut around the damaged area, as soon as I pull away the laser you're gonna have to fill up the entire area with biofoam. It won't stop bullets but it'll keep him stabilized."
Dwan put down Viper as Lion asked him to, before being handed a canister. He then listened to what Lion had to say.
"A-alright!", Dwan said, as he got ready to help.
Bruta watched his masterpiece as several Brigade laid dead, he received the message and held the Gatling Plasma to the way. Elli and Ject were on the head start.
"Fuck that, man we're going through the belly of the beast. I don't think that's the worse the Crimson have in stored for us." Ject said as he tried to breath. Elli spotted two critical wounded people on the ground near. "I'll catch up, I need to do something."
"Babe, don't get into any trouble you hear me!" Ject said with anxiety. Bruta followed pursuit as he looked above the planet. A fucking disaster outside. "Let's hustle Ject, Elli's got this."
Elli rushed to Varn and saw his leg sawed in half. "I need two combat medics for this shit." She called in. She took a deep breath and worked.
Lion stared at Viper. "I'd lie if I said you won't feel anything. Just try to lie still."
He then turned hiz gaze to the crack in the armor which had managed to cause several microfractures along the Sanghvi shell.
The laser began eliminating any residue left by the weapons fire, first around the hole in the armor before moving on to the shell.
While working with the laser, Lion injected a fresh batch of medical nanobots which would help keep Viper stable once the biofoam was in place.
As Lion finished purifying and sealing up one of the bigger cracks he looked at Dwan and nodded.
He then turned off the laser and pulled away, giving Dwan enough space to use the biofoam.
"T-Thank you..Dwan." Viper muttered in it's shutter voice, it's implant baring some damage but unlike the rest of it's body, it wasn't in critical condition.
"Though..Please ma-make sure tha-that Varn's vitals a-secured as-well." Viper said as Lion rushed next to the injured Sanghvi.
"My..His leg..It's gone...His suit will-Will not hold hi-him from blood loss for long. His body-might..Shock.." It said as it's recoiled back in pain from the injection.
Dwan nodded back at Lion, as he began to use the biofoam. He first pulled the big safety lever on the canister, which unlocked the smaller level. He then pulled that lever to begin applying the biofoam. He applied it slowly and as calmly as he could to ensure he was doing it well. Soon, he filled up the entire area with biofoam.
"Don't worry, Viper.", he said, as he looked over to Varn. "He's being worked on at this very moment. You're both going to be fine.", he told Viper.
[Ahh, I see. Got confused there.]
Varn stopped shooting and the rage started to subside. He could feel the pain from his missing leg starting to build up. He let out two loud screams. One of joy that the elite was dead and one of utter pain as the pain reminded itself of it's presence.
Gabriel had activated the nanomachines in the armor to reduce the bleeding if not to stop it, but he had to face facts. His leg was gone and he was in grave danger to bleed out. He took out a stimpack from his belt and jabbed it straight in the port of his armor to buy himself some time. "If one of the medics could come and help us, that would be great."
He looked on as he recognized what the elite was fighting. It was Viper and the shape that she was in terrified him. They had their arguments and differences, but he felt several things. Anger at the Sun, anger at himself for letting this happen and remorse that Viper could be dead because of him.
A few moments later the medics were already there.
"Take a deep breath darling. We're both gonna need it."
----
The battle continued to rage on as the command to change direction came through. "Wolfpack on me. We're on babysiting duty until further notice." Seth aimed his revolver at a crimson soldier and popped his head like a balloon. "Mercury. When you're done resupplying I want you back helping the Archius crew. Noble, you're with me. I'm getting reports that the Golden wave is here and helping us. We need to give them cover with what remaining troops we have." He reloaded and took aim at another soldier charging him. A second later the poor bastard had a huge hole in his torso. "The new HE rounds will come in handy."
As Dwan finished applying the biofoam Lion gently touched it to make sure it was getting solid, which it indeed had.
"Stay here and keep an eye on him." Said Lion to Dwan before moving on to Varn who was being tended by one of the mercs that had helped Dwan earlier.
"How bad is it?" Asked Lion as he approached.
Elli kept focusing on Varn as someone asked. "His leg is sawed off, this is as severe as wounds can be, not to mention there's blood everywhere." Elli sternly said, cleaning off the blood with hardcore skill and not that high tec fancy shit, to be honest she and Ject couldn't really afford that stuff.
"Bad news is that I don't have half my leg anymore. Good news is that my stunning good looks are intact. Oh, you're asking the medical professional."
Lion chuckled. "Hang in there Varn, we're gonna help you through this." Lion kneeled down next to Elli.
"Tell me what you need, I got some field kits, basic incision lasers and two canisters of biofoam alongside several tubes of medical nanites."
"We've got something better." Two Privateer medics, rushed in. Placing a gurney onto the floor. They lifted Varn out of the ground, placing him to the gurney. "You, I want you to clean off all the blood and make sure that wound is sealed up using these." He pulled out of his large backpack, revealing canisters of biogen. Elli nodded as she continued working.
Both Privateers nodded as they took a look at the bag. "Once you're done, you gonna help us put this onto his stump." They pulled out a hefty chromed leg that extended depending on the person's height.
"This is gonna help him walk, while also kicking ass." The leg opened to revealed certain mini weapons hiding within the compartments. They also demonstrated a small metal knife retracting out of its feet before returning.
"Got it." Elli said. "Alright we're going to start right now." The Privateers said.
Pippin stood and looked around. He saw Lion and the others and started heading towards them.
"Thanks Dwan..I'll be fine, just watch the others for me in my absence. I'm..I'm sorry for this." Viper limply told Dwan as the Sanghvi slowly loss unconscious. Drifting into an completely unresponsive state as it laid on the rocks under it.
However it's vitals remained sable and we're even slowly improving as it's implant sent the current status of it's vitals towrads Lion and Dwan as the Sanghvi laid dormant.

As the Crimson Son forces had finished cleaning out the last of the Argos's roaches lingering onto the spires that they came in on. One of the Crimson Troops walked up to one of the Argos operatives leaning against the metal exterior of his coffin with most of it's blood and comrades aside him.
Yet despite even the most fatal of wounds, the injured operative continued to persist alone against an entire squad of armed and fully able adversaries as they surrounded him in this cleared out husk of an troop transport.
"Don't." The Crimson Trooper remarked towards the dying operative as he weakly pick up an damaged rifle next to him. The Crimson troops simply watch the foolish man as he used whatever strength left in his body to aim the weapon at them. They didn't even raised their weapons, simply standing in confusion around the room and watched.
"Why are you prolonging the inevitable?" An Crimson Trooper said slowly in room watching the operative used his remaining hand to hold the gun's handle as his other laid limp to the side of his severed leg, he looked through the cross hairs of his weapon.
Lining up the weapon's sights towards the trooper in font of him while the target stood there confused at his enemy's perseverance.
*(Click)* The rifled sounded as he pressed the trigger. *(Click, Click)* It did so again. The operative attempted this several times, each futile as the last. His target calmly walked out of his crosshairs and walked towards with his knife at the ready to put this puppet out of his miserable life.
The operative then let out an chuckle before letting his rifle out of his hand and onto the floor. The Crimson trooper stop and looked at his target, now more puzzled then before as the dying man seemed content with his fate and dim metal interior flashed with color.
It wasn't long as the purpose of the Argos's forces deployment of the spires was revealed. The motionless monolith begun to creek and shift, their movements slowly begun to tear apart the surrounding concrete supports and rock caverns.
"Damn! This Saber 8-7. Retreat! Retreat from the-" The Captain of the Crimson squad shouted into his helmet to no avail. The interior was already sealed as it's movements turned more and more violent, tearing both the nearby tunnels and itself asunder.
One by one, each spire that had planted itself deep into the surface of Zeruel had finished their work, their geometric scans of the planet's structural and the underground defense network infested within it.
After relaying the collected information to any nearby, the parasites let out an blinding slight of pure energy coming from their entry wounds on the world. Themselves detonating instantaneous with enough energy to disintegrate an entire landmass was directed into tearing though the planet's tectonic plates and into the Crimson's inter dens. The plasma from the spires explosion was also unleashed into the surrounding tunnel networks in the north and south poles. Decimating any unlucky gearhead in their vicinity along with their defense weaponry.
The spires had successfully burned an hole though the planet's surface leading straight into the inter labyrinth, of course. This was the easy part in Argos's plan as the rest of the Crimson forces gathered and prepare for their counterattack.
Meanwhile, as the dreaded armada of the Crimson Son arrived from an tear in space, an frightening and awesome number of impressive warships lingered above them as each one diffed from their warp jump.
"So the rats has finally came out of their hiding spots..." Alpha one spoke under his breath as he watched the Olympian fleet let lose with everything they had, their Artemis destroyers mass firing volleys of thermal torpedoes accompanied by the hails of 120 centimeter slugs flung at mach 10 by Perseus Cruisers in parallel. Very shot was coordinated in flawless unison of firepower, yet this wasn't going to be enough to stop this Juggernaut of an battlefleet.
"Well..The Lion isn't sleeping this time....." Alpha commented as watched the spar between them and Crimson unfold, the SDF was holding together better than expected. "Analysis; Unplanned contingency; Additional assets deployed." An benefactor remarked. "Activation; Epsilon, Theta and Lambda Phalanxes; Commencing."
While defenses within the stars held back, the planetary strike forces enter orbital around the these sites. Carriers and Frigates carrying thousands of troops, drones and ordinance to lay siege to the mightiest of fortresses closed in with the skies around them being blacked out by the fighters and interceptors escorted them down to the surface as the surrounding Crimson emplacements laid silent while their battle shuttles roared.
The real invasion had begun for the Argos forces.

Lanius entered through the Synergy network and saw havoc among Zeruel. Thousands of ships clashing together like a pack of wolves. He adjusted his commissar cap and sighed. "Is this how things have spurted? Aces of aces dropping down the thin line?" He asked.
"High Regent, Supreme Commander Sertum wishes to speak to you." A female operator said to her superior.
"Go ahead Anya." Lanius approved before she was sent away, a holographic screen appeared in front of his chair, showing Sertum walking down the halls. "Lanius, whatever you have in store for us, now is the time to use it." Lanius looked down and chuckled.
"Sertum, how exactly did three armadas managed to hunt down Zeruel? Have you left yourself vulnerable."
"HarkArk had no trace of our position, neither did the Sol Government... the other."
"And you didn't think of that after?" Lanius questioned by curling around with his pen. The lingering dreaded of influence came from his tone. Sertum went silent and pounded his fist against the wall. Lanius shook his head and made sure the info around Zeruel was checked.
"Listen, we're going to intercept Harken Saw's Terminal Central and keep them at bay until."
"No." Sertum said. Lanius narrowed his eyes and was eager to know why not. Sertum turned and stared at him. "Reroute to the unknown forces and decimate them."
"Isn't Sol and HarkArk's superweapons more important to engage?" Lanius wondered. Sertum nodded but taking a glimpse at the screens. "What's less important is always the one that hides its true potential." Sertum said.
"Very well. Good luck Sertum, I hope this battle goes as planned." Lanius said before closing the transmission. "Activate Tyson Thrusters and switch to the SYN Engine." The operators did what they were told as deep within the hull laid a reactor that was kept in sync as close to the Conduit. Zeruel's Judgement immediately went towards the Rau Fleet slowly, targeting enemies from all directions. Lanius clasped his hands and oversee the events, seeing hostiles torn apart as they hopelessly fire against the Flagship of the Crimus. Ranging from 30 Kilometers in length.
"When titans clash, the god must pick up the pieces."
...
"You son of a bitch, I'll show you true power." Harken Saw, with the snap of his fingers opened through Termina Central's middle port, the reactors throughout the place gaining energy to the middle, supercharging.
Iska and her squad had arrived at the scene where Varn and Viper lay wounded.
She walked up to Varn and looked down on his leg, "Varn need to be more careful" she said jokingly.
She left the medic in her squad to assist with the wounded while the rest followed her as they started jogging back to Blaze to restock.
Lion nodded to the medics. "Good luck." He then went back towards the frontline. "Advance!"
He jumped across a broken metal barrier and pushed on, tightly followed by Spectre unit and several squads of marines.
They reached the nearby tunnel breach caused by Lion's grenade. Lion pointed towards it. "Entry point, you know what to do."
Immeadiately three marines planted down spikes in the surrounding ground which they then used to sustain three long military ropes which were tossed down into the hole.
As the marines readied themselves to jump, the sound of destruction underneath them became louder by the minute.
"Do we have friendlies in the target AO?" Asked Warren.
Lion nodded. "We have friendly mechanized forces onsite, watch your aim."
He then jumped down into the hole.
Having learned their lesson from last time, Yanim and Virin adjusted the sight of the mortar tube so that the projectile would come in at a lower angle. Unfortunately, they failed to take into account the uneven friction in the launch tube which caused the mortar to fall just short of the enemy line, creating a cloud of dust but doing no damage to anyone. Without any real distraction, the Crimson Son turned their attention to the ship which had just swept their lines, and soon the Belladonna was pursued by several anti-air rockets.
"Shnka..." Virin swore as the rockets exploded behind the ship in the far distance. Even through binoculars, it was difficult to tell if the ship had been damaged or not.
---
The console inside the ship lit up. "Spoke too soon!" Rask managed to shout just before the rockets slammed into the shield surrounding the craft. The devices, carrying a combination EMP-ballistic charge, penetrated the barrier and dealt damage to the thrusters. The craft began to list and wobble unnervingly.
"Yanim!" Neasha called out reflexively. The left-side engine was sputtering out and the hydraulics were failing. She nearly panicked as the ship sank closer to the surface, straining to remember what to do in this situation. There was no time to read the toggle switches, and so she resorted to instinct. Two switches were pressed and the engines died. The console went dark aside from a row of red lights, and while she pulled back on the stick, there was no response. Just before hitting the surface, the engines came back online along with the lights, but it was slightly too late.
As the ship bounced off the surface of the planet, there was a loud bang which shook everything and threw Rask and Gataska completely off their feet. Neasha, strapped into her chair, tried the stick again out of sheer desperation and to her surprise, it worked. She initially overcorrected and the ship rocketed upward, and Rask slid on his back and shoulder until he hit the doorframe, stripping his mask off completely and rendering him unconscious.
"What? What happened?" Yanim replied over the comm. Only a few seconds had passed, but everything felt like slow motion to Neasha as she pulled the ship into a steady turn, heading directly toward Fort Blaze.
"We're hit, the ship is badly damaged..." she explained, nervously checking over her shoulder for Rask. "Oh, gods! Gata-kanad, get in here, please! Rask is down."
"Vok? No human speak box, no hold, uh-uh-" Gataska fumbled for words as she tried to orient herself in the darkness of the medical bay, rendered powerless by explosion. Yanim and Virin talked over each other in panicked voices to translate for her.

In a dimly lit café typically reserved for the business class, just blocks away from both the State Naval College and the High Council of Kanadys, Ryvik stared uncomfortably into a cup of hot tea. "[If you need a day or two to think it over,]" Dzyrom said with a reassuring smile, "[please feel free. I know how it must feel, to give up a promising career in the Black Fleet.]"
"[It's not that,]" Ryvik answered, quietly. "[It's been a long time since my sister and I have been close, but I still worry...]"
"[...what happens when she's captured?]" Dzyrom said, completing the thought. "[Ryvik, please don't trouble yourself with the moral trappings of family and country. Colonel Pishka was a close, long term friend of mine, but I'm not pursuing this case to take vengeance for his loss. I'm doing it because the state considers her a credible threat to peace and order.]"
"[My parents would never forgive me.]"
"[No, Ryvik. I spoke with your mother and father this morning. I had to show them the footage from Kuromo to convince them... But, they understand.]" Across the table, Ryvik braced his head against his palm and cried, knowing the pain that his parents must feel, resentment pooling in his heart for what Yanim has done to them. Dzyrom reached out and put his hand on Ryvik's shoulder. "[Listen,]" he continued, "[your father told me that he's lost his daughter. When I told him that I wanted to bring you into the operation, he made me promise that I would keep you safe.]"
"[And once we catch her,]" Ryvik croaked, "[what... what's it like? Being an agent?]"
"[I can tell you all about it, don't worry. It's a rewarding career path, and there's plenty of opportunities to choose from. But we can also make special arrangements for you. I've heard about your attempt to enroll at the State College of Culture and Arts. They may have turned you down before, but if the GKVR comes along and says, 'this young agent, he's a real patriot...'"
---
"[He's breathing again,]" Gataska said, hunched over Rask's crumpled form in the main tunnel of the ship. "[Are we landing? I can't do much without light, comrades!]"
"[Yes, Neasha told us she's going to land,]" Virin answered over the comm. "[Hang in there, Gat.]"
Yanim's stomach turned over as Viper's warning echoed in her mind. Noble sacrifices had almost occurred, regardless of how the crew felt about the matter. The blade on her tail turned bright red and began to smoke as she intended to repay the act with passion of her own. The Crimson Son were closing in. Blood begets blood.
Screaming like a banshee, Yanim leapt over the cover, unloading her rifle in full automatic for the first time since Rigel on the nearby Crimson troops.
As Spectre Unit approached to the darkness in the caves, they checked for any hostiles in the area. Marines focused on the ground, advancing to the massive areas of the tunnel while pushing through. Above them, laid a sharp claw as red glowing eyes watched several marines enter. Drips of saliva coming down. Warren caught this and immediately fired above.
The creature of immense size roared as it came down from the pillars, creating a small crater, a marine fired only to received a limp getting cut off. The screams of his laid as the monster charged, biting his head as blood gushed. Warren pulled out a grenade and attempted to activate it before a whip prevented from doing that. Warren gritted his teeth and pulled out his weapon until he felt the whip injure him. Dirge pulled out of the shadows and stared at him, seeing him knocked over to the side, struggling to get up. Dirge and his pet had waited for this.
Dirge gestured Lion to take him on, clenching the grip of the whip to heat it up. Dirge's pet slowly growled in anticipation, standing his ground while Dirge walked slowly.

AUDITOR DIRGE - FAMINE
[Can you please not kill a semi-major character I created without my permission, please?]
[Gotcha, I'll fix that at home]
[Bosses based on the Four Horsemen? :excited:]
"Varn need to be more careful" she said jokingly.
Varn couldn't respond verbally since he was biting down on a piece of hard plastic while getting operated on, but he could respond with his hand.
"Keep still dumbass. If you fidget around, this thing will be wobbly as fuck when you walk around." Varn stood still as the privateers did their work. While they were busy, Mercury and his squad arrived to lend support.
"We leave you guys for five minutes and you loose a goddamn leg. How did you survive 10 years alone again?" he laughed at Varn's misfortune.
"Ok, done. You can take that out of your mouth now. Get up, move around. Stomp on the ground to get a feeling for the new leg."
Varn spat the piece of hard plastic in his mouth and got up. He leaned to the side a bit, but after a few steps he was walking around like the leg was real. "This is great. I wont ask where you got that from. Now where's my cut off leg?"
"Why do you want that?"
"So I can shove it up his ass." Varn pointed at Mercury. "But seriously, glad that you guys are back helping us. Send two of your guys to protect the wounded. My superior officer is in critical condition and I need to be sure that competent people are guarding her." he looked at the few marines that were in good fighting condition "You're with us. We still need to drive those gear motherfuckers into hell. Come on, we're going after Lion."
Pippin heard the commotion and headed for it, not knowing what else someone in a support role was supposed to do in this situation...
"Hostile!" Yelled Warren as he opened fire towards the tunnel ceiling.
Three marines armed with kinetic shotguns which had volunteered to take point had no time to react as several rending claws cut them to pieces.
A man cried out in pain as he lost both of his arms, before collapsing onto the cold floor. Warren readied a grenade but to no avail as it was knocked out of his hands.
Before he could do anything else he was tossed away into a nearby fall, coughing as he struggled to get up.
Lion, the rest of Spectre Unit and the dozens of marines spread out.
A shady figure appeared next to the wicked creature which Lion recognized as one of the unidentified supersoldiers which had participated in the battle that led to Jeremy's death.
He grinned and motioned for Lion to come at him.
In response, Lion holstered his rifle and unsheated the vibrosword he was carrying.
The edge of the blade turned blue as a small sheet of plasma engulfed it.
Lion then charged forth.
Dwan handed Viper over to the professionals, thinking it would be safer for it to be with the medical folk. Having done that, he wondered what he was going to do next. Knowing the direction in which Lion in, he could possibly join him. He could also go back to his pad and fix up his Bellevue Ancaria, but the area was too crowded for him to even consider teleporting. He looked at the chainsword he has swiped from the dead Elite, thinking of the many things he could do with it in combat.
Eventually, he decided that he had to continue onwards. He followed Varn's group that was going in Lion's direction.
Pippin saw Dwan and followed close behind him. "You have any idea what's going on?"
"What do you think?", Dwan replied bluntly. "We've got injured folk in a war zone and the enemy is getting reinforced. Things are happening as we speak!", he told Pippin.
