Jeremy woke up and slowly got out of bed, remembering that he would consider joining Arthur in his Mission he went to Medical Lab to talk to Arthur. "Arthur, I will join you. I will be up in the Bridge organizing unrelated stuff so when we are about to head off, let me know and I will see who will be joining us" Jeremy said. He then walked to the Bridge and sat down.
As Varn entered the armory Lion was just in the process of opening up a rust-colored weapons case with Boom Marines logo printed on the front. "Just in time Varn." Lion brought out a small black-colored metal box from the case. "Varn, meet the LWA Boom-Box; based on the Boom Marines' motto of 'Charge first, think later'." Lion gestured towards the box, he clicked on a tiny button and the box unfolded into a medium-sized weapon. "This plasma shotgun does, surprisingly for it size, alot of damage. It feeds on a experimental powercell developed by yours truly that is adapted for quick attacks that require alot of power, meaning that it fits well in this shotgun." Lion pushed the stock inwards, effectively folding it. "Stock can be folded for added comfort and easier maneuverbility in narrow spaces. A faceshield-" Lion activated a orange shield covering a small circular area of the guns' tip. "- Can be used to protect you from incoming fire. The gun has two modes, one regular semi-auto mode and one full-auto mode." He paused and gave the weapon to Varn. "With the Boom Box you'll be guaranteed to be the first into the battle as well as the last man standing should someone be dumb enough to pick a fight with you. Just mind the recoil and you should be fine. Nice tazer by the way." Lion then turned around and left Varn to inspect the gun for himself.
Arthur lighted up at Jeremy's decision. "Good to see you've changed your mind, my friend! The crew will profit from their captain being involved with this mission, they truly will. I would suggest letting everyone know through the speakers as soon as you make it to the bridge." Arthur said, before Jeremy left for the Bridge. Through the day, Arthur had been working a biological solution based on the information forwarded by Perra. He would be finished by tonight. Before he continued work however, Arthur was in need of other resources. With that in mind, he buzzed Lion. "Hello there, my metallic friend! Concerning the contract we'll be taking on later, is there any chance I could trouble you to construct some flamethrower-type weapon? I have spoken with my contact, and she has mentioned that these bugs are weak towards fire."
As Viper was walking back from bridge to the security office, Did a window catch Viper attention and looked out to watched many stars within one of the many corridor's of the Archius XI. The memories of Solari and fellow Sanghvi that Viper both fought with and against, plagued Viper's mind as Sanghvi was becoming a ever deceasing species within the ever expanding galaxy, bringing Viper back to the time when the Sanghvi first entered a fighter within the war that took the Sanghvi from a major power that own several thousands stations among the eastern ring, holding it's place within the stars for a nearly thousand years to a barley surviving race that is only now known to interstellar explorers as a exotic race with in the pages of a data pad. Just four years old, the Sanghvi was sent for war at least physically and as such was drafted into service in the needs of Solari. It's was within a cold and broken down hanger in the Solari colony. Filled with cannibalized ships and spare parts with most of the working battleships were hastily built wrecks of decommissioned or destroyed Sanghvi ships that were savaged from the battlefield or either from the obsolete ships that were lend-leased from UGC. That the young Sanghvi would take to the stars for the first time. Like many other Sanghvi part of the newly created 7th Reserve UGC Sanghvi fighter squadron that stood between the Protectorate and Solari. There were the only defense that the small colony had. The Sanghvi rush to man there fighters as word was that the UGC Harbinger that had been assigned to defend the Solari colony. Had been attacked by a small Protectorate fleet and was under heavy fire. The young Sanghvi had only took a week of training when the lights ran and could feel that death was soon upon them but nevertheless carried on within jury-rigged flying coffin that basted out of the hanger and into formation with rest of Sanghvi fighters. Looking ahead to the battle that will change the young one forever. A loud sound came though the Implant. Catching Viper off guard and remind that was other duty that needed to be done and walked out the security office.
[No offense Deathgrunt but could you possibly try to fix your grammar a bit?]
"Alright. So captain, vhat is ze current situation now? Are ve going to depart soon?" Joseph said as he came into the bridge.
"Alright. So captain, vhat is ze current situation now? Are ve going to depart soon?" Joseph said as he came into the bridge.
"We won't be departing for another day or two." "Arthur has given me information about a mission that will earn us 20 million credits which will make the trip between here and Termina Central a lot easier, so I am organizing a crew to go out later tonight" Jeremy said.
Varn's eyes widened as Lion passed the Boom box to him. The shotgun was lighter than the usual shotguns he has used before, probably due to its size and the fact he didn't need to feed it bullets. The handling was superb and even the face shield made a cool noise when it popped up. "Now this is a proper boomstick. Thank you sir, Ill try to put it to good use in the coming days." Varn put the Boombox in the weapon case and was about to exit when he remembered " Oh, I almost forgot. I used some spare parts and took apart a tazer pistol to make this thing. Feel free to take the money from my account when we resupply on those. I can also send you the design for the arm tazer if you want." After leaving the armory, Varn went to the firing range to test out his new gun. The targets started melting as the hot plasma tore them apart. Varn switched to to full-auto mode and the massacre of defenseless targets continued. "Yeah, me and this gun are going places."

Lion entered the bridge and made a quick salute. "Captain, sir. I'm not sure if you received my message earlier today so I thought I'd report it in person." Lion opened up one of his hands, projecting a hologram of a ship from his eyes onto the hand. "We have a dropship ready for combat down in the hangar, if you are to join the hunt at Sanctum I insist on flying you there alongside some heavy defensive gear to help ensure your survival. If needed I will provide fire support."
Before reaching the elevator, Dwan heard the news of some sort of bug hunting expedition, in order to get a cash prize. Hearing this, Dwan goes back to the bar to grab his gear and weaponry. As he was finishing up, a tough looking man with a sledgehammer came into the bar. Sledge slammed a muscly fistful of dollars onto the counter and demanded to be served the bar's three strongest drinks. Knowing this isn't enough, he successfully guessed he was a crew member and deducted the remaining bill from Sledge's account. Grabbing a Spirytus, a Everclear and a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster (which Dwan considers stronger than Bloodwine), he turns around to see Sledge slam down his hammer onto the counter, making a deafening BANG!. "I see you're admiring my hammering muscles. Don't worry, I only use them to crush SKULLS and DREAMS!", Sledge remarked to his new audience. Dwan slaps him upside the head for slightly denting the counter. "Sir, this is a bar, not a show-off room.", Dwan says as he deducts more cash from Sledge's account for the property damage. "Anyway, here are your drinks, sir.", Dwan says as he serves the Spirytus, the Everclear and the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster to Sledge. At this point, Sledge is either mad or impressed that a midget is handling him this way. He sees Dwan pull out his gear and his weaponry. Well-made armor, a modified Bellevue Ancaria, a backpack cannon that can shoot fire and mortars, a power hammer and a custom made three-barreled pump-action laser shotgun. Dwan was decked out as fuck. He closes the bar and puts a sign redirecting everyone to the Mess Hall. Everyone leaves the bar to continue their drinks in the Mess Hall, as Dwan went to see where he can sign up for the expedition.
Varn finished testing out the Boom box but was hungry for more. Maybe the expedition had room for one more, spending the majoridy of his time on the ship was getting to him. Besides the new weapons could use some testing. He took the Boom box, a pistol, a combat knife and a couple of incindiary grenades and made his way up to the bridge.
Iska woke from her sleep in her bunk. After quickly looking around she realised she hadn't made her room feel like her own. So she opened her crate and took out her clan banner and hung it proudly on the wall. Then, pressing a button on her other case unfolded it into a table and a shelf with a built-in jukebox. She tapped the jukebox lightly and the terran band Hurriganes started playing rock and roll, a genre that she had grown to like. After this she pressed a button on the first crate, this time unfolding it into a tooldrawer witha gunrack with three slots and pushed it next to the rooms desk. She put her lmg, Jorvu, on the desk and began mending its parts. She didn't bother to go out and look for the rest of the crew, since she would meet them eventually. Iska figured that if there was something urgent someone would come by and tell her. She only hoped that the kanad chick didn't have her room nearby, it would be such a hassle to run into her. But for now she turned her attention to jorvu, and toiled away whilst humming "get on baby" by the hurriganes.
(Nice autocorrect Radley.)
During the night, Yanim reexamined her earlier automation work and decided it wasn't sophisticated enough. During the times she had been away, efficiency of the electrical generation system had not only dropped, but had also not been adequately monitored. Writing a new subroutine into the maintenance program took time, but considering that her entire job revolved around sorting out these sorts of problems she was more than willing to lose a bit of sleep. When she was finished, she signed out again and summarized her changes in a memo to Kr. After taking a long nap in her living quarters, Yanim awoke to a message over the intercom:
Could Officer Varn, Dr. Jordon and Yanima please report to the armory for distribution of weapons as soon as possible? Thank you.
Lion still didn't quite know how to pronounce her name, but it didn't bother her. He was working harder than most of the crew and had been very generous. She set out for the armory and arrived a short time later, carrying her OBV in one hand and a toolbox in the other. She still hadn't assigned a droid to carry the latter, but she had thought about it during her last shift in the engine room and had some ideas about building herself a robotic companion- she had more free time and resources on the Archius than she had ever had elsewhere. Likely because she had taken so long getting ready, by the time she arrived at the armory, Lion was already gone. She sighed and figured the most likely place to find him would be on the bridge, and so she doubled back and kept walking.
Lion opened up one of his hands, projecting a hologram of a ship from his eyes onto the hand. "We have a dropship ready for combat down in the hangar, if you are to join the hunt at Sanctum I insist on flying you there alongside some heavy defensive gear to help ensure your survival. "For those wanting to join our mission to kill bugs and earn around 20 million credits, please report to the Bridge. We will be leaving soon." Jeremy said, he then left the speaker and waited in the Bridge.
Dwan arrived at the Bridge after hearing the announcement. "Captain, bartender, reporting for bug burning.", Dwan says to Jeremy.
After hearing something on the intercom about killing and 20 million credits she hastely put jorvu back together and grabbed her ammo pouch and was on her way out of her room she realised she hadn't testfired after stripping her weapon. In a hurry she just let off a round into the roof of her room. "Works like papas rifles" she said, smiling. After this ordeal she left her room and began walking to the bridge.
"I'll head down to the hangar and prep the ship." Lion saluted and started leaving the bridge. Just as he was about to enter the elevator he spotted Yanim. "Greetings Yanim, I wanted to show you your new weapon earlier. I redid the design and it's now entirely built in a lightweight alloy with the exception being the heavy barrel. The toolbox in the stock can now be removed as well, reducing weight even more. It's down in the armory if you want to pick it up."
[No offense Deathgrunt but could you possibly try to fix your grammar a bit?]
[Sorry I late for a class and was rushing to finnish my post. Should of just waited till I was out of class instead. ]
"Varn, reporting for bug stomping, captain."
"For those wanting to join our mission to kill bugs and earn around 20 million credits, please report to the Bridge. We will be leaving soon."
The captain's voice crackled through the speaker in the elevator, talking about some sort of hired mission. Seeing no reason why she had to stay with the ship for the time being, Yanim decided to go along. But first, she would need to meet up with Lion and find out what he meant in his message from earlier. Fortunately, Lion was already waiting for the elevator at the bridge level. He told her about a redesign of the Type-1, which surprised her since she hadn't approached him about it yet, but then she reasoned that Lion must have seen the security footage of her running an accuracy test and exchanging for the OBV. Suddenly the weight of having to bring up the issues she had experienced disappeared, and she enthusiastically thanked him. "Captain," Yanim said into the communicator in the elevator, "I am come along to the mission, but must retrieve new weapon from armory. I will to be in the hangar waiting for you all." The two rode to the bottom together and then parted ways, Lion for the hangar and Yanim for the armory. There, she retrieved the new Type-1. It was much closer in weight to the OBV, having been rebuilt into a new frame which was cut away in many locations and covered in a composite shell. The magnet launcher was still incorporated, and had even been improved by having its firing mechanism combined with the existing trigger, toggled by a special setting on the selector switch. Shouldering the gun, she realized that the balance was closer to the fulcrum of the weapon. Most desirable, however, was the changing of the human-designed inductors for the more efficient, but volatile, kanad-designed coil interchange. She could immediately expect a dramatic reduction of recoil from the rifle and better grouping. Routing a human-made plasma cartridge through such a design was a damn impressive feat of engineering, and a downright dangerous undertaking to be sure. Yanim now understood how her human crewmates must have felt when they recieved their new weapons. She had a few minutes, so she quickly arranged an accuracy test in the firing range. Not quite breathing evenly or entirely focused on the target ahead of her, she let off ten pulses in quick succession: 82.45%, very good for a first test- almost even with her OBV average, which of course required years of practice to achieve. She slung the new carbine over her shoulder (although at her size she would be likely to continue referring to it as a rifle) and disregarded the other three rounds of the test. She would have time to improve later. She then scurried to the hangar.
[Who is on the bridge right now?]
The clamps emitted a high click-sound as the second of the two supply pods was mounted underneath one of the wings. A light next to the clamps switched from red to green, Lion moved on into the rear compartment. He hit a button next to the rear exit, opening up a hidden hatch in the interior roof close to the exit ramp. A machinegun slowly deployed downwards untill it was in chest-height, several click sounds could be heard as the guns mount pintle mount was secured. Lion assumed combat position on the LMG and tested the rotation before checking the kinetic energy source. He hit the switch again and the gun returned into the small compartment located in the upper interior. He then moved into the cockpit and removed the joystick safeties, checking the rotation and hydraulics before powering up the monitors. All systems were green and so Lion went outside to take a final look at the ship. The HarkArk Adeptor had been the workhorse dropship for many militias and planeteray governments. It's aggressive yet sleek angular shape with the wings pointed pointed slightly forward was a brilliant design, aerodynamics-wise. The Adeptor has a long service-age, yet HarkArk keeps updating the models to tackle every problem that appears. In the Sol system the regular naval forces as well as the Sol Special-Forces Division had relied on the Adeptor for decades and Lion was more than familiar with the ship. The one on the Archius had been painted in the default HarkArk colors white and orange with black-colored details. Besides physical modifications such as a improved nosegun and two improved cargo-clamps underneath the wings Lion had also added a name for the ship, alongside a symbol. On both the left and right sides of the triangular cockpit window Lion had painted the name 'Roughrider' next to a symbol of a spear-wielding horserider charging forwards. Roughrider was the designation of the dropship, hopefully the Captain would approve of all the modifications that Lion had performed on the ship. Iska ducked down not to hit her head on the foor frame as she entered the bridge. She stretched out to her full length, standing in a relaxed pose with her arms crossed whilst waiting for Jeremys answer.

"My work is done!" Arthur exclaimed, in a moment of eureka. He gathered up his supplies, and hurried down to the hangar. When he got there, he took a seat in an unnoticed corner, intending to give a speech to the crew when enough people had gathered for the mission.
