[Don't worry about it] "Yes I am. You need help bringing your things to the hangar?"
Iska gave Varn a humoristic grin. "Friend, all Iska needs is jorvu" she replied whilst tugging on her weapon sling, the plasma rounds making a satisfying clinging sound in the lmg's ammo box. Both Varn and Iska headed to the elevator, discussing and comparing their personal weapons while they left.
Viper decided to join in the expedition as Viper wanted see what the armed crew mates and the Enforcers are capable of. Viper went to armory and looked for a weapon suitable for a Sanghvi. While not being find a firearm that was particularly comfortable, as a Sanghvi's frontal arms lacking the vertical flexibly that many soft-carbons have but with the advantage of having much higher strength and durability. Nevertheless Viper was able handle and fire a standard automatic rifle moderately well using the frontal arms as back mounted one, while being less flexibly the back arm's they lack the pong like fingers that are present on frontal arms while also awkward to aim a weapon with but could were fairly helpful with movement and are quilte effective when dealing with a threat at close range. As Viper took out a machine gun from one of the racks and hostier it on the back, making sure to not to get it caught with the back mounted arms. Walk down to the range and begin to take a firing stance. Viper then unholstering the rife with the right claw like hand of frontal arm, making sure to get a nice grip on the weapon with the Sanghvi's 8 fingers with the back set on the pistol grip and the font set holding the handguard in place. Viper then used the left arm to hit target button for standard engagement with 15 targets at close quarters, causing the steel targets to stand up. Firing several salvos of 6.8mm Flechettes into the targets, aiming at the center mass of the targets as any precision shooting was out of question due to the way thermal vision of way of Sanghvi's work. Only letting them seeing shapes of most things along with their heat source. Nevertheless Viper managed to take down the 15 targets within 20 seconds. Firing 70 rounds with 5-7 hitting each target. Satisfied, Viper holstered the weapon and took several reinforced armor plates and straps. Making a improvised vest of shorts for the Sanghvi and wore it upon the tarso along with a belt of spare magazines for the machine gun and headed to the hangar bay to wait for team to arrive.
(if you guys did a superhero/x-men rpg, I'd be all over that shite)

Lion noticed Arthur sitting around in the hangar. "Arthur you're welcome to select your seat in the ship. All seats but those in the cockpit are avalaible for your choosing." Said Lion, pointing towards the ramp leading up into the dropships rear compartment.
Jeremy walked to the Announcement Microphone. "For everyone who has not come to the Bridge to join us for the Bug Killing Mission, please report to the Hangar instead, you have Ten minutes till we set off." Jeremy said. He then left the Bridge and headed to the Armory, there he picked up extra Ammo, a pistol and Armor. After gathering his weapons, ammo and armor he headed off to the Hangar. Once he got there he saw everyone who decided to join them so far. "Okay, if you didn't hear the announcement...somehow...we will be leaving in 10 minutes." Jeremy said. He then took a seat out of the ship to wait for any other crew members.
Iska and Varn strolled into the hangar and admired the ship. She walked over to Lion, as he seemd to be the one in charge of things here. "Tinman, you are pilot of ship, yes?"
Arthur shot a questioning look at Lion. "No thank you. I'm waiting here until the crew comes around, so I can give them a talk before we leave. Besides, it was my intentions to meet up with Perra en-route."

"Call me Lion." Lion then nodded to Varn and Jeremy. "Varn, you'll be my tailgunner for a short duration of the ride. I hope you're good with LMG's."
Yanim arrived at the hangar at roughly the same time as everyone else. She took stock of the current away team: Jeremy, Lion, Arthur, Iska, Varn, and Viper were already there, but from the way everyone was hesitating it seemed that there might still be one or two crew members on their way. She walked to the rear hatch of the dropship and tossed her toolbox onto the floor of the craft, sliding it under one of the seats with her foot.

Either way, make sure that your Pathogen gun is ready." [editline]1st April 2015[/editline] Lion nodded at Yanim. "Yanim, mind being my co-pilot? It's the seat to the right."

"Space won't be a problem, you can have one of the seats by the door."

[editline]1st April 2015[/editline] Lion nodded at Yanim. "Yanim, mind being my co-pilot? It's the seat to the right."
Before getting an answer, Lion turned and shouted to someone called Yanim. Iska cast a glance in that direction and spotted the kanad woman. Iska frowned a bit, kanads usually looked down upon khergians for their crude technology and primitive lifestyles. This one hadn't said anything yet, so Iska decided to remain neutral... For now. [A thing I worked out today: Khergians and Kanads actually share a common ancestor. Due to this ancestors exodus from their unknown original homeworld eons ago, khergians and kanads have developed differently due to their planets conditions, the only thing they still have in common is pale/cold-colored skin and the ability to tolerate cold better then other races]
"Whatev-" Arthur's words were interrupted as he spied Yanim walking in, her lithe hips swaying as she went, her delectable blue skin shining as usual, her pure feminini- Arthur became lost in thought staring at the Kanad for a time, before perking up. "I will... sit behind wherever Yanim sits."
Iska looked at Yanim for a while before turning her head back to light her cigg, thats when she noticed Arthur gazing longingly in yanims direction whilst mumbling something. Iska shrugged and lit her cigarette. "Strange human. How you find mateworthy?" she said while looking in Yanims direction. "Kanad have personality of calculator".
Viper was waiting within the hanger till the rest of participating came in, a lot more then Viper was expecting but nonetheless nod to them and climb into the dropship though the rear hatch. The Sanghvi stood in sock for a moment as the implant read out all the modifications to Viper. The once simple drop ship was turn into a heavily armed gunship. Viper was fairly mad at Lion for modifying the ship without a personal notice before he had started but on the other hand quite impressed at handly work that the Senior Enforcer has in a relatively short time and the level of improvement done makes the makeshift fighters that the Sanghvi used look like children's play which made Viper feel another emotion, Jealousy. Jealous for how craftily the soft carbons are, even when they had there's body broken beyond all repair and put into a metal frame. However what was important was that they could travel safely and as such Viper ignored Lion along with other soft carbons and sat within one of the maintenance compartments. While it was a bit small but it's big enough for a Sanghvi plus the engine's heat felt good to Viper.
Arthur shook himself out of his gaze long enough to answer Iska. "O-oh, hello there. A new Khergian on board? It's a pleasure to meet you." Arthur said, as his face went dreamy. "There's something that feels so taboo about her. She's smart, her race hates ours, she's arrogant... She's like a female version of me, in a way. She clearly more than understands genetics, and she's very endearing. I enjoy a good challenge..." Arthur said, smirking at his encounter in the mess hall. "I should, um... I should focus. Whoever you are, please wait in the middle of the hangar with the other crew members. I'm going to give a little speech regarding the mission."

Iska gave Arthur a puzzling look, then decided it was non of her business and went to dit down on a crate to enjoy the rest of her cigarette in peace [editline]1st April 2015[/editline]
"I admit I haven't been in a drop ship crew since my training years but I remember how things work. Dwan followed Jeremy to the Hangar to where the ship is, also grabbing spare ammo and extra armor at the armory.
Kr'fernir completes whatever tasks have been given to him by his crewmates. After that, he makes sure that Isaac hasn't been slacking off on his scrubbing work. Beyond that he minds his engines and the other systems on the ship.
[Gonna go to sleep now, so Iska will just ride along now. You have a dialog for her or an action? Congrats, you now temporarly control Iska while I'm out. But keep it to a minimum]
Watching the ebb and flow of the hangar, Arthur saw a multitude of new and familiar faces gathered up and waiting for orders. Even the bartender had decided to get involved. He stood in front of them, gave them a warm smile, then launched into a small speech. "Salutations, my friends! I see there are some new faces aboard. My name is Doctor Arthur Beasley; Head of Science, Doctorate, full honours. As you all know the basic details of this mission, I will skip to the creatures we will be fighting, and their weaknesses." Arthur took a device off of his wrist and fiddled around with it, pulling up a lifesize picture of the creature that Perra had showed him earlier. "These creatures are called Screechers, and they are nasty little buggers indeed. They are insectoid-like, hunting in packs and spitting out caustic liquid that given enough quantity, can burn a man to the bone. I however, have spent the day researching these creatures and attempting to understand the biology of them, and I think I have come up with some excellent ways of killing them." Arthur turned the hologram off, and laid out some vials on a nearby table. "These vials contain a liquid that I have been crafting very carefully over the past day. Applied over an arrow or poured into a specially made bullet, this solution should be able to kill a Screecher with a single shot. This can work through merely hitting the chitinous skin of the Screecher, though works quicker when piercing the skin. There are 20 vials, enough for all of you. I would suggest saving a shot of this in case of a very sticky situation, or when fighting the queen. For the sake of convenience, I will name this solution 'Wildfire'." Arthur stopped his speech for a second, and glared at Lion. "I would of come prepared with a few flamethrowers and bullets with the ability to shoot the Wildfire, but our robot friend over here neglected to answer my calls earlier today. Lion, I would very much suggest that you detour to a weapons shop and pick up a number of crossbows, so the Wildfire doesn't go completely to waste." He turned back to the crew, his smile returning as well. "About this queen... This one is a real nasty bitch. Triple the size of a normal Screecher, a normal vial of Wildfire would likely not be enough to kill her. Multiple vials combined however, should hopefully do the trick and burn up her hardy skin enough to destroy her. I'm not sure of her habitations and other protections, so I imagine my contact, Perra, will fill us in en-route." Arthur stepped back, satisfied by his little speech. "Overall, the creature's weakness is fire. Bullets will kill them given enough shots, but any way that you can include incinerating damage into your barrage, I would suggest you do so. Anyone else who wishes to join, will have to make their own way here. Anyone who's currently making their way down to the hangar, will be filled in with everything I've said en-route. Any questions?"
Dwan listened to the speech. He flips down his goggles and sets his backpack cannon to "fire mode" in preparation. He checks all his other weapons to see if they are in top shape, which they are. "I have a question.", Dwan asked. "Do you have a estimate on how many vials we'll need for the queen? We'd want to keep a reserve specially ready for her.", Dwan showed concern.
"I'm glad you answered, my friend!" Arthur grinned to the stout man. "I would recommend at least 5-7 vials of Wildfire ready for the queen, shot in a volley around the same time by the team. Killing this beauty will require a large amount of co-ordination by anyone still standing. We should also be accompanied by Perra's team, who will be a big help in killing it."
Before reaching the elevator, Dwan heard the news of some sort of bug hunting expedition, in order to get a cash prize. Hearing this, Dwan goes back to the bar to grab his gear and weaponry. As he was finishing up, a tough looking man with a sledgehammer came into the bar. Sledge slammed a muscly fistful of dollars onto the counter and demanded to be served the bar's three strongest drinks. Knowing this isn't enough, he successfully guessed he was a crew member and deducted the remaining bill from Sledge's account. Grabbing a Spirytus, a Everclear and a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster (which Dwan considers stronger than Bloodwine), he turns around to see Sledge slam down his hammer onto the counter, making a deafening BANG!. "I see you're admiring my hammering muscles. Don't worry, I only use them to crush SKULLS and DREAMS!", Sledge remarked to his new audience. Dwan slaps him upside the head for slightly denting the counter. "Sir, this is a bar, not a show-off room.", Dwan says as he deducts more cash from Sledge's account for the property damage. "Anyway, here are your drinks, sir.", Dwan says as he serves the Spirytus, the Everclear and the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster to Sledge. At this point, Sledge is either mad or impressed that a midget is handling him this way. He sees Dwan pull out his gear and his weaponry. Well-made armor, a modified Bellevue Ancaria, a backpack cannon that can shoot fire and mortars, a power hammer and a custom made three-barreled pump-action laser shotgun. Dwan was decked out as fuck. He closes the bar and puts a sign redirecting everyone to the Mess Hall. Everyone leaves the bar to continue their drinks in the Mess Hall, as Dwan went to see where he can sign up for the expedition.
Sledge took the barkeep's blow to his head/pride without flinching, not just because he didn't see it coming, but also because he was tough-as-nails and no-nonsense. "Hahaha," he chortled, resisting the urge to rub the sore spot like some sort of beast. "I like this place! It's got guts. And gusto. Gutso." He chuckled again as he threw back the first shot without even thinking about how much he wanted to throw up immediately. He smirked confidently as he inspected the other two drinks through eyes that weren't watering even a little. Good, he thought, I like a good challenge. Even though nothing is a challenge for me, Derrick "Sledge" Hammer. He grabbed the second shot, steeled his already iron-clad nerves, and knocked the second shot back. It was at this point that Sledge was convinced he'd been had. The bartender had obviously exchanged his drinks for some sort of paint thinner. A very manly prank. Sledge was flattered by the barkeep's assumption that he could handle being subjected to such a painful and nauseating jest. But Sledge wasn't going to be bested. Through sure bull-headed, lion-pawed, grizzly-bear-balled determination, Sledge lifted the last shot, a bizarre purple, luminescent, frothy concoction which was weirdly heavy for a shot glass full of liquid and downed it. Sledge had defeated the bartender, who had armed himself to the teeth and left in the meantime, obviously scared out of his wits at Sledge's libation domination. Having satisfied his desire to drink for the night and feeling perfectly fine, Sledge took a well-deserved victory lap directly to his quarters where he spent the night practicing war cries as he was sure to assure everyone the next morning.
Varn raised his hand. "Excuse me, doctor. Will plasma weaponry deal enough damage to these bugs to kill them quick or are they just as good as bullets?
Arthur thought on Varn's question for a few seconds. "Yes, I suppose it would. At least, it would do more damage than bullets in general. As plasma is an extremely heated substance that deals damage in the same vein, plasma weapons should do more damage than bullets."
