"Hmm, that is odd." Jeremy said.
"A couple of days ago the report file I got said that there would be 11 non-regular crew members...well I assume 11, this guy by the name of Master Chef hasn't given me any information so I will have to contact the higher ups, looks like I will be contacting them about this as well." Jeremy said to Dolosus.
He then went over to his notebook and wrote down what he had to contact the Higher Ups about.
((I would like you to ask for permission to use my character. I'll let it slide for now since when I read a little bit before seeing you use my character, I was going to let you be in charge of the computer security. Just keep in mind for the future that you should ask permission beforehand.))
Dwan grabs the coins and tells Tussor to come again. As Tussor leaves, a German fellow enters the bar.
"Hello Fraudlein!", Joseph said as he entered the bar. "I vould like a mug of beer!", he told Dwan.
Coming right up, pulling out a Maßkrug and filling it with beer. While Dwan does that, the Doctor greets everyone he sees outside the bar. "Hello everyone! If you are in need of medical attention, I can fit you in an appointment in the doctor's office someday!", Joseph says.
"Here's your beer.", Dwan says, handing over the mug to Joseph. "So, you're the doctor? I'm Dwan Theidrum, you can probably guess what I do.". Dwan says, awaiting Joseph's reply.
Kr'fernir suddenly noticed that the whining from the drone had stopped. He seemed to hear what sounded like footsteps closing in on him. Because of the sounds from the engines it was hard to determent from which directions the footsteps where coming from.
Just right before Kr'fernir figured out where the sound was coming from Isaac turned around the corner.
He yelled: "BUG!"
Isaac toke a good grip around his wrench and almost took a swing at Kr'fernir. He stopped in his actions as he noticed the Chief Engineer badge on his shoulder.
"AAAAaaaaaa.....Oh..Hurmp....Sorry about that Chief engineer, sir."
Isaac reached out his hand to greet Kr'fernir.
"I'm not used to seeing other lifeforms then humans. I am Isaac Devol, Robotics engineer at your service. I just fixed a drone back there who had some screws lose."
Kr'fernir makes a strange clucking noise, and then looks the sorry excuse for a crewman over. Ignoring the inefficient greeting, he simply says: "Engineer Devol, go make sure the maintenance bots in jefferies tubes A-3 through B-2 are functioning. After that send me a technical report on them. And if they're the AB-90120 model maintenance droids let me know, those things have horrendous reputations for being faulty and must be replaced wherever they are found."
Kr'fernir clips his auto-tightener to his belt and unceremoniously walks away, he's a xeno alright.
Upon hearing the captain's response, Kr seems oddly unaffected. Who knows what's going on in that weird alien head of his?
After working for several hours on various weapon schematics, Lion decides to head to down to Engineering himself to ask in person for a form of cage mount.
As he steppes through the door he spots two figures greeting eachother, one of which is definietly not human. One was just turning around to leave the room when Lion broke the silence.
"Hello, I am Lion. Pleased to meet you." said Lion before extending his arm. "I wish to request the construction of a cage mount that can be mounted on a Class 3-A type weapons rack. I need it to keep the experimental arsenal safe."
'Good job Isaac, almost hitting the chief of engineer in the head with wrench.' Isaac thought to himself.
'Alright, tubes A-3 to B-2. Not the most glamours first job from the Chief, but i kind of deserved that one.'
As Isaac was about to check the terminal for the location of the tubes he heard: "Hello, I am Lion. Pleased to meet you. I wish to request the construction of a cage mount that can be mounted on a Class 3-A type weapons rack. I need it to keep the experimental arsenal safe."
Isaac turned towards Lion and his eyes lit up. "Interesting" Isaac closed in on Lion and grabbed his arm and stretch is out. He eagerly scanned Lion up and down with his eyes. "What marvelous robotics this is and such a good flow on the movements."
Isaac knocked on Lions chest. "And a very good armor aswell. Defently build for combat....Unit L.I.O.N, who is your builder and or manufacturer?"
"That is classified. Sorry. And for the record, I'm more than just a simple robot. Infact, I used to be human." As Lion looked at Isaac his eye lenses started rotating, allowing him to scan Isaacs face.
"Like you."
"Holy moly!" Isaac said while taking one step back. "They really did it? I read on the Uni-net that they tested the transfer of human mind into mechanical unites. But i did not know they actually succeed."
Isaac keepd staring at Lion for a while marveled at its engineering.
Isaac then quickly remember: "Oh sorry, what was it you asked for? A Class 3-A type weapons rack was it? Give me a sec, i'll call the chief and ask."
Isaac raises his right arm and makes some few keypushing on his Holoband.
"Chief of engineering, this is Isaac. We have a request from Lion for a Class 3-A type weapons rack. Do we have any of those lying around, over?"
"Actually, what I need is just a protective cage mount to isolate one of the racks. As for the mind transfer, yes, they did it and to be completely honest it feels a bit wierd not being in my own body." Said Lion as one of his hands rotated 360 degrees.
As Isaac stairs at Lion spinning hands, he says: " Well it seems to have its benefits."
Isaac one again calls up on his Holoband
"Chief of engineering, this is Isaac again. Lion was actually just requesting a protective cage mount to isolate his Class 3-A type weapon rack. Requesting permission to use some of our materials to build on if we don't have one. Over."
Day 1
Event Roll:[2]As the crew has settled in and met one another they all seemed to get along or at least some. Archius XI has entered through a civilian sector where they thought no harm could be seen ahead. However a frigate from the distance has spotted a wanderer in their sight, finding the Archius out in space all alone.
A greenish man in great armor was on his bridge with similar men in armor. A rather filthy site as trash laid around everywhere.
"Col. Bruta we've identified a wandering ship in our mists. What say we sack them and grab all their loot?!" Their operator on the bridge said in glee. Col. Bruta was intrigued by this suggestion, having one hand between his metal legs as he thinks.
"Definitely, I've haven't seen this sort of ship before. Must be Human. I'd agree with you but I'd rather not destroy it right now. Let's say we demand them to hand over their loot and celebrate for another sack!" Bruta's men cheered in joy as they manned their stations. These men were pirates!
"Hmm? What is this?" Jeremy wondered to himself while looking on the radar.
"Another ship? And it's not moving, Hmm..hopefully these guys are friendly, but I better give the crew a heads up." Jeremy said to himself.
He then worked over to the speaker and spoke.
"I don't want to alarm anyone but the radar picked up a ship, it doesn't seem to be moving but we should becareful, we don't know if these are friends or foe." Jeremy said.
"Okay so I have a few orders, they don't have to be done asap but I would like them done as soon as possible for if the ship decides to board us, we better be ready." Jeremy said.
"Isaac and Kr'fernir, nothing too important but I want you to help Lion if he needs some help with the weapons, we only have Lion working with the weapons so if he needs to get guns to us, or needs them fixed, we will need them done straight away." Jeremy said.
"Joseph and Arthur, do not waste any medicine on any tests, we might need them if we do engage in battle, the rest of you just be ready in case we have to attack. Also if anyone with knowledge of other ships wants to help me out then come to the bridge, I can kinda see it and I want to identify it when it comes closer, I haven't seen many ships lately so my memory is a bit hazy." Jeremy said.
"That is all, if you need me, you can either visit me at the Bridge or contact me via the intercom." Jeremy said, he then hung up and walked back over to the window.
Lion looked up to the intercom speaker in the armory.
"Uh-oh." He walked up to the gun racks and unsealed the racks containing some of the lighter and more close-quarter oriented weapons before pulling them up next to the deployment table.
Using his robotic precision Lion started preparing weapon after weapon, making sure that they were loaded and had at least two spare magazines, batteries, coils or whatever it was that the weapon required for munitions.
After being done readying the weapons Lion walked up to the intercom unit at his desk.
"Captain, sir. Lion here, I just wanted to notify you that I have prepared several weapons good for close-quarters engagements, incase we get boarded."
Jeremy walked over to the intercom after hearing Lions voice.
"Very good Lion, I will keep you updated." Jeremy said, he then hung up.
Upon hearing the captain's orders over the speakers, Arthur saw an opportunity in this potential encounter, and made his way to the bridge. Entering the room in quick form, the scientist spoke up to the captain.
"Jeremy, my friend! I wanted to let you know that as the head of science on board, I accept your requests, and will keep myself and this mad doctor fellow from using any medical supplies for the duration of your choosing."
Arthur smiled warmly towards the captain.
"I'm also glad I have you all to myself, as I have a matter to discuss with you, regarding this foreign spaceship. I would like to make a proposal, in the event that this ship prove hostile and we are able to defeat it. I believe that we should ransack its contents for resources, technology and people. Assuming we meet them as foes, I do not believe that anyone would miss them. They would also make excellent test subjects, to further the course of human science considerably."
Arthur moved in closer.
"Please consider my proposal. I understand that you do not condone taking prisoners, but would this not more than make up for any losses we may take against our potential enemy?"
Lion slowly entered the elevator, carrying several weapons in a small portable rack. After reaching the top floor he went straight to the bridge where a small odd-looking man in a labcoat was twisting his hands in a rather interesting way while slowly talking to the captain.
Lion approached the two, waiting for the man in the labcoat to finish talking.
After listening to Arthur's Proposal, he decided to agree.
"Hmm, that is a good idea, but we will only take 3, then you will clone them and then we will send them off their way unless they still are hostile." Jeremy said.
He then saw Lion in front of the elevator.
"If that is all Arthur, I will be getting back to work after talking to Lion." He said as he slowly walked towards Lion.
"Ah Lion, how are the weapons?" Jeremy asked Lion.
He then saw a portable rack full of weapons.
"Very good, these should be enough for every crew member and I assume there is plenty of army. Fantastic work, just put them next to the elevator doors and you can continue working....unless you have come to see me about something else? Maybe to take a look at the ship?" Jeremy asked.
"Yes Captain, these are the more basic weapons that I prepared. Crew members without any significant training nor experince should be able to fight back efficiently with these."
Lion then nodded at the rack before continuing.
"For your information the majority of these weapons are either handguns or compact full-auto weaponry."
"Very good, these should be enough for every crew member and I assume there is plenty of army. Fantastic work, just put them next to the elevator doors and you can continue working....unless you have come to see me about something else? Maybe to take a look at the ship?" Jeremy asked.
"Understood Captain, I will leave them at the elevator door. Please make sure that the crew arm themselves.
If we survive this eventual battle I will start planning for some basic armed self-defence training hours, if you don't mind that is."
Lion then left the small portable rack at the elevator doors before heading down once again to his armory.
"I suppose three are good enough, though I don't plan to simply clone them. I intend to map out their genomes, and perhaps take their clones apart, all in the name of science of course." Arthur stated, after the strange metallic creature strolled out of earshot.
"Would this be acceptable? I'm not sure who would want them if they turn out to be pirates, but I suppose we could attempt to ransom the originals off to whatever star system may have bounties out for them."
While he was waiting for Joseph to answer him, the captain makes his message over the speakers.
"A foreign ship, huh.", Dwan says to himself. He knew that it wouldn't be sunshine and lollipops on this trip, that's why he brought his own gun with him. A modified Bellevue Ancaria revolver. Carrying .357 Laser Magnum rounds, this baby is a beast to be reckoned with. He keeps the gun under the counter in case things go down. Dwan began to wonder if the ship is going to hand out weapons to the crew.
"I wonder if I should distribute some weapons?" Lion thought to himself.
After giving it a good thought for a minute he decided not to and instead finish his work on the sentry gun schematic, thinking that a sentry gun could have more use than a robot running all over the ship handing out guns.

"Eh...look, clone them, then do whatever with the clones, the originals will be locked up and we can figure out what we will do with the originals." Jeremy said to Arthur.
Arthur grinned wildly at the captain's words.
"Thank you sir! If I come across any research or information that we can use or sell, I shall inform you of my findings ASAP."
Arthur skipped out of the room giggling wildly like a schoolgirl.
Gonna have to delay this event until tomorrow , I'm dealing with some major issues right now, plus Viper got banned so I think we should wait
As Otso walked into the kitchens he donned his chef's hat and got to work prepareing food to be served for whoever decided to come in to the kitchens for a snack or meal. An Assortment of Gorgals with blue cheese, Rozaka Polva, and chicken tenders soon found their way onto the food line and at the end an assortment of drinks includeing Wobba, water, blue milk, and date flavored soda. He looked between his legs to see Jingles rubbing his legs, he smiled as he leaned down and placed a tork fish down for the cat to eat. He stood there waiting for the people to start lineing up to eat. "This is gonna be a good day" Otso thought to himself with a mental smile

Race: Human
Biography: François comes from the most glorious nation on the homeworld, or so he claims. Born into a privileged, comfortable life, he grew up facing no real hardships, as his desires were as limitless as his parent's bank accounts. One night, on his sixteenth birthday, as his mommy tucked him into bed, he decided he was going to be the best food critic that ever lived, the fresh lasting taste of wine and caviar in his mouth pushing him to the conclusion.
Even though François had no remarkable skills whatsoever, his enormous compensative ego did not go unnoticed in his journey to achieve his dreams, and he found himself at the head of a popular reality internet show, attracting a large audience all over the homeworld and the colonies whom needed their fix of watching someone get grilled and torn to pieces for preparing shit food. As his own personal wealth rose, a small spark of ambition and intelligence, as well as tamed genius began to grow inside François at the idea of alien civilisations being constantly discovered, still very unfamiliar and foreign to humans. He would go out and explore and taste all of this new alien food and then bring it home to Earth to introduce it to human civilisation. He would be figurehead of the next chapter in culinary history. To accomplish this, he boarded and joined the crew of the Archius XI with a number of attendants and servants in tow, his purpose clear.
[sp]I hope its not too late to join, I'll snip if it is[/sp]
Never too late to join.
While exploring the ship, Tussor learned of most of the nooks and crannies of its insides. He also heard the warning over the intercom when he was looking at the god damned parrot in the Zoologic Chamber. It didn't take long for the bugger to start, well, parroting every word it heard.
"Quite an intelligent little shit you are, huh?" chuckled Tussor. "I think you'll come in handy if things get really messy..."
For the idea that the pale-headed knucklehead had, anyone who wouldn't know better could've confused him for another person. Well, aside from, you know, the whole marble skin thing - he was practically the only one in the ship with that condition.
The bird was now on Tussor's shoulder as he made his way to his Quarters, where he kept a weapon just in case.

Crew Profession: Janitor
Race: Human
Born into a humble family of farmers, Byron had always strived to see what's out there for years on end. In his late 40s, his life had taken a turn for better or for worse. After being awake for a week straight binge-watching pirate films and reading pirate books while hopped up on no-drowse pills, Byron went insane and began to believe that he was one, since then he has boarded Archius XI seeking high adventure. He religiously drinks rum and enjoys a good fight, and views swabbing the deck as honest hard work.

"Vhoa zis is good beer." He said as he downed the whole mug. Returning the mug and leaving some money for the beer, he heard Dwan sneezing into a tissue.
"Hmm... It seems zat you caught a cold, vould you like to perhaps visit the medicinal office for a prescription later today?"
Kr'fernir is rather displeased with his staff, or rather one staff member. He only has ONE! One lowly robotics engineer that probably doesn't even have experience with Aneutronic fusion systems and who probably can't tell the difference between a tokamak's magnetic torus coils, or those of an antimatter containment/reaction chamber!
He's making do with drones and painstakingly precise settings, but in any sort of event where the ship is damaged he will be shorthanded and overwhelmed from the get-go. Why didn't the freaking meatbags think to hire more of the people that actually MAKE THEIR SHIPS WORK?!
He looks over the weapons as ordered, performs cleaning and general inspections and then goes to the nearest excuse for a Mess or bar to find himself some calcium concentrate to keep his exoskeleton healthy.
"Bar worker, concentrated calcium in a saline solution please! Work quickly, I have much to keep running on this spacecraft."
