Yanim was surprised by Lion's sudden intrusion, and especially by his ability to switch languages. She wondered if he had been listening in on the conversation already or if he had only just walked in on it. She figured on the latter and moved to introduce him to the group.
"[Ah, yes, this is our senior enforcer, Lion. He was once a human, and continues to be so, in a way,]" Yanim said in a roundabout fashion.
The others stared briefly at the mechanical man, trying to understand what Yanim meant. "[So,]" replied Siris, "[this 'Lion' fellow is a human mind in a robot body?]"
Yanim nodded in reply.
"[So the human s-speaks kanad with the help of his enhans-sesments. Big deal, it's nothing but a p-p-party trick]" Kagran grumbled. Then, in the rudest, most exaggerated rendition of English he could muster: "Hoow coool. Wehn I ruin these-s body with droog injects-s, I wahnt my brain poot in kannopinar. Then frends-s introuck me as Kagran-once-kanad-now-kanakannopinar!"
Siris slapped him hard on the back of his head. "[Were you not listening? He's a soldier, show him some respect, you fat, nasty trash!]"
"[He is a consummate professional, and also knows quite a lot about firearms development. This-]" Yanim said, brandishing the Type-1, "[is what he made me. It compares favorably to the OBV.]"
Orik whistled at the rifle, impressed by the workmanship.
Gataska added, "[so what you said about killing pirates..?]
Yanim nodded, proudly. "[We were pinned down in our lower deck. I was accompanying our ship surgeon into the firefight when he tried to throw an antique grenade. It didn't go off, so I shot it and two were killed. I don't know if I really saved the doctor's life though. That may be an exaggeration.]"
[Going to bed too. Iska is now controllable npc, good AI]
((Going to my dads, see you guys in a couple of hours.)
((Dang, alright well good thing I'm not the only one. So yeah Event delayed tomorrow. Be good now))

Lion grunted. "[Tell that to Joseph who was this-]" He held up two fingers to show a rather small distance "[- Close to having his head blown off. Anyway, I should go and attend to the rest of the crew.]"
Lion made an attempt at a Kanad honor-gesture, puttting his right hand on his chest before bowing slightly. He then left and walked up to Jeremy.
((I am at my dads, arrived around 3 hours ago, just thought I'd update you. Might not post for the rest of the night so yeah, sorry guys.))
[And back.Turning off AI mode.]
Varn was standing guard at the dropship waiting for the mission to start when his comunicator turned on and a familiar voice was in his ear.
"Hello Varn, long time no see. Turn to your left, yeah hi."Varn saw an Alpha sister leaning on some crates waving at him "Don't come near me. I think my sisters won like me talking to you."
"Honestly Sasha, I would prefer you get off my com and out of my sight. I swear you make all those ex-wives from the holo-vids look like angels. How did you get this frequency anyway?"
"You never changed your incription protocols. Hacking your comm is too easy. Besides I wanted to know how my hubby was doing, you never returned my calls."
"When the calls end with 'Im killing you and tacking your money' I dont answer them. I thought I made myself clear after I spared your life in the Trixina hotel, stay away from me!"
"Ohh, you still care." Sasha laughed and giggled mockingly
"No I don't, goodbye Sasha" Varn pressed a button on his comm and for a second a sharp screech was heard on his mic. He looked at Sasha who flipped him off. Yeah, she wont stop anytime soon. "Sorry everyone, my comm must be busted." He smiled as he imagined Sasha getting eaten by the queen and it chocking on her.
As Lion walked away, the group of kanads stood around anxiously as if something needed to be said. Siris suddenly broke away from the group, trailing up behind Lion with a firm expression and a straight back. Lion paused briefly to listen.
"[Sir, before you go I'd like to apologize on behalf of that Kagran fellow.]" He paused for a moment, gathering the exact words he wished to use. "[I remember being their age. Our leaders put so much anger in our hearts and minds and then we go out and spread it. It's not until you have experiences that you begin to understand. I knew you were a soldier from the moment I saw you. I don't know where you fought or how you lost your body, but I want you to know that men like you change people. Bravery is the same everywhere.]"
He returned Lion's salute before trudging back over to the group. Yanim and Gataska both appeared curious, while Kagran looked away, exasperated. Orik, however, was staring intently at the exchange, his eyes narrowed in a venomous glare. It was only after a few seconds that Lion noticed that Orik's eyes were fixed on Siris, and not him.
Lion, surprised by what Siris said, nodded. When he noticed that Orik was giving Siris a venomous glare he flashe dhis robotic eyes to get Oriks attention before discreetly pointing at Iska who was busy bullying a fellow Khergian.
"Hopefully he would think twice before doing anything dumb." Thought Lion to himself.
((So where is everybody now? Bug hunting or in the ship?))
[We are at the rendevouz point (Sanctum Outpost) waiting for the Helix & Inquisition dudes to brief us and all other NPC's before the actual hunt begins.]
[As far as I know Jeremy, Arthur, Lion, Dwan, Iska, Sledge, Vipe, Tanim, and Varn are in Sanctum. Am I missing anyone else?]
[I think that's it.]
Dwan was watching the commotion around him happen, as he's waiting for the hunt briefing. As he waits, he notices a few mercenary groups selling slaves as fodder that could be used during the hunt. Out of the alien races he can recognize, he recognized a few Rodians, Twi'leks and Vulcans, a couple Togruta, a Gungan, some Rakosans and Gorn, a battle-worn Kaled and a Mentor among others. One of the Twi'leks is giving him a dirty look, causing him some discomfort. He hopes the briefing happens soon, as he feels like one of those slaves is going to attack him.
Iska began walking back to the crew and met Lion on the way.
She looked in the direction he was coming from and noticed he had probably discussed with the Kanads.
"Lion talk with Kanads, yes?" she said and put on put on a slight frown. "Kanad full of themselves, usually not pleasent to have talk with".
Varn decided to leave the ship for a few minutes. If anyone was dumb enough to try and steal it, Sledge would probably educate them on the basics of hammer wielding. He looked around and saw the tipical merc attitude. Arm-wrestling, regular wrestling and boasting. He also saw Dwan looking at the slaves.
"I hope you're not planing to buy any of those.-The bartender gave him confused look-"Nah, you dont look the tipe to own slaves. Those aren't regular slaves either. They're called the golden wave, property of the Gold dusts. Poor bastards are probably gonna get fed to the bugs while the dusts shoot through them, like nothing. Bunch of cowards!"

Lion grunted. "That's funny because they said almost the same thing about Khergians." Said Lion jokingly.
"You know Iska, you could probably benefit alot if you'd actually try to talk with a Kanad. Especially Yanim since the two of you are going to be stuck with ecah other for a long time."

Iska gazed out across the tundra. "Maybe" she replied.
Iska the looked back at Lion snd sighed. "You know what is like to be hated by entire race?" she said, looking into Lions shining eyes trying to determine if this shell of a man had emotions left. "From birth, Kanad told khergians are lesser and primitive. In their eyes khergians are only good as cheap labour and looked down upon, exploited." she continued. "You know this feeling, metalman?"
Jeremy turned around and started to talk to Perra.
"Okay so since we are teaming up, I assume you have an idea as to where the Queen Nest is correct? And if so, mind telling us where and why you think so?" Jeremy asked.
The talking around the outpost slowed down every inch, everyone noticed the announcement speaker on top. The crowd looked in excitement possibly in boredom so they could know what to do in the Inquisition. The eerie silence grew as the Archius as well as Perra's Crew stood where they where. A sudden deep voice popped from the speaker.
"Greetings fellow hunters, I appreciate every crew that is participating in this Inquisition. You're here because Helix Corporation has struggled through dark times as a Screecher Queen is in the mists underground. Our mining operations cannot be complete without help from Rigel's citizens. Thus, we're are willing to offer you 20 Million Credits as a token of gratitude if you show us the dead queen intact."
Bounty hunters and mercenaries grinned in the opportunity they were hearing out, this was too good to be true. "However.." A sudden groan from every participant went inside of each one, what rules could you put in a bug hunt?
"There are is only one rule regarding this Bug Hunt. No bombs must be used on this Queen as we prefer to see it identifiable. The rest is fair game. For detailed information on these Screechers we would like for everyone to have a chance." The announcer regards a holographic figure showing the basic Screecher. "Screechers are 5 Feet Tall, capable of caustic spitting at it's foe, agile as ever and will fight in packs. What's very dangerous about these creatures aren't their physical abilities, it's heavily regarded thump card is their determination to kill people that will possibly threaten their queen. Any pain, any fear, any weakness will not keep them from hunting down their enemies. Be warned now."
The announcer showed the Screecher Queen, three times tall as the basic one, more horns, more claws. Very threatening. "I suggest teamwork is required to kill the Queen, a one man job will only get you killed." The announcer pulled out another holographic, this time showing underground geographics. "What you're seeing are a few dozen nests scattered everywhere, yet are still connected to the Screecher network. Your best chances are deep underground, that is if you don't get killed in a horde of fast angry bugs." The announcer deactivated any remaining holograms and settled for a game.
"Without any questions, let the Inquisition began. Good Luck and may the best crew win..." The speaker stuttered and shut off. The crowds of mercs and crews cheered for glory and proceeded to enter their ships, packing whatever ammunition and weapons they could find. Ships have already begun to find a nest to claim as weapon keepers were getting overwhelmed by consumers. It was up to the Archius Crew and Perra's crew to get that Queen before anyone else could. The Inquisition has started.
"Well what are you waiting for!? Follow us Archius!" Perra shouted out through the hilarious amounts of rushing mercs towards the crew. She along with her crew mates rushed to their medium sized ship.
The kanads each returned to their crews without any goodbyes. Although they feigned intent to remain in contact, the truth was that even those who survive the hunt and remain on Rigel were likely going to be too busy to maintain social lives outside of their own ships. Yanim was no exception, and so she quickly returned to Roughrider and climbed into the copilot's seat to warm the engines up. The crew wouldn't be far behind.
Varn noticed Dwan looking at the slaves. "Those aren't regular slaves. They're called the "Golden Wave", property of the "Gold Dusts". Poor bastards are probably gonna get fed to the bugs while the dusts shoot through them, like nothing. Bunch of cowards!", he tells him. "How terrible.", Dwan replied.
The announcement and briefing began, as Dwan cautiously listened. When it ended and the Inquisition began, Dwan looked over to the "Golden Wave" once more. The Twi'lek who was giving him a dirty look seems to be leading the Wave. Tan skin, battle-worn clothes and bruises on her face. She seems like a fighter. As they go, she turns to give Dwan one last glare, freaking him out. The glaring is one thing, but the tendrils on her head is another. Why did it have to be tendrils?
Dwan turns to the crew, following them back to Roughrider, awaiting further action.
Iska gazed out across the tundra. "Maybe" she replied.

"I do actually, not the exact one but close enough. Before I served in the Sol Special Forces Division I was stationed at a small colony outside of Sol.
It was me and about twenty other soldiers there, we were tasked with protecting the human colonists. Thing is, the planet was already inhabited. The locals hated us.
Everytime we'd escort one of our own through the street they'd spit, clench their jaws and give these looks devoid of any emotions besides hate.
Why? Because when our colonists first landed we bombed three of their cities to make them comply to our terms. Three cities, just so that we wouldn't need to have a whole army there."
Lion finished just as the announcement begun.
When the briefing was done he headed back to Roughrider and unlocked it.
"Alright, everyone strap in. Looks like we're gonna tail Perra for now. Yanim, get that gun online!" Said Lion as he started activating the ship again.
As Viper stood behind Jeremy during the announcement, Viper started to dwelling on fighter squadrons that Viper fought with during the war. One of the reoccurring memories being of when the 7th squadron was sent to cover a retreating UGC battleship as Protectorate squadron torned into the ship's blacken hull as pulse-laser fire poured intro the scrambling interceptors as they came from the burning hangers of the ship. The battle was clearly in the favor of the Protectorate as the UGC ships tired to fall back. the Sanghvi reverse fighters were sent in waves, giving the Protectorate something else to tear apart instead of the already damaged battleships.
Viper was within the rear of the squadron formation, The nervous Sanghvi looked on ahead though mechanic eyes of fighter though the implant was attached to every Sanghvi pilot. A sight of horror as fellow fighters were utterly slaughtered by the Protectorate squadrons. A sight scared into the mind of the young pilot. Viper ship was hit from all directions and catching fire within the small cockpit as the plasma leaks started to the burn the young Sanghvi alive as hard shell started to blacken and crack from the overwhelming heat.
Viper quickly snap out of it after being pushed by several rushing mercs trying to get to there ships as the soon as the announcement was over. Returned to the ship in a unusually haste. Running on all seven limbs, over and under the crowd, often though the crowd mercs. Viper then as stood there within the bay for moment. Overlooking the crew, walking slowly though the ship and check each one individually before walking next to the cockpit. Looking out of the glass cockpit, staring for a moment outside before turning again to face the crew. Overlooking at the all of the crew seated and then turn to look out of the glass of the cockpit and used the legs to stab intro the floor of the hull. Locking in the Sanghvi in place.
Iska shonen up at Lions understanding words and regained her motivation for the mission. Jumping into the roughrider she made a detour to the cockpit and gently clapped Yanim on the shoulder. "Now is time to show what ice princess is made of" Iska said, giving Yanim a big grin. She then returned to her seat and strapped in. "[Let the hunt begin]" she whispered and dunked her LMG against the floor.
Varn followed Dwan to the Roughrider. He got in and strapped himself in and started counting the minutes till they arrive.
Arthur started trembling in anticipation, a knot forming in the pit of his stomach. He thought back to the pirate attack on the ship, how he hid and cried the whole time. Though partially because he did not have a weapon, Arthur's nerves were slowly eating him up. The mad doctor planned to hang back and stay behind most of the crew, providing medical support and utilizing his pathogen gun when needed.
Slowly, he made his way up into the ship, sitting close to Yanim as his eyes started to water.
The rear ramp closed up once everyone was inside. The engines roared and the ship started to take off.
As Perras ship began flying away from the outpost and towards the frozen tundra.
Lion followed, positioning Roughrider on the left hand-side of Perras ship. He turned to Arthur.
"Arthur; tell your lady friend that we're right behind her. The rest of you; If you haven't checked your weapons yet I suggest you do that now."
"W-will do, my friend!" Arthur stuttered out, wiping away the tears long enough to seem presentable to Perra.
"M-my darling! We're e-en route, r-right behind you! I'll probably be in the back, providing a highly important support role for the rest of you!"
"Sure Arthur, try to keep up." She said, hearing some sniffles. 'Is this guy crying?' Perra thought. She put that thought away as she asked Bubal, her pet pilot for some results.
"Bubal, how long til we get there? I'm seriously hoping there isn't a crew around to get a nest in the center of cold tundra." Bubal felt annoyed, he preferred to stay on one objective other than to multi task.
"Ten minutes, center of tundra. Screechers in caves. Should be one"
Viper stood in place as the ship turned and shifted. Staring at the frozen tundra out of the several inches of reinforced glass of the cockpit. This is one of few planets that Viper had visited in the Sanghvi's life and as such its was a very inresteing sight to Viper. Like a endless comet with all of it illuminated up by a star.
