Lion received the message and was already on his way to the medbay. As he got inside the room he immeadiately noted his Sanghvi superior staring into one of the observation cameras. Lion was surprised to see the mantis-like creature already back o his feet and decided that he should probably talk to him. He went for the isolated-care room where Viper was and had to go through a cleaning procedure before entering. He silently entered the room, observing Viper, before making a rather loud salute. "Sir! I heard you scared the crap out of one of Josephs assistants." He chuckled. "How do you feel? You're up awfully fast." [Like I said, hoping to get someone to help my character through the ship.]
Jeb hesitated before asking his next question, "And what do you like least about being on the crew?"
[Was busy, sorry] "Not enough stuff to hammer."
Jeb looked back as Sledge. "I have never heard an answer like that before...I'm just gonna back away...slowly"
Jeb looked back as Sledge. "I have never heard an answer like that before...I'm just gonna back away...slowly"
Sledge snorted. "If I had a nickel..." He chuckled as he stepped around Dr. Feelgood and entered the bar. There he saw a few familiar faces and a few new ones. He took a seat at the bar and placed his hammer (softly this time) on the counter along with another crumpled fistful of dollars. "Jack and Coke, thanks." Turning to the others at the bar, he introduced himself to the new folks in the usual way. "My name is Sledge and these are my hammering muscles. On a scale of yes to incredible how much do I impress you?"
Dwan sees Sledge enter the bar. "Jack and Coke, thanks.", he asks. "Alright. Nice to see your manners have improved.", he says as he pours a Jack and Coke. He gives it to Sledge, taking the money while doing so.
( Viper can't stand due to two of viper's legs bring broken, literally to pieces ) As viper stood, hanging on the stretcher using the Sanghvi's left back talon to spport the single leg left on the ground. The door to the room open again, Viper was eager to get some answers. The stood confused for a few moments until finding biped that entered. Due to the low heat signature, it was hard to see loin in the Sanghvi's thermal vision. Viper recognized that the biped was mechanical. The biped did a terran salute to Viper and what viper could tell, tired to talk to Sanghvi with vocal communication. Viper figured out that the mechanical biped was security officer Lion and tired to say though Sanghvi body movements, hoping that Lion could pick up on them though his mechanical sensors. Thank you for coming to see me but I I'm currently lacking any way of communication vocally. Viper said though movements.
"Spaska teres," Yanim says in response to Sledge without having actually listened to what he said. "<Hello human.> I remember you at the hunt. You are the one having one shoe. Happy to know that you found its other. Have you ever met a kanad before?" ((going to dinner, will be back soon.))

((going to dinner, will be back soon.))
((I'm having trouble being in character right now because I'm super tired)) "Haha, yeah. My foot was gross. I microwaved it though. All better," Sledge chuckled. "Also I've seen Kanads around before, but they never seem too interested in talking to me. Most of them just call me a 'Yatara Barbem' and walk off. To this day no clue what it means." ((EDIT: Gonna sleep for a while. Will post when I wake up.))
"Most of them just call me a 'Yatara Barbem' and walk off.
Yanim clutched at her coat pocket but wasn't able to stop the translator from chiming in. "<Clueless cock-bulge,>" it gracefully equivocated. It was the sort of insult that was typically reserved for kanad naval troopers who return home with massively inflated egos and exaggerated tales about their exploits. She could immediately understand why they had called him that, but she really didn't want to have to explain exactly what the insult was referring to. It wasn't in her best interest to tell the muscle-bound hulk in front of her why he should be offended. She sneered nervously. "Well, now you know..."
"<Clueless cock-bulge,>" "Well, now you know..."
Sledge narrowed his eyes, peering at the Kanad intensely... before bursting into jovial laughter that brought him to tears. "HAHAHA! THAT IS HILARIOUS!" Sledge pounded the counter loudly with his fist. "I had no idea your people had such colorful insults! It always just struck me that they were being aloof and stuck-up and calling me a commoner or something but THAT! *POUND* IS! *POUND* GOLD! *POUND POUND*!" Colin walked into the Bar only to see quite a few people inside. He ignored all of them, sighed, and made his way to the seat in the corner he had been in earlier. Once there, he continued to clean his glasses multiple times before letting his mind wander and question. Right now, he had some decision making to do.
Squish stumbles through the bar door backwards and tumbles onto the floor. "Oh no, my glasses. Who would make such long and confusing hallways? It's impossible for me to find this captain."
Lion saw Viper gesturing and assumed he attempting to communicate, he began scanning the pattern of the talons and nodded as he received his message. Lion then began projecting a small hologram showing a pair of Sanghvi talons, the talons began moving as to say "Sir, good to see you're still alive. I will come back in an hour with something to help you." He then quickly scanned Viper before hurrying out of the room. He went for the bar and spotted Yanim. Just the person he was looking for. He went up to her and did a quick Kanad bow. "Yanim, I need your help with thing. It's related to both engineering and Viper. Come see me in the engineering bay ASAP." Lion then rushed down to the engineering bay and uploaded the scan of Viper which appeared as a hologram. All the wounds and cracks to the shell in red. "Let's get to work."
Jeremy has been sitting in the bridge doing paperwork for so many hours that he was starting to get thirsty, he decided to go to the bar. "Hello Dwan, could I have a Rasberry Fanta please?" Jeremy asked.
Squish stumbles through the bar door backwards and tumbles onto the floor. "Oh no, my glasses. Who would make such long and confusing hallways? It's impossible for me to find this captain."
Jeremy looked over and saw the alien on the ground, Jeremy got up, walked over and picked up him up. "Heh, there is a map in every room, you probably missed it, you can have mine." Jeremy said as he got his map out, he then put it into the Aliens pocket. "Anyway you don't have to go to the Bridge since I am Captain Jeremy Spacehawk, please sit down and grab a drink. I assume you are one of the new recruits?" Jeremy asked ((The map is the layout from the OP fyi))
The Feeblian looks to the captain and refuses the drink. "I have to stick to my diet. I am highly allergic to many things. I am looking to study life in the universe to better understand it. Might you need the services of a small biologist?"
Iska rose from her bed and stretched. She walked over to the jukebox and tapped random. To her delightment, Mötorheads Ace of spades started playing and she decided to do some push-ups. After she finished she noticed something sticking out from one of the pouches in thr battlebelt. Pulling it out she noticed it was Vipers talon. Reminded of her fate, Iska put on her boots and headed over to the medbay. As she entered she noticed Viper laying on a stretcher. She walked over and put the talon on the table next to it. She pulled a chair next to the stretcher and sat down, thinking that even if Viper couldn't understand her, she could at least appreciate that someone was by her side. A soothing calm hung over the room, while Iska sat and watched the sleeping sanghvi. This gave her some time to think. Maybe she should discuss with Dwan and they should reach a middleground on this magic ordeal. It was not good to have a crewmate as an enemy, she reckoned. She watched Viper once again and marveled how she had survived. After sitting around for a while, even Iska fell asleep in the chair.

Arthur still waited for the captain in the bridge, beginning to grow tired of waiting for him to wake up and meet him. Imagine his surprise when the captain walked straight past him and began to do paperwork, completely ignoring the geneticist. His surprise turned to minor resentment and sadness when Jeremy finally got up, walked towards him... and then started walking out of the door, to the bar. Maybe Jeremy didn't realize that someone was waiting to talk to him.
"Alright, captain.", Dwan says as he pours Jeremy a glass of Raspberry Fanta, who was talking to a feeble looking fella. As he continued to clean the counter, Dwan decides to change up the music he's been playing this entire time in the bar. He grabs the bar's media player's remote and changes the song he was playing on loop to a playlist filled with good old R&B and jazz.
Lion had been working in the engineering bay for almost an hour straight without pause. Determined to help his injured crewmate, Lion ahd begun working on a exo-suit specifically made for Viper. While engineering wasn't his primary expertise, Lion had done his fair share of engineering tasks early on in his military career. The suit was still a bit rough, Lion hoped that Yanim would help him finalize the design. He observed what he had done so far and crossed his arms. "Hopefully this will work."
Varn got up from his seat, drink still in hand and walked to Collin. "This seat taken?" not waiting for an answer he sat down. "I've been reading the info you dropped off at the armory. Its incomplete. Don't worry, its not your fault. You were dealing with standard galactic info and the big archivists get lazy when it comes to the underbelly of society like me. I want you to take this."-Varn unplugs a part of his armor- "It acts as a memory stick. It has groups, names, equipment and even some schematics. Dig through it when you have the time and upload anything you think is relevant. When you're done, drop it off at the armory."-he gets up and walks back to the bar. "Nice music you have here Dwan."
Lion was quick to recognized the Shanghvi's body language, as expected by Viper. Taking only a moment the Lion displayed a pair of holographic Sanghvi talons, using them to communicate. The Sanghvi read "Sir, good to see you're still alive. I will come back in an hour with something to help you." After that, Lion left as quickly as he left. Viper knew that Lion was a very dependable officer under Viper's command. A sharp pain started to come from the inter shell, most likely the core trying to self-repair itself from the infection substantiated earlier. The Sanghvi started climb back onto the stretcher, laying on the side. Viper begin to go unconsciousness as the pain started to become more severe. Awakening within later during the night, finding a large soft-carbon was across from Viper. It didn't take too long for Viper to figure out it was Iska, even though the Sanghvi could not see the fine details that many soft-carbon races had. They could instead see there individual thermal signatures and tell witch one was witch after a while. Viper felt very comfortable to have friend within the room, watching over the Sanghvi. Even if they couldn't understand each other.
"Thanks, I only play the best for the bar.", he replies to Varn, smiling.
Colin raised his eyebrows at the 'memory stick' but saw it as a opportunity. It would distract him from his current thoughts which were not exactly cheerful. Colin straightened his shirt before standing up and making his way out of the door, trying to draw as little attention to himself as possible. Once in the archives, he began to look into the "new" information on Varn's so called memory stick.
Arthur was on the verge of suicide from having to wait for the captain for so long. Eventually, he gave up, intending to hit the bar to drink and cry his sorrows away. When he got there, Arthur could feel a tumour coming on from the sight he saw; the captain wasting his time away drinking. Suppressing the urge to find a sharp piece of metal to assault someone with, he walked to the bar, sat down next to Jeremy and ordered a drink. "Dwan, my... friend. I'll have some Arbor Gold, if you have any." He turned to Jeremy. "Hello there, captain. I've been waiting for you, for a good 6 or so hours. But ah... let's forget about that, shall we?" Arthur said, as his eyes and stare slowly became less intense and murderous. "I've been meaning to follow up with my request, previous to the Screecher hunt. I wanted to see what you think about making my temporary head of science position permanent. I think I quite deserve it, given my sound decision that ended up netting us around 20 million credits, plus my other scientific achievements. Your thoughts?"
[Done.] Lion was beginning to give up all hope when Yanim finally entred the room.
Yanim shuffled into the engineering bay with a headache, having ingested a drug-cocktail including an iomazenil-derived formula to cancel her intoxication. It was standard procedure in the kanad navy, even among technicians and logistics personnel, to use them in case of an unexpected exercise during what would normally be "recreational hours." Kanads in general are very sensitive to the effects of alcohol. She wasn't sure why Lion needed her so urgently, but it provided her a perfect opportunity to leave the bar smoothly and get away from Sledge, not that she had anything against him. The man was obnoxious, but in a humorous way, and she was relieved to see him laugh rather than take offense at what other had said about him. She returned to her quarters for about an hour to suffer the ill-effects of the sobering medication before emerging in a lucid, albeit uncomfortable state. As she entered the room, she was greeted with a large hologram depicting Viper's current condition. Kanads do not breathe through their mouths, and so Yanim was incapable of gasping, although she stood in shocked silence at the sight of the damage. Lion was nearby with a projection of some sort of protective suit. Instantly, she knew why she had been requested. "Lion," she began, "Viper's... condition, it will require bio-engineering to recover all function... I am not experienced in this field. Here-" she says, pointing to the location where there had been a neural implant, "there was device which enabled communication. I can venture to replace, but cannot attach. Joseph will need to attach..." She shook her head in exasperation at the injuries. After having already spent so much time that day in the engineering bay, only now did she feel challenged. Her pet project didn't matter any more. The logic card in her pocket would become the new sensory implant for Viper. ((Edit: Dammit, you requested my help at what was basically 5AM for me, I got back to you as soon as possible. Could you possibly retract your last post? I'd like to be involved in this.))

"Arthur, you are now the permanent head of science." Jeremy said as he tapped the new info into the computer via his Arm Device.
[Is okay bby.] "Lion," she began, "Viper's... condition, it will require bio-engineering to recover all function... I am not experienced in this field. Lion turned to Yanim and nodded to what she had said. "I know, it won't be easy but I'll be damned if won't be able to pull this off. I've already started working on the blueprints for various pieces, together they will form a sealed suit in which Viper can heal and grow strong once more." He gestured towards the various tools. "All I need help with is the prcatical work, as well as some input. The rest my head can figure out." He chuckled. "This is one of those times when it helps to have a computer inside your head."
