Lion looked at Arthur i awe. "My god you must've been the crazy-ass doctor that turned those martian separatists into green blobs. Trust me, your secrets will be kept safe with."
Lion inspected the cage before opening the comms.
"Alright everyone, we can definietly airlift the cage out of here. However, I strongly suggest that we secure the cage untill our wounded are safe. It's your call Cap."
Lion begun starting up the Roughrider. He motioned for Yanim to initiate boosters, to help reduce startup time.
"Hmmm, to be honest, I'd rather have everyone and the Cargo moved to Archius, then once we get healed up, we will take it and collect our prize." Jeremy said.
"Understood Captain, load up Viper and all the other wounded then. We're gonna need to have some people stay behind to guard the carcass as well." Said Lion as Roughrider landed in its original spot.
When all was well except for Viper the Archius crew went back to their main ship to heal all up, their next step was to secure the dead Queen.
Returning to the Archius, Dwan's first priority was to get to the Archives before anyone else does. Arriving at the Archives, he pulls out the electronic card and inserts it into the card reader there. The reader identifies the card as "a real-time card", meaning that it can be updated in real-time, as such, there is no need to change the cards. Dwan has the machine accept the card into its card archive and labels the Golden Wave as a threat to the ship and crew. As the new info spreads throughout the ship, Dwan decided to check out a few of the Wave.
Aver Lagul is the leader of the Golden Wave. A female tan Twi'lek, before being captured by the Gold Dusts, she worked as a agent for a Twi'lek government. She's been taught in multiple ways of identifying people, whether it be smell, taste or sight, she's been taught to identify everything in the known universe. As such, she can easily identify intruders.
Nokhea is Lagul's second-in-command. A female Kastrian, before being captured by the Gold Dusts, she worked as a lone mercenary. Being silicon-based, she's near impossible to kill and can even restore herself under the right circumstances from single particles.
Mavis is the Head of Security and Senior Enforcer of the Golden Wave. A male Kaled, prior to being captured by the Gold Dusts, he worked as a military instructor. Within the Golden Wave, besides his usual duties, he trains new members in the various ways of combat, from melee weaponry to projectile weaponry.
Prawn is the Head of Engineering of the Golden Wave. A male Rakosan, prior to being captured by the Gold Dusts, he worked as a engineer.

These four caught Dwan's eyes the most. He still wonders why they have a business card that contains images and short descriptions of each member. Perhaps they are quite transparent. Either way, he decides to leave the Archive before anyone notices him. He goes up the elevator, stopping at the Armory to leave his weaponry for a checkup, before continuing upwards.
He arrives at the Bar. He is relieved it is intact. He gets straight to work.
When Viper had been dropped off, Lion once again started up Roughrider and began the trip back to the carcass. After a short while, they arrived at beaten up cargo cage.
"Yanim, I'm transferring controls to you. I'll rappel down and hook up the cage right away."
Lion then opened up the rear door and jumped down. Using several magnetspikes, he connected the rope to the four corners before connecting them all to a base which led up to the ship.
He made sure that the cargo unit was sealed before he climbed up on it. "Good to go."
Doing his routine security checks, Dolosus noticed data had been modified in the Archives. It just looked like a regular list of names, but suspiciously had no record of when or who had uploaded the information. The metadata had been encrypted, so Dolosus knew nothing except for the fact that it was a Shiatsu brand 128QB Real-Time card.
Dolosus then took a chance at using a few common decryption methods so he could find out how this mysterious data was put on the archive, and whether there was any further details about this mysterious Gold Wave group.
"Any chance I could talk to the head of security" Lemmy asks with his bass on his back and a holdalls in each hand.
After arriving at the Archius, Varn made a mental list of what he needed to do. Fix his armor, make his report and pick up supplies. He made his way down to the armory and placed the damaged parts on the table along with the tazer upgrade. He then made his way outside the ship to the merc center.
Things were livelier this time around. The different mercs from the bug hunt were there. Each arguing and complaining about how they got screwed more. "We were denied our rightful trophy. We cant return home without the Queen's head..." bellowed a Cabela before being interrupted by a Gold dust "Ah screw your hunting bullshit. We lost money and the Golden wave. Those slaves are worth more than your crews put together." The arguing took its natural course and ended with a bar fight. Varn did the smart thing and stayed out of it.
He did his report, but recieved a curious message "Expect news from the boss later this week. Highly important." Whatever it was it would be a while. Varn made his way back to the ship with the supplies. He went to the armory and started working on repairs.
On his way back he saw Lemmy.
"Well our current lead is in med-bay and the other higher-rank is busy delivering a corpse of a Screecher queen, so I guess I'm it, temporarily."
[Since Sega Saturn a.k.a Yanim is offline I'm just gonna go ahead and procceed with my actions, unless anyone disagrees. I'll be doing some minor NPC-control on Yanim.]
"Understood Lion, beginning our ascension." Replied Yanim as the ship started gaining some height. Roughrider slowly started flying back to the Archius. Lion opened up the comms.
"Attention all Archius personnel, we're coming in with the queen. Secure the perimeter and make sure that nobody tries to breach the ship as we land.
I'm thinking we should head back to the outpost and unload the queen directly from the Archius because Roughrider is running low on fuel and I'd rather not crash in the middle of the tundra."
[hey, people are back at the ship, time to do something!]
Colin saw people start to arrive back at the ship and he took the opportunity to rush over to them with thousands of questions.
"Hello! I'd like to speak to the Captain about his contract, employment and his uh...prize for striking up a deal with my superiors. Then I would like to escor-" Colin began.
He was cut off by the fact they just continued walking past despite his efforts to get their attention.
"Typical clients." sighed Colin, trailing behind them onto the ship.
After arriving at the ship, Jeremy headed to the Bridge where a Pilot came up to Jeremy .
"Captain, there are people outside, do you want me to let them in?" The pilot asked.
"Hmm, they could be the new recruits, yes let them in." Jeremy said.
He then walked to the Announcement Microphone and set it to outside.
"Welcome, I assume you lot are the new Recruits for Archius XI? If so, come in, the doors are now open, come to the Bridge and we will talk." Jeremy said over the microphone.
Lemmy goes in and up to the bridge.
"Hello, Need some muscle?"
Colin held his notepad close to him whilst he boarded the ship, hoping to complete the deal before leaving quickly because staying around on the frozen planet was not in his best interests. He headed towards the bridge.
Lion called Jeremy on the communicator. "Captain, sir, we should be at the Archius in a few with the carcass. Do you want me to prepare some kind of groundtransport so that we can unload her easier or do you wish to invite the Helix fellas' onboard?"
edit: [looks like I missed my chance to talk to the captain for the time being]
Lion called Jeremy on the communicator. "Captain, sir, we should be at the Archius in a few with the carcass. Do you want me to prepare some kind of groundtransport so that we can unload her easier or do you wish to invite the Helix fellas' onboard?"
"Groundtransport would be good, I am don't feel like trusting people with the carcass is a good idea right now." Jeremy said.
"Okay so, you guys are the new recruits? Very good, there isn't really anything you need to do, no paper signing, no tests, nothing really, so if you want you can go around and introduce yourself....speaking of that, I am Jeremy Spacehawk, the Captain of this Fine Ship, Archius IX. Though you guys probably knew that already. Anyway yeah..unless you have any questions, feel free to look around and introduce yourself." Jeremy said.
Upon boarding the ship, Sledge had immediately retired to his quarters. His bare foot had taken on a color and texture similar to his other shoe, so it was impossible for anyone to tell exactly why Sledge was snarling loudly with every other step. To the casual observer, it probably sounded pretty badass.
Once back in his room Sledge assessed the situation. He could see Doc Kraut about it... But wouldn't that be letting the cold win? Pain is weakness leaving the body after all. No pain no gain. Just walk it off.
Sledge slipped another hard leather boot over his hard leather foot and decided on a sprint to the gym for a post-battle 5K. "YEAH, NATURE'S NOT GONNA STOP MY SIX-PACK! HOO-YEAH!"
Sledge got halfway to the elevator when he decided a sprint was too easy and switched to a military low-crawl to isolate his core. But even this was too easy, as Sledge inadvertently overshot the gym entirely and ended up in the medical bay instead. Wow.
"Understood Captain, we're entering the hangar now. I'll see if I can mount some hoverpads on the cage. I'll notify you when we're done down here."
As the cage hit the floor, Lion unhooked the rope. Yanim then landed Roughrider while Lion began mounting hoverpads connected to his wrist-mounted touchpad.
He then began the hard work of stabilizng the cage properly which wasn't easy due to the uneven weight of the carcass.
Varn was working on in the armory. The corrosive spit had nearly destroyed his power source. A few millimeters more and his armor would have become a fancy coffin. He realized he would spend some time in the armory fixing everything and rebooting the VI which operated his armor's capabilities. He turned on the intercom: "Hey can somebody bring some food up to the armory, I'm gonna need it. Also, if your armor needs maintenance or you want some minor upgrades to it, drop it off here."
Iska lit a cigarette while watching Lion mount the hover pads.
Thinking about todays earlier betrayal, Iska frowned and walked over to Lion.
"Friend, if you go to collect prize, Iska will come too for protection"
Lion looked up at Iska. He smiled.
"Thanks Iska, it would feel good to have someone watch my six. Let's hope it won't be needed though."
Lion opened up the comms.
"Attention all personnel, for maintenance of weaponry please turn in your firearms at the box outside of my room inside the armory. Thank you."
Lion turned his attention to the cage. "Now, let us see if this works. Iska, would you like to do me the honor?"
He stretched out his arm, on the touchpad was a large red button-looking icon.
Lemmy walks down to armoury and introduces himself.
"Hey I'm Lemmy, a new recruit. Need a hand with anything?"
Varn noticed the Lemmy.
"Hey Lemmy. The name is Varn. Welcome aboard. As for help. I don't know. Can you fix a Nomad V armor?"-He noticed the guitar-"Cool guitar by the way."
"Iska not fan of touch screen, but will make exception."
As she pressed the button the cage began hovering with a humming sound. Iska looked over and raised her eyebrows;
"impressive, but how we move it?"
"I'm familiar with Nomad IV, but I can give it a go."
Colin raised his eyebrows when he heard the name of the Captain. This wasn't who he was looking for. This was the wrong ship. Oh god he was going to be stuck in space with people he didn't know. He was going to die.
Colin then took a moment to calm himself and think about what was happening. He was leaving his dead-end boring job, he had practically stolen money if he wasn't returning and he had imense knowledge of literature and universal economics. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. He would contribute to the crew and they would most likely get along. Perhaps, for once, he could enjoy what he was doing. Colin smiled to himself before finding a map of the ship, hoping to find somewhere he could begin his job as a scribe, something he'd waited months for.
Arthur slung Viper onto a gurney brought out by the mad German doctor, and rushed the mantis into the medibay posthaste.
"Hold on my friend, Once we have you stable, Joseph will look after you and make sure you heal up just right." He said to Viper, reassuring the thrashed alien as he turned to Joseph.
"He's breathing, but I'm still worried about his general condition. After he's in bed and I'm sure he's fine, I'll leave him to you, alright?"
Lion smiled at Iska. "Like this." He began projecting a small hologram showing the cage. As Lion began moving his hands slowly the cage moved back and forth.
"Captain, we're ready with the carcass. Just tell us when to unload it." As Lion had worked on the cage he had also monitored the situation of Viper.
"Arthur and Joseph, I suggest you put Viper in zero-G. It will surely help the recovery."
As the incapacitated Sanghvi was carried off to a landing shuttle, It all felt strangely comfortable. As Viper turn her head seeing the soft-carbon crewates watching over her, Viper started to dazes off and begin to remember her first time she was taken to medical station.
It was after her first battle that left the burned Sanghvi trapped within a burned down fighter in voids among her fallen comrades. With the only thing that injured Sanghvi could do was look out to the stars and wreckage of destroyed ships until a savage crew came and found the Sanghvi barely hanging on as the Sanghvi was unable to move and could only watch as the soft-carbons dragged her aboard a cold room within there ship. There they started to work the Sanghvi, unfortunately there sedatives had no effects on the Sanghvi and she was held down by a team of soft-carbons as there doctors had to work on her. A experience that Viper would like to forget. After the operation, the Sanghvi was held within the small room with a table with a chair on each side. The Sanghvi seem to have been given a scar and a some kind implant on the side of her head after the Sanghvi. It didn't take long for the implant activated giving Sanghvi a transcript on what happen during the battle. The Sanghvi was sadden to learn the fate of the squadron, they were killed to the last but managed to save the cruiser. However, the implant then turn on it's primarily function. Hearing, it was very disorienting process to the Sanghvi.
Viper was taken out of thought as a large pain started coming her inter crest. A infection.
[ BTW Sanghvi are highly vulnerable to micro bodies, bacterial and such. Along with the fact that due to there rarity, very few medic operation have been done on Sanghvi with even fewer surviving. ]
