Iska noded and and walked over to Lion. "Ok, so here is how we do. We stop by market and restock. After this I drive you and rest of guys back to ship, you take queens head and unload supplies. Then Iska will bring queen to death furnance and return truck. Sound like plan?" she said. Iska waited for Lion to think about it and respond.
Lion nodded. "It's been a pleasure doing business, sir." He made a quick salute toward Seventhian.
He looked to the group and waved with his hand.
"Let's go then, close the hatch and I'll re-engage the hoverpods. We'll load her up onto the truck then go through with Iskas plan."
He began tapping at his wristpad.
The Feeblian was in the reception room arguing with the receptionist. "What do you mean you don't need a biologist anymore? I need your company to fund my research." Ah'choo. "Oh dear. I just sneezed all over your documents and clothes. I am so sorry." The Feeblian tries to clean up the sticky mess. "Oh no, its all sticky and smearing. I am so sorry."
As Iska closed the hatch she backed up a bit, brushing of her hand before bumping into something.
Iska looked behind her, but nobody was there. She then looked down on a feeblian trying to clean snot of documents. Iska hunched down and spoke in a friendly tone. "Look around friend, next time you might get squashed.". Iska grinned jokingly a bit then swung Jorvu across her shoulder and began walking out of the reception following the cage. Iska shouted to Lion; "Lion could check ship log for updates, maybe new crewmembers need picking up on way back, no?".
"Hey, a feeblian. These guy rarely travel outside their home planet." Varn climbed inside the truck and sat next to the cage. "I suggest picking this guy up. If he's into science, maybe he can be useful to the crew."
The Feeblian runs after her, leaving the receptionist and her documents covered in snot. "Wait, might you need a biologist? I just got fired and need some work. Would your ship have use of a biologist?" The Feeblian didn't get far before he ran out of breath trying to keep up.
Iska looked down on the frail little being. "Small and weak usually smart" she concluded while scratching her head. Isks gestured towards the truck. "You get ride to ship, captain will decided about work."
She jumped into the drivers seat and started up the truck with a loud rumble and waited for the feeblian to board,
and then took off to the yarheim bazaar.

[Iska will follow the plan, but I'm going to bed now so npc is active]

Squish remarks to Iska. "I hope the receptionist isn't too angry about the snot."
Lion looked at the little green figure. He pointed towards a small flatbed area inbetween the cage and the cockpit. "Climb on, we're leaving in three mikes."
[Heading off to bed now, truck is heading back to the Archius.]
Squish climbs into the back of the truck willingly. He curls up his legs to his chest. "Why does this feel like I am a prisoner? I don't do well in prisons. I must follow my strict diet, or else I could have an allergic response. I don't want to happen what happened last time I had an allergic response." Squish shudders at the thought.

Colin raised his eyebrow as someone entered the archive room. He didn't think people would often visit the archives because they didn't know what they were doing or they found it boring.
"Hello. I presume you must be another crew member. I don't think we've met...ehm who are you exactly?" asked Colin, having not heard what the pocket translator and the woman herself said.
"Yanim Sidikan, maintenance technician," she repeated with an outstretched hand. "and you?"
"Colin Oxfon, scribe of the ship. Pleasure to meet you Yanim. Did you come here for something?"
Yanim nods with an audible "hmph" as she retrieves the logic card from her coat pocket. "This card is not formatted. I will define format... preshimt [parameters] working here. I must use a special write method from archive console, can't download over network or else fail to define format... eh, per-ah-me-ters." After saying these things, Yanim realized that, even if Colin understood her garbled response, it would have no objective meaning anyway. She shrugged. "Is for drone," she summarized.
"Well to meet you, Colin," she said with a smile before proceeding with her plans.
((We're good Potaji, I just wanted to introduce myself))
Sledge didn't notice the little green man until after he'd taken his seat in the truck. "Ah, uh... Uhhh..." Sledge stammered as he looked away. He was all too aware of the Feeblians. In fact, he was terrified of them. They were one of the most vulnerable sentient races in the galaxy. Sledge already had a bit of an issue with causing unintentional bodily harm to others. The thought of being in the same room as a creature that could be taken out with an ill-timed fart filled Sledge absolute dread.
Sledge was unnaturally quiet and reserved on the trip back, afraid to even make eye contact with the Green Man.
"Ehm...sure." responded Colin, who was clueless at this point.
As the woman proceeded with what she was doing, Colin's worries started to appear once more. Maybe he could just stand by the entrance of the ship for a while. Get some air. He had never been in this kind of situation before, instead he often only had to think about his own safety.
"I'm just going to go outside. Don't break anything, please. I spent ages tidying and updating the archives!" shouted Colin as he went to leave.
On his way down to the ship entrance, his mind began to wander.
[ My post before my interaction in the Archives now takes place I guess so I'm now just daydreaming. Colin is now NPC cos I need to go out and then sleep. ]
Varn was busy examining the queen to notice Sledge's silence. "When we get back at the ship, I'm gonna need your help to carve this...what do terans call it.. turkey? What the.." his comm lit up
("Hello Varn, long time no hear.)
"Oh, hello again Sasha. Let me guess, you're mad because we killed the queen?"
("You know how to read me. That's and extra 20 million you owe me. And if you want to know where I am, look at the truck that's tailing you. Your team is lucky the code forbids us fighting unless there is a contract, but we will be ready.")
"For the last time I don't owe you anything. But here, let me give you something for the bug hunt." Varn looked at the truck tailing behind them. It was far enough not to look suspicious. He looked at the queens legs. Big and thick enough to cause a roadblock, or slow down a big truck. He looked at Sledge. "Sledge, help a brother out. Can you tare off one of the queens legs and chuck it at the road? That truck is following us and I think my ex is in it."
Squish turns to Varn. "What do you mean there is a vehicle following us? I am not one for violence, let me out. This is really affecting my blood pressure."
[editline]15th April 2015[/editline]
The poor Feeblian seizes up and remains motionless in the back of the truck.
"Relax, she is just blowing smoke. Ill handle it when we get back to the ship." Varn called Lion on his com. "Sir, my past is biting me in the ass and is driving a truck. Best to keep going like nothing is happening. When we get back on the ship Ill spill my guts about it."
[And I'm going to bed]
[seems I lost what's happening (again)...was busy doing stuff today]

[Basically you didn't actually overhear that conversation between Dwan and Arthur since it was explicitly private. Lion, Iska, Varn, and Sledge went to go collect our bounty for killing the Screecher Queen, which we did without incident and we're now on our way back but we're being followed. We also picked up Sparkeagle's character, named Squish, who's a Feeblian biologist.
Also some things happened that didn't involve Sledge making them objectively unimportant. :v:]
[will do, I guess I'm still sitting in the bar...still]
[The Feeblian race will destroy the universe, one snot covered document at a time.]

Sledge welcomed any reason to move away from Greenman. "YOU GOT IT BROTHER!" Sledge pulled his hammer from his belt and with a few twists of its controls had a splitting axe. With a light swing he easily broke off one of the larger chitinous leg pieces. Lifting it over his head like an enraged gorilla holding a barrel, Sledge kicked open the rear door of the truck and hurled the leg chunk at the pursuing vehicle!
Life signs on the high tec monitor were going down, Joseph sighed and made sure stabilization was at a priority, "No. No. Don't giz up on me damnit!" He was almost done with the head but more and more problems came up like crazy bugs out of a sack. Things were going out of his control. Joseph multitasked to hell and back. He was doctor, how could he give up now, especially on a crew member.
The broken shell suffered a ton of great infection, the good Doctor noticed this and quickly patched it up before something got worse. Yet life signs were still going down, Viper was in critical condition. He found a set of pressure tools and made sure the shoulder wound can be fixed. It's like things were meant to be this way, 'whatever ze case dying is not an option for thiz alien.' Joseph remarked as he went war with death.
It was clear death was winning. No matter what Joseph did things would get worse, what were the problems? The wounds are patched barely but what else could he do?
"Life signs are decreasing, critical condition." The medical AI stated as the doctor worked, he turned and made a furious expression. "Shut it you damn thing!" He responded in anger. Micro bacteria were most likely infecting the Sanghvi, Joseph sprayed some anti bacterial infection on the head first, then the shoulder, then the shelled torso. Yet life signs were still decreasing. Decreasing to the point of death, what Joseph hated. How could a doctor like him not keep this creature alive? He was a pretty damn good doctor too.
"Live damnit!" Joseph yelled out, eyes couldn't focus one area. The constant beeping gave him a splitting headache, Viper didn't deserve to die yet. It was pointless, no other options. Joseph turned to the life signs and noticed they were plummeting, his eyes widened and saw the frail Sanghvi on it's last breath. "No. You will not die on my watch." He remarked, determined to finish this operation and made sure Viper was going to be okay. It was almost a blur of events as time went by, Joseph really did tried. But to no avail. He saw the last beep, tempering his mind. He stood there in silence. Death won this war and Joseph had to suffer for it.
Right?
Another beep sounded, the Doctor widened his eyes and saw the life signs at a very very critical but stable condition. This was another miracle. "But how?" Joseph questioned he worked his best to get this alien to survive. Perhaps Viper cheated death just this once. Fortunately things were going to be okay. Viper will be okay. This was a successful operation, but barely.
As Lion heard Varns message he laughed a bit, just to become silent as one of the legs came flying out the back. It effectively stopped the other truck as the leg went deep into the front.
"Well that's one way to solve it..."
The truck was now a couple of meters from the Archius, a few moments later the truck went up the ramp leading to the hangar bay. They then stopped and the engine turned off.
"Alright kids and Sledge, we're home! Saddle down." Said Lion as he disembarked. He then began dismounting the cage.
The Feeblian remains motionless in the truck.
Colin watched as the rest of his crew began to return from the trip as well as what looked like a new recruit. Colin's worries began to disappear and he made his way to comms, eager to know what happened.
[Going to bed. Sledge is now an NPC.]
As Lion had finished unloading the queen, he brought out a large energy-saw from the rear of the truck.
"I suggest you stand back." He said before a group of tiny drones began scanning the large corpse before converging on the area around the head. They then started project a thick line around the neck.
Lion then swung the energy-saw towards the mark and begun decapitating the head. Green drops of blood started splattering all over the saw and Lion himself.
