Arthur checked the backlog on his comms, while waiting for the captain. At least 5 missed calls, all from Joseph! As he pondered what the mad German needed so badly, another call came in from the man himself.
"Arthur? I see your comm is back online. Vould you like to assist me in my little experiment? I am currently implanting the heart of a mega baboon inside somebody."
Arthur furrowed his brow in frustration.
"Is this what you wanted me for? A goddamned vivisection? Joseph, as much as I would of loved playing doctors with you, I've been very busy with duties on Rigel. As the acting head of science on this ship, I cannot assist your every whim. I'm going to be meeting with Jeremy very soon; have that Jordon fellow assist you. And please make sure there's enough clones of this patient you're experimenting on for... later." With that, he clicked off his comms and temporarily set Joseph's number to 'ignore all calls'.
Jeremy arrived at the Market and went to the Counter to ask a question.
"I was wondering if you had any Xiv-Tech Supplies instock, and if so where are they and how much are they?" Jeremy asked.
((For you Doom, also what are the people who works behind a counter called? I forgot))
(Clerks?)
Having finished reading his book, Dwan decides to go into his secret quarters behind the "exotic drinks" cabinet. He puts a "Closed" sign on the counter and goes in. He puts the book back into one of his 3 briefcases. He closes the entrance, disallowing anyone from entering, finding out what he's doing inside.

"Sure thing, sir. Umm, hold up I think I should check." A went for a sec as Jeremy waited, coming back in a few minutes.
"They're at least 500 for the whole set." He sighed.
(Doom I'm failry sure he's in a market outside of the ship.)

"What's in a set?" Jeremy asked.
"Well a ton actually... Demonstration is required heh." He pulled out a shit load of stuff under his counter with a box as if a portal spawned it. He carried it on the counter, hearing a faint thumb.
You got your average electrical plasma welders, activating it with a press of a knob, lighting up with the pressure of a thousand suns. "Shit being hot is an understatement. Degrees are like being inside the sun. He said while grinning. Now, lasers are at competition with these, understandable.
Now, he appeared with some plugs. "Monoplugs are to fix the wiring and stabilize the gun parts. You clean out your weapon and make sure it's filled with electronic gel to get the rounds such as lasers, plasma, or bullets to be fully effective.
"Now I also got a weapons kit to modify and craft some pretty experimental stuff if you're willing to put in the effort. New weapons and modified ammo are now yours to get creative with from these basic supplies. The basic stuff for 500."
By now, Iska had made her way to the elevator and was on her way down to the armory, since she reasoned that someone in security might know a thing or two. Upon entering the armory, Iska viewed the weapons on the racks.
"Precison oriented small caliber, such boring designs" she scoffed. "Lucky Iska brought her own". Looking at the other end of the corridor she noticed a door labeled security. She swung her MG back into a tight grip and moved slowly towards it. "Get ready for party, Jorvu" she whispered gleefuly to her weapon.

An explosion rocked the station as the black-colored dropship fired away at a pair of terrorists hiding behind some crates with its large kinetic cannon. Their limp bodies flew away like a piece of paper in the wind.
The craft rotated a male voice announcer voice cried out; "Intruder alert! We have SSFD in the main hangar!"
One of the corridor doors opened up, making way for a group of rag-tag looking humans in varying size and outfits. As they moved in the rear door of the dropship dropped, revealing seven armored-clad combatans already aiming down their weapons.
"Take co-" Was the last thing one of the terrorists said before the soldiers in shiny black armor shot them all.
The soldiers quickly disembarked, five of them spread out and secured the area while two of them held position at the center of the room. The visor of one of the center soldiers folded, revealing a human male in his early thirties.
"Command, this is Taskforce Sparta. We're in."
Some static was heard before a grainy voice replied in the communicator.
"Understood, good luck."
Moments later the special forces team was moving through the station, picking off the terrorists one-by-one. After a few minutes of combating through the narrow hallways they entered a large storage room.
"We got tangos!" Yelled the teamleader before opening fire, his team spread out and assumed defensive positions as at least thirty terrorists led by a crazy-looking man in a gasmask rushed to counter the invaders.
Both kinetic, laser and ballistic fire was exchanged.
The leader of the soldiers looked to his team.
"Reed! Hayati! Kolvak! Flank left!"
The three soldiers nodded and begun flanking, the rest of the team laid down covering fire which managed to kill a fair number of terrorists.
"Fools! You cannot stop us for we are the arbiters of the truth!" Yelled the man in the gasmask. A moment later his head exploded as Reed, a deadly marksman, managed to get a shot at him.
As the leaders body fell to the floor his protegé, a young woman, dropped her weapon before kneeling next to his body.
The rest of the terrorists started falling back but suddenly the woman, now crying, screamed before grabbing a knife and started moving towards a barrel of nerve-toxin.
"Shoot her!" Yelled the teamleader to no awail as the woman stabbed the laserproof container, engulfing the far side of the room in a blu-colored gas.
"NT-3! Fall back now!" Yelled Reed as the terrorists started screaming in agony as they were pumped full of the dangerous gas.
The soldiers started running as fast as they could through the corridors that they had already cleared. The gas was expanding rapidly fast due to the oxygen, it was only a few meters away from the soldiers.
The first soldiers reached the dropship and the hatch started to slowly close, when all but Reed and the teamleader were inside the gas was just a few meters away from the dropship.
The teamleader yelled: "Close it! Close it now!" Before the he and his second in command were both engulfed by the gas. The hatch closed and the squad watched their officers struggle in agony as the gas spread through their armor ventilation systems.
Lion opened his eyes that immeadiately turned red. He flung out of his charging station and deployed his SMG, scanning the room for potential targets. He exited his quarters and moved slowly towards the range, he begun firing at one single target and when the gun safety prevented more shots to be fired due to overheating he put back the SMG in his rear pack.
Lion then jumped over the safety barrier, transforming his hands into a pair of energy blades that he used to slash at the target, now partially ripped to shreds due to the massive maount of kinetic fire.
Suddenly his eyes turned blue and his hands turned back to normal. Realizing what he had done, Lion cleaned up the mess before heading down to the hangar.
Once there he sat down by one of the hangardoors, looking out at the frozen landscape outside.
He felt anger and sadness, however he could not cry. He remained silent.
Varn was peeved, he didn't like getting ignored like that. "Hey lady, Im telling you to put that gun down." He turned on his armor's shield, hopefully it wouldn't get ugly, but you never know. He put his hand on his baton and yelled at Iska "Put that gun down."
Having solved the trickle charge problem effecting the electrical grid, Yanim signed out of the console and walked to the armory firing range. She was still carrying her new carbine, and wanted to at least test it before exchanging it for her OBV. Perhaps she was being sentimental; she would need to try it to be sure.
While at the academy, she trained hard with her rifle. For engineer and technical students, the only requirement was to pass basic training and handling courses, but she wanted to graduate with at least a marksman's distinction. She still remembered her top and best average scores on the test: 92.45% and 85.95%, respectively. The latter netted her the marksman distinction, but it was too low to qualify for sharpshooter.
She occasionally wondered whether she would make a better soldier, but then she would remember that it was the sport that she enjoyed; many kanads enjoy target shooting to a degree only displayed by human "gun enthusiasts." Regardless of the reason, Yanim would be unhappy until she knew she could trust her weapon. At the range, she called up a simple accuracy test from 160 meters, which was a close analogue to the academy test. She aimed down the sights and breathed calmly as her finger rested on the trigger of the Type-1.
She took ten shots in quick succession. Each time, she felt the recoil from her shoulder down to her hip. The sights at the front of the gun bounced with each pull but there was a slight compensation effect due to the shape of the muzzle. Round 1 was finished: 60.60%.
She adjusted the sights, doing her best to identify where the center of her spread was landing. Again she lined up and took ten shots: 62.15%
She adjusted her grip, hoping to reign in the vertical spread by giving herself more leverage: 73.90% The results surprised her, but her arms were growing tired from holding the gun and her shoulder was hurting from the kick. She changed nothing for the final test, and simply tried to duplicate her last success.
70.40%.
With all four rounds accounted for, the end result was an average of 66.76%, but she didn't need an exact number to know that she preferred the OBV. Having given the Type-1 an honest try, she felt better about exchanging it.

"Not bad, just give me a minute, going to contact a friend." Jeremy said to the clerk.
*Bleep*
"Lion are you there? They have the Xiv-Tech Supplies instock for 500 each, how many do you want?" Jeremy asked.

Just as she was about to open the security door, Iska heard some shouting.
She turned her attention and her weapon in the direction of the distraction.
Seing a human-like armored man standing behind her she took aim.
"You tell Iska what this ship is, who you are and give Iska good reason not to fill you with so many holes, guts will be leaking plasma" she said with a smirk on her face. After all, Iska had had to endure a particularly long peacetime and having a standoff felt very nice for once.

"3 boxes is enough. I sent 1500 credits. Thanks." After talking to Jeremy Lion let out a robotic sigh. At least he could still do that.
He continued observing the landscape in silence.
Jeremy then looked at the Clerk.
"I'll take 3 please." Jeremy said.
He then gave the money and headed off to the ship.

"Oh good she can hear."-he thought to himself
"You are on board of the Archius XI, right now your pointing a gun at what a fellow enforcer( I hope) and if that isn't a good enough reason, maybe the fact that every member of this crew is armed to the teeth with mega-guns and will come down hard on your ass if you get past me. Now are you gonna play nice or are you gonna or are we gonna dance?"
As Viper continued to watch the events happening right outside the door though the eyes of the cameras. Viper patched into the ship's security radio system with the implant "We have a situation going within the security sector, Enforcer Merner is being hold at gunpoint. Repeat, Enforcer Merner is being hold at gunpoint right outside the security office" before getting linking the camera feed with the implant allowing for Viper to see the both Merner and Iska. Viper gets to the side of the door, readying if things get too out of hand.

Iska looked mildly annoyed as she was unable to understand some of the terran terminology. "Iska will not dance with you" she replied, "and if ship is indeed Archius XI, then what is name of captain?" now she had lowered her mg to the hip, the barrel still facing Varn.
"Captain Jeremy Spacehawk." Varn lowered his baton, shield still on.
At some point, Dwan leaves his secret quarters with a whole bunch of alcoholic beverages. He refills the shelves and cabinets. Finally, the bar looks just like how it did before people drank all the booze.
Closing the entrance to his quarters, Dwan decides to see if anything is happening.
Isks relaxed a bit. "Iska will trust you, for now." Iska lowered her weapon and sat down on a ammo container.
"So, room where Iska came from is own room, not cell?" Now that she thought about it, who would be so daft to inprison someone in an unlocked room with their own weapon.
Varn felt relieved. He shut down his shield and pulled up a chair.
"Probably yes, unless they put bars without telling me. My name is Varn Merner by the way.-He extended his hand. Please let this not be some insult to her people.

Jeremy then put his arm down and instructed the 5 Staff Members to book it to the ship.
Once Jeremy got there he told the 5 staff members to wait in the Bridge with the 3 boxes.
Jeremy then booked it to the Security Sector and saw what was going on.
Jeremy saw Iska and with a confused expression on his face, questioned her.
"Iska, What are you doing?"

Iska stared, confused, at Varn's outstretched hand. "Iska of Volgrim. Get job as engineer for starship, and you?"
She didn't get an answer because Jeremy barged through the elevator door. "You are captain, yes?" She said loudly whilst smiling and standing up from her container. "Iska, new engineer. Contractor told me to contact captain of Archius XI, but you quite short to be captain, no?". Iska eyed Jeremy and then Varn, then Jeremy again And begun wondering if all humans were so small.

"Short to you, I am quite tall compared to us Humans." Jeremy said with a laugh.
"That room we-I put you in is your room." Jeremy said.
"Now that there isn't any danger, I do have to just finish up on some stuff. Once I am done we can talk if you want, but for now, just walk around and get to know the area and people." Jeremy said.
He then headed to the Bridge.
*Bleep*
"Lion and Arthur, please come to the Bridge." Jeremy said.
Iska looked after Jeremy as he left. "The captain can speak to Iska when she wake up", she turned her head to Varn, "but before Iska goes to sleep, she must know one thing... Is there kanad in crew?" she said, whilst looking pretty serious.
Varn stood up from his chair when the captain entered and did a quick salute. Once captain Jeremy left he turned to Iska and said:
"To answer you first question-I'm an security enforcer on this ship. I suggest seeing officer Lion when you can if you want to request a personal weapon for yourself and if you still want to get a drink, the ship has a nice bar."
Once Iska was outside he went to the security room. After that he needed a shower and his suit was feeling like a swamp.
Yanim stopped in her tracks, having just heard the message from the intercom. She was on her way to that exact location, looking for Lion, who didn't appear to be around at the armory. She ducked back into the locker room and exchanged the Type-1 for the OBV, and waited with her rifle pointed at the door until the situation was clear. Jeremy sprinted past the door without noticing her.
After waiting what felt like an eon for the captain, Arthur's communicator sprang up with Jeremy's face flashing on screen.
"Lion and Arthur, please come to the Bridge." Arthur was confused at this order.
"Captain, I already told you. I've been waiting at the bridge since I asked to meet you earlier. I'll... keep on waiting I guess."
