Varn finished his drink and left the glass on the bar. "Thanks for drink Dwan, Ill keep you updated if something happens." He headed outside and made his way down to the medical bay. He wanted to see if there was any update on Viper.
Iska woke suddenly when she began sensing a falling feeling, but in this moment it was to late. Iska hit the floor with a loud thump. She stood up and brushed herself. She decided to head down to the engineering room, where she had heard Joseph saying they we're going to make something for Viper. As she was about to exit she noticed a computer with Sanghvi biology on its display.
She skimmed through it and headed down to the engineering hall.
Iska entered the room and stopped in the door. "Iska will help rocklady too" she announced to Yanim and Lion, before walking over to the drawingboard with the hologram.

Arthur's eyes lit up, as he let out a warm, genuine smile.
"Thank you, my friend! You will not regret this. I suppose nothing much will change, given that I've held the temp position for a while already. Though, I suppose it may free up the role of geneticist, but I'm more than happy to continue my work in both roles. Details, details..." Arthur's voice trailed off, as he noticed a scared, green alien sitting on the other side of Jeremy.
"...Is that a... Feeblian? Oh my. I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of meeting one of your race before. How interesting! A new recruit? I doubt your kind would be that good in enforcement, so I'm guessing a new engineer?" Arthur launched into a range of questions, trying his best to suppress his urge to poke the alien all over.
As shanghvi was resting Iska within medical room, Lion returned with another soft-carbon into the room who new engineer Yanim if Viper was not mistaken. The two started to talk to each other. Yanim was starting to gesturing and presumably talking to one Lion before Lion started gesturing towards his tools.
The Shanghvi started to talk to Lion though the movements. Saying "Lion what are you and the crew doing? Why are you working so hard to keep me alive? I'm too damaged to be of used, You would better suited to find another officer who is more worthy then I." As all Shanghvi lack self preservation due to there hive like community. With the heavy injured being disposed of and there shells broken down for the next generation.
[Mate, we're in the engineering bay. Sorry for the confusion, I didn't expect Sega to come online so I snipped the other post.]
Yanim approached the workbench with the suit projection. At first it wasn't clear how Lion was able to design anything without first preloading Viper's biometrics into the virtual workspace, but then what Lion said- "this is one of those times when it helps to have a computer inside your head" sank in. He understood Viper's biometrical data intuitively. Yanim would need some help to do the same, so she waved her hand across the touchscreen to copy the projection onto the adjacent workbench. There, she uploaded the biometrics from the hologram into the workspace, proving that Lion's measurements were accurate.
However, there were aspects of engineering which required understanding of conceptual models, which was Yanim's forte. She instructed the console to run a dozen mechanical simulations with a hypothetical "rig" to fill in for any missing pieces of the suit. They would do their work simultaneously and then cross-tabulate the performance results to track stress points under a variety of conditions. While it worked, she moved to the table she had been using for her personal project. With the flick of a wrist, the project was sent into memory storage to clear space for the new sensory implant.
Lion had already partially completed the blueprint for the new device using neural-bridge designs available from the archive. Yanim would have done the same, as these designs were universal and easy to work with. She plugged in the logic card and began simulating the presence of the neural bridge. The card was loaded with multiple language interpreters and was modified to accept streaming-updates, which would allow Viper to wirelessly update the software in order to "learn" new languages.
The simulations completed; Lion had been fundamentally sound in all of his design choices but in many cases the pieces could be improved with superior materials and slightly-altered mechanical details, usually no more than millimeters in size. Together they set about machining the parts. Yanim multitasked, working with 3D-printers, welding, grinding, polishing, and soldering while also continuously updating the workspace projection and running tests on the new sensory implant. Around this time, Iska entered the room and boldly joined in the commotion. Yanim had no reason to question her ability to machine parts, since the design work had already been done, and so the work was split between them. She proved invaluable as work could progress at nearly double the speed.
One by one, the completed pieces materialized, and Lion began assembling them on a stand which was, for convenience, already placed on a handcart for transportation. It was a feverish two hours, but Yanim was ready and willing to dedicate as much time as necessary to bring Lion's project to fruition. When it was ready, it was the most sophisticated device Yanim had helped assemble since leaving the academy.
"The computer says we're ready," she said, slowly. It was difficult to believe that something so complicated could be built in such a small amount of time, but the device matched the blueprints exactly, and the computer models vouched for the design's integrity. Without ever being used in the real world, Yanim had no choice but to believe that it would work on the first try.
"It's even better than I imagined it. Good work Yanim." He smiled before walking up to the suit. He then clicked a button which caused the armorcase to pack up in an instant.
Lion turned to Yanim. "Let's go show this to Viper."
"I can't believe how quickly you must have drafted it," she replied. "It was near perfect before I even laid hands on it. Iska, thank you for helping. Will you come with?"
[Holy shit I totally missed Iska, sorry Radley. :v:]
[No worries]
Iska smiled at Yanim. "Only cause khergian big race not mean we are not good with small equipment".
She looked over at the armour, which was now neatly folded in tha case.
"Iska will come" she replied confidently.
"Let's go then." Lion, Iska and Yanim began walking towards the medbay. When they got there, they all entered Viper's room together.
Lion began projecting the talon-holograms once more. The talons began moving: "Sir, I have finished my work on something that will ease your current situation. Let me present to you the LWA Mantis Exosuit. Please bear in mind that engineering isn't my original field of work."
He smiled and looked at Yanim & Iska. "Luckily I had some help."
The hologram ceased to be and Lion deployed the grey box.
The upper lid slid off and several small zero-G generators turned on, making several pieces of armor hover above the box. One by one the pieces started hovering and eventually formed a, albeit larger, mechanical Sangvhi shape. The armor was colored in a subtle white and grey scheme, with some chrome details here and there that shined brightly in the medical room.
The talons were shaped just like Viper's, just like all the other parts of the armor. Infact, each armorpiece was a perfect replica of Viper's shape.
Lion clicked on a button and all the pieces opened up, revealing a white inside. Most impressive about the armor was the helmet, which looked like a larger version of Viper's head with the exception being the blue-colored visor and what appeared to be a built-in rebreather, alongside a small side-mounted antenna for communications.
The main body had several small chrome-colored sphere's mounted on the shoulders and between the talon-joints. Black texting on the pods said "Nanobot Pod - Handle with care!".
Lion then turned to Viper and presented a small chip-like device. He made a gesture towards the throat before extending his arm, allowing Viper to grab it from the stretcher.
-snip-
As Iska left the medical room, the Shanghvi started feel a sense of dread. Within the cold, empty room until noticing that Viper's right upper talon on table next to the stretcher. The Shanghvi's picked up it's severed limb, taking a while to look over the broken arm. Viper started to think about the Shanghvi's current state and the what little usefulness that Viper has to the rest of the crew.
As Shanghvi was inspecting the talon, the door open. Lion returned with another soft-carbon into the room. The soft-carbon was likely the new engineer, Yanim if Viper was not mistaken along with Iska carring a large metal crate. As before Lion started using the holograms of a Shanghvi's talons, saying : "Sir, I have finished my work on something that will ease your current situation. Let me present to you the LWA Mantis Exosuit. Please bear in mind that engineering isn't my original field of work."
The crate opened showing off, the engineers and lion had been working on. In a few minutes a metallic exo-suit formed as a almost perfect recreation of a Shanghvi hunter's shape, only being a tad larger and wider. Viper was in awe of the Lion's craftsmanship and looked as Lion did a short gesture on the throat and extend his arm towards Viper. With a small device in hand, the Shanghvi took the device and planted it on the font the of neck of the as gestured.
"Sir, you may speak once again." Lion clicked on his wristpad, to which the throat device responded with a beep.
Dwan noticed someone entering the bar. It was Arthur and he looked like he was going to shank someone. He sat down next to Jeremy. "Dwan, my... friend. I'll have some Arbor Gold, if you have any.", he said as he turned to Jeremy. Dwan checked the exotic drink cabinet and found some Arbor Gold. He pours him a glass of it, looking at him very suspiciously. As he handed him his drink, he decided to listen to the conversation the two were having.
"Congrats on being named the permanent head of science.", Dwan said, as he poured Arthur more of the wine into his glass.
As the device was implanted onto the Shanghvi's neck, it begin to activate. Giving Viper the ability to hear once again. While being thrown off for a few moments but quickly adjusted."Sir, you may speak once again." Lion said to Viper. "Th- Thank...you, Lion" said Viper though the implant with a automated voice. The Shanghvi started tampering with the implant, trying to find a voice that match what Viper originally chosen before.
Lion did a quick salute before gesturing towards the armor. "When you are ready, I will begin the proccess of armoring you up, sir."
Varn walked in the medical room, hoping to hear some good news about Viper. For once the surprise was pleasant. Viper was on her feet and looked better than ever. "Good to see you cheated death sir." Varn did a short salute.
After done configuring the settings of the Implant, Viper turn to Lion. "Right away, I have sent enough time wasting away here. " Viper said with a familiar feminine voice to Lion, albeit a bit softer due to the improved speech system of this implant compared to the precursor. Before enforcer Varn entered the room as well, saluting Viper and saying that he was glad to see that Viper had cheated death. Viper turned to face Varn, replying back with. "Good to see you have as well" pointing to the blacken crest plate of his armor.
Colin was reading the information Varn had provided when his boredom started to kick in. Colin's last attempts to getting to know his crew resulted in him storming out the bar from a particularly rude man. So what if he didn't have to actually interact with them to find out about them? The Archives detailed quite a lot, even more so after a few personal changes from Colin so there was potential he could find about everyone.
As he began to try to find information on his crew, he encountered a pattern that worried Colin to his bones. The last time he had searched up a crew member, there were a few bits of information. As he searched every single crew member, he was left in shock. There was no information except the first letter of middle names. Either someone had removed all the info or the archives' database was going haywire.
Colin leapt up from his seat and rushed to comms to get the attention of everyone.
"Understood." Lion pointed to the center of the stretcher. "Please remain seated."
He began dismounting one armorpiece at a time, as soon as they were put on Viper specially-made DNA-locks closed, locked and sealed the small pieces.
When all but the helmet was left, Lion paused. "This helmet will give you alot of information. Don't be startled."
He slowly put the helmet on Viper.
Immeadiately, a light turned green, closing the visor. The green light then began flashing and the other armorpieces began flashing as well untill they all started to connect via special nano-fabric connections, allowing Viper to remain as swift as she was without the armor.
When all the pieces had connected the nanobot-spheres started working. Each sphere began deploying millions of microspopic nanobots that started to tend Viper's wounds.
And at last, the helmet started up, giving Viper a advanced HUD linked to her neural signals.
The helmet began testing functions such as heat, night and colorvision. It also tested combat scanners and environment scanners before turning completely green, indicating neutral-mode.
"The LWA Mantis-type Exosuit. Modeled after yourself. Comes equipped with highly adnvanced sensor-, combat- and communication-systems. Plasma blades are integrated into your talons, like most onboard systems they are activated through your neural signals meaning that you use your very thoughts."
Lion paused and pointed towards the spheres.
"These class-1 nanobot spheres deploys microscopic robots that help treat your wounds while also boosting your overall defense from foreign bacteria, chemicals and/or biological agents."
He then pointed towards some empty sockets located on Viper's talons.
"These are weapon-sockets, I will begin construction of a variety of wepaons for you to use. They will be as easy to mount as they're to dismount and change."
"Finally, the suit is capable of EVA-class spacewalks."
Lion gestured towards Yanim and Iska. "If you are to thank anyone, thank these two. Without their help this suit would still just be a group of blueprints."
He smiled. "I hope you will find this suit comfortable."
After the Shanghvi was finished being equipped with the exo-suit. The steel felt unnatural and cold upon the shell, it's joints felt fairly unwieldy and slow. The helmet was however the part that Viper was really impressed by, taking a few moments to look over the new crew mates including a new enforcer also did doing a quick overview of the list of features of the Exosuit. The Shanghvi felt a sudden pain coming from all over the inter shell, as nanobot begin to treat the wounds of the inter shell. The shock made Viper loss balance for several minutes, nearly falling into Varn before regaining balance.
"The suit will begin mimic your regular temperature as well as the semi-low gravity setting that is present on your homeworld. Just give it some time and the exo suit will feel like a extension of yourself."
After stumbling about for a bit, Viper was able to adapt to moving around within the metallic suit as pain begin to ease and it's temperature raised to a comfortable level of 500 degrees within the Exo suit.
After Viper was able to get a hang of the suit, the Shanghvi look over to the crew responsible for it. "Thank you Lion, Iska and Yanim. You have all proved to be highly capable. I couldn't wish for anything more then what you have done for me" Viper said to them before sending a private massage to the captain. "Sir, I have recovered from the operation and I'm requesting to met with you urgently." After witch, Viper looked over to Varn. " Enforcer Varn, Can you please give me a quick status report on the new crew members?" Viper asked to Varn.
Lion saluted. "Good to have you back. I'll be in the armory if anyone needs me." He then left for the armory and begun working on some new weapons.
Varn turned on his com "Anyone who is good with computers, please see what Collin's problem is. As for me, I'm on monitoring duty. Anyone need anything just head over to the security room."
He made his way to the security room.

*BEEP*
"Sir, I have recovered from the operation and I'm requesting to met with you urgently." Viper message said.
Jeremy put his arm down and begun to stand up.
"It seems like Viper is awake now, I better go see how she is doing." Jeremy said.
He then walked out of the bar and went down to the medical bay, once he got there he saw Viper in a new suit. And standing next to her was Iska and Yanim.
"My...god...is that you Viper?" Jeremy said with a shocked tone in his voice.
"I assume this was the work of you lot?" Jeremy asked.
"You guys did a great job." Jeremy said.
In a quick moment to get out of Rigel, the Archius XI left and said their goodbyes to the ice planet and off to space once again in the silence mists. Iska takes one final look at her home planet and nods in confidence she will make everyone proud.
When they've left Rigel in a couple of hours, sensors picked up a strange anomaly from the radar. They picked up some heavy cryo signs from this, possibly even life signs too.
[Go ahead and load me up for now, I wont be able to interact for a coupla hours.]
As the captain walked into the room, Viper did a terran salute to Jeremy. "I think we are concluded here, Comrades. You are all dismissed friends." Viper said before taking the right upper talon and pulling into one of the many carrying packs on the Exo suit. Viper started to walk along side Jeremy to the Bridge though one of the many long corridor of the ship. As they walked within a empty wall way, Viper stop and turned to face Jeremy. "Sir, About my request.." Viper asked with cautious sounding voice. Pausing for a moment before continuing. "Sir..During my scan of the ship's engineering equipment, I found a small stash of mining tools." Taking a second pause before continuing "I was wanting to used them for- Viper was cut off by the ship's A.I as it begin to report a strange anomaly nearby. "Nevermind sir, I'l talk to you about it later" Viper said quickly with a disappointing voice and started walking away to the head security office. Before Jeremy could even respond with a simple goodbye.
